El Dorado Maroma: Tired in need of multiple repairs

The restaurant staff is what makes this place fabulous, management could use a retraining! This resort does not represent trip central at all! Were Constantly harassed of time sharing to get perks, not memorable! Also did not get the room I expected after paying an upgrade ended up in original room before upgrade Monique was awesome she jumped hoops for us

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Nice resort.

It was a very large resort easy to get turned around.The buffet was well stocked .The staff friendly. A little bit of a language barrier.But with a little persistent things were usually figured out.The rooms were spacious and clean. We requested a ground floor but found it damp.we asked to change rooms and the request was granted on the second day.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Would definitely go back

This hotel was well maintained and staffed with very friendly and helpful people. It was not a party hotel and provided for a laid back and relaxing time. The food was very good and the bars were well stocked. My only suggestions are these: they should have a map of the building posted here and there as navigating to and from the elevators was not simple at first. The Lola Beach should be fully accessible ( I have MS and use a walker and was not able to go in and finally , maybe more s [... read more]eating in the main foyer where there is a nice bar but not much seating. These were not make or break issues just a few things that could be improved upon. I would recommend this resort to friends and would happily go back myself.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Nearly perfect!

We spent a week here and had a wonderful time. So much so that we didn't feel the need to leave the resort. The food, drinks, activities, ambiance, and the guests were all a pleasure. We stayed in the garden view suites which in hindsight was a good choice because I could imagine the ones that are facing the beach and closer to the amenities could be loud. The food was great, and with the slightest bit of planning you can get everything that you need. The main buffet is smaller than some of the [... read more] larger resort buffets but they have theem nights and we were happy with the selection. The beach is small and there is a crew there the entire time removing the sawgrass. We still quite enjoyed it, and a short walk out there are schools of fish. The resort is beautifully kept, peaceful, and I could see myself back again.

Riu Palace Pacifico: It was an amazing resort.

The hotel was like a palace. Beautiful, clean, spacious. The grounds were beautiful and the view stunning. The food was amazing, however having to be gluten free I feel things could have been labelled better in the buffet. The staff and service was above and beyond.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing staff!

The Hacienda at Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Our stay at The Hacienda

The Hacienda at Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta offers a peaceful, adults-only atmosphere that stands in pleasant contrast to the livelier main resort. The Hacienda side has "jungle-like" landscaping and a quiet, relaxing vibe. The Food: Dinner quality was mixed but overall good for this price point. The breakfast and lunch buffets on the Hacienda side were very good. We used the QR code system to book each morning for that evening without issues or lines (takes under 5 mins. to book). Standout Service: The staff are this resort's greatest asset. Location: The resort is about a 15 minute drive from the airport. It is conveniently located near the Cruise Ship Terminal and a Walmart for essentials. Within walking distance to two shopping malls. Downtown Puerto Vallarta is a quick 10-15 minute taxi or bus ride away. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Relaxing, Rejuvenating, Restorative

Yoga 2-3 times a day in a beautiful space overlooking the ocean, snorkeling and swimming with turtles and other beautiful ocean life, paddle boarding in the ocean breeze. Excursion left us with a deeper understanding and connection to historic and spiritual sacred spaces within the Mayan civilization and their ancient traditions and ways of life. Grand Oasis Riviera: Not worth it!!

To start with the $125.00 cdn for the environmental fee, ridiculous. The fact they only give you a couple bottles of water and coke in your mini fridge the first day and then you have to pay if you want anymore. Buffet breakfast is terrible, burnt to a crisp bacon everyday. No entertainment at all unless you eat at Mexican restaurant then you can hear a Miriachi band. Not worth the money, would never go back

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Great Fun For The Family!!

very clean and friendly hotel- lots of fun things for the kids!! Entertainment and waterpark are a lot of fun. The food was really good too, everything felt like home. The pool is always happening with music and activities.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Great resort!

