Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Seaweed on beach a major problem

The resort and the staff were very helpful with all needs or questions. Serving staff in the buffets were very good/quick and efficient. Specialty restaurants were great. One of the main reasons we go to the resorts in Mexico and other areas in the Caribbean is to enjoy the beach and the ocean. Due to the significant amounts of the seaweed which accumulated on the beach daily we were not able to enjoy the beach or the ocean. We can not recommend this resort to friends due to the seaweed issue.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A Relaxing Week

Just returned from Sian Ka'an. It has a relaxing vibe if you are looking to unwind. The pool at Sushi Bar has meditative music playing and beautiful sunny whirlpools to de-stress in. The food at this resort is excellent! Lots of variety and flavourful at every meal. If you are looking for a little more excitement, there is lively entertainment just a trolley ride away at Akumal resort in the evening and also good souveneir shopping at 'Hacienda.' Our room was a little dated and smelled a little musty but was clean and well maintained otherwise. The a la carte restaurants we tried were good and we especially recommend Dolce Vita for excellent Italian food--try the appetizer sharing platter--it is huge and delicious.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Resort is 5++

This resort was by far the best 5 star my husband and I have stayed at in Mexico. The service was top notch, food variety and presentation was amazing and the entire resort was so clean. The rooms were very modern and overall, many entertainment options to choose from throughout the day and evenings. We met a number of couples that were returning, not their second time but 5+ times. We will be back to this resort very soon. It’s a gem!!!

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Good

The buffet was okay only one restaurant a la carte available the animation was the same everyday only 1 place to go out always the same song pepeol very friendly the room was Always clean all kind of drink snak bar at the beach very cool

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Dream Vacation

The Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal met our every expectation. The impeccable grounds, the amazing service, the lovely pools and the calm ocean lagoon all contributed to a wonderfully restful week. The resort is massive but a regular trolley enabled us to get to every location quickly. We booked several restaurants the first day and really enjoyed the Brazilian and Seafood restaurants. Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Resort

Large clean resort. Staff very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Lots of choices for dining from buffets to a la Cartes with a huge selection of different foods. Shuttles will take you anywhere on the resort.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Beautiful Resort

The resort had the most beautiful views, just breath taking. Staff went above and beyond with their service and kindness. Food is amazing. The resort is spotless. Rooms were beautiful and beds were comfy. Loved it!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Wonderful Resort

Beautiful grounds, very clean, wonderful staff If your looking for a smaller resort this is your place. The views are amazing and rooms are beautiful. This is one of cleanest resorts we have ever visited. The staff is very encaging and evening entertainment was was great. Only 3 la carte restaurants, but the main dinning room have a different theme nights each evening. Unlike most resorts it wasn’t a problem to find a lounge chair either around the pool deck or beach. Yes as we were awhere no much happening beyond 10 pm but after all day in the heat and fresh air we were ready to crash. Lots of stairs but we didn’t mind those at all. Keeps one in shape. There are elevators to use if so inclined. Liked the fact that if you forgot something in your room it didn’t take 20 minutes to go back. Very nice small resort.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Such a fun & relaxing time!

This was our first time in the Dominican, and we had read mixed reviews about this resort. The room we started with was clean & nice, however we had no hot water. We called the front desk and they had us moved to a new room within an hour. The rooms were always kept tidy, and the fridge was always restocked. There were always carts around to give you a ride around the resort, although it is fairly small and easy to navigate. The staff was always smiling and welcoming! We did the catamaran and VIP beach tours and had a blast on both! The culture in the surrounding towns is amazing. The food was decent, many many options so it made it easy to always find something to eat. We met some amazing people on this trip, and enjoyed the shows every night. It was always sunny and beautiful, the grounds were kept neat and clean. We would definitely go back! It was a nice mix of adults, young adults like ourselves, and families.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Huge Resort

Bahia Principe Esmerelda is a small part of the Bahia Principe Resort which is 7 resorts in 1. The grounds are beautiful. Rooms are a little dated but clean. Beach is amazing. Buffets are smaller than other resorts I've been to. A la cartes were hard to get a decent time or get into them. Capucino machines should be 24 hrs just a suggestion. All in all we were going for sun and beach and we did get it and it was awesome.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Worth the price.

The rooms are becoming a little dated. The beach buffet could be improved. Very busy and not enough seating. Need to hit the beach and pool early morning to obtain chairs. Overall, the staff were very helpful, friendly. Well worth the stay. Food and drinks were good. Shows were good.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Best Resort I’ve been yet

Everything was great, the service was superb, the people were friendly and attentive, especially in the morning during breakfast always a coffee refill. The trip excursion was amazing, we went to the Selvatica, which my Son and I are thrill seekers, and it was a place to be if you’re not afraid of heights, if you are this is the place to conquer your fear. I had a wonderful time at this resort. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds were impeccably kept. Staff was kind, accommodating and had a great sense of humour. It’s a large resort, so if you’re looking for something more boutique it’s not the place for you. But we enjoyed riding the tram to get around and met lots of fun travelers. I would definitely go back. Bang for your buck!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great family resort!

This resort is huge - lots of great pools and beach areas. Great kids water park. Had a great time and would recommend this resort for a family trip. My son got an ear infection while we were there and they have a 24 hour doctor on site that was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Wonderful Resort

If you are looking for an Adult Only, small resort then this is the place for you.......there is always lots of staff to look after you and they are very friendly. For a small resort there are plenty of food choices. We look forward to returning sometime in the near future.

Bahia Principe Grand Samana Roulette: Absolutely Beautiful

We really loved the location of this resort - Bahai Principe Samana Cayacoa. A 45 min. drive from the airport brought us to a mountainside property with a lovely view of the town across the water. The choice of several different pools and 2 beaches made every day by the water a little different which was quite nice. Our room was standard Bahai-type room with a great view, large patio and was extremely clean. I loved the fact that the hotel never felt crowded and was pretty peaceful most of the time except for some lively entertainment in the evenings. Gran Bahia Principe is an awesome place for a vacation, staff is very friendly, food is good excellent beach and Jennifer Brown with Trip Central was awesome she was very helpful by being very knowledgeable about the resort and very prompt with the paperwork

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Expansive resort...Lots of choices

Very impressive and well kept resort. Covers a lot of area but with the onsite transportation system you can get where you need to go fairly quickly. We had asked to be on the south part of the Tulum section, but for some reason we got put in the North area. We wanted the south because of the quieter pool area, but instead we were close to the loud pool by the Tequila Restaurant. The room was fine but the pool was very LOUD during the day. Luckily it is just on the shore edge and the sand/palapa area are beautiful for relaxing on the beach. No complaints about food, as there were so many choices that there was always a great selection of foods. The housekeeping was great and we always came back to our room finding it neat, clean and ready for another comfortable sleep. This was our 3rd stay at Grand Bahia Principe and will definitely return.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful and amazing .

This resort is very clean, front desk staff not all were helpful . Food was good,empty tray on buffet table took along time to be replace,restaurants were good but not the Italian one will not recommend . Had a problem to arrange La carte dinner for my husband's birthday manager Raul went out of his way making sure we got what we needed. Overall good resort.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Satisfactory Resort

Beach was beautiful, can walk for miles. Nice location because it was not too commercialized. The only resort in the area that I was aware of. Few concerns that we didn’t care for.... When we arrived they put our kids in a separate building from us even though we requested our rooms to be close. Only 2 pools and too many young kids (noisy and splashing). No swim up bar.
