Playa Pesquero: Amazing resort

Nothing but good to say about this resort Friendly, well maintained, good food and spectacular beach. Beer garden is a must stop to enjoy cold " cerveza" The animacion starting at the beach and ending at night show is great.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Nice Resort!

The resort was nice...need to work on the hot water...maybe had 2 warm showers! The Airport system needs updated bad!!! We did have a relaxing vacation ! The Cubans are awesome people!!! The food was great no problems at all!!It was a beauty resort...alot of stairs....

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Amazing

The resort was beautiful clean and friendly staff !! Not one bad thing to say and would love to go again!! Food was also very very delicious!! Excursion were timely and fun aswell !! Just a great place and warm feeling all around !!

Playa Costa Verde: Hidden Paradise

This hotel is exactly what I was interested in. The grounds are very well kept by the friendly gardeners. The rooms are always clean and towels are replaced on a regular basis. The beach bar and pool bar are a lot of fun with the friendly bartenders. The buffet was great with a huge variety of different foods. You will never go hungry as there are numerous dishes to select from. Sol Turquesa Beach: Pleasant stay

The hotel rooms and grounds were very well kept, pleasant staff and ready to accommodate us. The food was not too bad, but not a lot of a variety. Pretty windy down at the beach and water was cold, we are used to the warm water of the Dominican, but we thought we would give Cuba a try. Lots of mosquito bites on everyone there.

Was a very big resort beautiful beach huge pool no issues with finding spots the food was good not great but plenty of choices and lots to do only down side was the service it was so slow to get served it was always a waiting game and trying to get there attention they would just ignore people

Playa Pesquero: Wonderful week in Cuba!

The Playa Pesquera hotel was a wonderful vacation spot. Beautiful rooms, excellent choice of foods at the buffet restaurant and the a la cartes. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again!

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Home away from home!

Our return trip to this resort did not disappoint. The hotel is continually working on improvements to make the stay memorable. The staff from check in to check out are friendly and accomodating. The beach is one of the best and the coral offers a spectacular snorkeling experience with the beautiful fish! The recreation staff are loads of fun! There are many beautiful pools and there are plenty of lounge chairs to choose from.

beautiful grounds, renovated entrance to hotel is very attractive. I know that you need cats to keep the mice at bay BUT we were awakened on night by fighting cats and I thought that I was back at our farm when I was growing up. Also, at our special lobster dinner we had 5 cats around our table for the whole meal. They could at least be caged while were eating. I know that some people feed the cats while we are eating and even with signs they won't stop doing that. The mattress in Rm [... read more] 1026 definitely needs to be replaced. Having said all that my friend & I still love coming to Sol Rio and find the staff especially at the breakfast restaurant very attentive and welcoming. Also, love the beach with lots of chairs for relaxing. This is our 6th visit.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Greet trip greet place

At Club Amigo for the third time it was great to be back. The best part is getting hugs from the staff who know who you are from past visit's. We had an issue with our bathroom in our first room, and in 1 hour we were in a new room.Staff is just great they can not do enough for you.That's why we keep going back. Can't to see them all again.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Amazing resort

We have been to Blau costa verde from 5th to 12th february 2017. We upgrade for Blau costa verde PLUS because we weren't satisfied of our rom. Room in PLUS side was modern, clean and new. People who worked at this resort are very helpful, friendly except women at the front desk. Food at the buffet was really good, various and tasty . Also, all restaurants are good enough to be tried. The beach was wonderful. I recommand easily this resort.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: NOT A 5 STAR RESORT.

We had a great time, but that's because we can find fun in everything together. We stayed Sadly, I don't feel like this resort was even close to a 5 star. Nothing about this place felt luxury to us, with the exception of the room. Overall, I don't feel it was worth the money at all and can't recommend it.

Don Lino Hotel: Great place

This is a quiet little resort, set on the ocean side. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Food is good, a wee bit repetitive but good. I'd recommend this resort to those who want rest and relaxation. If your looking for excitement I'd go elsewhere.

