Would recommend this resort

The hotel is beautiful, modern and very clean. The food was awesome with variety of choices for any meal. The beach was beautiful and could go for long walks if you wanted. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Reception, waiters, waitress,cooks, gardners. Even the lady that worked at the pharmacy at the hotel was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Our maid went out of her way to get anything we needed. The only thing that could improve in our opinion is they need more lighting in  [... read more]the walkways around the place at night and also the sun wing rep was never at her table during her hours You had to track her down she was usually sitting talking to the staff somewhere or The other reps from the other travel airlines would call her to let her know someone was waiting. This happen twice to me sat waiting for 1/2hr still didn’t come back. Friends of mine went to the lobby she was sitting at the bar talking to the bartender. They went and told her someone was waiting for her at her table downstairs. Other than that I would definitely go back to this resort.

Great vacation, great resort!

Our recent vacation to the Pullman, Cayo Coco was fantastic right from the start. Graham O'Neil at Trip Central was very helpful in booking our trip and kept in touch with us with any information needed etc. Upon arrival in Cayo Coco, the resort is just a short ride from the airport. Check in was quick and easy. They even offered us a cool towel to refresh while we waited. The grounds, room, restaurants, pools etc were all clean and modern. There was always something good to eat. The snack bar was my favorite, amazing burgers and fries! All in all, great vacation from start to finish. We would return to the Pullman, Cayo Coco.

Best Resort in Cuba

First what a amazing view from the lobby. The food was out standing the buffet always good. The omelet guys were always trying to steal you away the others stations. It was so funny to watch them waving you over to their station. The la cartes were very good. Thd General Manager Jean Lu Grossin always around speaking to people. He really cares that the resort is providing a good service. The entertainment crew were great. We spent alot of time at the pool. But the beach was very nice.  [... read more] Thd bar staff at all the bars were great. They were freindly and did a great service. The rooms nice and clean and modern. We will be going back. Plus we meet several people this was their second and even their third trip back. As always the Cuban people are very nice. All the employees said this resort was a very good place to work. This why we got such good service.

Large Resort

I love Cuba and the people who work there. Always greeting and smiling as we walk by. A lot of chairs by the pool and beach. Beautiful walk along the beach and not far from the hotel. The rooms are neat and clean and the service everywhere was great. I recommend it.

Pullman, Cayo Coco, Cuba

Vacation at age 73 with my family was awesome. The beach is pristine as well as all amenities. Our rooms were the same. Above and beyond were the staff. Activities for my 4 yr.old grandson were wonderful and the infinity pool was amazing. We enjoyed our meals with the staff attending every need and then some. Evening entertainment for the children was awesome. At my age, staying in my own room, I felt very safe and comfortable. Not one single complaint and would return in a heartbeat.

Had a great time at Pullman!

I would recommend the Pullman to anyone who hasn't been there yet. The entertainment during the day was great! The people are very friendly. The food wasn't awful.. for a resort in Cuba it was decent. I went with a group of people and none of us got sick. The rooms are clean, although the beds weren't that comfortable and the queen size bed is not actually a queen - they are a lot smaller. The drinks in the Lobby are the best!! They have really good coffee in the Lobby as well!! As for WiFi.. Y [... read more]ou have to pay for a WiFi card that only works in the Lobby, although the WiFi DID work in my room from time to time. I wouldn't waste your time getting WiFi unless you desperately need it because it kept cutting in and out. Overall I had a great time at the Pullman. It was my first trip to Cuba and I have no big complaints!!

Great Resort

Rooms were up to date, good and clean, great service and entertainment and great food as well. Highly recommend the a la cartes as well. We would definatley recommend this resort and Cayo Coco. Beach was amazing especially Pillar Beach 30 minutes away....the most stunning beach I've ever seen. Saunas were an added bonus to enjoy in the mornings at this resort. Only negative is that the pool water was very fresh...alittle chilly.

