Tryp Cayo Coco: ok resort

the resort was dated. Trying to book the A La Carte was absolutely horrible. Some people in our group had no problems with bookings and others couldn't get one at all. The view off our balcony was very nice but not worth the money, plus others in our group who had not booked or paid the extra for an ocean view room actually ended up getting one anyways. A few times the bars ran out of certain liquor. The entertainment was amazing! The dancers where breathtaking every night. Tryp Cayo Coco: Good Resort for price

It needs a little updating, service needs improving. Beach was amazing. Entertainment was good. Foam party was a blast. Food was acceptable. Drive from airport was quick. Flight was great. Some of the staff was amazing some not so much

Hotel staff wasn't friendly they only catered to there own.. Service was slow and the the food was bad.. Lots of mosquitoes and they spray right around the time the cafeteria opens for supper so u get eaten a live and have to leave

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Totally awesome beach!

The only down side to this resort ! that I found was that after the night show was over around 9.30 ish. There was no more intertaiment at all. Night bar ! Etc. Would of been nice to have someone play at the bar. Low key after 10 oc. Dianne at the reception desk was awesome to deal with she is a asset to the resort! And so is the assistant Manager who is totally awsome.

The rooms were decent, beds were like sleeping on plywood. Maids were great, staff didn't go out of their way at all for anything (even with good tips) Alacart booking staff(Anabel) was rude and abrupt . Nightly shows were good( very talented) but typical, not a lot of other entertainment. Food was edible, coffee in restaurant was like swamp water. Swim up bar smelled like an outhouse. Foam party was on the grounds, not in the pool. The highlight of the trip was the view from my room 1061, and the waitress in the Cuban restaurant Mayara , she is amazing best staff member during the entire week !!! .. oh, the lobby bathrooms looks like everyone's bowels exploded, all the time make sure you bring your own tissue.. my poor sister got locked inside the stall, DO NOT LOCK THOSE DOORS.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Beautiful Resort

This was my first visit to this resort. It was beautiful the grounds, rooms and overall appearance was great The beach was absolutely beautiful, the staff on the beach where very helpful . The food was great enjoyed my omelet every morning, but at times it could of been warmer, but was good!! The beach was absolutely beautiful! We were looking forward to enjoying the beach and can say we were truly blown away...we spent many hours relaxing thereThe hotel staff were professional and always friendly and helpful. The pools were laid out extremely well, the only critique would be that they could be a bit cleaner. Entertainment staff were energetic and friendly. Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Great time!

Overall we had an amazing stay. Traveled as a couple from April 23-30th. Grounds are very well kept. We stayed in building 18 and the room was very nice. We had a door to the bathroom and no issues with hot water. Beach is beautiful. Water is calm and shallow. We usually went to the beach around 11am and had no issues finding chairs. We did a couples massage at the end of the beach that was awesome. It was 30 cucs for 2 people for 30 minutes and was worth it. The pool was lots of fun and the b [... read more]artender at the pool bar was awesome. No issues finding chairs at pool either. Buffet always has fresh grill stations (beef, chicken, fish, stir fry) and fresh pasta. All very good no complaints. There are bugs at night we always sprayed with big spray before leaving the room and had no issues. Overall it was great for what you’re paying and we would go back!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing Resort!!!

This was our first trip to Cayo Coco, Cuba and it Surpassed our Expectations!!!! All of the Staff are extremely Friendly and Welcoming!! Our Accomadation was quite clean and Beautifully designed. There was quite a selection of foods to meet even the most fussy dining guests. Also, I cannot forget the Beach... Simply Stunning!!!!!!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Diamond Club

I had purchased Diamond Club as an upgrade. For this I received the following. The bathroom was disgusting. Shower tiles were broken. Floor tiles had mouldy grout. I had no hot water for the entire 7 days. No-one cared. The rest of the room is best described as run down. My view was of the back wall of a building not of the pool.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Beautiful resort

