Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful Resort
We loved our stay. Amazing service and food. Access to 4 other resorts. Loved that our resort was farther from the others. It was more private and had more of a jungle vibe. We got to see spider monkeys from the pool. Unfortunately, the beaches were full of seaweed and inaccessible.
The Westin Cozumel: An Excellent Stay at The Westin Cozumel
We had an excellent week stay at the Westin Cozumel. Drinks are varied and not watered down with excellent service an attentive staff. Tip: bring a reusable straw. The food was great though could present limited options. Breakfast buffet style overlooking turquoise water. Lunch had two options while supper would alternate everynight between the two main restaurants. Room service is also available. FYI - If you are not a seafood lover, it eliminates half the menus. This is a hotel [... read more]
Royal Solaris: ROYAL SOLARIS
The hotel is quite lovely with it's architecture and the fact it is low rise (4-5) floors. Our room was great, quiet, good view of the pool and clean. Food often left something to be desired, luke warm, limited choice/variety. The Mexican "specialty" restaurant was a let down. All taco menu. Staff pretty good.It is a family hotel but I found there were too many kids. Large pool too crowded but the adult only pool was nice. Pool bar could have stayed open longer as one has to go way trhough to th [... read more]
All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Good Times
The resort was very clean and workers were nice and most of them spoke English.. Arturo at the front desk was professional who went over and above to accommodate you..Entertainment was great Alex made sure it was fun for everyone.. Booking any incursions plan with Oscar he was very experienced and knew his stuff.. Food was good.. Drinks could have been better..
Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Hyatt Zina hotel was fantastic
My trip and vacation was great. The weather was hot.l would recommend that inclusive should be clarified who is responsible for shuttle transportation from Puerto Vallarta airport to the hotel and return from hotel to the airport. It was not clear if Airtransat was the shuttle provider since at the arrival No-one was available but likely there were plenty of taxis at the airport. This item should be clarified and organized better.
Moon Palace Cancun: Absolutely love this resort!
This resort ticks all of my boxes. Very clean, great food, grounds are beautiful, staff are wonderful. Didn't want to come back. This was my third time at this resort. Had a spectacular view of the gulf from our balcony.
Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Wonderful Resort!
We absolutely love Akumal Bay Beach & Spa Resort. The service is outstanding-every staff member is so kind and welcoming. (Thank you to Aurora for our wonderful breakfasts each morning!) Oceanfront rooms, a beautiful beach just steps away, and incredible snorkeling right off the shore made this stay unforgettable. The resort has a smaller, intimate feel-you quickly feel connected, like you’re part of it… truly a “welcome home” experience. Great food (especially at Kooben), and the yoga and [... read more]
Royalton CHIC Cancun: Had a decent realxing time
We had a pretty decent time at this hotel. It was very relaxing and the service was great. Although, we did feel that there could have been more activities planned during the day time, maybe we went on weekdays, sometime the whole vibe was dull. Food and drinks were okay, nothing super fancy. Very minimal options for protein if you are vegetarian.
Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Great Resort
Our first trip to Cabo was enjoyable thanks to Sandos! The weather was beautiful and humidity was low. The grounds at the resort were clean, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious! I really liked not having to make dinner reservations for any of the 4 restaurants on site, which helped you to relax and not be on timelines while on vacation. While the beach was nice for whale watching, and being mesmerized by the crashing of the waves, it was not swimmable, or easily walkable for that [... read more]
Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Lovely hotel
Boutique hotel. Lovely rooms. Washrooms all updated. Super staff who are very accommodating! Food was also delicious. Will definitely go back. Great location. Toured both Cabo San Lucas and San José Cabo.
Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: A great vacation! Resort was fantastic!
We were treated well by the staff and some were over the top in caring about service and happy guests. Having wonderful weather provides a great background for an ideal get away however where you stay matters too. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. All was provided as presented. Amenities good. Getting bottled water was easy once you knew where to ask - only cups of water at pool bar but lobby bar and coffee shot had bottled water as well. As others have mentioned the Lobby needs so [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Tequila: Very Clean and New
Amazing pool, confusing at first as you get use to where things are. The pool and staff are amazing. Would highly recommend. Nice that it is adult only - but yet close to the next resort over which is family based.
Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Very good resort. Just thought the beach was very disapointing.
Just one down fall. The rooms are far from the main areas. .We went to lay on the beach, very windy lots of seaweed. i wish we could have spent time at the beach. Would go at different time of year. Otherwise overall it was worth it.
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Lovely Family Resort
My family of seven had a lovely week at Ocean Riviera Paradise. Would definitely consider a fourth stay here. Good food and excellent service! I found the kids pool was very busy but the other pools were more quiet.
Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Luxury Beyond Expectation
Thank you Nicole Deforest for organizing the most amazing vacation! Now for the review: this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure a luxurious vacation. The food was incredible, the grounds were spotless and lush and the employees were gracious and incredibly helpful. Antonio and José, the pool’s concierge did an incredible job of ensuring everyone at the main pool had a clean, fresh towel and shade. I loved the fact that there were no “chair wars” at the pool. Dinners were wonderful. T [... read more]
Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Wonderful People
The resort itself is very tired and could you a complete over haul. The beach is not great and can be quite difficult to get to, very few lounge chairs and very little shade areas. The pools are small so you have to get up very early to get a lounge chair and pray someone doesn't remove your towel. The shows were pretty good at night, but during the day was only water aerobics. Food was good, pizza was very good. The staff are absolutely amazing and go way above and beyond to help make your vaca [... read more]
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Fantastic quality and value
This was our 2nd time and there will be a 3rd, top notch all around, food, service, cleanliness and the best value for a 5 star adults only resort. Not on the beach but the beach club has that Miami vibe that's a 5 minute shuttle ride away. The views are the best in Cancun and your 20 minutes from the airport. A refined and relaxing resort with great staff and diverse activities.
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Disappointing!
The food situation is extremely frustrating. You are not allowed to take food out anywhere. You can only get a few fried items on the takeout menu. We were there with the baby and it was extremely difficult to eat when we wanted to. We had to constantly eat the same thing because babies aren’t always able to go into restaurants. Very frustrating!
El Dorado Seaside Palms: El Dorado Palms
Overall, the stay was conventional. There were moments during the vacation when it was impressive, however most of the time I found the resort and employees lacked the five-star polish. The greenery was outstanding, the entire resort itself was clean and my room was well-kept. The food, service, pleasantries from staff, beverages was hit and miss. I was very disappointed with the culinary selection, the food was definitely a three-star. The one spot where I found the environment to b [... read more]
Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Hidden Gem
2nd stay at this hotel and we have nothing bad to say about it. Good value for your money, ocean front property, lots of food options. Rooms are clean, we had a king size bed, mini fridge in room but not stocked. Large bottle of drinking water left in room daily. Property is kept up, staff are very friendly. Walk or taxi into town for restaurants and markets.
