Savannah Beach Hotel: Absolutely great resort with personable staff.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Savannah Beach Hotel. Smaller resort which made it easier to become more aquatinted with their awesome group of people whom made our stay memorable. From housekeeping to management, we could always start our day with smiles. Although we hadn't dined A La Carte, the daily buffet never let us down. Good food and lots of variety. Great bartenders!! The pool and lazy river was a great area to relax. The hotel's location on the Island made it extremely easy to travel by cab or city bus anywhere. Felt very safe.

Starfish Discovery Bay: Good value

Discovery Bay is in one of the nicest locations on the island,nice beach, close to shopping, but needs some refurbishment. there is talk of renos, but no idea when that will be done. Definitely worth the cost, meals were good but not a huge variety. Deeper pool and new beds would be the first concern. The staff were very good and always pleasant. the resort is frequented by many British repeat clients.

Starfish Discovery Bay: Very Comfortable and Friendly Resort

The room was great, we ended up getting an Ocean View room instead of the Garden View room we were expecting. Over all the food was good and fresh, on Sunday they have a special lunch buffet with more choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with air conditioning that I believe was our own fault, Paul the maintenance man was right on it and fixed it right away, with a smile. Rostrevor Apartment Hotel: Love it here

Lovely clean rooms all with a view of the sea and a little kitchenette for privacy and convenience... The staff is friendly, thorough and kind... The only draw back this time is a thumping casino and karaoke bar across the street which doesn't stop until 3:00-3:30 am every night... If you are a night hawk then you will be fine...

The Club Barbados Resort: The Club Barbados

Vey comfortable, particularly grateful for the no children policy. The grounds were very attractive and well maintained. My room was particularly large. The food and service were excellent. I enjoyed the shallow water fitness class as well as the use of the exercise room, had a massage and a facial. All in all I returned home refreshed and rested.

Hilton Barbados: Perfect Vacation!

The hotel was amazing! Clean facility and comfortable beds. The beach was great for kids and the waves weren't too high. The service and all staff were very friendly and aimed to please. Definitely will go back to this resort again.

Coconut Court: Relaxing holiday at Coconut Court

We loved the convenience of having a kitchenette in our room so we could enjoy a leisurely breakfast looking out at the beautiful Caribbean Sea from the balcony of our Ocean View Studio room. The accommodations were basic, but comfortable and exceptionally clean. The service in the restaurant and bars was fast, efficient and food options varied. Pool and deck were always clean and there was never trouble finding somewhere to sit. Movies on the beach with popcorn was loads of fun! Starfish Discovery Bay: Beautiful Resort

Discovery Bay, Barbados is a small, low-key Resort with ocean frontage and lovely gardens. The staff aim to please and keep the hotel clean and well-run. The food is good and while not copious in selections is tasty and abundant. The location is perfect within walking distance to Holetown with a convenient bus stop. Our room #2 was large and had a commanding view of the property. Great vacation and great value!! This one is not for the party set.

Almond Beach Resort: Amazing resort

It was a wonderful atmosphere beautifully decorated. The people were friendly and went to lengths to be helpful, Good choices of food daily and the service was amazing. Conveniently located in beautiful grounds. The grounds and beach was fantastic. The room was conveniently located overlooking the beach. The organized tours were enjoyable. It was a fun place with good entertainment in a relaxing atmosphere. The transportation service to the hotel and airport was pleasant. It was lovely to have a car for 2.for the tours when no one else booked. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. It was really enjoyable. It was good to have lifeguards daily on the beach. I would suggest having more water sports such as jet skies, floaters, and boat rides. It's a shame it will be taken over by another company .

Sandals Barbados: Didn't want to leave!

This was our first vacation and we were not disappointed. Highlights were snorkeling with turtles, the perfect beach with palm trees, catamaran, volleyball, Butch's steakhouse. We went snorkeling with the turtles twice as it was free. We paid to go to the caves/animal sanctuary - not worth it at all as they package the boring caves with the animal sanctuary and we missed the 2pm feeding. Sugar Bay Barbados: Small but PERFECT!

