Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Amazing resort!

Beautiful grounds surrounded by the mountains, the views are magnificent, the rooms are spacious and clean with a daily supply of drinks, the food and drinks in the buffet are delicious! I'd give solid 4 stars to this hotel!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing Resort!

We went in the first week of June 2024. The hotel was big and beautiful, comfortable rooms, we had a Junior Suite. The food and drinks were fantastic and people were friendly and attentive. They had daily activities and great shows There was even a flea market close by for gifts called the "Hacienda". The only downside was the beach was very weedy and rocky getting in. They need to clean the seaweed regularly and you need to wear water shoes at the beach. The pools however were awesome and there [... read more] were many of them. Iberostar Selection Cancun: Great vacation after 25 years hesitation

Beautiful and pricey suite , beautiful ocean front and jacuzzi , food was very good in the buffet , super in the Italian restaurant , and mild in the Mexican. We had more variety of enchiladas, tamales, tostadas Etc in Dallas million years ago. Good entertainment and Memorable vacation overall. Ocean Riviera Paradise: Pretty good resort…

We enjoyed our time at this resort, but could use some improvements. If you get a good price definitely go! Pros: animals, water park, bowling Cons: understaffed, maintenance, beach The resort was at max capacity when we were there so could be a very different experience when it is not. Interacting with the coati and monkeys alone made this resort worth the stay. The kids had a blast! Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Incredible Resort & Air Transat Experince

From beginning to end Liz Simunic ensured our experience with Air Transat and our resort was phenomenal. I highly recommend booking with her. I’ve always gone with Sun Wing but was tired of the constant delays, flight issues, and their lack of care for clients (their booking team is great, but once you book nothing is set in stone). We mistakenly booked at one of the hottest times of the year and the phenomenal staff really made sure everyone was catered to. Continuous shuttles, lots of cool crisp water, clean grounds, delicious food. Entertainment staff were also incredible, fun pool exercises, dances, water polo in other pools, oh my goodness. We had a blast. Incredible bar staff. Despite how BUSY it truly was they did a phenomenal job with a smile on their face. We did the Xplor excursion which I would highly recommend if you do not struggle with walking, and haven’t had a recent surgery. It was BEAUTIFUL. The cenoté was breathtaking and it was nice to do an excursion with so many options to choose from. I did Xel Hao a decade ago and that was also a ton of fun. I’m a beach bum and personally I prefer Cuban beaches. Just bring your water shoes or you may cut your toe open! But the beach is beautiful. Thank you Liz and Air Transat team. We travelled with friends who went the Air Canada route and their flight apparently was quite cramped and uncomfortable. This hotel is HUGE. If you hate walking, lots of families, etc this can still be for you if you take their shuttles. You can also order them from your room. However, they have other Bahía Chains around that are smaller and just as gorgeous. Visit the hacienda for shopping at day and dancing at night with a wonderful dj. Hacienda is a shuttle golf cart away. No more than 5 mins. It’s complimentary of the resort. Tonnes to do on and off the resort. Hacienda and resort shopping are overpriced and for this reason I didn’t buy and trinkets to take back but to be honest it wasn’t an issue. The Mexican Airport had a fabulous array of very inexpensive bottles of fabulous tequilas. The employees were so educated in each one. They had bottles there that they only craft and sell in Mexico, can’t get ‘em anywhere else. I wouldn’t come here again (I never visit a resort twice though) but I’d recommend it.

Ventus Ha at Marina El Cid: Amazing resort !!!!

Very recommended, food, service , facilities, pools . Everything amazing. We had a great time as a family of 3. Night shows, restaurants, drinks all 5 stars . Would definitely be back one day back again soon

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Amazing trip

This was a great vacation. Everything was clean, food was great, and the people working there were helpful and nice. We cannot wait to go back again. This was our first all inclusive because we heard many bad stories but this resort had none of them. Only good times.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: A beautiful experience!

I truly recommend this beautiful resort. Everything was perfect. The food, the service, the rooms, the resort, all awesome and worthy of ever penny. Special thank you to Victor at the beach for all his help. Also, thank you to Danira for her kindness while serving us at the La Perla welcome reception coffee station. Paridusus is truly Paradise!!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Excellent Facility, People, and Food But Not for Scuba or Snorket

