Virgin Hotels Las Vegas: Beautiful hotel but the rooms were dated.

Beautiful hotel but missing a few nice-to-have amenities in the room such as a coffee maker and fridge. Not a great walk to the strip or back at night because you were walking thru a dimly lit, deserted street / construction area.

Flamingo Las Vegas: Great location, mediocre resort

The Flamingo Las Vegas was a comfortable enough hotel, but certainly not somewhere we wanted to spend a lot of time. The rooms are updated, but the beds are hard and there was mould in the caulking around the shower. We were not given the room we booked when we checked in, so we ended up changing rooms on our second day. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. Also upon checking in (at 7:00pm) we were harassed by staff wanting to sign us up for a tourism presentation that would give us ticket [... read more]s to a show. We were exhausted and just wanted to get settled. However, we did sign up. It was sold to us as a presentation over a nice breakfast - 2 hours maximum. The next day we went to the presentation and it turned out to be almost four hours and it was a high pressure sales tactic to get us to purchase a $20,000 timeshare. But, we did get Cirque du Soleil tickets out of it! The casino in the hotel is similar to the others. When you go to some of the other properties (the Mirage, New York, New York, the Venetian) you can see that the Flamingo has little to offer in terms of "flash". We were not there when the pools were open, so perhaps if that section of the resort had been open (we were there in January), it might have had a greater impact. We also had to pay the full resort fee of $40 a day even though the pools were closed. We had a very bad experience in the casino as my purse was stolen. That could happen anywhere. How it reflected on the Flamingo was how poorly the staff responded. I was very disappointed in their lack of care and concern for an event that basically ruined our vacation. It took calls from our travel agent to the hotel for any kind of gesture to be made to try and improve our trip. Overall, if you are just looking for a place to sleep and it's a cheap option, it's not terrible.

The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort: Top 3 Hotel Resort in Las Vegas

From Check-In to Check-Out my experience at The Palazzo was nothing short of incredible. The vibe, atmosphere and hospitality is among the best in Vegas. The room was absolutely awesome - luxurious, classy, huge and super clean. I stayed in a Luxury King Suite 49th Floor Strip View and it will be my go to choice every time I visit Nevada. Both the Front Desk staff (Eric) and Concierge (Falcon) went above and beyond to really make my stay better. Flamingo Las Vegas: Probably wont go back there

Honestly a lot of little things i didnt like. Staff wasnt too frendly or helpful. They charged 35US a night for resort fees PLUS a fifty dollar a night deposit (at least we get that back). It Smelled terrible.

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas: Amazing Hotel!!

Although they messed up during checkin, this hotel is amazing. Very quiet as it’s away from the strip. Everything is super clean. Definitely cannot wait to come back after their renovations. Thanks!!!!!

The Linq Hotel: Amazing resort!

I highly recommend this hotel! Rooms are very nice, big and the beds and pillows are great! Amazing view of the high roller & the staff are very nice. Uber pick ups are quick but also everything is walking distance.

The Linq Hotel: It was your standard hotel

My window view faced a stairwell....arrrrgh! Great casino...very busy, lots of people - awesome! My only wish is that the casino had a poker room. The food was great and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

The Linq Hotel: First Time in Vegas!

From check-in to check-out, this was an amazing venue. The Linq is at the center of it all on the strip. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who is unsure of where to stay in Las Vegas. Loved it!

Mandalay Bay: Great hotel

The Mandalay Bay seemed not as crowded and a better quality hotel than others in the south strip area. Very clean and well maintained with everything you need for a great break away. We went to see a concert in the House of Blues, located in the hotel. Check in and out was easy, and the room was great. It was easy to get around either walking through the shops to the next hotel or catching the free tram a little further to enjoy other hotels and entertainment. Close to the airport.

MGM Grand: Great Resort

The hotel was clean and, liked the layout, the little shopping mall attached, the pool area was fantastic since we came from snow and minus temperatures. Losers was a cool bar, Wolfgang Puck was delicious! But our waiter was clueless when we told him not to swipe our Canadian credit card as they are chipped. Sadly he did and then we had to call Visa as it was flagged :( Being able to rent a car there was a bonus and painless.

New York New York: New York New York!

Resort and Casino was great! Hotel location excellent right in the middle of the strip. Lots of great New York style restaurants to chose from. Service was fabulous. Would definitely recommend to everyone wanting to visit Las Vegas.

New York New York: Excellent Hotel!

Easy to get around, service was great and lots of options for dining. Located in the middle of the Las Vegas strip so that makes it easy to get to other hotels. New York New York has lots of great shows as well.. oh and ride the rollercoaster!

Aria Resort: Great resort. I would give it 5 stars!

We had a wonderful time. Very friendly and polite staff. We couldn't use a pool area because it was too cold. We love Aria Café. I would recommend this is resort to all my friends and if I will visit Las Vegas for sure I will stay here again. Thanks!

