Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Amazing Resort, Beach, Staff, and Food - Highly Recommend

We loved our vacation! I took my 9yo son who immediately made loads of vacation friends and was living his best life between the waterpark and the beach. You get to use the Splash and the Royalton Punta Cana Resort. Its a BIG place, but the little trolley runs all the time and you never wait longer than 5min for a trolley. They're doing a great job at this resort and I absolutely recommend it.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: An Honest Review

We recently embarked on a week-long journey to Royalton Splash Punta Cana. The staff exhibited a commendable level of friendliness, and the resort maintained a satisfactory level of cleanliness. We were enticed by the concept of "sleep at one and party at two." While this notion holds some truth, we were disappointed to discover that access to the dining options at the sister resort, Royalton Punta Cana, came with an additional cost. Furthermore, we encountered challenges in securing reservations for à la carte dining, as availability was consistently limited. Despite our efforts to set alarms to access the booking app promptly, we often found ourselves unsuccessful and had to seek assistance from guest services. They were able to help us secure a reservation at the Japanese restaurant, which proved to be quite delightful. Aside from these two issues, we genuinely enjoyed our stay.

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Awesome holiday

First time in Jamaica and we had a wonderful time. Our swim up pool room was in the perfect location so as not to miss any fun. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The selection of restaurants and food was amazing. There were lots of opportunities to participate in the daily activities such as contests, dance lessons, foam pool parties. Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: I would go back.

We had a nice getaway. People helpful and friendly. Food ,not great but good. Our room and maid were good. TV reception weak. The beach was fantastic, lots of palapas and loungers. The entertainment was good in the evening. Also at the restaurants the music was very nice.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Excellent Food

I guess it’s real 5 star. Excellent food and service. All I can point out is responsibility on the part of the service staff. A few things as under:- 1. The used drink glasses/ tumblers kept lying on the poolside and in the centre where we see a tree. 2. Towels and plates left at the beach, not picked up and returned by guests by evening continued lying there. This limits availability of beach chairs for the next day morning.3. Pools not cleaned every day

We loved the resort. They keep it extremely clean, very friendly staff. The food is great. Best I've had in a all inclusive. With that blend said I don't think I'll return due to language barriers? We had what we were under the impression is the adults only and fairly quiet room overlooking the pool. WRONG lol. Our first day there we attempted a small nap in afternoon due to health issues. We tried for 4 days to have a coffee mug that fit the in room coffee machine they just kept giving us new big mugs. Finally the final night there we wanted to have room service for a romantic night in so we never ate at restaurants, and pre-booked R/S for 9PM. 9:20 came and no food so tried calling rs and it would hang up whenever I tried so called front desk asked them to call and was assured they would. Nothing we were all prepared for bed so we never ended up getting dinner that night. Only other bothersome.e thing in a otherwise amazing resort was the spa staff!! ? the hound you endlessly to purchase spa treatments! Don't matter where you are repeatedly pestering. We counted 6 times in a 3 hour time frame by same 2 people!

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

Overall in general from all the bad reviews I have read, I would definitely do this resort again. Never believe what you read till you experience them yourself. This resort was actually amazing. The beach and pools were amazing, food was delicious

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Royalton Nicaso Luxury resort and spa varadero cuba

We had many problems at the hotel, first they could not supply us with a room with 2 beds and we viewed 5 rooms and none were any better than the next.so they had to bring a cot in and set it up in the seating space. The resorts rooms are very dated with showers all rusted , patio doors very very hard to open, was not able to control air conditioner in your room set at one temperature always which during the day made it very hot, and the last day our air conditioner decided not to work. The bl [... read more]ow dryers are ancient and burnt my friends hair pieces of her hair came out. None of the bathrooms on the property other than your rooms had toilet paper , ran out of all different kinds of liquor, juices fruit, would not recommend this hotel as a luxury hotel maybe a 3star

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Alot can change in one year

Last year this resort was it the top of its game , clearly a 5 star and as such we wanted to try it again . Mistake # 1 was sunwing ...wow get it together folks , silly delays going down , silly delays coming back , in fact on the way back every single sunwing flight back was delayed verses every other carrier flying out of cancun. As far as royalton diamond club Hideaway goes , they really need to emphasize Diamond club on their staff again . Did not receive our bottle of premium spirits , did not receive our diamond club bag , every day we had to hound staff to properly re-stock our room. Room service was a 45 minute plus wait and the hot tea arrived....cold. Resort is in bad need of maintenance everywhere , paint falling off , concrete cracked all over , missing tiles on the pool bottom. We tried to stick to the resort , in particular after folks took a cab to the 5th avenue market and were subsequently pulled over by police and shaken down for cash... So naturally that killed our rental car ambitions. The quality of food has suffered since last year but was still " ok" just not 5 star. Our butler Valeria tried her best but I suspect she is being let down by her penny pinching management. We made the best of it , enjoyed the hot weather , but next year we will be looking at true 5 star / and true Diamond club resorts

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: All good, except for check-in

Very nice property with friendly staff, excellent amenities and good food. Overall, I would recommend it. The biggest disappointment was that it took more than 2 hours to check-in; which was very frustrating considering we paid for Diamond Club but arrived at 11:30pm. To arrive that late and not be able to get into your room until 2am is unacceptable. There were only a few groups ahead of us, but only one employee who took forever to check each group in. I will possibly go back, but only if they fix the check in process.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: great resort

you have a beautiful resort there, but the thing is there is too many steps going up into something or going down into something like by the martini bar that step that goes up there is very dangerous. I seen so many people fall there and I was one of them, unfortunately and I have the huge bruises to prove it. My hip is so sore. I would like to say I wouldn’t recommend it to seniors, but I seen younger people falling as well. Very dangerous even your staff said it was dangerous.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Nice Resort But...

