Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Awesome resort for kids!

This was a great resort to visit...there were 6 adults and 4 kids in our group and everyone had a great experience. The kids waterpark was great...safe, great staff, pizza was brought there around one for the kids to enjoy. The kids enjoyed zip lining, rock climbing and mini golf. All of the other pools were good, entertainment was good. The rooms could use some upgrading. The food overall was good...Wayne's Boots was our favorite restaurant.

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: my idea of a holiday!

I holiday here every year. my kind of place ,not pretentious ,very friendly staff, lovely grounds. the rooms are clean. and best of all, no elevaters.. meet up with people from the previous year.. there are a few that also come every year.. . and also its a small place so everyone gets to know each other. people from all over the world come here.. last year was russians, this year it was columbians and argentinians..everyone sits around after dinner and has a few libations and talks. wonderful!

Caribbean Princess: Beautiful resort

Nice looking rooms ,lots of pools, Good food at the buffet and restaurant. This resort seems to be good for all ages. The only down fall to this resort is that you pay $70 US to receive Internet to communicate at home.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing Family Resort

We just returned home from a great week at the Crown Paradise. This is a great family resort. We travelled with our two children (9 & 5) and they were entertained for the whole week. There is so much to do at this resort. The kids club area is amazing! The pirate ship with all the water slides was great fun. The basketball courts were a big hit. My 5 yr old wasn't tall enough. We found it to be very safe. The guys running it always looked out for our safety. The kids have to have running shoes or they can't rock climb or zip line, so be sure to bring your running shoes! The big water slides by the rock climbing wall were so much fun for adults and children alike! The activity / entertainment staff were amazing! They were the ones who truly made our vacation a fun and memorable one. They work so hard each and every day , always greet you with a smile. Great entertainment for all! The games room was great too. My boys always loved to play games in the evening. They had pool tables, ping pong, table soccer, air hockey, wii, ps3 and there was even a movie theatre. The shows in the theatre in the evening were great. Very entertaining. They all did a great job to entertain both young and old The restaurants were good aswell. We enjoyed all of our meals at all the restaurants. The staff at all of them were always very pleasant and accommodating. You have to call 24 hrs in advance to book them The pools,were great, a little cool but not a big deal. It was definitely refreshing as the weather was so hot. Perhaps a bit more shaded areas along the pools would have been nice this is a great place for families that's for sure. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all and I would definitely go back again We stayed on the main floor in tower 2 which was great as it was close to the pools and across from the buffet restaurant

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Good value

The accommodations were a little dated but it was a great value. Lots of selection for meals and the beach is very nice. The resort was not too large which will appeal to most. For kids the water slides were great.

Aquamarina: Good Value for a tight budget

As a last minute escape from winter with a buddy, this place did not disappoint. I was not trying to impress anyone like if I was bringing a girlfriend. The best beaches are about a 20 minute bus ride south ( puerto Delfinas) where I had a blast in the crystal blue ocean sandbars getting pumbled by relentless waves. There are so many excursions available from Cancun , that we were only there mostly for breakfast and dinner. The location is quite convenient to travel to the entertainment district, or downtown for a buck.

Awesome resort for family vacations, older building but great atmosphere, people and food! Lots for kids to do, close to downtown and amazing beach. Can't say there was much we didn't like, except maybe the insanely slow elevators...

The hotel, staff, entertainment & food were superb. One thing that really bothered me were the sales kiosks in the lobby. The constantly nagging sales people were more than annoying. Beach was great!!

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Pleasantly surprised

Like everyone we were nervous going to a hotel that is so new. We had a small issue when we went to our room and without making a fuss they immediately upgraded us to a swim up room, which was lovely. We where also given a couples massage and hydrotherapy in the spa. The restaurants were all very good and the service outstanding. I give the service and the food a 4 rating only because the buffet wasn't yet up to where the hotel standard should be. All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Amazing Resort

Everything was great about the resort. Staff was really friendly and the food was great. I am giving it only 4 stars because WIFI is not free and the signals can get really weak in some of the rooms. Also, in order to make reservations for the restaurant, you had to go to the guest services in person. It was really difficult to get through them over the phone.

Moon Palace Cancun: Amazing

I found the resort to be very customer oriented. The rooms at the Moon Palace were very spacious and and loved the decor. The housekeeping staff were very helpful. Loved the spacious bathroom and of course the jacuzzi tub in the room. I want to say enjoyed the Taco snack Bar/Pool area as we had the best service with your staff, especially Sergio. We would have loved to be at the Main pool, however it seemed to fill very early in the morning and was not able to get any seating. The transportation [... read more] from Resort to Resort was amazing as it was available so frequent. One thing I would request would be to have a International evening buffet rather than A la Carte dinners. All in all we had a fabulous time.

