Excellence Playa Mujeres: Excellence all the way

From check in to check out this place is amazing. The service the cleanliness the food the rooms the shows. Everything at EPM is 100% excellent . Have been to this resort 5 times now and will be back again and again . BIG shout out to Gerrardo at spice. Best waiter in the world !!

Villa Del Palmar Cancun: Wonderful, quiet resort. Great food and drink.

If you are looking for a resort that's a wild party, this isn't the spot. It is quiet and relatively small with amazing views, great food and drink, wonderful pools and fantastic rooms. There isn't even a swim up bar, which we actually found to be a good thing as there was less sloppy partying going on at the pool than what you typically see at an all inclusive. Beach swimming isn't great (though the beach itself is very nice) but the pools make up for it. The staff don't necessarily go out of their way to make you feel like a king or queen, but they are friendly enough. We stayed in a one bedroom ocean view suite and the added cost is most definitely worth it. A massive balcony is included with a hammock which we used daily. The resort is kid friendly, though not overrun with children. There are adult only areas and pools if you really want to avoid kids. We traveled with our 8 month old son and the resort staff were very accommodating, providing a crib with appropriate bedding on arrival and sterilized high chair with tray at each restaurant we attended. Our room included a full kitchen, washer and dryer which is a huge plus for anyone travelling with kids. Food quality was very good - we particularly enjoyed the Japanese restaurant and Steak House. Breakfast buffet was good, we did not attend the dinner buffet as the 'a la carte' restaurants can be attended for every dinner with reservations (we typically made them same day with no issue). We would highly recommend this resort and will attend again.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Best ever

Nice clean modern rooms. All the staff were friendly and beyond curtious. The food was the best. Unbelievable variety. Will be back next year. We had taxi and buses right outside resort. Lots of thinks to do and a nearby river lagoon walkway park. Also nightly entertainment was fun yet things got quiet at 11th so made for a good nights sleep.

Beautiful Place with all the Amenities You could want Staff couldn't do enough for you Friendly and informative . Food good with enough variety for all Great Shows Golf Course super Beach was not overcrowded due to hotel's location. Easy bus ride to all shopping Museum etc Feel rooms could do with a refresh New Furniture paint but had all we needed Would return

Moon Palace Cancun: wow wow wow just a amazing vacation.

the service you receive in all areas of the resort are top notch , everyone is pleasant and are there to make your stay the best. the grounds and surroundings and views are breathtaking. no problem in finding something that you would love to eat for any meals , I can go and on , this was the best vacation we ever had , my husband enjoyed the golf as I did the spa. we will go back for sure. debra and sid

Isla Mujeres Palace: Love the staff!!

We were treated like royalty. The staff made our stay perfect. We did not want for anything. The food, wine and tequila were fabulous. The rooms were tidy and wonderful. I recommend this place. Thanks

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: worth every penny

This hotel is one of the smaller hotels in Cancun ,about 220 rooms , but having said that it makes for a less hustle and bustle at check in/ check out times, meal times are also a breeze with no bookings required at any of the 4 specialty restaurant's .The property is well maintained and clean .The entertainment staff go out of their way to try and make sure everyone is enjoying themselves and the staff in the restaurants do a great job by greeting and seating the guests at a table and the servi [... read more]ce during in the meal. I talked with quite a few of the guests while I was there and found that many of them are repeat guests that had returned year after year "a home away from home " as one of them told me, which pretty much sums up my own thoughts about the place. It was my first visit there and I, like others, will be returning

Occidental Tucancun: Nice Resort

The hotel is small and easy to navigate and the staff are friendly. There are people always cleaning and doing maintenance.Buffets are not that exciting but adequate. The beach is nice and hotel is right on the hotel zone. Rooms were clean and beds wee comfortable.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Our 3rd visit and it was fantastic!

It was our 3rd time to this resort :0) We love it! My husband and I love this resort for the people and entertainment. The food is great, especially the Italian. Sexy pool during the day is great and the patyo bar at night is always happening and busy. Staff is awesome and we felt like we were at home :0) thanks again! We wil be back! Xo

Moon Palace Cancun: Amazing Resort

This hotel is luxury at its best. The staff at this resort are amazing they truly want to please each and every guest.Hotel is beautiful inside on a Grand scale. When you walk into the one of three lobbies, Nuzic, Grand or Sunrise it is beautiful. Check in was easy and fast. Our room had a King Size bed with a in room Jacuzzi large walk in shower and fridge which is stocked daily. All pools were clean and easily accessed. The overall cleanliness of this resort was impressive. I have stayed at several other all inclusive and this one is by far the best. The staff are on top of their game. Always looking to please and always smiling. It is a large resort however it is easy to get around. Shuttles move people to and from the resort sections quickly. This resort is totally amazing and we are already talking about returning next year.

