Absolutely wonderful

The hotel was beautifully decorated.Very modern. The room was equally as nice. Our king size bed and the bedding was rich and luxurious.The buffet was the best.We ate our breakfast there daily.The beach was so beautiful,but we spent most of our time at the pool where we met so many new couples and enjoyed their company.Our dinners were to die for.Never before have we had meals that we completely enjoyed.The waitresses and waiters were so very attentive that I still miss their pampering.Our maid  [... read more]was Ruth was also so good to us and so efficient.We absolutely enjoyed our vacation!!

Amazing resort!!!

Big resort but never felt overcrowded. Beautiful resort. Everything was clean and modern. Lots of great a la carte's to choose from. Food was amazing. Always was able to find a chair either by the pool or the beach. The staff were great and very friendly. I would definitely return!!!

Bahia ambar

We loved this hotel, we had a swim up room. It was beautiful. Big rooms, although lack of hooks to hang towels. Close to pool beach, coffee shop and most restaurants. There are actually seven resorts and you can use all except Fantasia. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Food depends on your taste but you can always find something. Always can get anything you need from butler service. We loved being able to walk out terrace into pool. Only 8 rooms share the pool in front of your room [... read more]. We did get a few mosquito bites so beware if you are pregnant. There is a lot included at this resort. People are great, friendly. All recently renovated in ambar. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing place, so much to do! A week in paradise!!!!!

Was totally amazing, Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, Food was amazing at the Buffet, MEAT restaurant was great, Not happy with the Japanese Tappenyaki @ Bavaro,No show,no flames, no flare, all he did was cook, food was ok but going to a Japanese restaurant is all about the experience, there was none ! I could go to any restaurant and sit in the kitchen and watch them cook. But that was the only complaint I had, The rest was fantastic, We went on the Just Safari Jeep tour,Horse ridin [... read more]g, zip lining,Lunch on the beach, all included in one tour. It was memorable!! Amazing vacation

They did an amazing job at remodeling the resort The grounds are beautiful as well as the rooms. I liked the fact that beach area was for Ambar clients only Food at a la carte restaurants was delicious. Staff was friendly as usual Would definitely return

Fantastic Resort

This resort has recently been updated and is very beautiful. It was beautiful before the renovation but now the rooms are Amazing. The food at the buffet is so good you don’t even need to eat at the A la carte if you don’t want to. The steak at their new Steakhouse called MEAT was just as good as steak at a Steakhouse in Canada. Absolutely Beautiful Resort

This resort is everything you could want on your vacation. Beach was beautiful, pool lots of fun and buffet and a la cartes were top notch. No complaints at all... everything was amazing!!! Resort is very clean and grounds are well kept. Looking for your dream vacation book the Ambar

Amazing resort!

We have been to Punta Cana many times and this resort by far was the best one yet. Everything is close and within walking distance - pool, beach, lobby, buffet - and there are trolleys going constantly if you want to go to the other resorts or a la cartes. Staff are extremely friendly and are genuinely happy to help. We will definitely be returning next year.

Beautiful Resort

Loved this resort, so much to do, beautiful grounds, food was amazing. Loved the adult only Ambar, we were completely spoiled by the staff. The beach is the best part, but can't complained about a thing. We would definitely go back!

Beautiful Resort!

Just back from a 1 week vacation with my husband and 2 adult children and we had a great stay at the Bahia Ambar! The grounds were kept well, the service unbelievable, the Food options the best we have ever had at any resort! The rooms were a perfect size with lots of space! Would highly recommend

Living like a king and queen

Honestly... This place is heaven. Great staff excellent food at most a or carts, the ambar was steps away from beach and the atmosphere was nothing short of excellence! Everything we expected and more!

Just what we ordered

Spent a week here this April (8th to 15th) . While I would not call it 5 star , I cannot really say anything bad about the resort . Would love to see the buffet (lunch) change it up a bit , way to many things the same every day . We went to have a quiet week , just to chill and enjoy our space & time . Other than the usual stuff , saving chairs for hours , and crying about it when they are not still there when they come back . Food was good , service was good . Room , beach , pool , all good .  [... read more]I cannot name just 1 or 2 staff , they all work they tails off . Anyone who wants to complain , I say go work there !!!!!! Nope , was an excellent week . Met some amazing people , and got the rest we were looking for .

Fantastic resort

The Ambar at the bahia principe Dominican Republic is a great resort.The rooms are newly renovated and are beautiful.The maid service always had our mini fridge stocked and did a fantastic job cleaning our room.We spent a great deal of time at the pool and met a wonderful server Daritza.Daritza was friendly,always had a smile on her face and took very good care of us.The buffet breakfast and lunch were always good and we also enjoyed all of our a la cartes.The only thing I would recommend if y [... read more]ou go e mail the resort 2-3 weeks ahead of time to get the a la cartes you want .Overall we had a fantastic week.

Beautiful Resort With Great Staff

We loved our 1 week stay at this resort. Rooms,Pools were very clean and landscaping was maintained perfectly. All staff and bartenders were the friendliest I have experienced at any resort I have been to. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Great resort

From food to staff (especially Daritza by the pool)to everything you want, Ambar was fantastic! Great times 👍 First time we stayed at an all adult resort and we loved it! The rooms were awesome and the whole staff made our stay easy! We will definitely go back👍

Absolutely the Best Resort in Punta Cana

We picked this resort as we stayed there two years ago and loved it. I really was blown away with the newly renovated rooms. The new coffee shop, sports bar, and updated restaurants were amazing. We highly recommend this resort. We will be returning next year.

Superb 5 star resort

The grounds were well kept and the room was imaculate. The service was impeccable. The À la Carte restaurants had exquisite service and the same applied to the buffet which had a different theme every night. All the drinks listed on the all inclusive list were readily available.

Perfect resort

I have nothing negative to say about this resort ... everything was perfect. The service of the staff was above all expectations. they were so friendly and accommodating. Clean and the food was great

Overall great resort.

Nice that it’s only half an hour from the airport. Air transit employees were very helpfull even on the return when the flight was delayed 2 hours. Resort was fantastic and recently renovated. The swim up pool room we had was a nice feature at the end of a long day at the beach. Food was overall very good but disappointing that ther were no gluten free options as I have celiac. Mayan Rivera asked at each restaurant about food allergies, but this place was not as aware it seemed. Beach was ver [... read more]y crowded and difficult to get lounge chairs up close unless you get up at 6 in the morning to reserve with belongings as others do. The resort was very neat and clean and the staff were all very good.

Beautiful 5 Star Hotel

This hotel is fabulous. Beautiful swim up room topped it off for us. Everything is kept so clean and the service is exceptional. Would definitely revisit. The pools and ocean is a paradise. Entertainment most nights was really good. Plenty of options for food at buffet or specialty restaurants.
