Barcelo Maya Caribe: Not a 4+ star resort

The lobby, grounds and amenities are great. The rooms are not- they are dated and in need of repair. They also aren’t cleaned properly. We arrived and our first room for tub had a chunk missing, pink mold and the shower tiles looked dirty. There were tiny little bugs crawling on the vanity and it was all dusty. We went down to the front desk and were offered a tour of a different room. It was essentially the same but a little less dirty. Food was ok- lunch buffets were not refreshed so unless you got there early there wasn’t much selection and freshness Beach was beautiful- a little rocky but lovely none the less and minimal seaweed.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Wonderful Resort

The Ocean Coral and Turquesa exceeded all my expectations! The grounds are gorgeous, great pools and have every amenity you’d need or want, including a bowling alley! We were there as a family and kids were beyond happy there. The rooms were lovely and kept spotless. Food was great and lots of choices. Most of all, we appreciated the amazingly kind and friendly staff. They were the best!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: A 3 stars place with 5 stars employees

The resort property needs some TLC. The pool near the beach was not well maintained. But the employees are caring and very welcoming. If service is important to you, that’s the place. Provided red wine was undrinkable so we ordered red wine a la carte. Mixed drinks were good most of the time.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: IBEROSTAR

Amazing hotel,had beautiful grounds very well taken care of . The food was awesome lots of choices,fresh The staff were helpful and friendly.The rooms were clean and comfortable the maid service was fabulous We will go back

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great small resort!

First, Jen at tripcentral was amazing. It's a small resort, very clean and well kept and the staff, all of them, are the best and very attentive. I read reviews saying it's old and in need of a renovation. I didn't tho k so, it's quiet and quant. Also, you can step outside and be in the town, which is nice. Beach is absolutely stunning, but you can't swim in it. The food is great too, don't e pect lobster, your not payo g that kinda price... it's good, nice selection and well presented. It wo [... read more]uld be nice if they put a few drinks in the room fridge... but the don't provide anything but water... no towel cards, just take what you need and when. We liked it and would go back.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Not great

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Beautiful!! NO pool/beach Servers

Was really impressed when we arrived. Lobby was great, check in was great. Room is great. My only negative review is that there are no pool servers or beach servers. Not one during our one week stay. You have to either be in the pool and go to the swim up bar or get out of the pool and walk to the bar side. The beach is the same. No servers. You have to walk to the Beach cafe bar area. Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Perfect Resort

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find it was very clean and perfectly manicured landscaping. It was small and that is what we were looking for. The food and drinks were great, and the servers and room cleaning staff were excellent and very attentive. We spent 7 days from April 20 to the 27th and there was nothing but blue skies! We would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for laid back and relaxing fun.

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Dont' Go To This Hotel

The hotel is over an hour drive from the airport. Check in at the hotel took 2 hours, and we had priority check in. We were supposed to get a butler, which we didn't get. I never saw a butler during our stay. Food at the buffet, the bacon and sausage were cold each morning. The scrambled eggs were undercooked didn't taste good. Food at the French restaurant was overcooked. Poor selection of food. I had chicken which was a very thin slice of chicken with a very thick panko crust which w [... read more]as very dry. It came with mushrooms. It didn't even come with anything else such as potato, rice or salad. When I went to stand up, I put my hand on the table to stand up and the table tipped over spilling the drinks. It was a cheap table with only 1 leg. Food at the Steak restaurant was slow to get served and then rushed. We sat down at the table, and didn't get served for a long time. Then, when someone finally came to take our order, they brought the drink and dinner at the same time. It took a long time to get served and then it felt very rushed. The Beach has no bathrooms. It's a long walk from the beach to a bathroom. The Pool had cold water. Maintenance needs to be done on the building. Safety is a concern. Some of the tile floors are made of a very slippery material. Some of the pool floors are very slippery from water spilling over the side of the pool onto the walkway. The ramp going to the beach is very narrow and if walking at night or not paying attention its easy to not see the ramp and miss the step down and twist an ankle. I saw several people with crutches on the resort. There is no hand rail on several stairs. Entertainment is not good. It was boring. Some shows were worse than others. There were very few people who came to the shows and many left during the show. We had a flood in our room. Water came from the floor above into our room. Water was all over the whole floor and beds. The water was stinky (probably sewage) and went onto our clothes, toiletries and damaged my cell phone. I had to argue with customer service to get us a new room. They put us in a room with a king size bed instead of the 2 double beds that we had. Customer service said they would pay to replace the damaged cell phone. Despite several phone calls and emails, they have not paid for the damaged cell phone. It was not a relaxing vacation. I've been to many places and this was by far the worst.

