Memories Paraiso: Beautiful

My daughter and I stayed only one week here, and we had an amazing trip. The beach is absolutely perfect, the pools were clean and big. Lots of great staff, especially Alejandro at the pool bar who was just wonderful, and Andy in the entertainment staff, who really went out of his way to make sure we were having the best time possible . We also really loved the staff in Mediterranean a la Carte, which as it happens also had amazing food. The room was clean and the chamber  [... read more]maids lovely. The bad: We found the staff at the front desk to be cold and unfriendly, and very unhelpful. My daughter is asthmatic and we requested several times to be moved to a building closer to the main area as walking is difficult for her in such heat. We felt we were dismissed (come back later and check) (come back tomorrow after check out) despite it being the low season and there being plenty of empty rooms. My daughter required her ventillin inhaler more than I can ever remember. By the end of the week her breathing was so bad that she wound up having a severe asthma attack as we were getting off the flight home. Also, we requested a cart and bellboy to assist us with our luggage for check out, but they never showed up, we had to drag it all by hand accross the resort, while my daughter struggled to breathe, and nearly missed our bus to the airport. Other than the front desk, this resort is great. I would return simply based on the service we got from Alejandro and from Andy.

Memories Jibacoa: Exemplary

Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, professional and courteous staff, and the exceptional variety of Elliot prepared meals! The beach was very well manicured and felt very safe with the surroundings.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Good resort

Needs a little matainence but the beach is awesome. The beds are a little hard and the rooms need to be touched up anupgrade to the rooms would make this a true four star hotel. The staff was super nice!

Memories Jibacoa: Epitome of Luxury

Oh, what a lovely, perfect vacation. Every moment around the pool, and every top of the line restaurant, was thorough enjoyment. All was 5 star in my opinion. Rooms were large, clean and well air-conditioned. The only snag: THE BEACH - rocks everywhere and impossible to walk over. This was a huge and important factor. If beach is number one on your list of priorities, do not pick this hotel.

Grand Memories Varadero: Awesome vacation resort !!

Lots of activities during the day , staff , servers, cleaners , gardeners are all friendly , the office personnell acknowledges vacationers when they meet them , however i noticed that the Buffet manager is selective as to who he will greet and acknowledge :( during our one week stay never did i see him greet us only tourists that probably are frequent customers of the resort, i feel that shouldnt be the case, he has to still acknowledge all tourists either newcomers or regular customers,

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Absolutely beautiful!

Myself and my Wife visited Memories Splash Aug 30- Sept 6th, 2016. We had enjoyed every minute of our Vacation there! The Hotel is beautiful, staff was absolutely amazing, facilities were very clean. We enjoyed the food very much and especially the spectacular A la Carte restaurants- very, very impressive! The Splash Park was absolutely stunning, so much fun for kids/ adults. Memories Paraiso: not very good

Food at the buffet: The food was absolutely horrible. They served the exact same food every morning, afternoon and evening and didn't have many choices at all to chose from. At times, the meat they served at the buffet was either still raw, way over cooked that it ended up being so rough and the chicken tasted as if you were chewing on rubber. Resonance Blu Varadero: After 8 years finally a disappointment

We love Cuba and the people. The last 8 years in a row we have gone to Memories Varadero in September. We were very disappointed this year due to being inundated with a mass of Cubans for the week ends. These Cubans were pushy, filled there plates high and seemed to devour the buffet leaving very little. At the end of the weekend these Cubans filled bags with butter, bread, food also filled jugs with beer to take home. At one pool bar there was no beer for over 24 hrs. due to these Cubans.  [... read more] Also, there seemed to be less staff, we had lunch in an al-a- carte that took 2 hours due to only one wait staff on. We asked others from different resorts if they had weekend Cubans and they said no. So it appears it was only Memories. Diamond Club privileges meant nothing to the Cubans they used them even though not Diamond Club. Canadians beware.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Creating Memories

This hotel had very friendly staff and especially servers had amazing recall to remember things we liked (ie capacinno at night) and always had it ready for us. Worst part was lack of hot water in hotel rooms

Memories Azul Beach Resort: worst resort

This Hotel it's the worst I saw in Cuba, I have been 4 times in Cuba, the 3 first great vacation, but at Memories Azul Beach Resort, the reception very poor in customer services, people working in reception, without any manners, I didn't like it at all, bar and beach were okay, but Buffet... waitress always mad, and very bad attention, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for someone bring water or juice, never offer coffee, we have to stand up and serve our self , coffee machine without cups, no su [... read more]gar on tables, no salt, etc, HORRIBLE experience, 99% of clients were Cubans, and they were very laud, after midnight screaming at the hallways, early in the morning same thing, so I never recommend this hotel to anybody, never come back again.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Memories Flamenco Beach Resort.

