Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: a great week

lovely small resort. Perfect for quiet relaxation Stunning beach ,could use more palapas,sadly the seaweed piles up and there is one poor guy raking and removing by hand. A slow process but they do what they can Food was better than a lot of Cuban resorts and though the buffet here is small we never felt we couldn't find something to enjoy. Excellent coffee available especially at the cigar bar, Best cappachino and baileys and espresso martinis !! Wine was very good and never unavailable. We never noticed any real shortages here ! Our swim up room was awesome!! we were in building 4 which was central to the beach and the lobby/buffet area. Staff that we interacted with were wonderful and willing to accomodate our requests if possible. All in all I was very pleased with our stay at The Iberostar Coral Esmeralda !!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Interstate Daiquiri in Cuba

I can not express this enough-the staff members of the Daiquiri are Amazing. From the staff to the serving staff, to the bartenders and garden staff are so friendly and accommodating. The beach, for me, left a lot to be desired. The water is very “grassy” and did not give the water view I was looking for. The area is windy, which is great for the wind surfers and kite surfing. Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Excellent

This was our 4th time here. Expected things to be run down a bit over the years, but not disappointed at all. Food was great, grounds were immaculate, and the room was recently renovated. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Great Resort

Hotel is clean, staff are great, food is good, and beach is amazing! We loved this resort, had a wonderful time, and would go back. My mom required a wheelchair, and one was provided. Customer Service was great, and helpful when we needed towels, and a wheelchair. I would go back!

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Relaxing Week

This was our third time at this resort. It has a vey "chill" vibe to it. The beach is amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The resort is very clean. It never seemed busy, even though I was told the resort was at 90% occupancy. I strongly recommend this resort and will definitely return again.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Sunshine

Wonderful! Great Vibes! Excellent tribute to Michael Jackson Show will blow you away. Lovely Hotel, comfy beds, delicious Food, lively music, great beach with mini coral Reefs for Snorkelling. Heavenly sunsets, very relaxing and something for everyone.

Hotel Bella Costa: Just what we needed!!!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Great family vacation

The grounds, staff and rooms were great! The coffee shops were awesome and there was always chairs by the pool even at 10am. The buffet was good; it had a lot of variety but the options were mostly the same for lunch and dinner all 7 days. The gym was really nice and the pickleball/ tennis courts were never busy. The food at the La Geisha restaurant was delicious.

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Beautiful Resort

The amenities in the resort were 5 star. I had hot water. The room was excellent and we received toilet paper, towels and water daily. I got turned around on my first night and ended up at the resort next door and Dariel Gonzalez came to my rescue and helped me find my room. It was truly a wonderful resort and I would highly recommend it Cathy wheaton

I was very pleased with the resort, I had a great experience starting at the check in at the Lobby Jose Sarduy was very helpful changing our hotel to the ground floor with no complaints about the room just easier with my friends bad foot to do all the stairs. The security was great on the beach and all the staff were very friendly. Buffet servers were very accomodating and housekeeping was excellent.

The food was actually great tasting and had variety. The service workers were wonderful Jose at front desk, Karel in the sports bar, Elaina in the buffet. They were usually low on toilet paper but we had just enough.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: The perfect vacation spot

We stayed on the coral side. It was perfect! The people working were the best ! Everyone was so helpful and happy. We had everything we needed in our rooms and they were cleaned to perfection everyday. The buffet was the best I’ve had in Cuba and the snack bar was an extra bonus! We spent many afternoons at the snack bar and were pleasantly surprised with the food options and drinks. The beach was amazing! Lots of chairs and shade if needed.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great visit

Many evening restaurant options. Buffet had an assortment of foods. Really enjoyed the Greek restaurant. Lots of shops available. great 2 double bed room and sister stayed in a king room - both with terraces. Walk in shower amazing. Lots of water play options for my kid however lazy river needs more jets to keep flow. Wish there were snacks in the room and wished for evening swimming

