Riu Reggae: Wonderful Experience

We had an amazing time. The food was fantastic the entertainment staff was incredible. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We would definitely be back. Loved everything. Our flight was good as well. Was all good

Riu Guanacaste: Amazing resort!

The hotel was great the food the people was great would definitely recommend and return my family had a wonderful time did alot of activities beach was great everyday they had a different cocktail which was delicious!

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Outstanding resort and service

The hotel is outstanding very clean and the food was amazing. The service was great and very friendly. You feel very relaxed at this hotel the atmosphere is very elegant and well kept. We did some amazing excursions horseback riding , zip lining and mud bath and hot springs. Another day we went to the animal sanctuary right beside the hotel snd ATV in the afternoon again so much fun. While we were there we did the river cruise we saw howler monkeys, crocodile,iguana, bats and many different  [... read more]kinds of birds. I highly recommend this trip.

Riu Negril: Not the best but great

Food was good but not happy with it,too much fry food.drinks amazing, wine and beer .Staff great in dining room.Housekeeping great.Ground keeping well kept also beach and bar kept clean,also security very great,overall I would give Riu Negril a A.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Beautiful Resort

The rooms are clean and modern. The food was excellent at the buffets and all 6 restaurants within the lobby area. I enjoyed the fact they offered the premium liquor and beer as opposed to the local brand ( it was available) The beach and waterfront for me was okay I would definitely go back to the Riu

Riu Palace Antillas: Fantastic stay

The hotel staff were amazing, always friendly. The beach was beautiful. The rooms could use a bit of a paint touch up, but other than that I have no complaints about anything. There was lots of variety in the restaurant options at the resort, and all the food was sooo good! My least favourite restaurant was the steak house.

Riu Vallarta: Very lovely resort...but

The reosrt was lovely but needs some renovations. Our room had a mold smell and the sofa bed was broken. They did bring up cot and had the room cleaned throughly everyday. The amenities we great abd the staff was just wonderful.

Riu Republica: Amazing resort!!!

This resort was absolutely amazing from the food to the entertainment and the staff. I definitely recommend this all inclusive adults only resort. The only one complaint that i have was that our room only was cleaned in the late afternoon. So when coming back to the room after being at the pool or beach for most of the day we didnt have clean towels. Other than that, i was satisfied.

Riu Republica: Can’t wait to go back

This was the best all inclusive I’ve ever been too and I travel a lot. Resort was clean, modern and staff very friendly. Plenty of activities to keep you busy if you want or lots of space to just relax and unwind . Loved the 24 hr sports bar so if you still wanted to stay up after the disco closed you could . Food was excellent and there were many restaurants to choose from so you didn’t eat the same thing day after day. We are already planning on our next trip back . Riu Reggae: Best vacation ever!

The resort itself is beautiful - the rooms are clean and modern, and I liked that the resort is small so everything is in close proximity. We had a "garden view" room, which was actually just a view of a roof and wall, but as someone who spends as little time in the room as possible, this didn't bother me at all. As a non-smoker, I also liked that there were designated smoking areas and you weren't surrounded by smoke constantly throughout the day. Despite what some reviews have said, we had [... read more] no problems with security or things going missing - I left my phone and money sitting at my lounge chair most of the day while I was in the pool or on the beach and at no point was I worried they would go missing. I also found it safe outside the resort - yes, there are drug dealers standing out there, but they don't bother you or try to force you to buy anything if you tell them you're not interested. The food was really good - always something to find at the buffet, and I enjoyed that they always had a Jamaican section at the buffet - so if you missed out on the amazing jerk chicken on the beach, you could still get something authentic at the buffet. We tried all of the restaurants and enjoyed them all. The nightclub on the Montego Bay side was a lot of fun - we went there a few times when we stayed on the resort at night (other nights were spent at Pier 1 and Margaritaville) … unlike the "disco" at most all-inclusive resorts, this one was actually packed every night with people dancing and having a great time. But all other great things aside, what really makes the resort is the AMAZING staff who work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is having a great time. The entertainment staff come around at 10 a.m. every day to say good morning to every guest, get people involved in playing games, and can always be seen walking around chatting with everyone. In the afternoon they're back for more fun at the pool, and then back again at night to put on an amazing show - they're all incredible performers and I was mesmerized watching them every night. A MASSIVE shout out to T-Rex (thanks for teaching me how to play dominos, and for putting up with our ridiculously horrible horseshoe skills haha), Sonic, Short Boss, Shampoo, Bru, Hollywood, and of course String Bean (first name String, last name Bean! … he has the most infectious smile and his energy is something else!) who kept us entertained all day and all night. The bar staff Vaughns, Crystal and Shaquille who kept the energy up and drinks flowing all day, and Chevoy and Stainton at night - I never had a problem getting a drink, and they always remembered my order and had them ready to go when they saw me coming. I have been to a lot of all-inclusive resorts, and have never experienced a group of people more dedicated to making sure that every single guest is having the best time possible. We had planned to go on some excursions, but were having so much fun on the resort that we didn't want to leave - the staff made the vacation for me and I can't wait to come back to see them all again soon! If you're deciding whether to stay here or not, please do - you will not regret it!!

Riu Republica: 5 stars all around!