Riu Palace Baja California: Amazing resort

Excellent resort, very clean, food was excellent. Service was great. Had a problem with our safe twice. They took care of right away. Would go to this resort again. Weather was awesome, a little windy at night and cool. Put it this the desert.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Gone Downhill

This is my second time to this resort and I was so excited to return after having such an amazing time 4 years ago. I am extremely disappointed with this resort now. The service was terrible, most mornings my partner and I would eat a full breakfast before any server even offered us water. Bartenders are swim up bars were very slow and most wait times were around 10 min for a drink. The staff consistently seemed like we were bothering them. We stayed for 7 days and only had our room cleaned twice even though we put the “clean” sign on the door and left tips every day. I am very sad to say that I will not be returning

Selection Riviera Cancun: Best resort!

This was the best resort I've ever been to! Such professional staff and very well taking care of area/pool/rooms/restaurants. Highly recommend this place for ur next vacation with or without your kids. Lots of food selections for breakfast lunch and dinner! Room service was usually under an hour wait for delivery at anytime of day/night. The restaurants were mostly free food except a few. 10 outta 10 rating and will be coming back forsure

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Dated

At first glance... the lobby is beautiful, grounds are very well maintained. Staff are great , friendly and some what accommodating. And by somewhat... for an " all inclusive " we were hard pressed to get diet pop and water in our rooms- some requested were not even filled with 2 calls made. And when we did get pop ... and when we did get pop it was 2 at a time. Buffet good was ok at best. Al la carts... the best one was Tokyo! Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Not worth the money

We booked with a group for a wedding and weren't in the same building as the other 40 guests. Lots of members of our group had room issues. Staff were not friendly at all, food was nothing to write home about. Many members of our group ended up with bad GI issues while on the resort. I have never been to a resort where there were lines of people waiting to be served at the bar. The pool bar was the worst many people got out of the pool to get their drinks. Entertainment was nonexistent, no music in the pools or activities many people brought their own speakers to listen to music. I do NOT recommend this hotel for the money go to Jamaica where you will enjoy everything about your trip.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Fantastic Vacation!

This resort is very large but very well designed, with multiple pools & restaurants so we never felt crowded or had to wait for anything. The grounds are beautifully taken care of and the beach is beautiful! It was very wavy the week we were there so there wasn't much ocean swimming - but we did get to see dolphins a couple of mornings! The drinks and food were consistent and tasty. We ventured into town a few times and loved the experience. It was very walkable and we felt safe. I know one doesn't go on vacation to stay in the room but a few upgrades would improve the experience!

Barcelo Maya Tropical: AirTrans At/Barcelo

Not sure how much more I can say about how wonderful AirTrans At and the Barcelos are, both are incredibly professional and so helpful. Barcelos are a wonderful resort and the people are wonderful, can't say enough good things about them and believe me you get your money's worth. And then of course there is Wendy Harrington our trip central rep the best of the best.....

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Needs help

Lots of updating needed. Check in was good and reception staff quite friendly. Rooms in need of some TLC. Trollies being rolled up and down hallways over tiles all night and early morning. Food just ok. Coffee shop only uses small paper cups and plates. Ridiculous lineup every morning to get booking for restaurant and only one at a time. Unless you are there at 7 (and they won’t take bookings till 8am on the dot) you are unlikely to get much of a choice. Hardly any seating in lobby or bar area [... read more]. Nowhere comfortable to sit and have a quiet drink in evening. Rooftop bar plays music way to loud. I could go on but…….

Barcelo Maya Tropical: AMAZING!

this is my 2nd time at the Barcello Maya - i thik this is the best resort ever. Super clean, the beach amazing, food and drink excellent. Serve also excellent. i recommend this resort to anyone. I will be going again, just looking out for a sale.

The grounds, public areas and pools are just fine. Food was always fresh and there were plenty of choices from seafood and different kinds of meat and salads to vegetarian options. The buffet restaurant was always clean and the waiters and waitresses were always kind and attentive. The hotel was always clean as well as the room. Noseless AC was also a good addition. The only my concern is, but it was very important to me, that during 4 nights some guests who lived close to my room were very nois [... read more]y after midnight and 3 or 4 times on different nights I had to call to the front desk and ask to send the security to calm those guests down. Yes,the security were coming quickly and the noise was stopped for some time but after a couple of hours those guys were starting to shout and yell again. So,as a result my 3 nights were just sleepless. But thanks to the young man Jesus by name who work at the front desk of Barceló Maya who helped me to change my room and the hotel and the rest of my vacation was just fine. I am very grateful to him for his exceptional support and kindness. To my opinion he is the best. I really will be glad to see him again when I come for my next vacation.

Riu Palace Baja California: Beautiful Resort

The hotel was exceptional. Choice of food was also fantastic. The room was very roomy and clean with a very large and comfortable bed. The servers in the restaurants and buffet areas were excellent.i would highly recommend this location and a short cab ride into town to Cabo Wabo was well worth it.
