Grand Oasis Sens: Great Resort
This is a very nice resort. Very clean and well cared for. The food selection was good and the service was excellent by all staff. The pools were great! The only downside was the lack of nightlife besides going downtown to the bars and clubs and the lack of food for late night snacks.
Secrets The Vine Cancun: Chic Hotel
This was our first trip to Cancun and we were not disappointed. This all inclusive adults only resort had a level of sophistication and service we have not experienced at other 5 star resorts in Mexico and other sunny destinations. The staff were extremely friendly, the food was a cut above the competition and the hotel was a very sophisticated modern design. It was also one of the best beaches we have been to anywhere down south. Rather than fighting for a chaise lounge the staff actually made [... read more]
Riu Palace Las Americas: Fabulous resort
I enjoyed my stay very much, beach access was superb! This was my second visit and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. I will definitely go back to the resort for another relaxing vacation. The food was very good, many choices at the buffet. The restaurants are diverse, something for everyone. The service and the food, excellent
Riu Palace Peninsula: Outstanding Resort
All around excellent. Large lovely room with great views. Beautiful pool deck area with no struggles to get chairs. Pools located right next to the beach. Lovely white sand beach. Great quality food, especially at buffet. Very courteaus and friendly staff. Stunning modern architecture with a very thoughtful layout. A true 5 star property. Minor niggle, is no robes and the daily pool card towel hassle.
Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Fantastic holiday
Great amenities, amazing hospitality, beautiful beach and quality food and and drink. Would go back tomorrow!!! All you could want in a vacation. Rooms are also well appointed and very comfortable. Liked that everything in the hotel was easily accessible.
Riu Palace Peninsula: Nice hotel...terrible service!
I wouldn't call this a 5 star resort. The service at this hotel was below average. The rooms were nice but we had issues with lights not working, mini bar is not kept cold and the doors don't close probably. Everyone on our floor was slamming their doors shut so it was difficult to sleep in. Beach was fairly good...a bit rocky and the pool area was very lively.
Occidental Tucancun: Wonderful property !!!!
We were blown away by this hotel. The staff and food are top class. The planned activities are excellent. One pool is definitely for the active and music loving folks. We're in our late 40's yet we didn't need to use the adult pool ( which is the one with the swim-up-bar ) as the many poolside waiters continually look after you non stop. The top tier pool with the infinity aspect is probably the best as you have an excellent view from the tanning beds/chairs. We chose the week of March 5-15 thin [... read more]
Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: You can't not have a good time here!!
Hotel was really great and could not believe the value for money for a family suite, I was really impressed. The views from the rooms and pool to the ocean, are gorgeous. I liked that there were lots of healthy options at the buffet and restaurants. Big Bens was very accomodating to get me a salad although not on the menu, and the head waiter at Manhattan's was amazing and even stopped by to shake my dad's hand and wish him well, when he saw we were leaving. We were a group of 13 ranging from 9- [... read more]
All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Great place to take kids!!
We took our kids for the first time and this was a great place to take them!! It was a small resort(155 rooms) so i sodntbhave to worry about them getting lost, good variety of food, nice and clean, AWESOME STAFF!! They were very friendly and interactive with the children!! The pool was fun and lots of activities for the kids. The beach wasn't great they did their best to clean seaweed every day but there was still always seawed in the water. We still swim in it but too murky to see anything whe [... read more]
Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing Views
Hotel was lovely lots to do. Staff treated us very well. We spent a fair amount of time around the adult pool with Abraham he ROCKED! David who was part of the entertainment crew was a GEM! Really enjoyed Cancun felt very comfortable going on the public bus downtown to take in the sights as well as have super in one of the pubs. The musicians on the bus are so much fun! Only two suggestions the patio in back of Trafalgar has a step that is not clearly marked took a tumble. And it was frustrating [... read more]
Riu Cancun: Spectacular Resort!
This hotel was absolutely beautiful, I was taken away from the moment we arrived. The staff were extremely professional, helpful and very friendly. The rooms/grounds/lobby were ALWAYS being cleaned literally I felt like I never saw sand or dust anywhere. The hotel grounds isn't very large as it is a high rise but it was still breath taking. The hotel extends pretty far towards the water so the beach space directly behind the hotel is kind of short, however is you go over to the left side thre is [... read more]
Riu Palace Peninsula: Pleasantly surprised
My finance and I had a great stay at the Riu palace Pennisula. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was immaculate and the beach and water were amazing! Our room was exactly what we asked for and we didn't feel "ripped" off at all. We stayed for ten days and not once did we complain about the food.
Sandos Cancun: Second time even better!
This was our second time staying at Sandos Playacar. The location is excellent - the safe, gated community of Playacar, walking distance to Playa del Carmen, and a beautiful beach. We were pleasantly surprised that they have eliminated the need for reservations at the a la cartes. We had consistently great meals at the Asian, Brazilian, El Gaucho steakhouse and the Italian, with no wait times at any of these restaurants. Breakfasts at the main buffet were full of quality selection and lunches at [... read more]
Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Too much fun at Crown paradise
the resort was great - lots of things to do - good food - nice - I have no complaints- we slept to the sound of the ocean, looked at the ocean every morning - could make coffee every day the minin bar was stocked with both water and beer eveyday - I would return tommorrow
Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great kid`s resort!!
Just got back from our 1 week stay at Crown Paradise and it was great! You have to realize you are going to a 4* resort and adjust your expectations, the rooms are a bit dated but very well cleaned and comfortable! The staff is very friendly and helpful and do the best they can to help, some expect to be waited on hand and foot (you need to pay much more for this service!!!). Everyone in our group loved the food, the beach and pools were great. I would certainly recommend this resort for familie [... read more]
Isla Mujeres Palace: Great Quite Vacation for Adults
My wife and I were desperate to get out of the cold and made a last minute decision to head south. The agent at Trip Central gave us several options that met our criteria and budget. Isla Mujeres Palace met and exceeded all our criteria. The service was fantastic. Staff was not just friendly like most resorts, but honestly really good at their jobs. The facilities were top notch, clean, well maintained and plenty of amenities that made the trip memorable. Things that would normally make me crin [... read more]
Moon Palace Cancun: business yes vacation no
Good spot for business meetings, close to airport. But not so good for vacation. Beach is poor, entertainment is lacking, looks and feels like many big city hotels ... not like a vacation destination on the Riviera Maya in Mexico.
Grand Oasis Palm: Disappointment
too many people for the space..impersonnal..not enought elevator....very noisy at night in the corridor:-(beach was so so........service was good..we love the pool and the shows but needs to be outside iy would be better......the sushi bar was amazing.
The Pyramid Cancun: Stay at the Grand Oasis, not Oasis Cancun
Same grounds but a lot more selection in restaurants and clubs at the Grand Oasis. The food at the Oasis was not very appetizing, service was not very good either. Spring breakers were very aggressive.
The Bel Air: Beautiful Beach
Beach was lovely, food so so, loved the close proximity to Cancun and the bus was a bonus! $1 a ride! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was strange. No chairs! In the evening when we wanted to unwind there were only about 6 chairs in the lobby. Not sure of the logic behind this, but its a shame as there would have been more people around if seating was available.
