Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: First time adults only resort experience

All the staff were very good. Food was excellent with a good selection available. Rooms were ok but need one with a king size bed. Very clean resort. The rooms can be noisy if you are on the lower floors. We went to get to sun and relax on the beach which was great. The guests that were there to party seemed to have a good time at the pool and pool bar. There were lots of activities going on to keep them busy.

Bellevue Beach Paradise: Wonderul Week

The hotel staff can't be beat as they try to accommodate your every need, often forecasting your need in advance. The food in the common eating area was good and usually had some excellent options, but the jewel was the little Italy and Mediteranien returants, one of which required reservations. The beach was awesome but get out there at 10 AM to guarantee that you have an umbrella. The surf was a bit rough while we were there but you merely need to go out a bit deeper in the water to avoid cons [... read more]tant bombardment by the waves. The rooms were nothing special but the maid service was good. If you want luxurious rooms, this is not the place for you. Who stays in a room at such a place anyway. One more thing that I also appreciate about this place over more luxurious options is the number of areas outside where you can have privacy with a chair and a drink and a view if you want time away from a crowd. All in all, the most relaxing week I have had in a long time. Tips, ask for an ocean view with a balcony. Umbrellas by 10 AM. ots of heavy duty sunscreen. A deposit for a safe in your room. A trip by bus to the city (market 28) for some excellent Mexican food and a nice day out. The Xelha tour for a day full of relaxing snorkeling and more excellent Mexican food. The rest of the week on the beach.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Beautiful resort

Beach swimming not good with the seaweed. Service great, staff. The food 4star and needs a little tweaking but over all a good vacation spot. Word of advice do not fly Air Canada our flight was cancelled after a nine hour wait in the boarding area so we lost a days vacation. Air Canada ground staff very rude and unhelpful, we traveled with two elderly people but could get no help to get our luggage and get on the bus back and forth to the assigned hotel. Live Aqua Cancun: Beautiful

The hotel staff was very welcoming and for the most part efficient. Occasionally it was hard to fine wait staff by the pool areas. The restaurants were all very good. The gym facilities were enough that a decent workout was possible.

The Pyramid Cancun: Great time!

Hotel was very clean and all staff were very helpful. Definetly a party resort and would recommend to anyone looking for a good time. Great location that's not far from town and easy to get to and from.

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Great Family Resort

Love this resort, we've been 5 times now and will continue to go back. The one reason why is because of their amazing baby club (18months-4years) When searching for a resort to stay a baby club my daughter could attend so mommy could relax was my number one priority, the staff is fantastic and I know my daughter is safe when she's there. She loves it just as much as we do :)

Paradisus Cancun: Wonderful place

Very clean, smells amazing, wonderful waiters and waitresses and butlers. Beautiful beach. Need to replace pool chairs but otherwise amazing. Bali beds are a great feature and royal side is so enjoyable bei g adult only.

Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas: Not worth the money!!!!!

This resort if thats what u want to call it is not worth your money. The rooms were clean however do not ask for a fridge they do not have one do not ask them to change your money because they never have any to change do not ask for bacon or sausage they never have that either. The food is always the same and cold. If u like refried beans for breakfast lunch and dinner then this is the place for u. The beach is full of seaweed. And do not deal with BD Travel at this resort they give u false info [... read more]rmation and argue with u before they give you your money back. The bar staff and the waiters try there best. The weather was beautiful but u can get that at a better resort please pay the extra amount and stay away from here.

Occidental Tucancun: Great time!

The hotel was great. We travel often & there were no major complaints. The food was good, the people were friendly, everything was clean. We did have a lovely ocean front room. There would be some small things that need updating/fixing but nothing that would impact your vacation in a huge way. Go to this resort you will be happy you did!

Krystal Cancun: The location and the People make the difference!

I just returned from the NH Krystal Cancun on March 29,2015, although we were there when spring break was still on we still had a great time. The things I really liked about this resort is it feel small, no crowds on the beach could always get a chair and umbrella, the beach food and beverage service we recieved from Jose was fantastic he literally made that experience wonderful. Roberto at the lobby bar and Angela at our breakfast buffet everyday went above and beyond in customer service...kudo [... read more]s to the hotel for great hires! The main Buffet was mediocre but could always find something to eat...breakfast was the best and most days we ate lunch on the beach and the food was great. The Italian ala carte was very good and again the service was great! A few of the negatives was the beach should have been raked on a daily basis there was a lot of seaweed to walk through between the beach and the water. The all inclusive should ensure that there is lots of water each day in the mini bar they seemed to tap out at 2 bottles and I choose to brush my teeth with bottled water to avoid getting sick. Overall a great vacation, relaxing and fun! The location of this resort was perfect for my 19 year old daughter and her friends as they were close to all the night life just a 3 minute walk from the resort. If you are travelling with small children I would avoid spring break as it was loaded with university kids but if your travelling with teenagers it's pretty perfect for lots of fun for them. On the off season I think it is a pretty perfect spot to have a resonable relaxing beach vacation!

Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun: Great experience!

Everything was great in this hotel, specially the service, personnel were always super nice and with a great attitude. The food was very varied (they had lots of options at the same time) with amazing taste and quality particularly in the Mexican restaurants and in 'La Cevichería' (I could eat this every day!) The beach was very clean compared to nearby areas and again personnel were always near to offer drinks. Making an effort to provide constructive feedback...the hotel rooms looked a little outdated and the AC just a bit loud but nothing that bad, in all they were fully functional and comfy. Krystal Cancun: Not awful but not awesome either

There were certainly some great things about this resort but there were also some pretty big negatives. I've visited many resorts in the past 10 years and sadly, I found the NH Krystal Cancun to be the only one that I wouldn't recommend. Great things: -Beach service was AWESOME. The servers ( especially Jose ) were always available to bring drinks and eeven snacks to the beach! -There were always loungers available regardless of the time of day -The lobby bar was a fantastic meeting place each  [... read more]evening with lots of activity and a centralized location -Italian restaurant had excellent food and fabulous service Negatives: -Nobody was at the resort to welcome us or offer a welcome drink ( a small detail but one that makes an impression to weary travelers ) -You had to fight to get any additional bottles of water in your room. TWO was the max ( how silly ) in your room but you could walk to any of the bars and get as many bottles as you wanted. -The beach WOULD have been beautiful IF they had raked the seaweed off of it. From the water line to about 6-10 feet towards the resort was covered in seaweed that you had to wade through ( gross ). -Paper thin walls and doors. We were there during Spring Break ( which was actuall quite amusing and entertaining ) but at 4am when the "kids" all started wandering back from the clubs you could hear everything. -Loungers-about half of them are old and tired so you need to switch them out each day get newer ones -Buffets were average at best as was the service in the main restaurant. -Rooms-the view was nice! That's really the only positive. The shower is a disasterous design that floods the bathroom every time you shower and you have to FIGHT to get facecloths each day. I don't like giving bad reviews :( and it's not that NH is horrible, it's just not the best value for your hard earned $ in my opinion. Perhaps everyone was just exhausteafter almost an entire month of Spring Breakers! Sunwing Review: Going down: Absolutely HORRID experience traveling from Saint John to Cancun. We were delayed for 6 hours then rerouted ( nobody's fault-weather related ) and then endured the rudest crew I have ever experienced. Snappy, discusting food and no entertainment system. These guys could have made such a HUGE difference in the experience but they all looked and acted like they HATED their jobs. Coming back: The complete opposite experience! Excellent service and a happy, outgoing and friendly crew. What a HUGE difference great service makes! All in all, the only way that I would choose this provider and this resort again is if the price was just too good to pass up. I would simply adjust my expectations.

The Pyramid Cancun: Beautiful resort

The resort was very clean, food was excellent at all restaurants we attended, pool was clean, good entertainment. It did get rather noisy a couple of nights but it was still in March Break time-frame so that is to be expected.

Grand Oasis Cancun: meh

Beach and pools were beautiful, party was good, but the food was horrible (I wouldn't feed it to my dog)... service was below par, and they did not have enough bar tenders to keep up with the demand... bed was uncomfortable, tv didn't work, and sliding doors didn't lock.. girl to guy ratio was 1:7... i would suggest staying at the Grand Oasis...

Riu Cancun: Excellent Resort

From the moment I arrived to the hotel the professionalism was exceptional. All of the staff were friendly, inviting and informative. The hotel is spotless and was beyond my expectations. The food was great from the a la cartes to the buffets and lunch barbecues. The bartenders were very social and had a very good understanding of how to make the numerous cocktails offered. No complaints at all!

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Great for the Price

Good hotel for the price. Location is quiet and family friendly but far from the main hotel strip. Rooms are big and clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed!

Bellevue Beach Paradise: Fantastic

Knew it was a budget hotel and was far better than our expectations had a beautiful week thank you. Even knew the air didn't work we took 2 small fans with us and were quite comfortable.my 16 year old granddaughter loved it too.

The Pyramid Cancun: awesome time!

The most incredible beach I've ever seen. Always a chair either at the pool or on the beach. Very well kept and clean. Good food, good service, good partying. If that's what you're looking for, I totally recommend it!

Riu Cancun: Great resort

We have been to Mexico 10 times - mostly the Mayan Riviera - and have stayed at 3 RIU properties. We enjoyed the Riu Cancun, it was very clean, the staff was fantastic, and the resort was in a great location. The beach was beautiful, the pools were great - all overlooking the ocean - view from our ocean view room was outstanding. My only criticism is that it was not an ideal family resort & the kids club was not great.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Spring break 2015

We had a nice time there BUT it was not what we were sold. They sais that it was an adult over 25 only and that was not our case. There was a group of 50 spring breakers and it was not peaceful . They were LOUD and you could never get a drink because they were always at the bar talking too loud and the barman couldn't see you.
