Lovely resort with lots to do

The grounds are well kept and the views are amazing. The ocean is a beautiful turquoise colour with darker areas and white waves. Mesmerizing! People are friendly, food is good and the golf is convenient being right next door. A great place to vacation!

Great golf getaway!

If you like to golf you will enjoy. I had a great time golfing everyday but must book early tee times as is seems to get very disorganized and slow by late morning. Wasn't fond of the 2 single beds pushed together. I paid extra for ocean view but from what I could tell all rooms had pretty much ocean view ( ocean on both sides of the resort ) beach side and golf course side which also had the ocean view.

Fun resort!

Great area! Beach & ocean were beautiful. The beach entertainment was very fun. Bartenders and cleaners were very nice. I would definitely return to this resort. The golf course was amazing. Well taken care of and a beautiful site.

GREAT!

I was here for my friends Wedding. It was just a short trip but I would for sure go back to this resort. Staff was friendly, the food was good and the resort was beautiful. Would go back here in a heartbeat!

Remember - it's Cuba.

Beach was great. Weather was great. Place was clean. But it is Cuba, so food was average - very bland and juice watered down. Fruit not as flavourful as you hope in Caribbean. Supplies run low. For Cuba, a great place, but I'd go somewhere else in Caribbean next time.

Great resort and good service!

We were returned customers and were very happy to be back and see lots of improvements in this nice hotel. There were lots of sun bads with extra matresses, new patio and bar chairs, newer beach towels and good quality of food and drinks. The golf tournament was something new we experienced, it was well organized and we would definitely consider to come back again next year. Melia Las Americas

Visited this Melia Hotel for 2 weeks in 2012 .Everithing was fine so after 2 years we decided to play their Melia Golf Tournament and stay for another 10 days. Pleasantly surprised by the improvements to the hotel. Service, food and superior entertainment. The new General Manager Mr. Meyer takes care of everyone and everything. Highly recommended for a Cuban adults only hotel..a specially if you are a golfer. The beach is the best in Varadero and only 50 yards from the hotel lobby.

Best resort in Varadero

This was our 5th time to Varadero and best ever. Varadero is always great because the beach is great, the golf is great and the people are great but what made this the best for us was the food. Best food we have ever had in Cuba. This will be our resort of choice whenever we go to Cuba. If I had to pick one issue it would be the bed. Very hard. Not uncomfortable but hard to sleep on for a week. Next time I'll be sure to get a massage or two

Amazing Vacation.... Great Resort

What a great place to vacation! The people are great! The service was amazing. The food was delicious! The rooms were very well kept and maintained! The beach was beautiful! This hotel is at the end of the peninsula. It's not on the 20 km stretch of beach, but it's on a beautiful beach shared by only 3 hotels. Truly a Cuban 5 star! :-)

Fabulous resort

This resort was absolutely beautiful. It is clean, the staff is amazing and very friendly, beautiful beach, workout room, numerous pools. The food was catered to Canadians, salad bar, fresh fish everyday, fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend this place.

Really enjoyable vacation

Astonishing view on sea from lobby hotel,and patio with coffee tables just to see this amazing view...very nice staff, excellent food and a la care restaurants. Every night in lobby pianists play nice music ,show in theater,and string quartet music in a la carte restaurants.

Amazing resort!

Spectacular views, so relaxing, always feel like I am at home! Clean rooms and amenities in very good conditions. Amazing Resort

My daughter and I just spend a week at Melia Las Americas and we couldn't have been treated any better. The hotel is fabulous, the food great and the service exceptional. We were treated like queens :).

Amazing Resort, well kept and staff are wonderful

The hotel is the best, room are great, the food is excellent, staff always there to help you. The grounds are well kept. Would stay there again. This is not my 1st time. Lots of things to do without leaving the resort

Great for Golfers

The resort was right next to its golf course, so golf can become part of the package, which interested us. The accommodations were excellent and the food quite good. Service ranged from excellent to strictly average. Would we go back? Possibly, but the biggest drawback is not the resort, but Cuba. The bureaucracy at the airport, among other places, was incredible.

Amazing Resort

Food, Entertainment and Services was fantastic. The beach was very clean and the bartendar's always had a smile, singing, dancing and truly made us laugh each time. The maintenance staff responded quickly and professionally. Housekeeping and grounds keepers definitely did a fantastic job as well, always fresh and clean.

GREAT PLACE

Everything for us is perfect--that's why we keep going back--7 times! This is an adults only resort and the beach is only a walk down a wide, easy, wooden staircase directly from the hotel. The staff is very good to us, but then again we have a great respect and treat all humans with dignity.

Wonderful resort!

Rooms were lovely, food was great by Cuban standards. Beaches and grounds were beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was next door to a great golf course. Perfect! We would go back for sure.

Beautiful Melia Golf Resort

Great golf course and awesome beach at a 5 star resort and with five star service - can't beat that! We look forward to our next visit - it can't come too soon! We will be back to sample the many great activities available to anyone lucky enough to stay with Melia Las Americas!
