Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Definitely NOT a 5 star ...2 Star at most

Came back from our trip very very disappointed - thought we were going to a five stars when actually we got a low 3 stars Food was average and Alcoholic drinks were NOT top shelf .... i.e. if you wanted a Corona it was $5 US ...and JW Scotch was $5. per shot ... defeats the purpose of an "all inclusive if you have to keep paying extra for premium ( actually the first all inclusive resort I have been to where they did this) in addition the concierge staff constantly tries to upsell you on meal [... read more]s or private dining. Rooms are clean however a bit dated Staff - some very friendly majority really did not want to be there - i think the majority working in the buffet area were kids on summer break. I can write a book of the issues we had (group of 10) but don't really think it would help the hotel need a overall manager of customer service. Curacao was great however we will definitely not go back to this hotel.

Pros: - Resort is well-kept and clean. Lots of pools to enjoy, water park was GREAT! Beach was beautiful and is perfect for surfing (my kids loved it)! - Lots of activities to keep everyone of all ages - busy! - Food was SO GOOD with lots of choices! My husband tried the French Bordeaux restaurant and it was AMAZING! No upset stomach/diarrhea! Restaurant staff is friendly and attentive! - Resort location is great! We were the first to get off the shared airport transfer from airport and la [... read more]st to get on the bus to the airport Cons: - We had a few issues with our 2-bedroom villa: 1. One of the bedroom floor was flooded with water due to heavy rain the night before 2. There was a gecko in the master bedroom and keeps calling in the middle of the night -> hard to get good sleep (butler said he will personally handle the issue but never did) 3. Smell coming out from master bedroom ensuite can't seem to find the source 4. The sliding door which separates the toilet/shower from the bedroom, cannot be closed completely leaving little privacy - Butler was NOT helpful at all, could have handle everything we requested myself and get a faster response time.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: I want to go back!

We traveled to this resort as a family with two adults and two teenagers and we all had a great time! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the staff are very friendly. The beach is beautiful and we all enjoyed the lazy river water park. The rooms and grounds are very clean. I'd definitely recommend this resort to others and would love to go back!

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Best Vacation Ever!

The staff at this hotel was very welcoming. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with “Welcome Home” and a warm smile. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The menus at the various restaurants on site were impressive and delicious. The beach and pools were amazing. We would definitely revisit this location.

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Average 3* Resort

I found the people to be very friendly and helpful. The amenities were lacking in many areas: Food and service were just average. by the time food reached the table it was cold or barely warm - (Japanese restaurant is the exception - but food was very salty). The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was passable. many times the table were lacking cutlery and slow service. The lack of a grill area for breakfast was a major set back for me. I had food poisoning for the last 3 days of my sta [... read more]y - not fun. The room and cleaning were good. Many of the towels looked stained and not clean. I liked the coffee bar. The beach and pool were decent. Quite often the majority of the chairs were covered with towels and no one using them.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Fantastic Experience!

Everything about this place was 5 stars. Amazing beach, amazing facilities, amazing food, amazing drinks and amazing service. Would recommend to anyone who wants the relaxing, luxurious Mexico experience, especially families and couples.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Fantastic Resort, no complaints

This hotel was beautiful from the rooms to the grounds, to the food, to the staff. I travelled with my 6 year old, and he loved the place too, everyone was so kind to him and helpful. Food had something for everyone and never a long wait. I went for the swim up room and definitely a game changer, so when the heat go to be too much for the little we could go back to the room and he could nap or go in the pool at the room as it had some shade. I would 100% revisit this resort.

Hyatt Vivid Cancun: Very nice resort

Great stay! Very clean. Brian and Dania excellent service! Entertainment staff did a great job. Restaurants all good! Only complaint would be the buffet I wasn’t a fan but everything else great! Would return to this resort. Had a Spa day and it was amazing. Not very busy due to the time of the year which was awesome.

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Dreams playa mujeres

Beautiful grounds Good food Gorgeous beach with almost no seaweed Good stuff, clean rooms. Disgusting pools :( Water in pool is never cleaned, you cannot even see the bottom. Infinity pools don’t work, the level of the water is not enough to get over the edge. Very loud at night - weddings every day.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Very good stay

Dreams Dominicus is very good vacation spot with crustal clear warm water and very nice amenities, buildings, and rooms. I have to say, the service was 5 stars. I have requested additional towels, I got them within 10 minutes (!) Gym is new, sparkly clean with nice equipment. Yoga teacher Casie made my days! But i [... read more]f you like to walk, it is not for you. The sea is shallow, but you can swim. An the water is so warm! The pools are nice and clean. The only thing I did not like very much becide of food was the crowded beach. The beach chairs in the Preffered section were placed so close to each other, you could not pass in between. So, people were lying too close to each other. Because of that I gave 4 stars to beach. It did not have very bad impact to our stay. We had very good vacation, thank you tripcantral!

