Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Not worth the money we paid...

There were roaches in my room. The housekeepers did not do a good job cleaning the room. They did not make up the beds. We were not impressed with the food. The hotel looks nice and some of the staff were nice but others were rude. I had multiple issues with this trip and I'm still waiting for a response to my email and voicemail I sent to the Tripcentral agent.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Resort

Really enjoyed our 1 week stay at the Grand Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay, Jamaica last week. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff was amazing. We went to 4 a la carte restaurants, the Italian, Japanese, Steakhouse, and Gourmet, with the Japanese being our favorite by far. The beach was a bit disappointing as it consisted of several little cove areas, and one larger one. It's a rather large resort with lots going on. We would not hesitate to recommend the resort to family and friends based on everything they offer, and the excellent service. Catalonia Montego Bay: Holiday Inn Resort - Montego Bay, Jamaica

1. The resort is too old, over 50 years and is in dire need of renovation of the plumbing. It makes too much noise once it its flushed awakening the neighbours in the next rooms. 2. The Air Conditioning Unit is also old making a lot of noise when it restarts once the temperature rises above the set temperature. We couldn't sleep on the first night. 3. cleanliness of the resort was good and the rooms were very well kept. 4. The staff was excellent and the food was great.

Sunscape Splash: Friendly Jamaica

I had the pleasure of visiting this resort during our family vacation this year. I am not new to Jamaica as I have been many times, however this was a first for this resort. I can't say I will go back as I was disappointed with the lack of entertainment both during the day and certainly in the evening. The pools and hot tub shut down by 6 which was disappointing especially as there was nothing for after dinner and into the evening. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Nice resort !! Great people!!

Nice hotel !! Lots of beaches and great food ....... beachfront jerk hut is great lunch !! Air Canada reps were great to help with anything we asked. Would recommend this hotel foresure. Slot machines didn’t pay out lol

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Amazing Resort

We thought the resort was amazing and everything about the resort was outstanding. The staff could not do enough and the grounds and room was everything we thought it would be. I would recommend this resort to my friends and family. If I could, I would book again for another week. Overall, it was outstanding and relaxing.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Love this place!

I stayed on the luxury side of the resort for a few days and loved it! The pools were great, miles of white sand beach, crystal clear water. The food was delicious, 24 room service included. My room was spacious and my balcony over looked the water. The night time entertainment was fun - karaoke and Michael Jackson impersonators were my favs. Can’t wait to go back! P

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great Week with Family

Great resort with very good adult pools and kids pool. Daughter liked the water park slides and they even had a foam party for the kids. Food was very good, better than other all inclusive we have stayed at and all the staff in resort are well trained to help and look after your needs. Excellent little coffee shop in Entertainment area that doubles as an ice cream shop so parents and kids both can get a pick me up in the afternoon. Catalonia Montego Bay: One of the best

Holiday Inn Resort, Motego Bay, Jamaica is one of the best we spend our winter vacation in and we travel Caribbean from St. Lucia to Cuba and everything between. Resort was very clean, very well taken care of, people and service was excellent, room was comfortable, and food was delicious. Entertainment from morning to late night for all ages. If you are looking for good swimmers beach you are out of luck. You can still swim but not long pats. Also the “Only adults” part with own swim up bar can satisfied people looking for more “quiet” time. I will recommend this resort to all my friends as resort which deserves much more recognition. Its 5 stars across the board for me. On top Natausha Margraf from TriCentral was very helpful agent and I will use her services for my next vacation.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: This is definitely not a five star resort!

A group of us stayed at this hotel for a destination wedding (about 90 plus people). This hotel claims to be a Royalton but I have stayed at a Royalton in Cancun and this is nothing compared to that. I will give you a few examples of things that went wrong. Upon arrival it was a mess! People that booked a suite did not get their room as paid for. My brother and his family paid for a jacuzzi suite with ocean view, that's supposed to sleep 5 people, was shown to a room with 1 bed and a pulled out [... read more] sofa for 5 people. He finally ended up with a second room with a connecting door. Still no jacuzzi or ocean view suit. We later found out that this happened to many people in our group, even the bride and groom! They booked a suite also (embassy if I am not mistaken) and was given a regular room. With all their luggages that they brought for their wedding they didn't even have space to walk in the room. They were told that their room would not be ready until Friday. We arrived on Tuesday and wedding was on Thursday. The bride and groom had to borrow their relative's room over at the blue water side on their wedding day to get ready. Now for my room, we did not book a suite but we did pay $7,400 for 2 adults and a 12 child. We were given 1 bed and a pulled out sofa that barely fit the 12 year old. We had a room that had a connector door to the next room. My husband went to open it and was able to go into the next room! We called in one of the staff to let them know what was happening and he worked on the locks but he could not get it to lock. We ended up just pushing the sofa against the door. Phoned never worked the whole time we were there (to order room service that was offered 24 hours). We were promised someone would look into it 3 separate times. No hair dryer or clock in our room. The first few days our room was cleaned every other day. When we asked about it we were told that house keeping was very busy. But they did give us clean towels when we asked for it. We did enjoy the exercise classes offered. Although one time instructor never showed up and no one can give, the 10 people that was waiting for the class to start, a reason why. Beach on the Whitesand side had rocks that was very dangerous. My cousin was injured and had to go to the hospital. She ended up paying $700 dollars for the visit. I myself trip on the rocks but luckily I was not injured. My sister and her son was on the beach and was approached by local vendors. I am assuming, and was offered weed. Needless to say my sister was not very happy that this was happening on the hotel beach. There does not seem to be any managements at this hotel. Employees seem to do what they want. I will give you a few observations. I was heading to my room when I heard a worker ask a guest to give him beer, employee drinking with guests and offering weed for sale, guests asking questions and staff saying I don't know. There was a lot of I don't knows during my 8 day stay. One morning my sister and I went down to yoga we saw a pile of vomit on the floor. Employees standing near by. An hour later we walked by still there. Employees nearby talking. We later walked by it again and thought someone cleaned it up. We were wrong guest have walked on it clearing the spot up! I will have to say my Cancun experience was very different from my Jamaica experience. I will have to think twice about booking with Royalton again. You should really listen to your guest. We observe so many complaints about this hotel while standing in the lobby of the hotel from your guest. Even the food was horrible. The bride made a comment that mirrors my thoughts "Is it me or does the food here taste all the same?" I would also like to let you know that there were good workers also especially in the coffee shop and the buffet.