Good Value

We’ve travelled to AI resorts in Mayan, Cancun, Cozumel, Dominican and Jamaica and have cruised several times. We were leary about Cuba but didn’t want to spend a lot on this vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by Pullman Cayo Coco. Things we liked: one of nicest beaches we’ve been to, all staff were very friendly from gardeners to front desk to wait staff (especially Riggler and Edgar at lobby bar), layout and size, close to airport, best entertainment we’ve ever seen at an AI, din [... read more]ner buffet was excellent, inexpensive wifi, coffee bar in lobby. Dislikes: we had a late checkout but had to leave towels in room then leave a $20 deposit / towel to have a towel for the day, some mornings hard to find a clean table at breakfast buffet, bathroom didn’t seem like it was cleaned very well during the stay, windy all week (not sure if that’s normal or just a bad weather week), pool not heated and was cold. Also just an observation.... majority of guests French Canadian. Overall it was a very good experience.

Excellent resort and amazing beach!

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Most of the meals at A La Carte restaurants were very tasty. The beach was one of the best with nice white sand. There were plenty of lounge chairs on the beach for everyone!

Highly recommend

Pullman Cayo Coco is a beautiful resort, the staff super friendly, the beach = Paradise! Could use a few improvements like NO Smoking in the lobby as it's harsh for children, people with breathing problems, and those who do not wnat second hand smoke issues. No washrooms at or near the beach though the beach is only a 2 minute walk. No parties or bbqs at the beach either, sort of disappointing Food was great, could use improvements as well, more choices... Entertainment could include guests. [... read more] Wifi is a huge problem, nearly non-existent! Overall a great vacation, great resort, great people, amazing beach!

Great Resort

The hotel is ranked a 4 star but don't expect a 4 star in comparison to hotels say in Mexico. However the hotel is clean and the rooms are descant. If you go I would recommend staying in the adult side if you have no children.. Pools are nice, we mostly stayed at the beach, The beach is amazing, great for a good walk in the morning. The staff there are amazing. I haven't heard good things about the food in Cuba, I found it not bad actually. Stick to the cooking stations...eg. omelette, fish [... read more], stirfry. The only complaint I would have is the WiFi is brutal, good thing it's cheap, a peso per hour and the bars are a little slow.

Good resort

Very clean, staff always pleasant, they will do anything for you, grounds looking good considering last storm. Food acceptable many types of meat, deserts are very good. Fruit a little scarce. Great pools, beach good, quite windy on some days. The desk will not convert pesos back to Canadian. Entertainment very good. Resort minutes from the air port.

Amazing resort

We loved everything about this resort! Beauty on ever level and the food was great,we have been going to Cuba for 10 years and this by far was the best! Would go back next years.the only thing they could improve on is the 24 hours snack bar the poor guy was run off his feet the needed to have two people during the peek hours , yet even under the demands of many people waiting for their food he managed to dance and sing WOW!

This resort seemed to have recovered well considering the devastation that Hurricane Irma had caused to the other resort areas. The grounds and accommodation were fantastic, food was great (considering your personal tastes), entertainment superb, staff friendly and helpful. Weather was varied...first four days, high winds off the Atlantic with the ocean beaches "red flagged" for that time, with sun and cloud...and a storm on the Sunday. Great for the para/sailboard enthusiasts! After that [... read more], sun and temperatures to 26C & 27C. Beach absolutely gorgeous! Resort is remote from any populated commercial areas.

Great place

Although still rebounding from hurricane Irma, the staff in all parts of this resort worked extra hard to make our vacation wonderful. The property, rooms, pool and beach were immaculate. The entertainment was the best we've seen at any resorts we have been to, the food was great for Cuba. I would like to give a special Thanks to Alian at the pool he always found time to make us feel special.

Good Resort

My second visit to the Pullman, upgraded from Gardenview to Partial Ocean View, restaurants were prebooked, very nice. There was no internet access, very surprising, were told it was because we had IPhone. I paid about $65.00 just in roaming charges trying to connect. Beach was beautiful, but there was a lot of seaweed, it was finally picked up. Pool, beautiful and clean. Lots of lounge chairs and towels. In general the resort was clean, however, the bathrooms around the Grill area and pool  [... read more]were not very clean and often no toilet paper (disappointing) Rooms were beautiful and very well maintained-loved the shower! The food was good, restaurants and buffet. There was often a 15 minute wait at the various grills, service was very slow, frustrating. The main lobby and bar areas were clean, good seating, good service, excellent variety. The resort is very child friendly, and there were lots of children. If you are in the mood for quiet, relaxing or romantic resort you may not find it here. Overall, it was a good time.

