Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Enjoyed our stay with a few hiccups

The resort is huge, which we were aware of coming in. This resort does not offer the same type of service we’ve received in the past in Jamaica. They are slow, ran out of beer and ice on a few occasions at the beach bar. There is only one ladies toilet and one men’s on the beach which made for long lineups. Overall we enjoyed our time away from the cold, but probably won’t return to this resort.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Clean resort with attentive staff

This resort is spotlessly clean! Our housekeeper spent about an hour everyday in our room cleaning everything - mopping the floor, wiping down the mirrors, making sure everything worked, etc.The staff were always busy taking care of guests and asking if we needed anything. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We saw the bellboy polishing the elevator doors til they gleamed.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Incredible from start to finish

This resort did not disappoint. The grounds were exceptionally clean, the service was outstanding, the food and drinks were fantastic and the culture is phenomenal. Shoutout to the entertainment team and especially Jehneil, who was a not just a fantastic server, but a new friend.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort

The resort was great. Food was very good, service was friendly and location was excellent. Absolutely loved the beach as there was so much of it to explore. Food, drinks and washrooms were always nearby regardless of where you were on the resort. Stores and entertainment were also really great. No complaints!!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Lovely resort

This is a very nice hotel, friendly staff, very clean. I was with royal golden, worth the upgrade fee. Room right on the beach. Would definitely go back. Ride to the airport and back is close, checkin and check out was easy. Getting the right room a little frustrating but just keep insisting

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very good experience

Overall, we had a very good experience at this resort. The food in the main buffet was good, without being great. The speciality restaurants we ate in were very good. Although this resort does not have a beach, you get access to the beach at the other resorts in the complex via free shuttles than run almost continuously between the 3 resorts. The pools are large and clean. We liked a lot of the entertainment that was put on before the main shows. We only attended the one main show (Michael Jacks [... read more]on) and it was okay. The best aspect of this resort is the staff. Everyone was super friendly and always seemed to ne happy.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Something For Everyone

This resort is a quiet resort that is adjacent to several very busy resorts that you can investigate. Adults only and not on a beach, it has several pools and even though it was high season, there were plenty of chairs. There are trolleys that are frequent to take you to the other resorts and an adults only beach area. The excursions are expensive, we went on a day long trip to Coba, Tulum and then to a cave. It was great. Food was excellent and the service was generally very good.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Fun at the Akumal Principe

Excellent vacation. Awesome view of the ocean at the pools, walking, eating. Super staff. Very good service, polite and friendly. Fantastic food. Lots of pools. Rooms in good shape. Buildings exterior needs a little painting. All in all, excellent.

Hotel and resort is very nice and clean food was great but room service was disappointing did not leave bottle water half the time in our room front desk was not very helpfull when checking in but customer service was great

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Vacation

It was a very nice hotel, the food was good , most staff were great the grounds were beautiful and the rooms were clean. Did not like the sales people bugging you. Check in took a long time . Arrived at 1pm and did not get a room till 3:30. We had paid extra and booked a Royal golden ocean view. Which we did not get at first when asked they said they would get us another room but not till the next day. All in all we did have a great time. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: GBP is the Best Resort with Best Value!

Grand Bahia Principe(GBP) Tulum was one of the best resorts we have stayed with. The high quality customer service we received with Trip Central/Air Canada Vacations/BD Travel transportation and the front desk staff was amazing and efficiently professional! We have previously stayed with the GBP at the Coba once and the Akumal twice and we were always overwhelmed with the high quality of service! We love the people and the country! Trip Central's agent, Teresa Gates is the best we have ever encountered. From the day we booked our trip in mid-January, she was so professional and advised us on everything we needed to be aware of to ensure we had a wonderful experience! We were travelling with our best friends and neighbors from PEI, Canada and we felt quickly reassured that we were deciding on the right choice with Trip Central. My husband and I called her a month ago to book Trip Cancellation/Medical Insurance package as we have aging parents. Unfortunately, our friends did not have this and our dear friend's mother had passed away while we were in Mexico mid-week into our trip. Amazingly, we did enjoy our trip together as her family provided support until we we able to get back home. It was a bitter sweet experience for them but also provided a much needed rest for her as she had been caring for her ailing Mom a year prior. Please know, we are so grateful for all we experienced as this resort is beautiful and the food is the best as we have travelled to the Dominican and Jamaica before! The staff are so personable and the GBP resort is extremely clean, the staff are always accommodating and consistently working to make you feel like you are #1! We have so many staff we need to appreciate with their hospitality, like Liz, the pool/beach bar attendant, and William and Oscar as well. Raymond was an amazing mini-fridge attendant too. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Very relaxing week.

Recently spent a week at the Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine and had a good time. The beach was nice but might want to check the distance of it from your section. We usually took a tram but it was a short ride to the beach and one could easily walk. The food was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would return.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing place to vacation.