Couples Negril: Another great week!

Fifth visit to Couples Negril and still loving it! Smaller quiet resort but no shortage of things to do. Great food, amazing beach and water, staff are attentive and friendly. Grounds and rooms very well maintained. No tipping policy is great and does not affect service (staff won't take tips even if offered). This is true "all inclusive": from airport lounge to shuttle service to resort there are truely no worries.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Not worth the price paid for

Slightly below average compared to other resorts visited... rooms were tiny for the price I paid, service was disorganized and slow, amenities were okay/average/could be improved, dinner options were great but again, the service was incredibly slow

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Perfect place to stay

I really enjoy my vocation in grand bahia,everythng is perfectly design according to travelers comfort,all the people are working there are so helpful amd polite,perfect buffett and alot options for vegetarian people as well.overall very good experience.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Family Resort

This resort is a good size for families - everything is very centrally located. Food and drinks were plentiful and staff managed the number of guests well being it was March Break. Beach is very shallow and you can’t really go for walks. There are a number of small beaches, but lots of reefs so you can’t swim out far, but there is good snorkeling. The pool is shallow and on the small side, but fun for the kids. The paths around the resort are also narrow and short, so if you like to take wal [... read more]ks after meals etc., this resort is not set up for that. Room was fine, but the bathroom was tight - really only one person at a time can be in it. Would definitely recommend this spot for families with children ages 2 to 12. If you want to travel as a couple, there is an adult only pool and beach. We only ate at the buffet which had lots of choice for everyone. The many snacks bars are also great. Being 10 min from the airport is a huge bonus. We would return!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: aweful

Where to start about this hotel. 24 hour room service?? Maybe if they picked up the phone but mosty they didnt bother answering. If u got someone to actually answer then you will wait anywhere from 45 min to an hour. Food is aweful when it arrives anyway, cold. Restaurant food was aweful, the italian was the only chance for a decent meal. Service did not exist outside of restaurants. So if u want food between buffet and dinner good luck. Burgers and fries u might find but u will wait for it 45 m [... read more]in again. Now to the rooms. (We were part of a wedding group of 50+) most phones didnt function, many rooms including mine had their safe smashed open before we even got into our room, hit water didnt work at all first night ( some didnt have water at all) second night it was only hot!?. Beach was great weather was great. In other words parts that were under the hotels control was good. I would never come to this hotel again.

Melia Braco Village: Very Enjoyable week

The hospitality was great. Food was good, rooms were very clean. The beach was a little disappointing -- water shoes were handy as wash in from reef was hard on the feet. Always clean towels available. Only one day we had trouble finding a lounge chair on the beach.

Rooms On The Beach: Great price

Beautiful beach , good location , clean, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Fresh fruit and muffin and more, was a perfect breakfast for our family. Excellent driver = Morgan was trustworthy, dependable will take you on any excursion you want for a fair price.

Mangos Boutique Beach Resort: Perfect place for rest and relaxation

My daughter and I just came back from a week at Mangoes and I can’t wait to go back. The resort is small, so it was easy to get to know everyone which allowed for lots of interesting interactions. The staff were amazing, the food was excellent and plentiful, the room was large, clean and spacious, and the beach was inviting with lots of natural shade. It is quiet. Legends Beach Resort: Wonderful experience!

Overall we love the place. It would been nice to have shampoo and pool towels as our room towels were just enough for room use. The food was good and beach wa fabulous. We liked the option of visiting the sister hotel. Having Time Square and the little shops was really nice to visit.

Sunset at the Palms: Famaica

The staff and management treat you like family. Always at home @ SATP. Nothing like it anywhere, if beach living in the Caribbean is how you want to relax and unwind than this is the place for you! It is small and intimate surrounded by nature.