The resort was beautiful, there were lots of different areas to explore. The food and drinks were generally of a high standard, we really enjoyed the food trucks dotted around the resort, the sports bar was fab and the staff were great. The beach was long, although some days there was a little seaweed it wasn't anything to keep us out of the water. There weren't any umbrellas on the beach, however, the section opposite the family areas did have shade from the palm trees. The Royalton Splash next door had an umbrella for every 2 loungers, a much better set up. We enjoyed the infinity pools as generally they were quieter and more relaxing, but again there was a lack of umbrellas. We stayed at the Hideaway, adults only section of the resort and this is where the 'BUT' comes in. There were huge groups of people that dominated the whole area, they acted as if this was there own private resort. A group of 83 Americans were there for a wedding one of which had a swimup room. Our friends had a swimup room on the same block and sadly their experience was ruined by the Americans using their balconies and partying in front of their room. The Hideaway manager did eventually find them new rooms, however, the people moving into the original rooms had to deal with the same disruption. We were disappointed that management did not address this with the large group especially due to the unsanitary condition of the pool with food floating, spilled drinks etc. I would possibly stay here again if we stayed in Diamond Club but that wasn't adults only.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Incredible stay!!

10/10. Everything was amazing. Swim out room highly recommended. Food, grounds, staff all fantastic. Lazy river such a bonus. Incredible beach always able to find a spot with help from the beach staff.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Enjoyable visit.

Friendly greeting upon arrival with a welcome drink. Our assigned butler took us on a tour and then to our room. The staff and the beach are what makes this resort. The food was decent for Cuba but very repetitious. There are no menus since they don’t know what they will have available for that day. The waitress tells you upon sitting what is available. Always eggs and bacon available although the bacon was rationed. Absolutely no jam or peanut butter. The best evening show was on Sunday  [... read more]evening with a Michael Jackson impersonator. Poolside entertainment started shortly after 3:30 and was entertaining but nothing special. Bring lots of donations for the staff i.e. clothes, shoes, toys, Tylenol, toothpaste, etc. Believe me, it’s so appreciated. They get to keep material things but all tips are shared. The entertainment staff were very warm and friendly, Yadian and Karley are the best!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great resort

The Hideaway at royalton blue waters is a great resort. The food was good and the beach spectacular. Wish there was more to do on resort like sailing or kayaking. Drinks and food were great. Entertainment was average but fun.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort! Will visit again

The resort was amazing! We loved the buffet restaurant, it bas everything you can imagine and the food was delicious. The staff worked really hard to keep the resort so clean. The beach was really nice, the sand was soft and it was quiet at the beach. The resort was a short drive from the airport. There is a water park, lazy river and other things the keep the kids entertained. The night show, especially the white night was a lot of fun! Will definitely go back!

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Royalton is Amazing

This was our third year in a row. Had an amazing vacation. We were not disappointed. We look forward to returning next year. The staff are amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was unbelievable. From the butlers, grounds people, maid services, cooks, dining room staff...all were outstanding.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Not a luxury resort

Rooms were not in great condition, were small and typical of luxury rooms. The resort grounds were well kept and clean. The food at the buffet was very good however the a la carte dinning experiences were disappointing. The food was served cold, lacked flavor and long wait times.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Disappointed

Basic room, expected room to be more luxurious. Toilet flush was very loud. No bathrobe. TV did not work. Fan made a lot of noise. Cupboards and drawers for clothes did not close properly. On several occasions found that the patio door was unlocked when I know we left it locked every time we exited the room. Resort under construction ... not all restaurants were open. One of the couches in the seating area near the "Hunter" restaurant had a pipe of 2-3 inches in height sticking out under t [... read more]he cushion, I sat on this seat not knowing what was under the cushion and received an injury to my backside. Not very pleasant. I have pictures of this pipe. The next day someone had cut it ... not removed it! Very few working umbrellas in the pool area. Loungers in the pool and beach area were old and worn, some broken. Ladies public toilet near the pool area has two stalls, one had no toilet seat. Tried to recharge my phone in the lobby area ... tried 4 different outlets before I found one that worked. Resort needs upgrades everywhere!

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Resort grounds are beautiful but staff are next level.

First we checked in just after midnight and the room that was given to us is not an ocean view which was not what we paid for, they gave me a hard time to switch rooms for the next day they tried to push to change the room after 2 days. My husband and son got severe mosquito bites and the staff did not care. Just so much attitude from front desk staff especially the women’s. The buffet ran out of shrimps 3 days in a row I finally had it with one of the staff after complaining all of a sudden shr [... read more]imps suddenly appeared. We had a family reunion party of 35+ they couldn’t accommodate us for a restaurant we had to Settled for Buffett dinner every night because the app NEVER worked. Then I finally got reservations at the Calypso restaurant 10 guest for 9pm, we didn’t getting serving plates for appetizers plus majority of the menu was not available we then ate past 10pm and while eating we see a cockroach crawling on the wall. The stuff was complaining how tired they were and wanted us out asap it literally ruined and ended our dinner. Our flight was delayed more then 6 hrs coming back to Toronto and I booked a courtesy room from 5pm-6pm and didn’t even get to use close to 5:40pm. The supervisor felt like she was doing us a favour supervisor to use the shower at the spa because the courtesy room was still being cleaned. The resort is very unorganized they tell you to speak with this supervisor and when you do she tells you something different from what the other staff has told you. Too much mixed communications being told. I got married at the Royalton in Trelawny and the were amazing but the Royalton Negril I would Never go back to nor recommend to anyone. Waste of money.
