Sunscape Curacao Resort: Amazing snorkeling

Spacious rooms, great snorkeling. Friendly staff. My son lost his sunglasses and book at the beach and was great full when they were returned to him the next day. Could use some new beach chairs. Great cocktails.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Nice Place

The resort is in a good area with a nice beach. Some minor cosmetic work would be useful. All the staff are very good but it's obvious they could use a lot more staff. Wait times for drinks at the bar or service in the restaurants can be long so you have to be patient. The local bus stop right in front of the resort is handy for going into town and back. Short walk to Mambo Beach.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great vacation

The resort was a average resort giving it a 3.5 The beach was good with great snorkeling right on site just a swim out from shore. The food was good but buffet was to be desired as most of the time the food was not much more than warm. The restaurants were much better to eat at. The entertainment was poor. Daily activities were offered but most people did not participate. It is a kid friendly resort with kids activities. Room was large and fairly modern. Sunscape Curacao Resort: Beautiful Country

All 8 in our group Absolutely loved Sunscape! If you are looking for a fancy, ‘wow’ resort then this place is not for you. If you are looking for cleanliness, excellent food, friendly service and a beautiful beach then look no further. Loved that there was amazing snorkeling right at the resort beach, loved that no one harassed you to buy this or that and the a la carte restaurants were sooo good with top notch food. Walking distance to the famous ‘Mambo Beach’ and the aquarium. I would go back in a heartbeat! I have travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean and this was excellent value.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Loved my stay!

Although the resort is not new, the rooms, public area, etc. Were very clean. The a la carte food was very good. The buffet breakfast was great but the other buffet meals were lukewarm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is a safe place and my sister and I felt very at ease.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Resort was very clean and food was amazing. The beach was excellent. No complaints. A very quiet resort. Mer my expectations. I will recommend this resort and possibly return.

Kunuku Aqua Resort: Great Holiday

My wife, our two children (10 and13) and I just returned from a seven day, very relaxing stay at the Kunuku Aqua Resort. The kids loved the pools and slides and were busy all day. The resort and room were very clean, comfortable and safe. The buffet may not have had a lot of variety, but it was plentiful and the kids never complained. We will definitely return.

Sandals Royal Curacao: Paradise

We stayed with a toddler and a baby - it was a perfect resort for it...quiet, clean, secluded and beautiful beach. The rooms were clean and big enough for all out ‘stuff’. The food was great, a variety of available options for everyone’s taste.

Plaza Beach Resort Bonaire: Would love to return!

Quiet, comfortable and big rooms. Closest quality snorkelling ever... literally 3 metres from water entrance. New pool and other improvements underway. Service, food and drinks very good. Close to town and next to airport though very little noise from it. Dolphins were sighted while there. Divers go right from the beach or pier too. What a spot!

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great stay

Hotel was clean and though a little older it was well maintained. Staff was friendly and professional. Nice beach and great snorkeling. Entertainment could have been a little better. We had a great family vacation. Relaxing as you want it to be, but there is stuff to do if you want some adventure. Would definitely go back.

Sonesta Maho Beach: SMB hotel

Loved the hotel, grounds were spotless the people that worked there were super helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned every day, the food was ok, but that all depends on ones expectations. Lots of activities on the property, especially for the children. Wonderful place, I would go back there anytime. When it came to cocktails they are very generous with poring, no shortage there. Had a great time.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great Vacation!

Overall we had a great time at the Sunscape in Curacao. The resort has a tower section with newer and updated rooms but there are also older sections and the rooms are in need of some updating. The beach is private which is very nice and there was a lot of room for everyone. The fish are beautiful and swim right up to the shallow water but lots to see near the rocks. Food was amazing. Reservations were not needed at most restaurants other than the Japanese restaurant which is a MUST. All of our meals were very good and above average for sure. There were plenty of beach bars but we found the best one to be the Oceana Bar throughout the day. Kenneth was the bartender everyday and he is outstanding. Overall with some updating of rooms this can be a top end resort but we had a great time. Curacao is a beautiful island and the people are very warm. Sunscape Curacao Resort: Very good family resort

We loved this resort for snorkeling right on the beach. There was not a lot of night life and partying so we really liked that as we have a 4 and 6 year old. We also rented a car and drove the island one day which was fairly easy with maps.me to navigate us. The excursions were quite pricey with a family of 4 so that is why we rented the car. The food was okay but very repetitive and we were very disappointed that there was no seafood in the buffet. When you come to an island you expect some seafood in the buffet. You can purchase a lobster dinner for 2 for $160 which I believe is the reason they don't put it in the buffet so that people will purchase it.. Overall a good resort and would recommend it but we would try a different resort if we went back to Curacao.

If you are looking for a small & quiet resort with a beautiful beach - Sunscape Curaçao is for you! Pros: Beach, crystal clear water, relaxing, quiet, and friendly staff/service. Cons: Not enough beach loungers for the number of guests, & some issues with the hot water/toilet in our room. Sonesta Maho Beach: You will need a lot of patience...

This is far from being a 5 star hotel. First, they will make sure to let you know that you’re the « poor » guest of the resort. Ocean point has access to the same grounds (adult only) so it’s not like we have a choice of going there if we have kids... they have the basic of basic alcohol. VERY poor selection. As for the service, there are the usual extremely helpful staff but there are also the very angry ones. I’ve never been this badly served by angry waiters and bartenders in my life... I would say spend more and go elsewhere but it’s not like this vacation was cheap to begin with... I could have gone to many 5 stars for the same price if not cheaper and gotten a much better experience...

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great trip!

My husband and I were traveling with two 7 month old twin girls as well as two other couples. This resort was very quaint compared to others we have stayed at, and we enjoyed every minute. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were having a lovely time. The rooms could use some updating however they were very clean. There really was no night life on the reso [... read more]rt with the exception of the casino however, you could easily find nightlife outside of the resort as the island was easy to Navigate. One area that left much to be desired was the lack of chairs on the beach. For such a small resort, they really should have more chairs available. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would go back again!

Sunscape Curacao Resort: quiet retreat

beach and swimming area great, facilities were a bit dated. staff was friendly, food was good, but not 5 star. safe was able to travel around island by rental car, took city bus into downtown. if you are looking for action, this is not the place. want to kick back for a week, you may just love it

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Has gone down hill!

It was my 9th time on the island of Curacao. I normally visit curaçao or Aruba every winter. It was my 3rd time at sunscape property and I must say it was very disappointing and will probably never return. Where do I start... 1.The Room was large and clean however the shower wouldn’t drain and most importantly we had NO hot water till the last day. Washing long hair in freezing cold water was a nightmare!! 2. The alcohol was super low budget!! Brands I had never seen or heard of!! I had  [... read more]canned pop, bottled beer or champagne all week. The juice/mixes we in unmarked jugs and looked untrustworthy! 3. Food was not the same quality as past visits! Best place all week was the Japanese restaurant. Honestly, I’m normally not to picky but if I had to compare this vacation I would compare this to Cuba standards!!! If I wanted cuba standards, I would have paid Cuba prices and received Cuba quality. 4. Some staff were super helpful and kind but most, treated you as if they were doing you a favour. 5.entertainment was good and the staff worked very hard 6. I had a daily alarm set for 6am to ensure we had a beach hut and shade. Although, that was annoying the Beach was nice, no complaints Doesn’t this all sound like a relaxing vacation?! Kunuku Aqua Resort: Great family hotel

Kunuku resort is a quiet hotel with a lot to offer! A lot of slides and pools for kids, very clean grounds, good food and free transportation to some of the nicest beaches on the island! I would go back!
