Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: A perfect getaway

This was my fourth visit to Grande Bahia Principe Luxury. Situated on Runaway Bay, it has everything you could ask for. Nightly entertainment, pool and beach parties, and great food. Staff are superb.

Riu Negril: Riu Negril excellent resort.

Overall the resort is very good, with the food the beach and the gardens and housekeeping and the staff very friendly.also I have in all my of travelling I have never been to a resort with so many sunbeds there must be at least 2 to 3 thousand at the beach and the pool so you don’t have to be up at 5 in morning to get a sunbed.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: My Go-to in Jamaica

Staff is incredible and constantly cleaning. They work so hard and always smiling. I love this resort and have been here about 15 times. Beach is awesome! Jerk chicken is the best from all the resorts I've been to.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Hotel is Average

The hotel was average and needs many upgrades. The food was great and the staff for the most part were nice and friendly. Jovi-Anne Black was amazing, kind and went above and beyond for my family and I.

Couples Swept Away: Great Resort

This was our first visit to the resort and it didn’t disappoint. Although the rooms are a little outdated they were very clean and well maintained. The service in all aspects was very good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food catered to all nationalities and was good. The beach was amazing.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Grat time at Iberostar

This is my third time at this resort. It was a good experience, food was good as always , great selection. Beach is great, for swiming and enjoying water.Some changes I noticed since my last visit pre-pandemic : no tablecloths in buffet dining room , no straws in resort , not even paper ones, not great service at restaurants.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Need updates

The buffet food was always cold I went in the end of April most bars closed even the sports bar didn’t open till 4 the a la cart has improved and one day we had a pool full of Jamaican children from a school not relaxing at all

Catalonia Montego Bay: Nice resort

I didn’t like on how the supervisor sneaked in the room while my wife was in the bathroom, we both felt awkward about this supervisor walking in the room,other than that the staff were very friendly and polite, Denise was very friendly and kept our room clean

Riu Ocho Rios: Great resort!

The gardens were beautiful, however; the beach is beautiful, the rooms were clean and staff were great. The entertainment was lacking in the daytime on the beach & would be a nice change to switch up some of the shows in the evening's. Same shows the last 3 years at different Riu locations we stayed in Jamaica. We love Riu chains, people are great. I would probably enjoy an adults only next time, lots of infants this round and crying through the night keeping me awake. Overall great resort

The gardens were beautiful, the entertainment was lacking in the daytime on the beach however; the beach is beautiful, the rooms were clean and staff were great. Different entertainment in the evenings year to year would be nice to change it up some, same shows the last 3 years at different Riu locations in Jamaica. We love Riu chains, people are great. Riu Reggae: Great Experience

Grounds are well kept, bathrooms are clean, staff are very friendly and always trying to get guests involved in the daily activities and nightly entertainment. There’s an abundance of food and fresh fruits, especially those from the island. It was nice to see that Jamaican dishes were available at every meal - sometimes the vegetables were a bit too salty but other options were available at other stations. The lobby is not very open so we spent more time at the Mobay lobby as it was much more breezy - it’s larger and more comfortable. Loved the option to use the amenities at Mobay.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Sunshine

Wonderful! Great Vibes! Excellent tribute to Michael Jackson Show will blow you away. Lovely Hotel, comfy beds, delicious Food, lively music, great beach with mini coral Reefs for Snorkelling. Heavenly sunsets, very relaxing and something for everyone.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Perfect getaway!

Hotel and staff are organized, this resort offers many conveniences. Everyone is super nice and down to earth. The view, the beach and grounds are paradise. Good vibes, good food, good service, good people and good view. Thank you for making our vacation one of the best we’ve ever had.

Ocean Eden Bay: Clean, well maintained and Comfortable Resort

My husband and I vacationed here for a week. Very clean and well maintained hotel. Rooms were great, loved the hanging egg chair. Bed was comfy and the shower was great. Loved our balcony. Pool was lovely with lots of lounge chairs. Beach was awful, basically no where to swim. BRING WATERSHOES. The restaurants were delicious on the Eden side. Lots of variety but it's a VERY Americanized resort so if you're looking for Jamaican culture, not the place. Missed our orientation because we thought the sales pitch was our orientation. Turned us off.

Princess Senses the Mangrove: Mediocre

Huge resort. Understaffed in places. Most staff seemed unhappy. Lots of places to hang out, never a shortage of a chair/lounger. Buffets huge, a la Carte’s small. Room was without power one day, and water leaked from ceiling another day. Service and resort aren’t worthy of 5 star rating.

Riu Ocho Rios: Awesome Stay!

This is our second time staying here and we will be back. The beaches are so well kept, the water is fantastic and there are great areas to snorkel. I would recommend that you bring your own mask & snorkel, they are included in the cost of the stay, but only 1 hour, which honestly isn't long enough. The food was great, we ate at all the different places, but the buffet was always good, no shortage of choices. The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable. Riu Ocho Rios: Riu Ocho Rios - April 2025

Hotel, room, food, beach were perfect. Our room was situated on the kiddies side, which we did not appreciate. We did not use the pool because it was full of children. If your a couple and would like a romantic stay, be sure to ask for the adults only side.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Our wedding/ Vacation

We visited this hotel for the first time last year. We were so impressed that we booked our wedding then for this April 2025. There were some issues but the pros out number by far. The only issues We had was that we could not login to wifi when we arrived and AC in our room was not working as well as it should. We arrived at 9pm and we were able to connect to the wifi by the next morning. The staff are always amazing, always friendly and bubbly. If there was any issues, they tried to resolve it right away. The buffets always had variety and was always fresh. They have an AMAZING drink menu, and the bartenders will make you pretty much anything you ask for. The entertainment staff always have something going on, and they are so easy to talk and joke with. They definitely contributed to some life long memories. I highly recommend the foam parties! The resort could use some renovations but they are closing for 2026 to do so. The resort is massive with multiple different things to do and see :shops, restaurants, dive shop, water activities. I am not one for visiting the same resort twice, but I will continue to come back here. Our wedding day was amazing. I was so stressed months leading up to the day, and i did not worry have to worry about anything that day. I accidently wrote the wrong reception area and they were able to correct it for me that day. They set everything up for us. I did not have to worry about anything that day, I would not change anything about it. I cannot give enough appraise for the staff here. They work so hard and always have a smile on their face. I highly recommend this place for a vacation or destination wedding.

Legends Beach Resort: Very Cozy! Home away from Home!

We felt at home at Legends. Everything was very clean and the food was amazing. The only couple of areas of improvement would be to add more umbrellas available on the beach, and maybe new shower heads to regulate temperature and increase pressure.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Not for Ocean/Sea swimmers or Beach Lovers!

I would rate the resort as average. Service was good and the food was fine, nothing special. I enjoy swimming in the ocean/sea. Unfortunately the water inside the breakwater was too shallow to swim so I was forced to swim outside the breakwater west of the hotel. This was OK (not ideal) when not windy but not possible when windy. The beach was very small and not really enjoyable for wading in the water or sunbathing. We tried to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants immediately u [... read more]pon arrival but the only times available were 9 and 9:30 p.m. This forced us to eat at the buffet all the time. VERY Disappointing! Recommend that guests be allowed only 2 or 3 a la carte reservations per week to allow other guests to the opportunity to experience the a la cartes. The resort is a long distance from the airport. Took 2.5 hours to travel from the resort back to the airport due to many stops along the way.