From the moment we arrived in the vast and luxurious lobby, to the moment we left, the service at Ocean Coral and Turquesa was top notch. We had a great experience at checkin while being offered drinks from the bar (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), the valet showed us to our room and carried our bags. Since we arrived late we were exhausted, after appreciating our extremely clean room, we fell into a very comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The next morning all was bright and sunny and already ab [... read more]out 28 degrees. All ready for the pool we had breakfast and proceeded to the Pool. We are typically beach people, however the sargassum sure was making certain that was not possible. However that was to no fault of the hotel, so we became pool people! And we are so happy we did! This hotel pays attention to everything! Staff would see you in a hallway and ask if all was well, could they do anything. Like, just because. Throw in the number of restaurants and bars, amenities, activities and you never have to leave the resort. But you will want to with all of the excursions available! All in all, I would give this resort a thumbs up, 5-Stars, and a high recommendation.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Great resort except for Restaurants reservation

The Barcelo Maya Palace is a great resort with a superb beach. The Hitel Staff at the restaurants are very nice. The food is varied but at the buffet restos the food is often cold, they should have a better system to keep the food hot. The biggest problem of this resort is the A La Carte restaurants reservation process. It is very frustrating, it is an abrasive lengthy process and you don’t get the restaurants you want at the time you want

Villas HM Paraiso Del Mar: Alll good!

Everything was fine, except for some minor issues with check-out and airport transfer. Sanwing could have handled this more efficiently or at least responded to inquiries by phone or via website chat. Everything is included, but the constant signing in the registration forms is just annoying!!! Why sign for something that's already paid for! And the noise—the neighboring building was under construction all week. We lived like we were on a construction site, with a chainsaw, a circular saw, and  [... read more]all sorts of other tools running. Basically, we lived on a massive construction site for seven days.

Paradisus Cancun: Beautiful Resort

Our stay at this all-inclusive resort was overall a really enjoyable experience. The property itself is spacious and beautifully designed. At the center, there’s a stunning open-air area with a glass roof, filled with lush plants that give the whole resort a tropical, relaxing atmosphere. There are plenty of seating and lounging areas throughout, making it easy to find a quiet spot to unwind. The food was a highlight. While some options are more on the generic side, the overall quality is good and there’s enough variety to keep meals interesting throughout the stay. The beach area is spacious and well-maintained, with lots of lounge chairs available, so finding a spot was never an issue. The swimming pools are also large, clean, and perfect for relaxing or cooling off during the day. There were a couple of minor drawbacks. On the day we arrived, check-in took longer than expected—about 1.5 hours—due to a new administrative system and concierge team. Also, because the resort is so large, room service can be a bit slow at times. That said, the staff were generally helpful and the service overall was still good. The resort offers a lively atmosphere with events and activities scheduled throughout the week. One evening featured live music in the main lobby area until around 10 PM, which added to the energy, though it might be a bit loud for families with young children who have earlier bedtimes. Rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that kept everything in great condition. All in all, this is a beautiful, vibrant resort with great amenities, solid dining options, and a fun atmosphere. Despite a few small inconveniences, we had a really positive experience and would definitely consider returning.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great trip

Excellent trip to the Bahía Príncipe Explore Tulum. Weather was amazing. Resort was not busy so we had our choice of chairs at the beach or pool. They were constantly cleaning and fixing things around the resort while we were there. Too bad about the sea weed on the beach, they worked so hard to clean it up everyday but some days it was just too much for them! Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Great resort!

The resort was very clean and well appointed. The staff took pride in their work and were very friendly. The rooms were large and very comfortable. I felt very safe wandering the grounds. There were many dining options and the food was excellent. (Watch out for the $20 US bag of Lays chips!) We loved the beach and swimming in the ocean for a few days until the seaweed made it impossible. Riu Emerald Bay: You need to go here!

This resort is clean and well staffed with great service right from the start. The food here is absolutely 15/10. We really enjoyed the Mexican food options, fresh guacamole, and the seafood. We loved the sheer variety of food at every meal. The bartenders are awesome at both adult pools and it was never long to get a drink. The beach was beautiful with no problems finding a chair on the beach at all. Sometimes it was a little bit more difficult to find a chair at the pool, but we weren't too wo [... read more]rried about that. Pepe's food was a great option every afternoon if you were enjoying your time in the pool and not wanting to dry off. There were great options like tacos, nachos, burgers, fries, hot dogs, etc. Along with the staff being very helpful and attentive I also found just everyone in general at the resort friendly and there for a good time. I usually go to adults only resorts but there were lots of families there enjoying their time as well. There are two adults only pools where we spent our time along with the beach. I thought everything would be crowded and we would have to wait for food and drinks but I can't say it enough. This resort was so well staffed that you barely had to wait for anything and there was always enough food and drinks for everybody. I also found with the amount of guests at this resort I never felt like it was crowded. If you're headed to this resort also try a "dirty monkey" at the bar as well as a round of "mini beer" shots with your friends!