The resort was fantastic,the grounds are very kept up, the staff was always very courteous and always had a smile. the pools and beaches were great except for the rocks on the shoreline of the beach, wear your rubber shoes. sometimes you may have to change rooms for problems due to water that is always hot, noisy fridge and air conditioner, but we changed rooms without difficulty. the buffet was exceptional and desserts fantastic. Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Horrible

This was the worst vacation ever. No hot water or air conditioning. The staff was rude and favoured their own nationality. The only great thing about this place is the beach. Not worth the stay even with the cheap Prices

Sol Turquesa Beach: Could be a 5 Star Resort!!!!!!

This was a leisure trip for me. The best thing I could have done for myself!!!! * Chrystal clear blue water at the beach. Went out for miles and miles and still was not deep. Loved the snorkelling by the way. * Pools were amazing. More then one to choose from. The pools also had there own waterfalls - breathe taking. * Staff were so friendly; right up until my last day. There is a juggler at the pool bar. I could have watched him all day long as he was amazing. The nightly entertainment whe [... read more]n I watched it was nothing but professional. * Food was ok. Loved the La Carte's. Your entitled to 3 during a 7 night stay. * Rooms are huge and bright with a great package price. Please Note: There is a lot of waking and red ant with mosquitos. There is a shuttle to drive you around the resort, however did not always show up when called for so did the long walk to Main Lobby anyway.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Great Resort

This is our second trip to this resort, it has everything you could ask for to have a great vacation. Great food, clean and above all amazing staff. They make you feel like family from the time you arrive until you leave. I'm counting down the days until our next trip.

Resonance Blu Varadero: good resort

I had a great vacation at this hotel but some things could have been better. For one the workers there are great! Very polite and just over all good people. The gardeners upkeep the grounds very great. The activity pool was very clean the other one wasn't so much but spent most of my time at that one tho because we met so many nice people and was a very fun time. The food wasn't the best but some foods were really good . loved the Japanese a la carte restaurant. Great shows held at the theater.  [... read more]The ocean was absolutely amazing and beautiful! The least I liked about this resort was my room lots of mold starting top and bottom the bath was worse then the one I have at home the toilet barely flushed and I had 3 beds in there when my husband and I should have gotten a king size instead of 1 single and 2 twin size. But overall I had a great trip and I would go back but I would upgrade to a suite.

Grand Memories Varadero: Nice Cuba Resort

Food was good, room was clean and we were near everything. Animation was good compare to other resort i am been in Cuba. Staff were friendly. Show at night enjoyable. Drinks is like anywhere in Cuba they need more varieties.

Memories Paraiso: A Perfect First Family Vacation

We were very impressed with getting a freshly squeezed orange juice upon arrival at the resort. The rooms where always cleaned, the maid service was too cute with the towel animals our sons loved them and so did we. During all of our meals we were always greeted with a friendly face and smile, no always approached and drinks always offered, The lazy pool was wonderful since the bungalow was right beside it. All the events that the resort had; toopy and Bino and the Bernstein Bears, disco night and the impressations were perfect. The beach was to die for white sand Warm waters and the bars plus the music , that we went every day that we were there, There was one chef that was there and he made the best fried eggs they, were perfect every time he made them. We had a favourite bartender "Rey" he was too cool A favourite service I can't remember her. We did not have a hard time staying but we had a hard time leaving the resort because we didn't wan t to go home haha. On our last day as my family and I were leaving our room. I stopped and looked around at everything that I experienced that week and smiled saying I will miss this place, I must come back !!!!!

Memories Paraiso: My favorite resort

It was my 5th stay at the hotel:amazing beach,excellent service,decent food.Everything is located very convenient.Special thanks to Customer relationship manager Nancy Gonzalez for taking care and meeting all our expectations. Will return for sure again

Memories Jibacoa: Pleasant but not outstanding

My fourth time at the resort. Some improvements have been made but other areas are very tired and in need of repair and updates. The food wasn't as good this time - it was better a couple of years ago. The staff are as always friendly and welcoming. All in all a good resort but not wonderful anymore.

Memories Paraiso: Memories Paraiso Azul

Friendly and helpful staff. Fair value for your money. Desserts are very tasty with a large quantity. Savory part of the buffet is a bit bland and gets boring after a while. Nice evening entertainment.
