Hyatt Vivid Cancun: Lovely resort

Nice place, clean and modern! The Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Amazing pools especially on a rooftop are unforgettable memories. Food, drinks and service were great in restaurants, bars and other facilities. A small issue was with housekeeping one day, they missed to clean room but when I called they sent immediately a housekeeper. In general the stay was enjoyable!

Dreams Los Cabos: Save Your Money Folks!

We chose Dreams because we stayed at another property and had a great experience. We paid for the Preferred Club although we definitely did not feel preferred at all!! Overall experience was average, so save your money folks! Pool towels and chairs are reserved all day; there is a policy to remove unattended items after 30 minutes, but it was not enforced. Food at the a la carte restaurants was good, but there was a 2 hr wait if you were not first in line at 6pm. Entertainment was okay, but they [... read more] start it at 6pm and 830 so you have to decide eat or entertainment; also need a few other options - there's a live band, nightly show, karaoke; could do a trivia night or newlywed game. Some staff went above and beyond - Juanito at Oceana restaurant, Gabino at Seaside Grill, Lily at Preferred Club beach bar, and Noel from room service.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Dreams Tulum

The hotel grounds were beautiful. Buffet 7/10. Entertainment 8/10 great musicians and not your standard cheesy stage performances. Beach a 6/10 seaweed was bad. 9/10 room service. Cleaning lady 9/10. Wouldn’t go back because of the restaurant food.

Dreams Huatulco: Outstanding Resort

Dreams is perfectly located near the airport and the local town. The resort is amazing and the food is fantastic. Sometimes only certain restaurants are open but there is always something going on. If you are a planner, use the app to plan and go to all the restaurants. Beach is awesome and there is snorkelling, kayaking, sailing available - great swimming beach. Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana: Amazing resort

This hotel was clean, house keeping provided the necessities twice/day, although restock of mini fridge was inconsistent. Ground were beautiful and well kept. All staff were friendly, always helpful. Food was excellent in buffet and a la carte options for everyone and accomadating for large groups and allergies. Entertainment was top notch. Kids loved the water park, pools and beach.

Dreams Natura Resort and Spa: Would not come back to this resort

Our family was at the Dreams Natura March 18-25, 2024. The resort was beautiful but there were some issues that had I known, would have changed my mind to vacation at this resort. We travel with our kids (9 and 12) yearly to a 5 star resort. We always try new resorts every year and this was our first Dreams. I will start with the cons. There are not nearly enough chairs for the number of people at this resort. I went down the first day at 7:25am and I walked the entire pool area and found the l [... read more]ast 4 chairs and they were in the water on the ledge of the pool which meant zero shade. The next day and all subsequent days, I set my alarm for 5:50am in order to get decent chairs with umbrellas around the pool (did not want the small kids pool area). Not once could I enjoy a sleep in because there would not be chairs available if you were not down before it was light out. Most resorts, if you don't go down early then you don't get the best chairs, but you still get a chair. This resort, if you don't go down early then you literally don't get a chair. This in my opinion is completely unacceptable especially when we are paying this much money to vacation. And to piggyback on the lack of chairs, this resort is a wedding factory and every day they have a wedding (which was 5 days while we were there), they start removing the chairs and umbrellas around the infinity pool. They set up a glass walkway and standing area on top of the pool and this is where the weddings take place. It took away the majority of the pool all afternoon and most of the pool deck where people sit. Secondly the seaweed was rarely picked up on the beach and there was a lot of seaweed. Not once did a tractor go by the entire time we were there to pick up the seaweed. I even have a video of the workers shoveling the seaweed back into the ocean instead of removing it which was something I had never seen before. The two Royalton resorts next to ours had tractors raking the beach and picking up the seaweed. We had to go down to their resorts to swim in the ocean. So if you are a beach lover this is definitely not the resort for you. Also very minimal seating on the beach unless you are preferred club. Thirdly, only 1 of the 3 water slides was operational all week. My kids were bored after a few days on one slide which you needed tubes for. So not only was there line ups for the slide, half the time there were no tubes to even use the slide or the lazy river. Fourthly, when you go to the lobby for a drink before dinner, there is no music at all unless you wait for the entertainment to start at 8pm. It was super quiet and a little boring. We are used to going to the lobby for a couple of drinks before dinner and there is a piano player or music making it a lively place to meet. Now for the pros. Resort is extremely small, so if you have younger kids it feels a little safer for them to run around. The kids loved the lazy river. Most of the time you could not find a tube to go in it as they are shared with the water slide, but we still swam around it many times without the tube. Restaurants are all in the same vicinity which is nice. You don't need to make reservations unless you do the hibachi. You go and if there is no room, you get a beeper. The wait time around 6:45pm if you went was about from 0-45min which was good. I really enjoyed the food at the a la carte's We went to the Asian, Hibachi, Steak, Italian, Seafood (not the best for kids they ordered room service after) and one night at the buffet. We normally enjoy the buffet for lunch but found this buffet really did not have as much selection as we are used to and not having a pasta station was a problem with the kids. This is the first time out of my last 9 vacations that I can actually say I was disappointed with the resort we chose. Not a bad resort, just not a memorable resort

The food quality and variety were both excellent. Each member of the Resort staff were friendly and very helpful when required. Plenty of seats at the pools and beach. The rooms and grounds were well maintained

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana: An excellent resort for a family!!!