My stay at your resort was wonderful… the grounds were beautiful, the beach and ocean are what I will miss the most … my grandsons wedding was beautifully handled by your staff… the food at your buffet was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive.. the restaurants were all very good except I was disappointed in the food at the French restaurant… not at all what I expected … the Japanese was superb with very talented chefs .. It was a very good hotel. They have excellent Food. Buffet had great selection. Service is great. Our major complain is the beach and the pools. There were so much seaweed that you can't swim. It looks nasty. I got rashes afterwards. We had to walk a kilometer away to find a nicer beach area. The pools are not well maintained. There were some ducks on the pool the first day we got there. I kept telling the staff there to clean the pool where the ducks are since it has something fo [... read more]amy floating around and leaves from the surrounding trees. After 4 days, the other pool was closed due to bacteria. The water looks like there are algae in the pool. We didn't use the pool anymore. It was still closed when we left. The tennis and pickleball courts are good. Easy to book and the court takes provides an excellent service. Unfortunately, around the same time when the pool got closed, they had a sewage issue beside the courts so the smell was so disgusting. We couldn't play for a couple of days until the issue was resolved.

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: Worth your money

The resort is amazing. Very beautiful landscaping. Great rooms, cleanand spacious. I love the tennis court and pickleball court The gym is great. Food is awesome, although some dishes were quite salty. Negative is, pool is dirty, can be improved,

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Trip was ruined by the weather - very strong wind

Visited Iberostar Origin Daiquiri April 16-23. BEACH: 1. Weather was sunny, the water was warm, but due to extremely strong wind (up to 40-50 km/hour) we felt cold on the beach and in the water. Heaven for kite surfers, but we did not enjoy our time on the beach. 2. There were NO water sports available, neither catamaran trip to coral reefs, due to the wind 3. NO corals for snorkeling from the beach, despite some comments 4. White sand in the water was only 10 meters wide with the grass fur [... read more]ther on. Not pleasant for your feet. It was a nicer beach about 2 km to the left at Sol Cayo Guillermo hotel RESORT PROS: 1. Small size of the resort, everything is close, many trails to the beach with showers on each 2. Tasty food: meat, chicken, turkey, fish, cheese 3. Comfortable rooms, nice balconies, quite air conditioning 4. Comfortable mattress and pillows 5. Good espresso 6. No mosquitoes (I guess, due to the wind) 7. No power outages RESORT CONTRAS: 1. Looks like the management is bad. 4 stars? REALLY? Nobody met us when we exited the bus. No welcome drinks as well. No bellboy/carts, we had to carry luggage ourselves. At least the receptionist described where our building is. No printed maps of the resort were given. 2. No soft drinks/beer in the fridge. 3. NO 110v outlet in the bathroom! We payed $20 a week for antique transformer for our water pick flosser 4. No normal milk, only milk powder. Cappuccino was awful. 5. Limited glass in the main bar. Coffee from the paper cups had a cardboard taste. Paper cups were not the quality of Tim Horton’s ones 6. Poor variety of spirits in the main bar. Better bottles (on the left, and on the right) for sale only. One evening (8 pm) they even run out of ANY cuban rum 7. No plates for the soup. Used paper cups 8. Ping pong set is garbage, especially rackets 9. Never seen a cigar bar open. 10. Music at the pool was very loud. In the lobby in the evening way TOO LOUD. People can not talk to one another. 11. Water with some kind of colour was displayed under the name of “juce” 12. La Marina restaurant was closed for renovation 13. Internet connections are getting lost often. Sometimes you need to go to the front desk, and complain, and they do something on the computer (my guess is to disconnect the other user) to let you in. 14. I don’t think they ever swept the floor in our room.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Great service and food !

We booked for a week at the Coral side. I recommend Coral to selection side if you are not going with kids.. Excellent service, great food (which was a surprise for Cuba), drinks and very good arrangements for evening entertainment! Rooms were nice and clean with ample bottled water available all around the resort. The only thing lingering not so nice in my mind is that while booking we were shown that we would be eligible for room upgrade subject to availability at the time of check in.. It would be even better with a better room Neverthrless, we got a very good deal and had a great time. Would recommend and if you book the Coral side you can roam around and enjoy the selection side as and when you want which was an added bonus Recommended