The Sens Cancun: Great resort

This resort was very clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Jimmy at the Canteena Bar (super guy). The rooms were a bit dated but clean and everything worked. The food was good overall but we never tried any Alacartes. The biggest draw back was no Balcony's but we new that going in.

The Sens Cancun: incredible beauty

This resort is in a beautiful setting surrounded by surf and sand. The food was good and we never went hungry with lots of selection from both traditional Mexican and international food choices. The staff was amazing especially Jimmy the bartender at the Cantina. He was always quick of fill our bubbas and was always smiling and happy. We recommend the Captain Hook pirate dinner and show cruise. The boat looks like an authentic pirate ship and both the food and entertainment were great. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great getaway on a very friendly intimate resort. The resort size was perfect for our group of 8, we never had to wait in long lines for the buffet and we could always get a lounge chair at the pool or on the beach. Overall a great place with lots of local shopping malls and flea markets. Its only a buck to take the bus downtown to shop and there are lots of stores and booths to cruise through. We even found a Harley Davidson dealership to increase our tshirt collections, LOL.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Amazing vacation!

This place is the epitome of luxury! The service was unbelievable, staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and beautiful, the food was all Delicious and the pools and the grounds were all very well maintained! Nothing negative to say at all!

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: Great vacation!

We spent 1 week feb 10th and had an amazing time! I don't usually swim much on tropical vacations but the ocean was the best with no rocks or seaweed therefore I swam every day. We had a deluxe gold room with lagoon view which had amazing sunsets. The food was good and premium drinks were great! The hot tub in the room was a great way to end the day. We used our resort credits to rent a Bali bed on the beach for 5 days which included wine and some appetizers and I had 4 messages. You have to pay [... read more] 20% of the cost which was 320.00 total. I thought this was fair considering 1 massage can cost an average of 100.00. The only complaints would be the size of our balcony which was two tiles wide so smallest we have ever seen. We expected there to be more dancing/music in the evening considering it is the hard rock. There was not one band and the DJ played 3 nights but didn't start until approx 11pm. Overall a great vacation and definitely would recommend this resort.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: 3rd time not a charm

Our 3rd Princess cruise and our 3rd Disney Vacation Club trip we were acknowledged somehow with something special . This was our 3rd Secrets Resort Trip and I know they are a new resort but we paid full price and Romance is dead at this Resort . No rose pedals ,no animals nothing special at all in our room . Brand New resort and no hot water in Jacuzzi tub that would have taken 4 hours to fill . Room service inconsistant , ordered same thing 3 times and every time was different . Called 3 times  [... read more]to make golf reservations and finally had to call golf course myself .... Sorry No five Stars here. Now for the good , Food at this resort was the best ever for me. Everything I put in my mouth was amazing , Great service in restaurants and at bars . Coffee shop , first class , anything you could want , latte ,cappuccino's etc ... all free , open 6 am . Hats off to this resort for food and beverage's . I think the just need more time .... Last thing , GREAT BEACH , love it

Grand Oasis Sens: be sure to take advantage of all amenities!!!

Live Aqua Cancun: Great resort ,great location

The resort was very nice. Clean , beautiful grounds ,easy to get around. The food was overall good . The buffet restaurant was our favorite . Breakfast and lunch the best. Good variety , many dishes cooked in front of you . Meals at the speciality restaurants were hit and miss . Very salty . Nice presentation. No reservations but some nights there was 1.5 hour waits . The chair reserving saga exists - we were up at 0630 and most of the pool side lounges were reserved . We had lounges on the be [... read more]ach which was nice - more space between the chairs. Not many umbrellas for shade . One day a hotel staff dug up our umbrella to give to someone else while we were gone for a short swim at the pool - our lounges were clearly occupied. It took 2 hours for them to find a replacement- so much for getting up early to get a good spot for the day. Our room was a beach front on the 8th floor.it was simple - nice and clean, good view of the ocean. The bathroom was clean and functional . The beach was the best part of the vacation. You can walk forever in both directions on beautiful sand looking at Aqua blue water . Out the front of the hotel is the La Isla mall - many high end stores - fun to window shop . Overall we were happy with this resort .

Grand Oasis Palm: Amazing Value!

This hotel rose high above our expectations for the price, with pristine marble floors and waiters who bent over backwards to get us exactly what we wanted from an array of gourmet food. Yet it still kept the old world charm of an exotic foreign country, with mostly spanish speaking staff, ethnic food there for us to try and a mariachi band around the pool at night while we browsed the local artisans they brought in every evening.