Playa Costa Verde: best vacation ever

This is my first trip to Cuba and I'm very glad that I've chosen a great resort to start with. Beatuful beach, nice environment, very friendly people of the resort. Food was also beyond expectation. Everything was great and we will definitely come again. Thanks to the agent of tripcentral (Jack) for helping us choosing this hotel.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Great Beach!

This was our fourth time at Club Amigo. We were in a gardenview room. The room was clean and housekeeping was good. The gardenview buildings are quite old but it appears they are beginning to refresh them. If you book the gardenview, the bottom floor rooms are larger. The buildings are 2 floors. We didn't have any issues with the room other than wanting extra pillows. They were delivered promptly. The food was good. We ate a few a'lacarte dinners which were great. The buffets are al [... read more]so good with a fresh fried meat at each meal. There is a water purifier in the main lobby where you can get water, a thermos was supplied. The beach is awesome! There is 1 large beach and 2 smaller less busy beaches. Shade trees and palapas are abundant, beach chairs are supplied. There are areas of coral between the beach sections. The entertainment was ok. The water balet is definitely worth seeing. Some of the other shows were too loud to enjoy. People with hearing sensitivities will want to be at the back or off to the side, but you won't see nearly as much. The same problem at some areas on the beach during the day, music blaring. The trip to and from the airport takes about 1 hour. I suggest mosquito repellent for the evenings. Our legs got bitten up while sitting outside. We had a great week and would consider making a fifth visit some time.

Beautiful Area great beach Good value for the money always good weather at this end of the island bungalows are the preferred room. Main hotel is too noisy. Food is reasonable ,this is our 10 Th time there. It Has an 80 percent return rate . We keep running into the same people year after year

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Amazing Resort

Blau is one of the nicest resorts we have stayed at! the grounds are gorgeous. The staff there is really friendly. Everything you want in a resort is there. Lots to do for everyone! Would recommend it !

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Always happy to return to the Paradisus😀

This was our third visit to the Paradisus, and we still return home with the intent to return the following year. The staff at the resort really try their best to keep everyone happy. Many will often go out of their way to ensure that your stay an enjoyable one. Although the variety of food after 12 days can become a little tiresome, it does not disappoint. Book in advance if you want your time preference. The rooms are always clean, and the service is top notch. The beach is situated on a coral reef, so if you expect to wade out and still be in shallow waters, this is not the beach for you. It is, however, a snorkler's delight. The pre-dinner/show entertainment this year was definitely better than the nightly shows in my opinion.The Cuban guitar trios, pianists, violinists and vocalists were all a delight to listen to. I cannot say the same about the shows. All in all, this adult only resort remains our Cuban holiday resort of choice.

Playa Pesquero: Very nice place by Cuba standards

The part of the hotel I stayed in needed some updating. Was clean and the staff worked hard to keep it that way. Beach and pool were beautiful. Larger than the two hotels beside us. The food was also good by Cuba standards. Lots of variety in the larger buffet dining room. Service was good. Staff very friendly and spoke english well. Toronto had an ice storm the evening we were to return and the plane was very late leaving. Sunwing put us on a bus to the airport but about 10 minutes down to  [... read more]road they found that the plane had not left Toronto. They took us back to the hotel so we could have something to eat. I though this was nice because it ended up by a long night. The weather was great. This was a nice place for Cuba. Note this was a very quiet resort which is what I was looking for.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Freakin Awesome

The resort was amazing. Very clean. Beautiful cascading pools from different levels kept the water well circulated and clean. The only draw back was there is a lot of stairs on the way back up from the beach. The beach was fantastic even though the water was a bit chilly. Wind surfers, pedal boats, kayaks and catameran for the adventurous. The staff was "as usual" for Cuba friendly and helpful. Nightly entertainment for children as well as adults.
