Washrooms no toilet seats food was ok staff was excellent entertainment was a blast . The people we met were fun from Canada. Go to cocoa beach horse and buggy ride for sure excellent time ! Beach was grassy at entry but good once yo u got into the water fantastic jumping waves !!

Brisas Santa Lucia: Fun times during Carnival!!

We had a great time, the first room wasn’t what we purchased but they quickly fixed the problem. Staff was great. Food was better then we were expecting. The beach is great. The pool is fun. The overall atmosphere/vibe was great! Just lots of laughs with staff and guests. If you don’t have fun it’s probaby your own fault!!

Brisas Sierra Mar: Wouldn't be for Everyone.

If you are coming here for strictly a vacation you will be disappointed.The hotel is rundown and lots of things don't work.Children and people with mobility problems would find it difficult here.At the present time they have no elevators working.Food can be hit and miss.Pool is in need of cosmetic repair. Beach has dark volcanic sand very dirty. There is good cycling and very safe to be on the roads.People are very friendly.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Get what you pay for

Nicely appointed resort with great beach. Food was basic with limited choices. I was in building 25 that never had hot water! Stay in single digit buildings, they have been renovated. They have a coffee bar, ice cream bar and four bars.

Brisas Sierra Mar: What a great week! Feb 7-14

This resort is set in a beautiful location. The mountains, beach and beautiful sunset's stunning views can be enjoyed daily. This is the nicest place I have been to on the island. The resort is about one hour costal drive from the airport. I liked the quick check in from the bus at the airport. It made things so much easier when we got to the resort. From the staff at the front desk to the waiting staff in restaurants, cleaning staff, bartenders and entertainers, they were all there to ensure we had a pleasant stay. They make you feel like family and no wonder they have so many returning customers. A lot of people I met have been returning to this same resort for many years. It is a bit of an older crowd. The food at the buffet was ok. Not a huge selection but satisfying. They have a pasta station and always have a roast of some kind. My experience at the a la carte restaurants were very good. Food was delicious, staff was courteous and they always had someone playing music, which was very nice. They have pizza and fries or banana chips at the grill next to the buffet in the afternoon and the Cuban restaurant by the beach had fish, hamburgers and hot dogs along with a few other dishes of rice beans and meat. I spent most of my time relaxing at the beach but they did have a lot of activities at the pool in the afternoon. There is a band that comes in most nights and plays at the lobby. They also have a show a 9pm every night as well as a disco. There were mosquitos at night and they got me pretty good despite the bug spay I had on. That was truly the only unpleasant thing about my stay. I travel frequently on a budget and have an open mind so I thought this place was great!. I was there with a group of 11 and we all had a great time. Don't expect a 5* and keep an open mind that way you shouldn't be disappointed.

Brisas Sierra Mar: Great family getaway

Very good selection of food. Rooms always clean and comfortable. Fabulous staff...always willing to assist. Family enjoyed horseback riding to the waterfall. Kids always busy every day and wanted to stay longer.

Brisas Sierra Mar: Great Value

I would definitely return here. It is one of the most picturesque resorts I’ve been to. Lots of live music here and there on the resort. Smaller place with an older crowd, very low key and relaxing.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Not our finest trip to Brisas.

We have just returned from a one week stay. (Feb 9 - Feb 16). The hotel is booked pretty much to capacity at this time of year. Since we are returning guests, (12x) we get a villa upgrade. We always request the same villa. This time however, someone else had our regular room booked for a month long stay. So we were given a room a couple doors down. No problem!.. right? Same view, same layout. However.. this room is tired. The a/c barely worked, the ceiling was leaking water due to an overworke [... read more]d a/c unit, and eventually collapsed in the middle of the night, spilling gallons of water all over our things. The staff is great, they tried all week to get things working right. To no avail. On the 5th day they offered another room, but what's the point. We're leaving in 2 days. The bed was broken, had a large hollow spot in the spring mattress. Several other little nit-picky things. Things I could easily tolerate from Club Amigo next door. But when you pay a premium price for a place like Brisas?.. thanks mostly to the typically amazing staff, and resort amenities, for helping to make the most of this trip. Would I go back again? Probably.. but not at this time of year. Far too busy! The airport wait is frustratingly unbelievable! There's a waiting line for everything! Even the buffet! Store item availability is low. Still though.. a great resort. Needs a little bit of upgrading.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Loved this resort!

I absolutely loved this resort. The food was great, most staff were friendly and it was a good mixture of age groups. Everything was within walking distance and beach was beautiful. My only two downfalls were that the mattress was so uncomfortable and the staff at the front counter definitely need a better personality. They were not very friendly and when asked a question you recieved one word answers and left to figure it out.

Brisas Sierra Mar: Wonderful Resort

Everything was perfect , clean new linens, plenty of hot water ,hair dresser, massage& pedicure available. This resort has it all with the usual Cuban cuisine.Very good music in the lobby bar( live)Older resort with established gardens . Flights were on time . Elevator working for the whole two weeks.Perfect holiday for us .

