Occidental Tucancun: Wonderful Resort!

Great all inclusive resort by the beach. Clear skies in low 20s. Ocean a little choppy but warm. Rooms well maintained and cleaned often. Several choice restaurants. Voucher reservations for ala carte a bit of a drag. Went as family with pre/teens - not a lot of activities òther than the pool. Spa service excellent (Thx Magda). Beach kept clean however needs umbrellas! Hotel a short ride from airport and behind Kukulcan mall. Excursions at least 2 hours away. Overall wonderful experience rec [... read more]ommend it. Barcelo Karmina: Great resort

Resort was clean rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful. Lots for the kids to do. Food was good only complaint was the pool chair availability. Rules of the resort were no reserving allowed yet people would throw towels on chairs and disappear for hours on excursions. Once we talked to security we found out we can just move them and take the chairs if they don't show up so we did. Resort was full and very busy but overall was a great family holiday.

Allegro Cozumel: Amazing Resort

All is perfect!!! We are impressed of the resort stuff doing just perfect job. The a la carte restraunts are amazing. We suggest Italian and Oriental - delicious food. The beach cannot be better - the best place for snorkeling,diving and just swimming. We will definetely return.

Occidental Punta Cana: Newly renovated, beautiful resort.

The grounds were well kept and the beach was gorgeous. I loved that it was newly renovated. They had nightly entertainment and a Disco as well. I had a spa treatment which was excellent. In addition to the expansive buffet, they had a range of a la carte restaurants to choose from.

Occidental Punta Cana: This was a great hotel and the food, room, beach and staff were so good.

the dining room were good, but was not so happy with the Chine's one, to dark in side and the food, so so, went to the main dining room to eat after this meal that night. The rest of the dining rooms and food were very good, and I loved the beach dining room a lot.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Great resort

The place was lovely.Saw wildlife ,deer,monkeys on our balcony ,flamingo's outside our balcony.The beach was ok, very busy but lots of fish to see. We stayed at the quiet pool, the others were very busy with young or teenage kids. Lots of walking if you want and also a little 17 hole golf putting , which we had alot of laughs playing. The food was good , the best one was the seafood restaurant.Overall a great holiday and clean resort,

Occidental Cozumel: Great Beaches and snorkeling

The hotel had a lovely Mexican flair. It was spacious and felt uncrowded even though I think it was completely full. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The front desk was a bottleneck at times not having enough staff on to satisfy the crowds during peak times. The room was spacious, neat and well kept. Everything worked pretty well. Water was well stocked. External noise was minimal. The food was ok. It was plentiful and cooked well, but It was not gourmet. We ate of [... read more]f the resort a number of times to get really good seafood. In my mind it is the beaches and the snorkeling that really made the hotel stand out to me. The beaches were a lovely sand , there was lots of room and I never had a problem getting a beach chair. The snorkeling right on the beach was great! I didn't spend much time by the pools but they looked well kept and the people seemed very happy. The nighttime shows were intimate and alot of fun. Lots of dancing and different costumes. I liked the layout and the size of the resort. It was big enough without being too big. Everything was within a comfortable walking distance. Overall, a great value for a fun vacation.

Occidental Punta Cana: So very impressed!!!

We fell in love with Occidental from the moment we pulled up to the lobby! We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome or a smoother check-in. Everyone was so eager to help us have the best stay possible. Our room was beautiful and the A/C was as cool as you wanted it to be. The staff was so respectful and always had a cheerful "hola" whenever we passed. The beach was so amazing! Plenty of chairs for everyone and lots of opportunity for shaded spots. The grounds are immaculately kept and the attention to detail is noticeable. The entertainment at night was great! The bars are well stocked and the Presidente ice cold! It puts a smile on my face just to write this review! We will definitely go back, and we will bring friends!!

Allegro Cozumel: Good Value Resort

The hotel was average. Breakfast probably had the least selection but they had the classics so it's not like you have to go without. Rooms were small, but clean. Amazing beach and service which made the average things okay. Entertainment was good and the island itself had lots to offer. All in all it was a good vacation for the price we paid.