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Excellent

We had an excellent time at dreams jade. Serving staff were very attentive and the quality of food at the restaurants was very high. We enjoyed Spice and the Italian restaurant, Miguel who works at Spice made the teppanyaki table a fun experience. The entertainment staff work very hard and really improved our vacation experience, I’d like to mention Saul and Angel for the great work they do to engage with guests at the resort.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Best Vacation and Wedding Ever

Fabulous holiday - 10 Days - Wedding group of 30 Family and Friends! The Wedding info and advice at the end! Everyone in our group of Canadians loved this resort! 04/20-30/2024 No complaints! Everyone agreed it was beautiful and so was the beach! The people that work there are so friendly, and at your service! They all seem to love to be there! The food is off and on good. Never had a bad meal, but I do agree they could do better! I certainly did not starve, between room service - Omele [... read more]tte, Club sandwich, Quesadillas, Guacamole and chips, Cheeseburger and Fries, etc. Restaurant - La Patio - Mexican - loved the Bario Tacos, and the Steak fajitas. Restaurant - Teppanyaki - Japanese - People loved the Sweet and Sour dish, I loved the Beef Wok! Restaurant - Portifino - Italian - We thought the Lasagna and NY steak were lovely Restaurant - Bordeaux - our table didn't like anything, even the chicken tasted like fish, but our family at the next table served 1 hour later, and we arrived the same time, they loved their same meals. The Steak and Lobster Tail Romantic beach dinner was lovely and Jose made it very special. It’s $350usd plus $50usd for an extra Lobster tail. 4 lovely courses, champagne etc. We were glad we did it! The Tour that includes 4 tours in one, everyone that went said it was awesome! Including ATVing and see Monkeys, Zip Line, Cenotes - Cave snorkelling, and then 2 hot, but interesting hours, at Tulum! Best advice - pay the extra $25usd for ATV insurance. The best part everyone agreed was the snorkeling in the caves - Cenotes! We did a 6 hour Deep Sea Fishing trip from Cancun, so 90 minute drive there and back! They said $150usd p/person, but then plus taxi, plus local taxes it worked out to @ $300 p/person, but that’s still cheap for the expierience. Take Gravol, as the waves are high, and the Diesel from the boat can be stinky! They catch the bait first, which was just as interesting, and that could have been the trip! We were lucky we caught 2 Trophy size Barracudas, over 50pounds, &56 inches! One person out of six was sick, so really make sure you are seaworthy! The pool games are fun and loud at 12p to about 3p. If your room is the building beside the pool it can be very noisy, but we didn’t mind. At night it can be noisy too, as it’s beside the most popular bar - Sugar Reef Bar. Again, we didn't mind as it always finished right at 11:00pm The Cocoa Cafe is lovely and the Preferred lobby and check-in is there too! PREFERRED, was worth it to us, as we are older and have bad knees, so we could ask for anything and it was done for us. We felt like Rock stars, as my husband says! Everyone is friendly and very accommodating. Jonathan, the Preferred Concierge is Awesome, and so is Angel, the manager of Preferred! Their co-worker Angeles, and bartender Edwin were very friendly and helpful. Light healthy snacks are offered in the Preferred lounge. We will return to Jonathan and Angel - as well as Salvador on the Preferred Beach any day - WE LOVED IT!! If you have trouble getting around, you would want to stay on the Preferred side of the resort, as they can get their golf carts down that side. The Preferred beach is quieter, but the entrance to the ocean and the ocean floor are more difficult with rocks and shells. However, the Cabanas at $80usd per day were very nice, and more a treat for a day, as you get Preferred drinks and food and service. FYI - I was afraid I would be very hot in general in Mexico, and that the humidity would ruin my holiday - I was very apprehensive! But the constant breeze from the ocean made a huge difference! Just stay close to the pools or ocean to stay cooler. We will be back for sure! I was a travel agent for 36 years, and this is, in my opinion, a well maintained, friendly, beautiful, organized, safe place to consider for a holiday! Nothing is perfect, but all the positives here, out weigh any negatives! My understanding is that Hyatt acquired Dreams, and they have a plan to make it, and keep it at a higher standard. I think that’s why there were some negatives reviews, they may have been caught in the changeover! Enjoy! ? WEDDING - we had Victoria as the Planner and she is unbelievably awesome! So organized and it’s like breathing to her. My DIL was very anxious, but Victoria made everything so easy, that my DIL was very calm! The wedding on the beach was gorgeous! I can’t imagine not doing it on the beach, as you are here anyways! The 4pm ceremony was perfect! The reception was on the Sunset Terrace, which was beyond beautiful! Perfection is all I can think of for this Holiday and Wedding at DREAMS TULUM!!!!! ! Best wishes! ??

For me and Alek it was perfect The service was 100% It’s just that we din’t get the room until 16:30 ich ? And when we arrived they seamed to be all mixt up They where mixing name and bag. After that we got are room it start to be ok ?? And it’s far from the Airport

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Stayed at a better resort

It's an older hotel, but it was clean, grounds was well taken care of. Pool was boring with elevator music, until the entertainment had a game going. Then back to boring music. Buffet food was Mediocre. Beach was terrible so many rocks bring water shoes. Entertainment at night was amazing.

Nice hotel, clean but service wasn't great, they were not very accommodating, pool was boring, and buffet food was not great. A couple of the resturants were ok. Overall no bad but not great............

Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: 10/10

Amazing all inclusive. Great food, resort, pools, drinks...everything. The water park is excellent for all ages. The seaside grill is phenomenal, the Mexican restaurant is great and the hibachi restaurant is a lot of fun.

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana: WOW!

Of all the places I’ve been to this is no question the best from the check Lin to check out. The food was way out of this world. I recommend that you go Preferred if you want to be children free. Their pool is busy.

Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: Awesome resort

This is a wonderful resort! The greenery is so beautiful! The staff are so friendly and very accommodating. Food was very good. Loved that it was a short walk from the main pool to the beach. Might need a few more shades areas but we had an amazing time. Would definitely go back again.
