Secrets St James: Awesome Vacation

The resort was very well maintained and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. There was always someone cleaning or maintaining something on the property. The pool and beach areas were cleaned daily and ready for use each morning. Of the four available beaches we enjoyed the ones at St. James and the Preferred the most (we upgraded to Preferred upon arrival). The food at all restaurants was very good and proportions were just right. The only minor disappointment was the room. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great family friendly resort

This was a beautiful resort, we've been to many but the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the grounds and room, and the activities left us having to prioritize what we would do first. The kids club in particular was absolutely amazing, the staff there were so involved and sweet with the children and had a practice hour and performance for the kids every night that our kids were absolutely thrilled to participate in, the water slide provided hours of entertainment, the foam party, reg [... read more]gae dance parties, water spinning and so much more meant fun, total relaxation, and memories for a lifetime

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Trip!

This was our second time at this resort. We are very happy to report it was just as great the second time. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. We were upgraded when we arrived, so very thrilled. The only complaint I have is the timing of the rooms being cleaned. Most days they weren't cleaned until 3-4 pm. So if you had an early dinner, you didnt have fresh towels or a tidy room.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Beautiful grounds in an excellent location.

Resort is very large, spread out, does not have an intimate atmosphere. A shuttle ride operates between the two different sections. Staff are extremely pleasant and efficient, very attentive. Entertainment was terrific, awesome dance troupe! Rooms at the Riviera Seaside Village were clean & well maintained by the friendly staff, but a bit dated. Swim [... read more]ming area cordoned off made it safe and accessible. The food was somewhat disappointing for the level of the hotel, especially the Terrace steak house. It is also difficult to get booked for the specialty restaurants due to the large number of guests staying at both sides of this resort.

Couples Tower Isle: Amazing Resort

This is by far our favourite resort. The service is top notch and the hotel and grounds leaves nothing more to be desired. We've been to several other chains on various other islands and nothing compares to this in our opinion, as far as value for price. There seems to be no request the staff are not willing to accommodate. The food is delicious and offers lots of variety at the buffets as well as the a la carte restaurants. We really appreciate the no tipping policy as it just makes our sta [... read more]y that much more relaxing. While this might be considered a quieter resort than some, that suits our preference. Having said that though, there is still lost to do throughout the day and evening. Check-in/Check-out is done quickly and efficiently and we really appreciate that Couples has its own airport arrivals lounge and shuttle to and from the resort. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Awesome Resort!!

We just returned from a great week with friends at this resort. Had a great time...our room was amazing and the food ...no complaints!! The staff at this resort are always smiling and willing to help with just about anything. Shout out to our awesome waitress on the terrace...Queen Vanessa!!! We love you! We will definitely book with this chain again and this resort in particular. Great location!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Very good resort

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious beautiful. Bed comfortable. Very clean hotel,organized,very nice people,the restaurants a la carte serves an amazing food. Everyone looks very happy and helpful

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Awesome resort!

This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful resort. The staff are awesome, the food is great and the drinks are plentiful. The staff can not do enough to make your stay a great one. One very big bonus is that the resort is only about 20 minutes from the airport, but you do not hear any airport noise. We hope to return to this resort again in the future.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Amazing resort

This is our favourite resort..... The staff are wonderful....the food is delicious....the resort is huge but they have shuttle service for those who need it. The shows were great...Poisideon, blue lagoon, and the cafe upstairs are the very best. Shout out to Claudia ( Our fav waitress at Poisideon); Rayjay ( our shuttle driver called us every night to see what time we wanted a drive)and Jean (best waitress at the infinity lounge) to name a few! Riu Ocho Rios: What a great place to vacation.

First of all the service from the staff was amazing, there was not a time where I did not have them asking me if i was ok or needed something. The food was excellent. The facilities were clean. There were alot of activities for my family including my 11 year old. The shows were good. Definitely going back.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: issues with Sunwing

the hotel and everything else was fantastic. Beautiful resort, and would go again, except can only go by Sunwing. We paid for 2 rooms as I went with a friend, ocean view. My view was of the room across from me, no ocean view at all unless I hung over the balcony to see a tiny view. My room was beside the road and I was awakened at all hours by the noisy road. My friend was put in a room 2 hotel blocks away and she had a view of the noisy road. We asked to be moved, no one would move us, but othe [... read more]r people were being moved to better rooms with no issue. I spoke to the Sunwing rep who as well, would do nothing to get us an ocean view, or even close to each other. She was an awful rep for Sunwing, her answer was to put us at another hotel and charge us more. It was not till the 5th day of a 7 day vacation that a manager who was off sick, came back and offered only me a better room away from the road, with a view. I saw no sense in packing to move rooms with only 2 days left. I loved this resort, would really like to go back, but after my treatment by Sunwng, and the awful area our rooms were, I would not travel with Sunwing again, as they have made no attempt to make us want to use them ever again

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Vacation!

