Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Just what we needed!

Great hotel, grounds, staff and beaches are prestine. Very large resort but they make you feel at home. The food is what you would expect in Cuba. The only down side is the distance from the airport.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Great Vacation

The seemingly endless beach was beautiful. The room, grounds and every other area were very clean. Only problem found was that toilet paper was always empty in public washrooms when required. Staff very accomadtating to everyone. Plenty of pools to choose from. Omletes were delicious. Great variety of other buffet items. Favorite drinks were Cristal beer and Habana Especial.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Great family holiday

Excellent resort to bring family and as we did meet up with family. The lobby area was a center for entertainment with drinks and specialty coffee bar. The central pool with a swim-up bar was great and the food around the pool was the better place for quick food. The À la cart restaurants had the best food but an omelet everything morning from the buffet was my go to. Grand Memories Santa Maria: Exceptional time!

Classy hotel, pool, beach, food, drinks; entertainment could be better though, was good a couple of times within our week stay but that's about it. We will remember our trip for long for sure however and are already thinking about a next one.

Starfish Tropical Cayo Santa Maria: Omg❤️

Thank you Tammy! We loved our stay ! Beach was stunning , one of the best we have been at. The food was great ! I mean great for Cuba ! Nobody got sick and the variety was plentiful. The resort was clean and safe! Beautiful flowers and blooming trees and shrubs , the smell was intoxicating , like perfumeries in the mall! We meet so many nice people and everyone spoke English or another language. Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: SUCH A GREAT PLACE......WE'RE GOING BACK!!!

We were at Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria March 6-8, 2018. It was an amazing trip!!! The rooms were great, the food was great, the service was great!!!! The beach was amazing!! The pool was great!!! It was the best resort I've been to!!! We had issues with the rooms when we first got there and within an hour or so it was all fixed!!! IMPECABLE SERVICE!! There were a few minor things, salt and peppers shakers usually empty, always ran out of ketchup, water at the restaurants not usually cold, no peanut butter, But these things do not make or break the trip by any means. Just want people to know so that they can pack this stuff if they really want it. Never any issue to get a lounger on the beach or at the pool. Drinks were always very good!!! No lack of RUM!! hahahahaa Our butlers were Yoel and José and they were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! Could never do enough for us. We like it so much.....we're booked to go again May 1-8, 2018!! Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Very good resort

We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Tulip ! The beach and waves were just heavenly, the room was impeccable, Lots of hot water in the shower, employees are so friendly, food in the buffet wasn't hot but very tasty. The food at the restaurants was very good but they did not have all the dishes on the menu. We stayed 2 weeks and noticed a huge change for the better in the second week. Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Beach lovely; food not good except the Cuban

The live music was amazing. The beach was so nice with lots of small translucent fish during low tide. The food was really not good except for the Cuban restaurant where it was delicious. Not service oriented. Room was clean but Beds not comfortable.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Two star hotel

Very disappointed with this resort.As a resort with 5 stars I was expecting much more.It was wors then others I have been with 3 stars. Food is disgusting,same every day .Only thing I did like was a beach.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: nice resort

beautiful and large beach. Great services. Good food. Will recommend to my friends. We ate at Continental and Bistro restaurants that were good. Enough palappas for everybody, anytime on the beach. Room was fresh paint.

Melia Las Dunas: My favourite place

The hotel was great staff amazing grounds were beautiful enjoyed every minute this was my 3rd stay at the melia and i plan on going back again great place for all ages raging from kids to teens young adults and familys

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful resort but food less than impressive

Just back from a week at this resort. The staff here is amazing. Never once did you feel like you had to tip to have great service. Courteous, professional and very hospitable. However, the one thing lacking is the food. You are afforded 3 al a cartes which were OK but the buffet is terrible. No selections, empty containers and under cooked meat. We are definitely not a picky eating bunch but when Brussel sprouts and stale bread are your meal at a 4.5 star resort something is wrong. Been to Melia resorts before and Cuba several times and this is definitely one we will not go back to.

Melia Las Dunas: Pretty good considering...

Okay... I'll make this short... I've been to Cuba about eight or nine times so far. So, I know what to expect. Considering that they are still recouping from a hurricane, the grounds were great. If there was something that I would consider a con, it would be the lack of bathrooms. I have a 5 and 6 year old and if we were eating in the buffet and they had to use the bathroom, we would have to leave the buffet and walk to the main lobby. Also, at the Family Pool there was only one small bathroom [... read more] and in the men's side, it was just a toilet and a urinal with the urinal out of order. The food wasn't the best selection that I've seen in Cuba and very inconsistent. I only saw bacon 2 days and they didn't have french fries until the end of the week. Again, it is what it is but, in the future I would probably choose another Resort before revisiting here.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Fabulous beaches for small kids

Friendly and responsive staff as usual in Cuba. Lobby alive with music and dancing at night, but there's not as much music or entertainment as Varadero resorts. Lobster, fresh fish and prawns best choices for food; a serious lack of green vegetables. A little less selection and more quality would improve buffet, but it is an all--inclusive and the beach is the real draw. Pirata restaurant a good one. Note that if you book into kids' side even if you don't have kids you aren't allowed into the ba [... read more]r, pools etc on adult/spa side. Ensenachos and Megano beach are both beautiful white sand, crystal clear water, calm and shallow so small kids can play without much supervision. Lots of palapas and bar service, plus activities - salsa lessons etc. Take a dip, feel the fish swimming around your feet and sip a mojito in the shade of a palapa.

Resonance Blu Santa Maria: Nope

Not what is advertised! I have traveled to Cuba a lot and this restort is not up to the stars it is rated. Unfortunately the resort is struggling with staff food and facilities. I have never had unhappy staff in Cuba, the exception to this is the pool bar staff.

Roc Lagunas del Mar: Great Resort

We recently stayed at the Hotel Lagunas del Este and we absolutely loved it. Can I just say what an amazing view! Definitely recommend this resort! Food was good, which is something I had some concerns about before going. They cook you fresh food in front of you or you have the buffet option. We fell in love with their crepes! The a la cart options were really good and you could even book them every day. The resort is well laid out; everything is within a five minute walking distance. The staff are super friendly and our rooms were always cleaned nicely. The drive to the resort is fairly long but its really worth it!

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Fantastic Resort

The resort is beautiful. Kept very clean The staff are wonderful . Its crazy go have your own butler....wow they would do anything for you to enjoy our holidays The weather was perfect and the bar tenders were very good. Nicest beach I have ever seen. We would definetly refer this resort

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful resort

I have really enjoyed spending time at this resort. The rooms are very clean and the staff is great. The beach is amazing. It is a small resort and it is very quiet either at the beach or near the pools. The food is good but, being a la carte, we have a limited choice of the meals being offered. Overall, I would recommend this resort but it is a bit far away from other activities (outside the resort) and the airport! Having the services of a butler for the week was great! Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing resort

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Very beautiful beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well maintained and very clean. Great variety of food choices. Would absolutely stay there again. Tour guide on bus on way there and back very informative and entertaining.

Complex to review 5 stars 1, Beach 2. Service (except front desk) 3. Maid service 4. Cuban entertainment every night - amazing 3 stars 1. Pools 2. Food (good for Cuba) 3. Shows/entertainment team 2 stars 1. Like all of Cuba 1hr cards have to be purchased for wifii :( 2. Front desk staff are awful - I wouldn’t hire them for anything? Weird this is the face of your resort :( 3. Big coackroach in our room on final night. Resort was good for Cuba!