The resort was Beautiful lots to do wasn’t overly big the pools were good the ocean was amazing very clean. The food wasn’t too bad you could always find something to eat. It’s also the end of the season. Accommodations were very good. The staff was amazing. I definitely would recommend it and I would also go again. The weather was good only had one storm at night but it was amazing to watch. Thanks

Just returned from this resort and we really enjoyed our stay. We traveled with our two kids ages 7&9. This resort is big so be prepared for lots of walking. The food was typical for Cuban resorts. We really enjoyed the pork and chicken. Don’t stress yourself out if they run out of something in the buffet, as there’s always something to eat. Returning some courtesy to them is the least you can do. The service was a little slow in the main buffet as well as the beach buffet at lunch. However, if you have breakfast at the beach buffet the service is excellent as it is very quite in the morning. The staff at the beach bar really stand out as exceptional. It’s always busy but they are very fast and well organized. And of coarse the beach was the highlight! Beautiful white sand and clear water. Bring your snorkel as there are lots of fish to see right on the beach. There is some corral on the beach, so a bit of caution is advised when walking in the water as they are sharp on your feet when you step on them. Lots of cabanas for shade, and a surplus of lounge chairs. So there was never a need to reserve chairs, unlike some resorts we have been at. All in all it was everything we expected. Would we go back? Probably not, but only because we have never stayed at the same resort twice! However, for someone traveling with kids I would recommend it.

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Amazing resort and staff!

I just came back from Cayo Coco and had an absolutely fantastic vacation at this resort!!! This was my 4th trip to Cuba and by far the best experience with how clean the grounds, beach, pool area and bathrooms were, as well as how smoothly everything went. They have a lot of personnel and most of them were extremely warm, and caring. It’s a smaller resort, so no long lines at the buffet or over crowding at the pool, beach or lobby. Melia Costa Rey: Pullman

As for the resort its beautiful, beach also beautiful, rooms are clean!! Most of the staff are friendly some should definitely smile more!! As for food it sucks big time!! Not too much variety and always the same day after day. But other then the food we really enjoyed our holiday at Pullman!!

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Great, relaxing vacation!

Just came back from an amazing vacation. This was our first time at the resort. I came there with mom and 2 kids (10 year old and 8 year old) All of us enjoyed every day there. Was entertaining guests from morning till night! You can see him at the beach, pool, lobby, and evening show. Came over to the lobby to say goodbye on our last day. Great guy! Pool - very nice ,clean but need some renovation, lots of Activities going on. Guy who works at the pool was amazing! Always ready to help with chairs. Kids loved a swim up bar! Food was – OK, we did not try restaurants. We ate at buffet. Kids enjoyed eating pasta. They loved a cook who was preparing pasta for them with different souses. They are requesting it at home now. They had fresh bread and buns every day, that tasted so good! I enjoyed fish and chicken on the grill. Cooks at the grill station were amazing too, always with a smile and can grill fish or meat for you any style you want. The rest food in the buffet was so so, but you can always find something to eat. Kids enjoyed ice-cream station! Bars at the lobby - Servers were great! My favorite bar tender was Yaisimy and server – Denny! Ladies I miss you already! We did not want to leave this place . The staff makes it the best trip ever . Very relaxing vacation, just bring a mosquito spray!

Hotel Playa Paraiso: Excellent vacation

Although I may not have chose to stay here (I won a radio contest), I was happy to be a guest. The staff was attentive and friendly, the pool outstanding, and the beach incredible. The food, while not that impressive, was plentiful and well-prepared. The rooms are a bit dated and need some work, but the cleaning staff did a great job keeping things tidy.

This is the only resort I have traveled to twice. Staff are wonderful here. Best pool bar tenders I have ever seen. resort is clean, and beach is spectacular. Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Wonderful Trip!

Amazing trip overall but probably will not return as too many issues had come up. They messed up on one of our reservations, we discussed the issue with the hotel manager and they were great and fixed the issue.The pool bar could be open a little later. There was a bug issue in our room as well as our friends room at night time, they came through the window and we had to have fumigation in order for them to not come back. We attempted to use it at the VIP lounge in Toronto but they were closed, we tried to use it on an excursion but they did not know how to use it in Cuba.
