Punta Peninsula Varadero: Amazing trip!!

This was my first trip outside of Canada! I had an amazing time. Glad I booked with Brenda at tripcentral. Staying in Cuba was such an amazing experience and I would do it again and again. The staff and tourists were so friendly the drinks were good. Even the food was good. Beach was amazing and same with the room. Thanks again!!!!

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Amazing resort

Second time there love it! Food great ! Beautiful grounds! The people are so kind! They take very good care of you! Some water issues but no probs! They are in a drought!super great great great! This is to many letters you should shorten

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Beautiful Resort

Rooms and grounds were clean. Lots of options at the buffet. Easy access to the beach. 3 pool options. Most staff very friendly and helpful although the feel of the resort was not as upbeat as our stay 3 years ago. Nevertheless we will quite likely return there again

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Great service and value for money

Second time to Cuba, first time in Holguin. This was definitely superior to our first trip to Varadero in an equal start rated hotel. The hotel was better than we expected, well maintained, clean and refreshed. Evening entertainment was very good with great variety each night. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Travelling with my daughter, felt very safe and not worried about her alone at night on resort grounds. Activity staff could do a better job of involving more guests; the [... read more]y almost seem shy and only approach the same people each day. Only complaint is that there are not nearly enough lounge chairs at pools or beach for the number of guests and many guests 'reserve' with towels and leave the chairs for hours. Perhaps hotel staff could periodically do a sweep and remove belongings where it is clear nobody has been for over 2-3 hours.

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Beautiful Spot!

Had a great time at the Blau Marina with my young family. I would characterize it as a family oriented resort. The food was great, the staff was friendly and the rooms were sweet. My daughter really enjoyed all of the shows in the evenings. We would stay again!

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Amazing Memories!

We recently stayed at this resort and were pleasantly surprised at its wonderful lay out, picturesque grounds and pristine beach and pool areas. We had an amazing time. Most staff are wonderful and we became close with a few special ones. We always had fresh towels, clean linen and water left for us everyday. The lobby bar was always buzzing with activity and fun. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Had a wonderful time

The resort features were great, beautiful beach with lots of fish to see if you like to snorkel, pools were nice and big, it was clean. Our room was nice, although the "Garden View" was definitely an overstatement. There is a walking trail around the resort which we really enjoyed and lots of fossil hunting to do. What we were surprised by was that there didn't seem to be enough staff...line ups for everything. It could take 20 minutes to get a coffee in the morning while waiting for the  [... read more]buffet to open, then once in the buffet another 20 minute wait in line to get an omelet made. There were times we left a bar and found another one because we waited and waited for a drink, that was disappointing. We will go again to Holguin, Playa Pesquero Beach, but not to Blau Costa Verde. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Beautiful resort

After being to Cuba several times, this resort is one of the best we have been to. Clean, friendly and the food was excellent. The beach is beautiful. I would definitely go back without any hesitation.

Blau Varadero: Fantastic resort

Hotel was amazing. it is very clean and well maintained. It wasn't loud it was peaceful. Lots of things to do like shopping, snorkelling, sailing, swimming, bus tours. Food was great, we were told bad things about the food but were greatly surprised. The staff were friendly and always ready to serve. There was always activities going on every day. Rooms were beautiful and the cleaning staff were amazing.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Great getaway...

Where to begin.... the resort is quaint and beautiful. When we look around its like you are in a little village in Italy. The resort is older and a bit worn but it is very clean and stunning. All the workers seem very unhappy with this. We heard alot from them. They don't tip ever and get very rude. It's sad because that is important. Sooooo if you book make sure you tip good and love the workers...they deserve it❤

Blau Privilege Cayo Libertad: Quiet spot by the ocean

This hotel was well maintained and quiet. The maid most talented in designing with towels on our bedspread: made every day a surprise when returning to our room. We found the staff in every part of this resort very accommodating. My husband and I were happy to find fishing within walking distance from our room and beautiful array of fish to watch. The restaurant at the Blau had average food, with every effort to having safe and drinkable water. Service was prompt with every effort to meet ou [... read more]r requests. With a view of the ocean from most of the tables the ambiance was the best you can find.

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Staff amazing

2nd time here first was 3 years ago. Looking a little weathered but everywhere we saw renovations on the go. Would say it is a 3 star in current state. Advertised as a 4 star. The staff at main lobby bar and most servers at buffet worked hard to please everyone.

Enjoyed the pools and beach - clean and close The Rooms were decent, but the fridge was not stocked most days Staff was very friendly and efficient. Cleaning was always being done. Resort was getting a bit tired - needs a face lift but they were in the midst of doing improvements. The resort was half empty which meant many a la carte restaurants were not open Food was just ok and even the a la carte restaurants were not great. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Amazing resort

We have been to Blau costa verde from 5th to 12th february 2017. We upgrade for Blau costa verde PLUS because we weren't satisfied of our rom. Room in PLUS side was modern, clean and new. People who worked at this resort are very helpful, friendly except women at the front desk. Food at the buffet was really good, various and tasty . Also, all restaurants are good enough to be tried. The beach was wonderful. I recommand easily this resort.

Blau Varadero: Okay visit.

This was my second time to Varadero and it was better than the last but I will probably not return. The food is just okay, nothing great and very limited and repetitive. The Mexican a la carte was terrible and the International was better but not great by any means. We stayed in a renovated suite and it was nice, the TV had CTV Montreal so we were able to watch prime time TV. The nightly entertainment was pretty bad and way too smoky in the confined area. The people were nice, pool good but [... read more] cold and the beach was beautiful. Would not return to Cuba as they clearly do not have all the amenities that I like on an all inclusive vacation. I would much rather visit Mexico or Jamaica.

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Amazing resort

This resort is well managed and maintained. They treat you like family and go the extra mile to make your stay forever memorable.my wife and I will be definitely returning. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a first class vacation. Cuba is a great place to holiday and the staff at blau marina makes this a no.1spot to be.

Blau is one of the nicest resorts we have stayed at! the grounds are gorgeous. The staff there is really friendly. Everything you want in a resort is there. Lots to do for everyone! Would recommend it !

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Very Nice!

Our recent one week stay at the Blau Costa Verde (Plus) was just what we needed: a lovely beach, nice accommodations (better than expected), great people on staff. The Plus addition adds a few nice amenities but certainly is not necessary to enjoy this resort. The food was good and lots of varieties were available to suit our taste. the a-la-carte restaurants do add some nice alternative meals. Muthu Colonial Hotel: Back Again!

We returned again to Hotel Colonial! Not disappointed! Salt water pool was beautiful! You could see the improvements with the renovations that were done to the resort from last year. The rooms always super clean and cleaning staff always polite and all staff welcoming you, every where you went. You could always find something to eat, great pizza and hamburgers with fries. Don't forget in the buffet if you look around, you will always find something to eat, great chicken and pasta! Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: A place you can return to every year

This was my 3rd time. We took our 85 year old mother with a walker this time. This resort was great for her. We had a ground floor room in the Plus side. Very few steps as they have small ramps around the main building. Buffett was OK but food was not very warm. The restaurants were excellent. I especially enjoyed the Spanish and French restaurants.