We had a great time at the Grand Bahia Principe! The hotel is very large and there was always something to do or see to keep parents and kids entertained! The pools were amazing, the food was great! The Steel Band and the Beach Party were really fun! I would definitely return again and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going to Jamaica!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Wonderful resort... our happy place!!

Stayed January 21-28th, 2018. 3rd time at this resort and it is still amazing. Beautifull grounds, lovely nice big room with a huge bathroom...double sinks, separate rain shower & big tub. Everything very clean and in working order, including AC. Housekeeping always does a super job and the mini fridge is always topped up daily with bottled water, juice, pop, beer, little bottles of alcohol and snacks. You can customize what you want in your fridge just by letting your butler know. Let's face it..no matter how beautiful the resort is, it is the staff that make the difference & the staff at Iberostar Grand definitely make a difference! Here is an example... My husband got a pretty bad sunburn ( he burns in the shade and didn't put enough sunscreen on one day). We decided to spend the next day hanging out in our room to keep him out of the sun and our butler noticed this. The butler (sorry, I can't remember his name) showed up at our room a few minutes later with a big bottle of aloe gel for his burn. So thoughtful and kind!! There are 3 pools at this resort with an abundance of loungers and covered beds. There is a towel hut so you can exchange wet towels for dry ones as many times as you want and there is even sunscreen there for the guests to use. The beach is not huge but the sand is nice and soft and the water clear & sooo warm! Lazy days on the beach with drink service right to your lounger...what more can you ask for. ( Kinesha is a gem, so sweet, kind, personable and works so hard slugging those drinks to us all day long in the hot sun and always with a smile on her face). The food in all of the restaurants is Yummy and the best that we have ever had at any AI resort, and we have been to many different resorts over the past 10 years. Even the room service food is great. There is something to suit all tastes so you will definitely never go hungry. They even have BBQs on the beach on some days. Can' t beat eating fresh fish, jerk chicken etc in your bathing suit on the beach! The Star Friends will keep you entertained with beach volley ball, pool games,etc if that's your thing. They are tireless and work so hard but are not pushy so if you just want to laze around that's just fine too. Jamaica and Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is our happy place and if you give it a try it might just turn into your happy place as well.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Resort !!

We had a wonderful time here. It is a very big resort and requires a lot of walking, but the grounds are beautiful and there is lots to see. We also enjoyed the snorkeling right on the resort. The food was awesome, lots of variety and the staff were very friendly and did an amazing job. We would return again .

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Great for small children

This was our second stay at the suites. Food and beach are wonderful. The staff bent over backwards to assist and look after you. Don't waste your time with the VIP/timeshare tour. It was a waste of 90 minutes and at the end we cold not understand what we would get for our $30,000 expenditure.

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Hideaway at Royalton Negril is a 10 out of 10!

We were delighted with this resort. Staff was amazing, food great, the view fantastic. Weather cooperated too. We unhesitatingly recommend the Hideaway at Royalton Negril to anyone who wants a first-class vacation experience.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Not worth it

The hotel is large - involves a lot of walking! If you have mobility issues, it's not the place for you. Registration is a joke. The more you question or ask about your room (i.e. ocean view, nicer room, higher floor), the more you are ignored. They are always "working on it" but nothing changes. Service at the pools/lobby bar is non-existent. Most of the time spent there, we had to get our own beverages and table service at the buffet at breakfast and lunch was very poor.

Rooms On The Beach: Get what you pay for

The Rooms on the Beach Ocho Rios is actually being torn down end of 2018. It's been bought out by Moon Palace beside it. The location is prime - right on the beach. The room was clean They cleaned the rooms every day before lunch which was great - fresh towels too. no complaints there. Free safe int he room. Air conditioning worked well. I'd give it a 2 .5 star rating. The continental breakfast is VERY basic....my hubby and son had to go get food out in Ocho rios. Moon Palace Jamaica: A piece of heaven!

Amazing resort and even more amazing people! I had read great reviews about this place and had high expectations, and I will say that all my expectations were met and exceeded. The resort credits were amazing as we did so much with them. A treatment at the spa is a must! They give you a water treatment for an hour prior to your massage and that’s to die for! Beautiful spa. The food at the buffet needs variety, we rarely ate there, only for lunches as there wasn’t much to eat. The other resta [... read more]urants were good but overall the resort needs to add more variety to their food. People were amazing, coco and romaine from entertainment, and Ricardo from the Italian restaurant. Ricardo remembered our individual names after the first visit! My two boys loved him. The beach was great, the town was safe to walk. I went with a 9 and 15 year old and they had so much fun as the resort has so much to offer. Other than food variety, the only other issue was the size of rooms; they were too small for a family of 4. Some other resorts offer more space in their standard rooms.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Great resort and fantastic staff!

This is an older and small resort, but clean. Food was excellent and staff were fantastic. I would recommend this if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation. We felt safe to walk down the hip strip and to Margaritaville.