This place is a spectacular resort and it is the perfect place to go with a family. We had 3, two 8 year olds and four adults and everyone had a great time! ALL the staff were just so kind, genuine and lovely. (and I mean literally ALL staff!!) Excellent location with multiple pools are perfect to take the kids each day without them getting bored of same pools. The entire resort is prestigious and absolutely well kept at all time. A huge extra shout out to Moises who works at the water slide pool. He is absolutely THE BEST person you will ever meet and both my family and our friends family are thankful to meet him. The taco truck was an extra treat for us and I still miss my fish tacos!!! Restaurants were pretty nice and the food was good. My family are huge foodies and we love our food. Some of the foods weren't prestige- top notch, Michelin star quality/taste but they were good enough to enjoy and have a good time. Everyone at this resort works very hard. They treat every guest as if they are their own family members. We weren't a preferred guests, but we didn't notice anything different or didn't feel like we were lacking something- so to be honest, don't go spending extra money for "preferred" package. One negative experience would be doing the dune buggy excursion, and it was really a waste of money. The dune buggy was not safe (the break didn't work lol) and the "cave" is just a little area where it's all man-made. That was the only thing we didn't really enjoy to be honest. Every night, there was an event which was quite entertaining and it's just fun walking around enjoying the scene. The kids enjoyed it too and bonus part is every night before the main show, they always had show for kids which was perfect! The resort does not have any life jackets, swimming toys/equipment so make sure to bring floaties, balls, goggles etc for your kids. Also bring laundry clips to clip your towels to the chairs! Overall, this resort was an excellent place for our family to stay! I give them 9/10 overall and I would definitely stay here again!!!

Resort was lovely. All staff greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. Food was fantastic except one night we had to wait one hour for a pizza. There was a mix up in the room, we had paid for a room with two double beds and when we got to the room there was only one king size bed. They tried to give us a cot but told them that we paid for 2 doubles and this was not acceptable. After many phone calls they found us a room with 2 double bed. Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Nice resort overall.

First time staying at Dreams Royal Beach, we were in the preferred club with a suite (double the size of a standard room) which cost a bit more, but was really nice. The Preferred section is however quite far from the beach and most restaurants, so if you like walking, great. Otherwise there are golf carts that will take you all over the resort. The restaurants were on the small side, which usually meant waiting to get a table at any of them, but no reservations were required save for the seafood restaurant. The buffet was definitely smaller with less food options than what we're used to, but the food was adequate. Staff are great. One thing that really irked my wife and I was the loud music everyday, even at the preferred club poolbar, in what should be the relaxing part of the resort. And at some times it wasn't even enjoyable music, hard rock and heavy metal are not what we want to hear when we come back from the beach and want to relax on our balcony a bit before dinner. I called our butler to ask the bar staff to turn down the music and re-examine their song choices to something more in line with a Caribbean vacation, which was accommodated quickly. Thank you Emmanuel! Towels are not an issue. There's tons of them everywhere, no card required, use as many as you like. Beach chairs/Pool chairs are in somewhat short supply, get up early if you want to claim your spot for the day. Towels will be removed by staff from unattended chairs if someone else complains they can't find a spot. This did create a few uncomfortable instances where someone who went for breakfast returned to their seats and found someone else sitting there. My suggestion is to bring something more than towels, such as a book, hat, beachbag, suntan lotion, etc. to leave at your chairs if you plan to be away from them for a bit. Make your chairs look "lived in". I was up every morning at 7 am, grabbed some chairs on the beach, left some low-value personal items and never had an issue with losing our spot. The beach was excellent, not a rock anywhere, just sand, sand, sand. Awesome. Seaweed gets cleaned up daily with a tractor. Overall I would recommend. It was a nice vacation. In comparing it to the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana (which we've stayed at 6 times, and love) I'd have to say they're on par. Each has different strengths and weaknesses, but for the money, you'll enjoy Dreams Royal Beach.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

Dreams Sands was just wonderful. I loved our room facing the ocean, the pools and beach so close by. The buffet was the best we have ever eaten at in all our travels. I was using a cane and everyone was very helpful and kind to me. The service was also the best we've had, staff was so attentive and did their jobs so well. We are planning to come back next year! Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Living the Dream

We had an amazing time at the Dreams Royal Beach Resort. The staff is extremely polite and welcoming. The amenities are very clean and it lacks for nothing. We had the chance to stay in the Preferred Club section and it was definitely a level of care and attention that we had not previously felt at other similar Caribbean resorts. The Preferred Club gives you the service of a dedicated butler and we were very well served by Natali who was attentive to all our requests during our stay. The server [... read more]s are extremely professional, special mention to Nelson M. and Leonardo for their attentive service and the magnificent Esteban at Asian Fusion. A last word on their 2 tennis pros, Francis and Marcos, they bring such enthusiasm to what they do and the clay courts are superb to play on. We would definitely come back, we felt right at home from the moment we walked in.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Great family resort

This resort exceeded our expectations. While it is a 4-star resort, we have found it better value for money than some of the 5 stars we’ve experienced in Mexico. Recommended for families, couples will likely prefer adults only.

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Great Vacation Resort

Our family had a great vacation at Dreams Sapphire. The resort was great on all fronts. The resort is not huge, but there are sufficient restaurants for a week and lots of activities during the day and evening. The food was good and I appreciated not having to make reservations for dinner - the teppanyaki table was the only one that allows reservations and was definitely worth it. The only downside was that people got up early to reserve pool / beach chairs and trying to get towels - they seemed to be in short supply in the mornings. We learned to get fresh ones every afternoon for the next day.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Dreams Las Mareas was a hidden gem

Loved the whole experience: the staff was friendly, the food options were great, the grounds and the beach were lovely for walking, the suite was spacious and clean, the monkeys and the birds were all over the place at the resort and plenty of excursions were available off site to see even more. The sunrise hike coordinated by the resort was a nice opportunity to see the area, it was a good little trek but pretty steep! Good idea to wear proper footwear ?
