Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Absolutely Amazing!

We are so pleased we chose to book an early Christmas vacation to Bahia Principe Luxary Ambar Punta Cana on Dec. 14th with Air Canada. It was everything we hoped for plus more. Decorations were impeccible. The attention, friendliness and knowledge of staff were unforgettable. The main buffet and La Brisa was always well stocked with delicious options. Bahia Principe Escape Tequila: Bahai Principe Grand Tequila

We just returned from a week at the newly renovated Grand Tequila and were very pleased our decision to try another Bahai Principe resort. We have been to Punta Cana Aquamarine a number of times and Grand Tequila did not disappoint. Some observations were that the gym was in the basement, no windows, no TVs and much smaller than the gym at Punta Cana which included a separate room for fitness classes. The rooms, grounds, Lobby, pools and restaurants were all well kept, clean and inviting. Our on [... read more]ly complaint was the app for booking restaurant reservations, frustrating and difficult to say the least. Also, we were afforded specialty restaurant reservations for each night of our stay at Aquamarine in Punta Cana and there was a reservation interactive screen where you could book, change and delete reservations very easily. One other observation was that at La Casita a full menu was available if you chose the Spanish site but the English site did not include a full menu of options. We only realized this on our last visit and the staff were the ones who pointed out that to get the complete menu offering you needed to access the Spanish option, maybe the other languages as well? All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and realize it is a new part of the resort and kinks have to be worked out. I would definitely recommend Grand Tequila.

ITs a Nice resort..good food..good variety...friendly staff..Room super clean..i truly like this place..i recommend this hôtel..i often go to Punta cana..always to a différent resort..but i would definitely go back to this hôtel

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent Resort

The rooms and resort features met all expectations. We did have a problem using the app to check in early and as a result were not able to advance book any a la carte. When we arrived there were not a lot of a la carte openings available.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Loud feral cats!

The resort was beautiful but most nights were disrupted sleep because of screaming feral cats. We also experienced a Cockroach in room the last day :/. The outlet in out bathroom had burn marks on it and the blow dryer wouldn’t work in it.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great resort!

We love our vacations at this resort. This is the third time we have been to this resort because it is everything we are looking for. The main attraction is the beach which is a lovely sandy beach. There is no need for beach shoes as the sand continues into the water for some distance. Further out there is a coral reef so there are great opportunities to snorkel if you wish. The Brazilian would have to be our favourite one followed by the Italian. This is just my opinion and my preferences, however. The room was fine for the price we paid with a few little things that could have been improved upon.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Good Resort

Grounds are very clean. Room was very clean had a hot water issue one day which was fixed. Others reported no towels for days. Shows were ok- better last year. If your looking for a party resort this is not the one. Average age 45+ but we prefer that. This was our 3rd stay. No golf this time it was too hot. But the golf is excellent

The resort was absolutely beautiful and the staff was so kind. We were a very large group and the resort accommodated us the entire time. We were also celebrating multiple occasions and they made sure to celebrate us and make the entire experience extremely special

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: very nice!

beach:+++++ clean water, no seaweed, no wave, snorkeling close : just wonderful!!! -------- not enough palapas; towels are very thin and old; rooms:+++++ bed is very good, pillows are very good, very clean; -------AC is not great, very old bathrooms, TV is too old and small, everything else is REALLY WONDERFUL!!! don't expect any great shows or super singers..

Bahia Principe Escape Tequila: Grand Bahía Tequila

Hotel is spotless, this included rooms and grounds. Very disappointed about the ala carte restaurants. We were only able to get one reservation during the entire week even though we had been promised three. Pool was really nice. Resort staff are extremely excellent. Special shout out to Valery at the check in desk at Tequila. A room charge had mistakenly been made to our room from the sports bar and she worked tirelessly to ensure this charge was removed before we checked out. This is [... read more] something everyone should be aware of because you have to charge things to your room ( top shelf liquor) and if the wait staff makes an error it is difficult to fix. It took 3 managers to locate a copy of the signature on the charge before it was reversed.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good for the money

This hotel is located on the same grounds as grand Tulum and Akumel Bajia If you want to make the vacation totally satisfying you can purshase a pass for the other 2 resorts at 20$ a day . Now you can use there beaches and beach bars and buffet’s. Just include this over the cost of Coba and you will have a inexpensive holiday for a week Rooms at Coba were clean , big and up to date . No servers around the pool at Coba , use your pass and enjoys full service at the other two resorts which ar [... read more]nt far at all. Lots of trams running all day long.. If you really want to be spoiled purchase the privilege’s package and enjoy.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Not great!

Food not great - service not great - cleanliness not great - restaurant experience not great -overall not great - I have nothing really good to say about this resort.i would not recommend as an adults resort with all restaurants being a very bad experience.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantastic Resort

The staff are helpful, friendly and attentive. We like the decor of the rooms, although dated. The buffet is amazing! Lots of variety. Something for every appetite. We really enjoy Le Gourmet, they serve a delicious beef tenderloin.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Outstanding Stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal!

My wife and I recently stayed at Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal in the Mayan Riviera for 11 days, and the experience exceeded our expectations on nearly every level. We stayed in a swim-out suite, which was absolutely worth it. The room was spacious, well maintained, and a perfect way to start and end each day. The resort itself is beautifully laid out, easy to navigate with passenger carts regularly shuttling guests to and from each of the adjoining resorts. We dined at 10 different restaurants, and the food quality and service were consistently excellent. Each restaurant felt distinct, the menus were well thought out, and service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall service throughout the resort was very good, with friendly, professional staff who clearly take pride in what they do. From housekeeping to restaurants to common areas, the team created a welcoming and comfortable environment. A special shout out to Miguel at Bar 66 on the beach. He's one of the best bartenders at the resort. The only thing that could have been improved was the drink service at the pools. We often would not see a server for hours. The evening shows were entertaining and well produced (especially the magician and the "Lumina" act), offering a nice variety and a fun way to wind down after the day. The weather was excellent throughout our stay, which only added to the enjoyment. My wife and I both had a fantastic time and would absolutely return to this resort without hesitation. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beautiful spot

The weather was absolutely amazing the whole 10 days. We had no issues with the WestJet flight and was well prepared with everything needed from the trip central staff. Thank you for making sure we were prepared with visit tax and everything else.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great Solo Trip

This was my first solo trip and this location was perfect. I was looking for a nice quiet and relaxing vacation and Bouganville checked all these boxes. Smaller resort, not to busy. Highly recommend for someone looking a chill vacation, not much of a night life. This is the oldest of the Bahia's on the island so it doe not have the best beach but it is well maintained. For breakfast I recommend Popping over to the La Romana side for the buffet as it is bigger and had more options. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Swim-Up rooms and beach

This was our 6th visit to the Luxury Ambar Bahia and it never fails to impress us. It is a very well staffed resort with a good selection of a la carte restaurants and a pretty diverse buffet. For those with mobility challenges there is a wooden walkway to the beach, some wooden decks and access to a special wheelchair that can be wheeled into the ocean. Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great Resort

I have been to a few Bahia Principe resorts and this one rates at the top. Great layout, food and staff. I would definitely recommend this resort. It is about an hour drive from the airport and the coach was very comfortable.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing holiday again

Stayed at this resort for seven beautiful days. Had an ocean front room which was a little dated but room was very clean and everything work. The beach is rocky when entering which didn’t affect us as we always wear water shoes. Had no problem booking all seven a la carte restaurants and had amazing food at all that we booked. Also found there house wines to be very good. Transportation around the resort is great. The trolleys came around every ten minutes so no waiting around.