The hotel was fabulous! I knew from the previous reviews that it was a nice place but it certainly met all of our expectations and some. We had someone at the airport waiting for us holding a sign with our names on it. Check in was quick and the room was spacious and clean. We arrived late but was able to get dinner and the theme was French and we had an amazing meal. It set the stage for a great week! The staff were so very friendly and accommodating. Discovered the BBC which is Baileys, banana and coconut. To die for! The beach...oh the beach...what can I say - I do not typically swim in the ocean for fear of jellyfish but it was crystal clear and absolutely breath taking. I swam regularly every day and only went to the pool later in the day. There was always a chair to be had and you need only ask the staff and an umbrella is brought to you. We would walk the beach until you met with the boardwalk and continued as far as we could go. A great start to a day. Loved loved this place!

Sandals Barbados: Sandals Barbados - Avoid for at least a Year

Stayed Dec 2 to Dec 9, 2016 Air Canada flight Two funny moments. First we were told to leave our seats belts on during the flight, just in case! (Never heard that one before) Second, they sprayed pesticides in the plane just before we landed. Very odd, they said it was safe... Arrival Arrival at the airport we were greeted and offered a bottle of water. Then we were picked up by a taxi that was a Mercedes, nice touch, since we were late leaving the airport. Once we arrived at the hote [... read more]l, a cold towel was brought to us immediately, a song that greeted us to the island and hotel and we checked in. At check in, which was by iPad, we were offered a glass of champagne. We were given a tour of the hotel, it's small so it didn't take long, and then shown to our room. Smoking There are designated smoking areas and no smoking on balconies or a $250 fee will be applied to your room. We were also told not to buy smokes at duty free at Pearson as we would be subject to duty in Barbados. There is a market just outside the hotel you can walk to if you don't want to pay $12USD for Marlboros at the hotel shop. When it rains there is no covered space so just don't smoke. Room There is construction at the hotel either sandals or next door so the view we had was of construction. We booked a honeymoon premium room, the front desk said that doesn't exist and that they upgraded our room.....it was with a view of construction this isn't an upgrade for me. Annette said she would follow up but she never did, very disappointing and she almost seemed to be avoiding us. Room 2401, our room was close to everything as the hotel is small. The room has all the amenities you would want including USB ports for your devices. Unlike the Sandals in Exuma, they do not provide robes, slippers or even the nice pen to make notes with. You can have a robe upon request, but that's it! Room service is non existent. No beach towels in our room upon arrival. Maid service is decent however we had to call for things like tissues, even though it was apparent that the box was empty. Also, you can tell mirrors were not being cleaned daily, as at one point I had to wipe the mirror as it was dusty. Since we were on the 4th floor, when it rained, there is no roof, so we couldn't go outside and there are not too many inside options, like lounges. Noise There was a constant noise at night not sure if it's birds or crickets. It gets very loud and annoying. Since the hotel is so close to the airport, the sound of planes is what you can expect to hear on the beach. At least 8 per day. Also on the beach and in our room, was the constant construction noise, hammering, drilling, banging and not just during the week, weekends too....Since they are still putting up walls, this looks like it will only be done in a year, save your sanity and book a year from now, I certainly would not have booked had I known this was going on. The front desk apologized but said the travel agents should state if there is construction. I do not recall our booking agent letting us know, so here's a warning. Food There are many choices for food and variety. At the beach restaurant you have to get your own drink, at least we were told we did and the food came cold. The second time trying it was better, food was decent and cooked to serve. The restaurants all provide great meals. However, service is very slow, more then once food came cold or undercooked. Service is spotty at some places. At breakfast, my husband asked for ketchup and the server just left before he finished speaking, he was also trying to ask for more water for my tea. There are two restaurants to book, Butch's if you like steak, they cook it wonderfully and we found the best service there. The other is Japanese and they make a huge production out of it which is a fun night out. Beach The beach is public so expect people to come to you offering tours, $200 USD for a couple for 4 hours to tour the island, maybe book before you get here like on Expedia. There are also peddlers for other smoking varieties....not comfortable but if you say no they leave you alone right away. The beach itself in front of sandals is the largest of all the resorts around, wide and spacious. A few other hotels near us had very limited beach space, one was Elegant hotels and I don't know the other. If it's not beach, it's huge rock walls that form the coastline. There are plenty of chairs but you do have people setting up their towels early morning for the covered spots. Towels are available at different spots around the hotel. There is no good snorkelling at the beach unless you head for the rocks just out in front of the beach but not that much to see, a few schools of fish. There is spotty service on the beach for drinks but they also leave coolers out with sodas, water and beer for everyone, by the volleyball court. There are daily activities, volleyball, pool volleyball, billards and other group games, they staff get really into it, makes it fun. Overall, not the greatest impression of a Sandals, just based on the last one we stayed at in Exuma. It has made me reconsider the sandals chain. I'd appreciate not being contacted by sandals barbados as we made our concerns known at the beginning of our trip and since no effort was made to make any reparations while we were there, it would not be helpful at this point. Barbados Beach Club: Beautiful clean resort