I travelled here in September and couldn't have had a better vacation. We asked for and recieved a free upgrade to a courtyard view room where we could see the nightly theatre entertainment from our bedroom balcony (the theatre shows end by 11pm so that wasn't a noise disturbance concern for us because we slept around midnight/1am). However, we did check out the Saturday evening foam party, which was so well done with the music, a very talented saxophonist who played against top 40 instrumentals, and of course, a dance competition that was perhaps a tad inappropriate for some of the more mature crowd (50+) that makes up a large part of this resort's clientele. The food and service was impeccable throughout, minus the Italian restaurant, which served slightly overcooked/dried looking meat. It wasn't a huge issue for us, as we simply hopped over to the excellent buffet and ate there that night. The asian, spanish, and kulinarium east were our favourite specialty restaurants. The indian restaurant appetizers were excellent and the entrees were okay. We didn't get sick, in fact we had no issues with the ice, water or food anywhere on the resort. Everything is kept spotless, which is especially impressive considering this is by the beach and sand could easily and quickly build up. However, the cleaning staff is ever-present and works extremely hard to keep even the pool washrooms spotless. Please tip the wait and cleaning staff generously as they truly deserve it with the backbreaking work they do! The waterslides were a lot of fun but do be careful if you're claustrophobic or scared of steep slides. The party pool had top 40 music and there were at least 4 or 5 much larger pools that were quieter/more relaxation-oriented. We enjoyed relaxing and listening to the top 40 by the party pool, which is generally very tame and nothing crazy. However, on our second last day, a huge group of mature nudists arrived at the resort. These 50 to 60 year old women were topless at the party pool and beach and it was very random and strange for us to see. Even a lot of the men were uncomfortable, especially considering these women weren't young or attractive. We ended up leaving the party pool because it became this strange mature nudist environment, which we weren't prepared for nor interested in being around. This was the only negative but we just moved away from them and it was fine. The resort's guests are mainly couples who are middle- aged/retired or in their late 20s to 30s. If you're a group of singles looking to meet other singles, I'm not sure this is the place to do it. We went simply to relax, enjoy the beach, and eat good food, so this resort met our needs. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Riu Palace Aruba: AAmazing

This hotel , the ground, staff and entertainment was absolutely amazing. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future my husband and I thinks this trip was the best .we travel at least twice a year but this was the best location thus far. Thanks very much for your help

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Absolutely Amazing!!

Stayed here from Sept 17-25. This resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff are very friendly and can speak English which is awesome. The room was like something out of a magazine and was very clean. Only negative thing about the room was that the pillows weren’t very comfortable. Not much to complain about, right? The food was delicious. So much to choose from and everything tasted delicious. Riu Palace Aruba: Amazing resort !!!

This resort was the best we have ever stayed at. The food, service and amenities were absolutely perfect. Our travel agent from trip central, Krista Shaver was AMAZING. She provided us with every detail we needed as well as requesting things for our honeymoon which the resort did for us. Best trip ever !

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing RESORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing Rep from TC

The hotel was clean and well kept. Housekeepers were seen daily cleaning ( could smell the cleaning products in the air). Staff on the resort were very friendly. Check in was well organized , no hassle , no confusion. Hotel had positive vibes!!! Beach was amazing and of course all my travel crew made it the best birthday I could ever have. Riu Playa Blanca: Definitely not a 5 Star.

Maybe a 4 Star on a good day if you take your glasses off and squint. This property is in desperate need of a good steam cleaning. While the staff is very diligent in sweeping and mopping, everything remains just plain grimy. The once white beach loungers are mostly grey. The ice machine had a giant pillow at the base to wick up leaking water. The pillow and surrounding area was covered in black mould. The walls are covered in scrapes, scratches and dirt. Our balcony had chunks of stucco miss [... read more]ing and also needed paint. The room furniture is red and grey vinyl circa 1985. The AC in our room was out for a day. The hot water was sporadic. Gross out alert!!! (skip this if you are at all squeamish) There were toddlers in the "adult" pool wearing diapers. I witnessed a woman popping pimples on her husbands back.... IN THE POOL. On the plus side, the food was the best we have had at an all inclusive resort. The staff is friendly and attentive. These redeeming values are the only things preventing this resort from a 3 star rating. We will not be returning or recommending this property.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: great girls trip

amazing time. service was amazing. from food to bar to the initial encounter with the staff. 2nd time here and I was impressed. the renovations are beautiful. LG at the pool made it fun. travis for the beach towels. Ronney and the bar. jameel bar service made the best drinks and would send. a sever to the poolside for us. lets not begin to talk about the jerk pit. buffet was amazing. I would definately return.

Riu Palace Aruba: Awesome resort

Hotel and pool grounds were amazing. Beach was beautiful. The halls in the building we were in wee strangely dark but rooms were bright, modern, clean and airy. Staff were all very friendly and the food is one of the best I’ve had at all inclusive resorts. Also really enjoyed not having to do reservations at the specialty restaurants!

Loved the hotel, rooms were clean, grounds were kept clean, staff friendly. Food was excellent, lots of selection at the buffet and the restaurants were excellent. The beach was beautiful, white sand, blue water. Weather was amazing, the constant breeze was refreshing

This hotel was beautiful, amazing photo landscapes. Food was wonderful and varied by day. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and super fun. Definitely returning. Staff were able to answer questions and went above and beyond to clarify any questions. The hotel was clean and public spaces were maintained. Entertainment team were very fun and engaging. I tried activities I have always ignored at other hotels and had a blast!!!!