Grand Oasis Palm: Great Resort - Overall good experience

Resort staff were great/helpful. Food was not the best I've had, but lots of choice made it easier. Location and rooms were great. five minute bus ride from heart of city and big spacious rooms. Beach was a tad crowded during the day and pool cold and shaded most days. Elevators and wifi were dreadful however. two tiny elevators for a big resort that were very slow. Overall, great experience

Grand Oasis Cancun: Vaca is what you make it to be

Small room buy we re arranged it to make it look like us. Great variety of food. Extra cheap liquor but the sale it for so cheap all over cancun. Dont buy anything on the beach which is marvelous by the way. All around a great vacation. Everyone was extra nice and courteous.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: The best service . . . . . but not the best beach

We stayed Jan 10 – 17, this was our first time at an Excellence resort, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As others have mentioned, it really is the staff that makes the difference. We both have special food needs – food restrictions/eating often for medical reasons and serious allergies. From when we arrived we couldn’t have asked for more. Special foods were made for us, extra care taken with preparation, and staff even checked in after we’d ordered food (before they would serve us [... read more]) to make sure that it would be okay – just in case. And on our anniversary we got to enjoy the special dinner – very romantic with candles, rose petals, and excellent service, as usual. We loved the no-reservations, no-limitations policy on the restaurants, and only found we had to wait one night (gave us a chance to go back to the bar). The food was excellent – our favorites were the French and Mediterranean, which we went to twice. For us portion sizes were just right - especially the deserts – as I could indulge without guilt! Breakfast most days was the buffet, and we both enjoyed the wide variety of food on offer. Room service was great – we ordered from it every day (at least once per day), normally late at night. We were always told how soon it would arrive (30 minutes was the longest), and it was always on time, or a bit early, and everything was delicious. Yes, the selection is somewhat limited, but between room service and things already in the room (drink, snacks), there was no way we’d be going hungry. We did change rooms – which was very quick and straightforward. We started off in building 7 – right by the theatre, so it was noisy late at night. We were moved to building 3 – the farthest away from the theatre, which was maybe a five minute walk. Or, on some nights at the bar, a 15 minute stagger . . . . We did a couple activities – a day trip to Isla Mujeres, snorkeling, and playing the drums – but that was it – the rest of the time we just relaxed. Overall we had a great time – the beach was the only thing that wasn’t as good as we’d hoped for - lots of seaweed, red flag every day but one. We know that isn’t something the hotel can control, and they did a pretty good job of clearing the seaweed, but we’re definitely beach people, so it was somewhat disappointing. It would be perfect if we could take this hotel/staff and move it to a better beach. But then we’d never leave . . . . :o)

Live Aqua Cancun: Live Acqua Cancun

It was a gorgeous property and the beaches are amazing but we did the hotel as it said great swimming beaches and for miles and miles and days and days it was all red flagged due to the undertow. The food was amazing the first couple of days and then it all started to test very samey.

Sun Palace Hotel: Worth Going!!!

Very clean, friendly staff and GREAT beach!! Loved how small the resort was - we didn't feel overwhelmed with too many choices. Our view from our room was just beautiful. The amenties in our room were great as well!

Moon Palace Cancun: very nice

Well kept grounds with excellent service all round. We went down for a family wedding, everything went smooth! Love the Pub!! The beach food was very good, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, philly cheese steak, fish tacos etc. The fries were good as well......Brazillian....delicious! We loved the fact that you dont book restaraunts just walk up, get your beeper and go for drinks, wait for the lights! Perfect, we never had luck booking ala carts at other resorts. Temptation Resort & Spa: amazing place to party

The grounds are kept very clean. The staff was so nice always helping. The pools were beautiful, the beach was ok. The food was good. A lot of different food to chose from. The bartenders are awesome.

Grand Oasis Sens: 3.5* not a 4.5/5

I just came back from the Oasis Sens a week ago. I've been to Cancun many times and I do have to say, compare to the other resorts, this is definitely my least favorite. Room was ok, clean but dark...they should have a lamp beside your bed. We did not have a safe in our room, we did ask for one but never got one. The food... breakfast buffet is good, no buffet for lunch. They really should have one because, huge line ups to the sushi bar, hamburger/hot dog place, italian, mexican and chicken res [... read more]to. If your not in line by 12:00 noon, then good luck. For breakfast make sure you do try the Benazuza (reservations needed), it was excellent and the two waiters we had Alfonso and the other one were excellent. As for dinner, buffet, Italian, Mexican are ok. Japanese was really not good. Instead of serving us whatever they served us, they should do stir fry. Then we tried the Black Hole. You have to try it for the experience but the food was not the best. They have a coffee shop, don't know why they don't open it at 7:00 am instead of 9:00 am Hotel and pools are clean. Just beware at night if you walk around the pool because there is two pathway which are not lite.. yes there is yellow cones to make you aware but they should have a railing or something because we saw somebody fall and he could have gotten really hurt. Would I return, not sure.. maybe if the price was right.

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: About this resort.

Excellent service, restaurants, amenities, rooms overall a great resort. Not a great place for seniors who would like some peace at night as it can be quite noisy. We did enjoy our stay. Christian at the front desk was very helpful when we first registered.went beyond the call of duty. Give him a raise.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort for kids!!

This resort is amazing for small kids, the kids club has activities planned for them every hour on the hour. There are 4 pools, one is covered and heated so if you have a baby then it is perfect for them. They also have a baby club from 18 mths to 3.5 years old. Food is good, you can always find something to eat. The burgers at the snack bar are great and they have a Japanese restaurant open from 12 to 4pm everyday that has fresh sushi and Japanese food. Only a 15 min drive from the airport is a [... read more] huge bonus as well when travelling with small kids. We had a room that looked onto the abandoned resort next door. Not the prettiest thing to look at but certainly did not affect our trip. Every room in the resort has ocean view. The Plus rooms have bunk beds for the kids. The staff are always cleaning and making sure the cups, plates etc are cleaned up around the pool area. Service in the restaurants are excellent. Even though this resort is all inclusive we tip the servers. These people work hard and deserve the tips. The only cons to this resort is that the main pool is a bit chilly and the bars do not open until 10:00am. We will be heading back next year.