I do not normally write reviews, but I just had to since there were so many negative reviews on the BBC. My husband and I went for 9 days and were skeptical, but were pleasantly surprised once we arrived. The rooms are clean with amazing views of the beach and sunset. The food was plentiful, the staff are friendly, helpful and always willing to whatever they can to make your vacation enjoyable. Amazing beach! We had a wonderful time, met some amazing people and will go back to this resort whenever we go to Barbados.

Almond Beach Resort: Almonds resort

Just got back from the Almond beach resort. The hotel was a little old but overall it was a nice hotel, good food and beautiful beach. They also have excursions included. Was a very nice time. Tripcentral did a great job with the reservation

Bougainvillea Beach Resort: Amazing place to spend a week

The hotel was beautiful the junior suite was fantastic.the beach was amazing. Infinity on the Beach: Good average resort

Resort is very nice, we had some issues with our first room which were taken care of promptly as they moved us to a new room. We find Barbados just be very expensive especially since everything relates back to the US dollar. The staff at Infiniti are all very helpful and friendly and attentive to any issues you have. Although we never ate there we did notice that their menu is fairly in line with other restaurants we ate at there. They have A nice bar by the beach as well with a reasonable pri [... read more]ce drinks especially at happy hour, which is from 12 till one and five till six daily. The only recommendation that I have is that they put some decent coffee in the filter to provide a couple of daily cups, rather than packaged instant and powdered creamer's.

Coconut Court: Decent but dated resort

This resort is a decent low cost hotel. Some rooms have been updated but others haven't been. There is a good beach with a good swimming area and a rather small pool. We had no wifi for our week there and they maintain that it is under construction. It has been this way for more than two months at least. This was a serious downer for us as we wished to remain connected with our family. there were two computers in the lobby available to guests when they were working .

Almond Beach Resort: Overall a nice resort with a few inconveniences

Nice place, nice beach but watch out for the rocks and coral if you plan on swimming. If you snorkel the rocks and coral are a small trade off for the amount of fish you will see. The snorkeling is awesome. The food is pretty good but only certain restaurants are open during certain times so you are forced to go to them. There are NO 24 hour snacks available and the Hotel DOES NOT restock your fridge with ANYTHING after the 1st day. You are literally forced to buy groceries if you want anyth [... read more]ing to eat or drink after 10:30pm. The Island & Jeep tours are great, glass bottom boat and swimming with the turtles are hit and miss. We had the turtles & glass bottom boat tours cancelled 3 times due to weather, not the hotel's fault BUT NOT TELLING US even though we had asked them to 3 times..yeah.. Totally their fault. Entertainment is hit and miss as well. Mainly, Duos or trios with Karaoke tracks. However there is not a lot of Caribbean type of Music. Lastly, for those who care. The staff members are either really nice or real pricks..not much in between. Outside the Resort the people are nice and you should feel 100% safe walking to get your groceries or taking the buses anywhere one of the best conveniences in Barbados. Knowing the inconveniences hopefully will help prepare you.

Turtle Beach Barbados a Tribute Port: One of a kind resort

Most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at in the Carribeans!! From the welcoming staff to the beautiful beaches this was an amazing experience. Would definitely return here for multiple future vacations!

The Club Barbados Resort: Lots of R and R!

The Club Barbados is the place to go if you are looking to rejuvenate and relax. The facility is well maintained and the grounds itself is beautiful. I love the intimate small resort setting which allows you to meet people and also incorporate romance with your partner. The people that are employed at The Club are exceptional and they make you feel special from the moment you arrive. The only draw back for us would have to be the entertainment.