Paris Las Vegas: Amazing resort

Very nice, clean, beautifully designed and very good food. We enjoyed our time and we will be back again. The casino is a smoking area but it is clean and safe. The room view is amazing and we will recommend to everyone

MGM Grand: Just Okay

The MGM Grand hotel/casino was very busy with tourists throughout the week we were there, it was quite noisy. When we checked in they gave us an upgrade in room, but the room was not much better as it was on the main floor and the room window was facing the service entrance so we heard delivery carts coming in early in the morning. Planet Hollywood Resort: Never Again.

We stayed as a couple from Dec. 15-20, 2019; we had an “Ultra Hip King” non-smoking room. For all of the issues encountered, we were given by the hotel (begrudgingly) food/beverage credit & waived 2 nights of resort fees. PROS: - Location on the strip is superb. - Zappos theatre is excellent. CONS: - Rooms smell like smoke, even on non-smoking floors. - A/C system makes loud, jarring noises throughout the night. - Zero soundproofing. - Dirty bathrooms (see photos) & bedsheet [... read more]s. - Rooms lack maintenance – dressers are missing corners & wallpaper is peeling. - Shower water pressure is either so strong it rips into your face, or so weak it just sputters. We had the privilege of experiencing both due to a room switch. - Toiletries are all made in China & do not list ingredients. My partner’s skin got itchy while my eczema flared up exponentially. If you forgot to bring your own, there’s a Body Shop right inside the Miracle Mile. The Fuji Green Tea liquid body wash is mild enough that I was able to use it. You’re welcome. - Each room allows 2 devices to be connected to the (extremely spotty) wifi. - Evening staff are seriously rude over the phone. - The Heart Bar has terrible drinks. So watered down. - You get PESTERED to tour timeshare properties (in return for show tickets/vouchers). We asked for directions to the North Elevators & instead got ushered over to a different casino staff member to give us a “welcome gift”. After a couple of mins., it was clear that this was a hard sell. She was aggressive, ignored our “no thank you”, & tried to prevent us from leaving. - Mandatory extra hotel fee of $42 USD/night, when there is NO POOL IN WINTER MONTHS, UNCLEAN ROOMS, & VERY UNSTABLE WIFI. SPECIFIC NEGATIVE FEEDBACK: - The night of check-in, we found the bathtub had hair from previous guests (see photos). At first I tried to splash water on it to rinse it away but then I thought - why should I be doing that? We called front desk for a room change & was told that this can’t be done over the phone, so we went downstairs. There, we were told that room changes aren't done until 2 pm the next day. We got dressed & went downstairs FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. Housekeeping came up & cleaned the tub. We switched rooms the next day. - In the evening, we realized we could hear every single conversation & motion (think walking & feet shuffling) from the adjacent room. We called down to front desk, stressing that it wasn’t loud – the issue is zero soundproofing. Security was sent up & the neighbours were asked to keep it down. After some astonished reactions (yeah, I would be too), they literally just stopped talking. That works, I guess. - The wifi stopped working on the 3rd night. I did the standard troubleshooting on my own first, but that didn’t work. I called down to front desk where they reset the connection remotely, but still nothing. Got transferred to speak with their IT company rep. After the exact same troubleshooting, got transferred back to front desk again. Ultimately, front desk staff said they'd send a technician. It'd be “only a few minutes” as the technician had to “walk from one end of the property to the other end where [our] room is”. Newsflash, that didn't happen. 20+ mins. later I called down again & was told that he was dispatched. 20+ more mins. later, I called down & was told it was a 3rd party issue & “not PH's fault”. Glad you guys found the root cause, but why did nobody contact me advising me to STOP WAITING? I wasted a full hour, fully dressed & doing nothing but waiting for this guy to show up when I could have gone to bed! - On our 4th morning, I woke up to red rashes/bumps on my arms & partially on my face. These are not my typical eczema flareups, but an allergic reaction to something on the sheets. I called front desk & requested specifically that housekeeping needs to change the sheets & I even mentioned my developing rashes. After an apology, front desk guaranteed it would be done. Surprise, it was certainly NOT changed.

Mirage: Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Mirage. Rooms are updated and clean. Easy elevator access. Beautiful lobby gardens. Not as big as some of the other hotels in the strip in terms of size of casino but didn't bother us. Gave us easy access to other places on strip and the transit. I recommend going to box office for show tickets as you will get better deal on better seats than the kiosks on the strip. Well worth it. The Beatles Love show is amazing!!! Restaurants are a bit pricey so be careful.

MGM Grand: It was an okay resort

Too expensive to eat, the first four nights were not an upgrade, our last three nights were good as we had to move rooms due to water leak in the roof...location was good...gaming was okay...I would stay there again the price was right...

MGM Grand: The hotel wasn’t the best

We where told we had a upgrade our room looked out onto a wall of generators. The buffet was hugely expensive. The bath tub had rust on the surrounding area. This was considered an upgrade? The bar took for ever to get a cocktail the lines to check in where long. We don’t think we will ever be back

Treasure Island: Fantastic resort

Our stay at TI was fantastic from the minute we booked through tripcentral with Robyn. They have an amazing casino and staff very welcoming. Short walk to everywhere and very clean hotel walking distance to shopping and other hotels in the area and bus stops