Hotels are keeped very clean, food was awesome full of flavour and colour. Pools keeped very clean. Tram drivers are awesome. Eddie took us to Tulim, and had us laughing all the way. Shopping on site no need to go anywhere, snorkelling not very far away at Akumel beach. Rooms were clean and very well laid out. Lots of wild life to look at on the grounds. Felt very safe there. We would definitely book an other vacation here.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beautiful resort

The grounds are beautiful on this large resort consisting of 3 separate resorts. We stayed at the Tulum, which is aging. The room was comfortable, however the bathroom was in need of updating. The water pressure was low and a shower was more like a sprinkle. The resort also seems to be understaffed, dining room staff were run off their feet, however were always friendly. We were entitled to visit 3 a la carte restaurants during our stay, however booking ones that we wanted as a struggle unless w [... read more]e wanted a booking for 10 pm! We did get a few bookings and were surprised to find the restaurants were only half full at a reasonable time, again we wondered if this was due to lack of staff. The food was always good, lots of choice in the buffet restaurant.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Ambar the beautiful !

. What can we say..... the newly renovated Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar is an awesome resort ! Can't really fault anything. Luv the beach as it is much roomier between chairs than other resorts ( except chairs closest to the water .) Pool has lots of loungers and great poolside service ( drinks, snacks, ice cream cart ). Everything at the resort is a short walking distance away. We were here around 2009, not long after this hotel first opened. It was beautiful then but additions and specialty re [... read more]staurants certainly have stepped up ! Things we enjoyed were, coffee shop ( great pastries in the afternoon ), top shelf liquors ( usually had to specify ), specialty drink menus at the restaurants. We tried Limbo, MEAT, Nakkei Mashua and Portofino ( all appetizing, great food ). Sports Bar ( chicken wings ) with unique drinks van. Activities at the pool, cocoa demo, wine tasting, foam party. We didn't attend a lot of evening shows but did enjoy the " Silent Disco " and Beach Party. A huge " Thank You " to Walter, entertainment staff. He is a charming, wonderful person. The Bahia is very fortunate to have such an extremely dedicated employee. Nicaury, lobby bar service, is also to be commended for her big smile, friendliness and great service. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Ambar for making our vacation exceptionally relaxing, enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend Luxury Bahia Princie Ambar.

OUR THIRD TIME AT THESE HOTELS .ROOMS ARE VERY NICE AND CLEAN ,FOOD AT BUFFET WAS GOOD AND HAD PLENTY OF SELECTIONS, IN ALL WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY . STAFF WERE ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY .THE ONLY MINOR COMPLAINT THAT WE HAD WAS THE LOBBY BAR COULD HAVE MORE STAFF IN THE EVENING WHEN THERE WAS A SHOW OUTSIDE .

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Amazing resort in all ways

The hotel was clean and I mean clean ! The workers were outstanding in their different duties they had, from the hostess at the restaurants to the bartenders to the entertainment groups - everyone was friendly always smiling and always available to you when you needed them. Check in was a breeze and our room was beautiful . The food was very good and plenty of it - Outstanding the Don Pablo restaurant was my compliments to the chefs. We greatly enjoyed out time at the Luxury Bahia Principe Bouganville and would not hesitate to visit again someday.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful resort

This resort is exceptionally clean and beautiful. However, it is very large! There are 7 resorts in this complex. No one told us about the size of this place or that there are shuttle cars to take you where you want to go. The first day there was very frustrating because we walked so much before we found out about the shuttles. Also, it's not the resort on the beach...it's the second resort up from the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean and the pools are lovely. Lots of chairs on the beach, [... read more] but be careful not to sit in the roped off areas which are for the Ambar resort. The security will quickly approach you and get you to move. They know by the colour of your towels and the band on your wrist. Someone needs to explain these things to you when you book or when you arrive at the resort. We flew in with Air Canada Vacations and when we met with the rep. on day 2, he said nothing about the shuttles. Also, for the Aquamarine resort, the bus from the airport cannot take you to the lobby of this resort because the bus is too large. You have to get off at the entrance and another shuttle will take you to the lobby check in desk. Also, the theatre and many of the a-la-carte restaurants are not on this resort so you have to either walk or take a shuttle to them. We didn't find this out until the last day of our stay! So, we missed out on 2 a-la-carts before we realized this. All this being said, I would return now that I know about the shuttles!! Everyone is very friendly, but not everyone can speak good English, so there can be a language barrier.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Grand bahia principe coba Mayan Riviera

Lovely resort. Suite was nice and clean. Lots of restaurants for a LA carte dinners. Kukulcan buffet restaurant had huge variety of food. Air Canada Rep really helpful with planning excursions. On the down side, floor dangerously slippery in Kulukan buffet and lobby stairs. Alot more tip requirements than I expected. My daughter's brand new laptop stolen from our suite. Was too big to put in safe box. Bus ride from airport was two hrs.
