Catalonia Montego Bay: Awesome resort

Trip Central is the best travel agents that I have ever dealt with.. They look after everything possible as far as day trips and getting tickets printed for you. Awesome. Holiday Inn Sunspree has been the best resort I have been to. The food is excellent, rooms are very clean and comfortable, staff are so friendly and are ready to help in any way they can. Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas: Perfect Hotel

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas from February 22-29 2015. We were totally satisfied with this hotel. We arrived at approximately 12:30pm and thought we would have to wait till 3 for our room as this has happened in every hotel I've been in. However we were immediately given our room. We also requested a cot for the 3rd person and just as porter bringing our luggage into room the cot arrived. In other hotels in Mexico we have waited days for a cot. It was close to several shopping malls either a short bus ride or taxi ride away. And as my friends and I love to shop it was perfect. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and alcoholic drinks very good. We will return to this hotel

Catalonia Montego Bay: Nice family resort

The resort was pretty much as expected. Clean rooms, reasonable food. The beach is great with lots of little bays and the island is nice for families, as there is shallow water between the mainland and the island. Adults only area is great, although it would have been nice if they'd make exceptions for families like ours (my husband and I are in our 50s, our daughters are in late teens/early 20s and our son is 15). No one went above and beyond. Didn't like the extra charges (Japanese and additional menu at Seafood restaurant). Booking a la cartes was a hassle (needed to book a day ahead and often little choice). A la carte restaurants were good though. Pub was nice but singer pretty bad on the piano!

immaculate grounds,beaches awesome and very clean,buffet always awesome for breakfast lunch diner,never waited for anything,omellet guy PAUL is a fenom.Bar staff,Bell boys,lets say everyone were always friendly and courteousand willing to help.I will go back and recommend this resort to everyone I talk to.If you have kids,they will have the time of their lives.If your a single couple like my wife and I,you'll probably have the greatest time like we did.Just amazing!!!!!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Love this Resort.

Second year in a row. I find this resort great value for your dollar. People are friendly and go out of their way to help. As a disabled traveller it is perfect. Meet new friends all the time. Food is excellent. Been to high end resorts and I'm just happy to return to the Holiday Inn Resort.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Clean hotel, great food and friendly staff

The only down side was the beach. Very clean but not very long. No possibility for walks. Area for swimming also very small with shallow water but GREAT if you have kids !!! Very nice pool too !!!! Many snack areas along the beach as well

Holiday Inn Ixtapa: Any Time

We went to the Holiday Inn Resort in Ixtapa in January 2016. The accommodations, food, and service was very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I have to tell you the price was amaizing ! We got more then when we go to other resorts that are more expensive. Very was a very nice surprise there, especially in Janury when the temperature in other parts of the Carribien are on the cooler side and rainy. The temperature was 30*C everyday, even with overcast, when you engage in all kinds o [... read more]f activities without fear that you are going to burn. We swam in ocean every day (with all the other people) , even if it was not recommended. It was fun for us to play in shallow water with wavy ocean. Tripcentral was good choice too, because they offer Air Canada. I usualy even don't check AC website. AC flies out all the time, therefore we were able to pick any date we liked. Not everybody flies on the days that are conviniet for us. Location of resort is amaizing. It is on the best part of beach. On the other side is city, more like vilige, with amaizing restorants and some nice shops.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great resort!

Beautifully kept grounds the rooms were comfortable and very clean. My husband couldn't sleep on mattress provided and very quickly was given a different one...wow that's service! The dining was very nice great food and wherever you went whether it was food,drink,info or services ALL staff were very friendly and helpful! Koodos Holiday Inn thanks for the memories.

Holiday Inn Port of Miami: convenient location

The restaurant was great-nice sized portions for the price. Location quite handy with Bayside mall simply across the street. Great place to stay night before a cruise-as it was easy to ensure early arrival to the pier, as you are able to see the ships from the hotel window.

The all I can say everything was excellent.The food and the service was amaizing.We love the entertainment and it was just all around fun time.i would definitely like to return and recommend this resort to all my friends.It also was very clean place.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms great food. Beaches were ok. But there are better on the island. Room location was super. Quiet beach which was exactly what I wanted. Bathrooms all over the resort were very clean.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Beaches...but loud

We enjoyed our visit to Jamaica. The resort had some great aspects: family friendly, good food, nice rooms, great beaches, (mostly) friendly staff. Unfortunately, we found the resort noisy in the evenings. The entertainment is hosted in the main pool area which is central to the entire resort. Once the entertainment starts at around 7:00 p.m. it's impossible to have a conversation at the main bar, in the main dining area or in the two restaurants on the second floor. If you find the particular t [... read more]ype of entertainment being offered that evening appealing, you can pull up a chair and enjoy. However, if you are not interested, the options are to either walk in the dark on the beach or go back your room. For this reason alone we would not recommend this resort.

Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas: I wouldn't go back

Yes, price is right but the hotel, food and service are just acceptable, and I'm NOT a picky person, if you're planning to go on day trips and weather is nice then your just ok. Stuck at hotel? No way!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great beach!

The rooms were a little dysfunctional - small bathroom and air conditioning making a lot of noise and not fully functional. The beach though was awesome. As the second time around - I found the menus did not have much choice apart from the buffet.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great resort!

This resort is alot better than I thought. The beach is nice and calm. There's a Jerk Hut where you can get jerk chicken. Its really good! The rooms and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The Japanese restaurant is the best restaurant. Great show there! The resort is a nice size and there's lots to do (mini put, ping pong, pool, sailing). I would recommend this resort to other people!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Every service close and easily accessible!

Everything is easily accessible, restaurants, buffet, bars. Great New Year Dinner and Gala. They should hand out American Dollars at the Currency Exchange Desk. Using the ATM is too costy. Good variety of tasty food.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Value

We returned January 2 2015 from the best resort we had ever been too. Amazing value for the money. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Service in all areas of the resort was excellent and the staff were very enthusiastic. We are definitely returning next year!

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: great family resort for the price!

We were a family of 8 adults and 1 toddler visiting the Cabo area over Christmas and this resort met our needs. We expected to pay more over Christmas. Grounds and all areas of hotel were very clean, although rooms are getting a bit worn, especially bathroom tiling. Staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The drawback at this location is that the beach is not swimmable but there are 2 beaches nearby that we enjoyed swimming at...one a half hour walk a way and the other a 10 minute  [... read more]taxi ride away. Despite the Christmas season, we found this to be a relatively quiet resort as entertainment shut down by about 10:30. We frequented the a la carte restaurant for the most part and found it to be satisfactory. We did the omelette station for breakfasts. One does tend to get tired of the buffet. With 2 restaurants, we would consider dining options to be limited but we made it work for us, with the occasional meal off resort.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing staff

This was my 4th visit to this hotel. I find the staff so friendly, available and very helpful. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and pleasant. The hotel is very well maintained and delightful. There is a wonderful very well maintained beach.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great trip

It is a great resort, close to the airport but not close enough so that you hear the planes. There is 55 acres with lots to do for everyone. There are kyacks, catamarans, paddle boats all free for use. We never got out on the catamaran as it always seemed to be too windy when we wanted to go and yet the one driver took out his girlfriend when he just told us it was too windy. The junior suite is a 1000% better then the normal rooms or the ones we had anyways. I would go again.
