Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Most wonderful Holiday!

The amenities in the hotel are fabulous and the robes and slippers included in the room are a nice touch. The restaurants were amazing and such wonderful meals. The buffet was not the best but always could find something to eat. Weather was amazing and everyone was very friendly. Loved this vacation!

We l9ved this resirt!! it is our favorite all inclusive ever. The rooms were clean and beatigul. wonderful view with large balcony.the food was delicious,drinks were grest, service was amazing. the activities included were top notch and the area and resort felt very safe.

Hotel Emporio Ixtapa: Great location

This hotel is a bit dated but would recommend it highly. The location is perfect; a bus stop right out front and numerous shops and restaurants right across the road. The food was mostly Mexican and was always fresh and delicious. Standard resort breakfast. They charge extra for coffee in the rooms, but water, pop and beer are refilled at no charge every day. The staff were all wonderful...very friendly and helpful. Never any problems getting a lounger in the shade at the beach. Around the pool  [... read more]wasn't as easy. The hotel is on the main beach in Ixtapa. Beautiful beach..rough surf most days. The biggest complaint would be the music. The evening entertainment was terrible.(sorry girls) and the music around the pool in the pm was awful. Rooms on the pool/ ocean side are quieter as there are clubs across the street that stay open late. All in all a great place to stay.

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Excellent service, great food, clean resort

The rooms were adequate, nothing elaborate, but spacious.Al a cartes were delicious with well mannered, attentive servers, buffet was good, all food very fresh and tasty. grounds were well kept and clean, beach was clean and although waves were large sometimes 10 or 12 foot high, many people were body surfing or boogie boarding. Some areas of beach further down were calmer for swimming. spa was amazing, I treated myself to a massage for 38 US dollars, 699 pesos. Shopping, restaurants, nightclubs [... read more] were within walking distance and you could take the city bus to Zihuateneja for 10 pesos, a gorgeous town with beautiful beaches, cafes, restaurants, lovely colourful buildings, and amazing markets.

i cant say anything bad we had a great time and will go back the rooms were very clean, the stafe were very friendly the food was good, just a great vac.I told my daughter the place was great for kids so much for them to do.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Three pools, one was adult only, with service for the bar. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean and the view is breathtaking. Wonderful, immediate service by very accommodating staff. What a fabulous vacation resort!!

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Great,Clean,friendly, resort

Oyster Bar, and the Medetranian restaurant was a five star plus, Disco great, but was only open Friday Saturday and Sunday. Grounds was well maintained . Children's water play area well thought out GREAT. Swimming area's and beach had life guards on duty all day untill Seven PM. Never been to a resort that had so many public bathrooms. And we have been traveling for over fifty years. beach hard dark sand,mud like. The grounds, pools, restaurants, and especially the room was excellent. The service we received was top notch, and the people providing the service were pleasant and very helpful. The food for the most part was very good.

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: A Terrific Vacation

I would like to start this review with a special thanks to Mernie Shields from Trip Central. She went above and beyond to find us this wonderful vacation. Ixtapa is the best place that we have been in Mexico. It is small, quaint and the beaches and mountains are spectacular. Sunscape Dorado was beautiful and clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Our room was spacious and clean and had an unbelievable view from the balcony. The resort was very good value and we would certainly go again.

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Outstanding Resort, Superb Service

I came to this resort with 8 girlfriends - the entire hotel is immaculate from the main floor, throughout the pool area and the rooms - the staff are right on top of taking care of the entire resort. All the restaurants are different with their own unique ambiance and all the staff do everything they can to make each restaurant a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience - including breakfasting out at the boardwalk with a spectacular view of Ixtapa Island. The entire staff are ready to meet the re [... read more]quests and needs of each hotel guest - this outstanding attitude towards service seems to trickle down from the Hotel Manager, Front Desk Manager, room service, pool service and all dining services provided in restaurants and main dining areas. I am a returning guest, would definitely recommend this resort to all and look forward to returning in the future.

Fontan Ixtapa: Value Priced ,Too Child Friendly

I am not a professional reviewer ,just a senior looking for a quiet week in the sun. I am disappointed with the Fontan Ixtapa. The beach and the location are great. The staff is good.The buffet is fine but the selection is limited. I understand hotels and airlines are in the business of selling space but this trip was overwhelming with the number of family's with young children and newborns.The crying and screaming was not fair to other travelers. On several occasions there was no seating at the [... read more] pools and beach area, larger groups seem to commandeer prime areas of space. The room was marginal at best, rock hard mattress, lack of sitting , chipped tiles on floors, dirty grout in the shower. This hotel needs a major renovation in the rooms. I would have a hard time recommending it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay. I would come back Ixtapa as a destination , but in a 4 or 5 star adults only.

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Stellar Resort

Loved this resort. The grounds and Pools were beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The staff were outstanding. Rooms were gorgeous and very clean. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and the management decorated each of the rooms with flowers, balloons and lovely pastry including birthday candles, 2 lovely tropical drinks, oh yes, and a book of matches. REALLY Impressive. They also had great security and lifeguards at both the beach and pools. Hats off to The Azul Ixtapa Grand!

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Perfect for families!

We had a great time with our family of four. Our kids are almost 4 and almost one. Our oldest loved the pools and the water slides. Lots of families and other kids to play with, it was great. The view from the rooms are amazing, great sunsets every night. No issues with food at all. Buffets and a la carts were both good. Staff and service were amazing all week. The poolside waiter service was a nice touch. Very short shuttle from airport to hotel was a huge plus while traveling with young ki [... read more]ds. Holiday Inn Ixtapa: Any Time

We went to the Holiday Inn Resort in Ixtapa in January 2016. The accommodations, food, and service was very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I have to tell you the price was amaizing ! We got more then when we go to other resorts that are more expensive. Very was a very nice surprise there, especially in Janury when the temperature in other parts of the Carribien are on the cooler side and rainy. The temperature was 30*C everyday, even with overcast, when you engage in all kinds o [... read more]f activities without fear that you are going to burn. We swam in ocean every day (with all the other people) , even if it was not recommended. It was fun for us to play in shallow water with wavy ocean. Tripcentral was good choice too, because they offer Air Canada. I usualy even don't check AC website. AC flies out all the time, therefore we were able to pick any date we liked. Not everybody flies on the days that are conviniet for us. Location of resort is amaizing. It is on the best part of beach. On the other side is city, more like vilige, with amaizing restorants and some nice shops.

Posada Real Ixtapa: Best resort in ixtapa

This resort is small but meticulously kept. While the rooms lack certain amenities like a mini fridge, the staff make up for most shortfalls. If you value quick and easy access to the best section of the beach then this is the resort to stay at! I have been there 4 times and have not been disappointed.

Las Brisas Ixtapa: Las Brisas real nice but not a typical resort

Great resort with sunsets every night No bars in the resort and no entertainment therefore real quiet Excellent beach but under tows Excellent service but all inclusive plan has limitations on selection

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Perfect holiday!!

Firstly the staff were sincere kind helpful and accommodating. I was impressed with room, grounds and cleanliness. The beach was incredible and well groomed. Pools clean and stunning I came home and trying to figure out how and when I can come back again.