Allegro Cozumel: Great Experience at the Allegro, Cozumel

Hotel is very clean, newly renovated rooms, food is very good, with a wide variety. Beach is amazing. Was a little disappointed that the palappa's/shade shelters were removed from the beach area. Would recommend they put them back. Hard to find much needed shade in +30 weather. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Occidental Arenas Blancas: Great Location

Resort Aging but clean and well kept Room clean, big and everything worked Beach amazing Pool big but cold Buffet better than expected, fresh stations for every meal Italian and Mexican restaurants were good Snack bar open late with hots and hams for when getting back from the street Staff were good and helpful, much better than many of the ignorant other guests Location This is what made the trip great for us, great location near the main street in Varadero. Street has great bars  [... read more]and restaurants, close to the city park. Go anywhere on the hop on hop off 5 pesos a day double decker buses. Take a ride in one of the old 20's to 50's vintage cars, we booked one for an hour for 30 pesos. Live music every night at Beatles Club or Calle 62 till at least 1 am. Cheap and cold beer and good food at many locations on street. Included best warm water lobster I have ever had (still no comparison to coldwater) at the Groto in the park. Very cool location with a few tables in a cave. Full dinner of lobster and shrimp for three and steak for one with appetizer and bottle of wine for just over 110 pesos. Great pizza and pasta at Kikis. Overall had an excellent time. Will definitely be back to Varadero. Felt very safe out in town, no pushy vendors (other than the horse drawn carriage drivers always asking if you wanted a ride). Only decision for next time is whether to use a resort or rent an apartment in town.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Great Resort

This is our first time at this resort thanks to Michelle Turco, Trip Central and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was good - we ate mostly at the A La Carte restaurants - Italian was my favourite - Mexican not so much! The grounds and pools were very maintained, the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was good but the tub needed some work due to mold around the edges. The buffet was also good for breakfast as well as the Rancho Grande for lunch. Occidental Punta Cana: Lovely Place

My review is I loved being at this resort. However, when we first arrived I had no air conditioning in my room. I had requested it be fixed several times with no luck they didn't seem overly concerned so I spent two of the seven nights without air then I was switched to another room because I insisted they didn't offer. Once we were settled in our new room it was amazing. Great place to take the family, lovely service (except front desk), very clean, safe and fun!

Occidental Arenas Blancas: Hotel was good

The overall resortt was good but we were in a newly renovated room and was not finished. We lost half a day waiting for it to be made so we could unpack. The room was in the Barcelo Solymar not the Barcelo Arenas Blancas we were booked into. They had no room for us so sent us to this resort at 11:30 at night due to over booking. Not very pleased.

Occidental Caribe: Great time

Hotel was a little old but in excellant condition. food was very good for resort food. Ala cartes were excellant. Beach was amazing. Lots of activities and things to do for all ages. Would definately return

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Great stay- April 5-12 2017

Hotel is clean and all amenities are very close to one another. Upon arrival, we were given a room facing directly towards another building: I was expecting Oceanfront as per our booking. We were moved the next day a few doors down with a slightly better view. Overall, it was a great vacation. Great food, friendly staff, nice beach and would probably go back.

Barcelo Huatulco: Great resort

We had a great time at this resort. It was great for families with small children. Lots of activities for the kids and a great kids pool. Small resort, so easy to get around. Being runners my husband enjoyed the gym and I ran on the beach. The beach isn't super long but a good challenge to run. The kids loved the waves in the ocean. I would recommend bringing life jackets.

Barcelo Karmina: 5 stars all the way!

The area of Manzanillo is absolutely beautiful and Barcelo Karmina is right in the heart of it all. Beautiful resort, sensational staff and lots of bang for your buck. Nightly entertainment was great and the food was amazing. Will be returning for sure!

Occidental Cozumel: Very nice resort

We had a fantastic week the 4th to the 11th of April at the Occedental Grand Cozumel. Rooms,Gardens Staff were amazing we didn't want for anything we enjoyed it very much we can't say enough about the staff the are all very friendly. I would definitely recommend this resort. Thank you for making our vacation fantastic.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Beautiful resort

The location of the resort in a jungle like setting is beautiful. There is wildlife like monkeys, iguanas, flamingoes and raccoons. The food and the service are good. I recommend this resort if you like being close to nature.