Accommodation: We have the "cheap seats" of the facility, which caters to a higher cost clientele. Our room is simple and roomy (not even a desk). The small balcony faces out to the jungle's treetop and there is zero view worth watching and was good for drying out swimming suits. There are many 1- to 3-bedroom "residences" and many with swim-up ground floor suites. The adult pool we swam in was salt water and the other on the beach is not. All are well kept. Rating: 5/5. Beach: Lots of lounge [... read more]s in the shade facing the ocean. It was windy the whole week we were there with strong surf. There is a water breaker facing the ocean and makes the beach swimmable except for the worst days. You can forget about snorkeling, however. Rating: 4/5. People: Staffs are uniformly friendly and professional. Excellent service from hardworking people. Tipping doesn't seem common but we typically tip the room cleaners and the restaurant servers in appreciation. Rating: 5/5. Restaurants: Good to excellent. There are 7 of them but not all are open for all meals. 2-3 are open for breakfast and lunch and 4-5 for dinner. It's a large resort and we have to wait for seats (no reservations) 5 out of 7 evening meals, from 15-30 minutes. Flavour, a large one, was only for breakfast and was supposed to be open for evening meals later but not during our stay. There are two outside BBQ style special evenings so you can order food and eat outdoors in the main complex. For me, there was only one bad meal (BBQ beef sandwich which made Arby's seem gourmet) out of the 20 we enjoyed; perhaps it's just personal taste. Rating: 5/5. Scuba: That's the low point. There is a so-called "dive center" on site but they don't do any dives except for a 10-minute "demo" in the 5-ft deep beach pool. I felt like I was doing marketing for them using the demo as a refresher. All services are subcontracted out to area dive shops and divers have to take a 20- to 30-minute ride elsewhere (other times I dived in Cozumel, a boat comes to the hotel pier). I did two 2-tank dives over two days and was disappointed. For example, one dive shop was a little office with a horrible toilet. It was broken with no toilet seat. Two ladies were in my dive group of 4 and I saw their expression coming out of the toilet. The other time, we had to wade through waist-deep water to board the boat off the beach. One dive master, although professional, does not speak English. No one on either dive checked my equipment before jumping into the water. On one dive, my weight belt slipped off while in the water and it had to be tightened by the dive master on the bottom, using up 5 minutes out of a 25-minute dive and a lot of air in the tank because I was nervous. I ended up having to use the dive master's emergency air to complete the dive. Although PADI certified, I dive just every couple of years and was feeling insecure during all four dives. Rating: 1/5. Summary: If you're a couple or a family seeking a well-run facility with excellent people, service, and food and taking the occasional excursions in the Mayan area, this is a good place. But if your activity includes scuba or snorkeling, look elsewhere and possibly on the island of Cozumel.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great for children

Rooms are okay , little old , workers in buffet are nicer and the restaurant are nice as well , pool is clean , late entertainment could be better , kids club is amazing, great for kids, foods great but some day is the same food repeat.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Nice resort to stay

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. No complain at all. The foods are amazing and the people working are great. We will comeback again in the future. We went to tulum and three cenotes. Nice place to visit. We went to don serloin restaurant too and the tacos there were so delicious.

Riu Flamingos: Wonderful Family Vacation!

Our stay at Riu Jalisco was fantastic! The resort is beautifully maintained with lush gardens and a pristine beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and great views. The food was delicious and varied, with several dining options to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Enjoyed this beautiful resort so much, I”m heading back next week!! The resort grounds, rooms, staff, food, drinks, pools all wonderful. Well organized and very safe. Riu Yucatan: Amazing 4 star

This hotel is great for families on a budget. Tonnes of wildlife and the beach is pretty good. Chicken nuggets and fries along with pizza was great for the picky eaters. The other food seemed like it wasn’t good enough for the palace next door so they brought it over for us beggars at yucatan. Blah. No service on the beach. Riu should consider dropping a star so there is no confusion between their other 5 star hotels and the Yucatan. Its just ok. Riu Palace Mexico: Fantastic Resort

The hotel was beautiful. The staff, grounds, service, meals, presentation, cleanliness & room was amazing. I was very happy & impressed with everything. I even made some nice acquaintances at the hotel. I wasn't once disappointed in anything. This was my first trip in many years & it was so worth it.

Riu Flamingos: Worth The Money

Superb Resort for the money! Good Food! Daily evening events! Nice beach area! Nice people! Staff is helpful! Nice space to sit and relax! Neon and foam party weekly! City tour must try! Carry extra 200-300$ for sports

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Outstanding!!!

We stayed for 10 days in the Oceanfront Jr Suite. WOW is all we can say. The pools were close to the resorts and the ocean was a short 1 minute walk from there. The 4 restaurant's on site all were extremely great food. The buffet was delicious from breakfast and a quick bite in the afternoon. Rooms were clean and spacious. My only complain would be the very stuffy elevators with no A/C. but that's extremely picky of me.

Riu Palace Mexico: Only 3 stars resort

This resort is not like 5 years ago, this was our second stay there. Quality is way down, very noisy resort, not family friendly regarding the noise at night, no kids activities and the way some groups of people behave even if there are children around. Food is ok, not good selection of alcohol drinks, the resort is clean, so bottom line, this is not a 4.5 stars resort, maybe 3.5 stars.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent resort

We stayed at adults section, villa 83. we loved the location, 2 min to restaurant for breakfast and lunch or to the infinite pool and the beach. The beach was clean and the ocean full of fish. Ideal place for snorkeling. The resort is big and very clean. We had access to all restaurants and beaches at Bahia Tulum, Coba and Sian Ka'an The room was clean, it needs a little refreshment but overall was ok. The food was also ok, nothing out of the ordinary, not a lot of variety.