Great Resort with Kite Boarding area

Pullman has very well kept grounds and beach areas. The entertainment in the theatre and also live music acts in the lobby are top of the line. I have chosen the hotel for its beach where a section allows kite boarding towards an unpopulated end. They also have a Kite School on site. The service is great, even during times when the hotel was addressing a plumbing issue in our room. They follow up to ensure the issue has been addressed properly.

This is the best resort we have been to in the whole Carribean and Mexico

My wife and I have been to almost every area in the Caribbean, about 30 odd vacations. We cannot say enough about how this resort conducted business from management right down to the lowest level of employment. Rooms were spotless, food was good (example) lobster.cavier, it was my wife's birthday during our stay and I went to book a special dinner for us when I inquired about it they had already booked everything including a cake and champagne at no cost ( they must have taken her birthdate from [... read more] her passport) activities group kept everyone involved from morning until nighttime the evening entertainment was spectacular especially the tenors who could perform in any big stage in the world. The bars were well stocked and the bar service was professionally done. The beach was outstanding white and soft sand the seaweed was removed everyday. Amazing beach. Good food at buffay and comfortable rooms. Service is also good. Restaurants are OK. Emtertainment very professional. Registration quick and easy. Great view of beach from lobby. Plan to return again.

My first time in Cuba and I don't think I could have made a better choice!

I spent an amazing week with my boyfriend early Dec. and I am so glad we picked Pullman. As usual, I read tons of reviews here and there and do my best to choose the hotel that better fits our needs. I was told Cuba does not offer good food in resorts so my expectations were low. I have to say that the food was overall pretty good. I did not get as many greens and fresh fruits asI am used to, but honestly I was really happy with the variety of dishes. The only complaint I have with regards to th [... read more]is topic is that in general, the food is warm and even sometimes too cold for my taste. So if you want to get hot meals, just head to the various on demand stations. One of our highlights, beside what everyone agrees on which is the excellence of the service is the live music. You are constantly surprised by musicians, singers, bands, etc. everywhere and several times a day. The live entertainment is without a doubt outstanding! The lobby and its bar is a great place to hang out specially before heading to dinner. The resort has several pools which by the way is not something that a lot of hotels in Cayo Coco offer. I could do laps in the larger pool without being bothered anytime in the day but maybe this is due to the fact that the resort was not fully packed. The beach is fantastic but watch out for the seashells. There are a lot so watch your step or bring your water shoes. Our room was great and upon my request, we were able to get a one bed room instead of 2 double beds. There is a fridge in the room with beers, soft drinks and a big bottle of water. They make sure to refill the fridge everyday which is very nice. Check out is at noon and since our pick up at the hotel was at 5, we paid an additional 50 Cuban pesos so it is basically 10 extra pesos per hour. If you don't want to pay, they can store your luggage and they offer a complimentary room to shower, etc. but for all the guests that are leaving at a specific time. Know that the pool bathrooms have a shower so that is another option I guess… If your flight arrives at Cayo Coco after 8 PM, know that the restaurant closes at 10 PM so you'll have to head at the 24 hours food counter. There are no sweets and they offer pizzas, fries (frozen), and sandwiches. Pretty basic stuff, not too tasty but it does the trick. We hesitated a lot before booking because we weren't sure the hotel was fully functional after Irma hurricane. This was our first time at Pullman so I have no way to compare it to what it was before… I can say though that despite some landscaping work still to be done, everything looked great. We took the little train to the shopping market nearby and it stopped at various resorts on its way. We were able to take a quick look at other facilities and again, we were very proud of our choice. The other hotels looked as if there was still a lot to do and a guest from the closest 5 stars hotel mentioned to us that only 1 of the 5 a la carte restaurant was open. Pullman had their 3 a la carte restaurants up and running! By the way, the little market is not really worth a visit unless you just want to get out of the resort for 1 hour. It is only 3 pesos per person roundtrip. There is Wifi at the lobby and you have to buy a card that lasts 1 hour and costs 1.50 pesos. You don't need to use it all at once. There is no doubt in our mind that the manager of Pullman (he is extremely present at the resort… you see him at least once a day talking to guests and his staff) and his team work really hard in making your stay as pleasant as possible. Great experience!