Brisas Santa Lucia: Good deal !

The beach: it is great white fine sand no stone, not deep for 100 meters long and very warm even in windy condition, many long chairs like new, many palapas and they removed the sea weed on the sand everyday. Hotel: Very clean, the rooms and beds very good, as much hot water you want All the bars are keep clean and fast service with a smile. Brisas Sierra Mar: Great resort

Made several trips here now and still find the hotel to be a great place to enjoy and the staff are always going out of there way to make your stay better. Enjoyed the air conditioned dining room. Will definitely be going back

Brisas Sierra Mar: Brisas Sierra Mar - Return Visit

The Hotel was normal busy for January, we didn't go into the pool as it really needs a good cleaning. The room is dated but our Maid took excellent care of us, very clean with fresh towels replaced when required. Food is ok, nothing special but missed fresh fruit as we had mainly canned in the morning. When there was fresh fruit it was hoarded right away by fellow tourists. The grounds are lush as they have recently had a lot of rain, beach dark sand and you will need water shoes to swim in the front, nice area to swim if you walk just past the pier.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Lovely resort

We stayed at the Brisas in Feb 2018, 4 Adults and 2 kids. This would have been our second time at Brisas Check In: We checked in at the Villa lobby. 3 couples in front of us and it took over an hour to get checked in, not sure what the hold up was. Once it was our turn the lady was very nice and accommodating. She ensured that we got ground level for the Kids and close to Grandma and Grandpa's room. Rooms: We stayed in the Villa, room 1707. Two queen size beds which were pretty comfortable [... read more] and a crib was provided for the Baby. Pillows were horrible and we were short one however, when we called guest services they got our maid to deliver one the next day. Our maid did a great job of keeping our room clean and was very friendly. It did take a complaint to guest services in order for us to get a new fridge since the first one we had did not work. Meals: The FOOD WAS AMAZING and MUCH BETTER THEN LAST YEAR!!!! However, the Server's were not as friendly and helpful. (They did have some students helping out, they were not the problem they were fantastic) There were many times that we had to get our own fork or napkins. I was very disappointed by this. The restaurant by the Villa, we eat breakfast here every morning, the tables were never cleaned and our coffee was never top up unless asked. Loved the stir fry station, pasta, and the grill Pool\Accomidations: Pools are beautiful and very clean. Great staff around the pool areas and very helpful and friendly. LOVES THE WATER SHOW A MUST SEE. Thank you Brisas had a great vacation!

Brisas Santa Lucia: Resort ok, sans plus

Pour une famille avec des enfants ou des gens près de la retraite, ça va. Pour des jeunes qui veulent danser et s'amuser sur le resort, ce n'est pas le bon endroit. Plage ok, piscine ok, nourriture ok, chambre ok mais rien de bien. Animation mauvaise autant dans le jour que le soir. Gym en très mauvais état avec peu d'appareils. Plongée très ordinaire. Personnel toutefois très courtois.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Nice place

The resort is nice.The pool amazing .Beach area needs work. With the constant wind, they tried to keep the seaweed to a minimum,but you have to walk through it every morning. They could use some new beach chairs. Food was ok. Certainly didnt go hungry.Always fish and chicken and someone cooking at the fresh grill. Would go back 😄

Brisas Guardalavaca: A Great Friendly Resort.

Grounds are kept up immaculately, some of the rooms are older , but all really clean and they keep working on upgrades constantly. I have ALOT of food allergies and still find good food to eat. This time there was a shortage of fruit and veggies that were wiped out by tropical storm and potatoes had rot I am sure from all the rain they have had this year. Beach is gorgeous and pools are really clean. All the staff except maybe one or two, I would say are SOOOOO friendly and caring. They go out of their way, to make you happy , and at home. Entertainment from what I saw was good, but really I like the older animation teams they used to have from back in the day. They mingled with all the people around the resort and talked to you all the time. Not just when there were scheduled things going on. Our one server Jareesta from the Cuban restaurant, offered to bring me vegetables and sweet potatoes out of her garden, as she grew things they didn't have on the resort , that she knew I could eat. The management , and PR make sure things are all set up for me, and always upgrade me to a great room for my mobility needs.

THIS IS OUR SECOND TIME AT THIS RESORT.VIP IS WELL WORTH THE ADDED EXPENSE. PLEASE CHECK TRIP CENTRAL FOR THE VIP PACKAGE. EMPLOYEES ARE VERY FRIENDLY, SMALL TIPS ARE VERY APPRECIATED. VACATIONERS ARE MOSTLY OVER 65 YEARS OF AGE. SOME HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS RESORT FOR MANY YEARS. THERE IS A DOCTOR , NURSE AND DENTIST. SUNWING REPS ARE INFORMATIVE AND OFFER PACKAGES. AS USUSAL YOU CAN FIND TOUR GUIDES NOT FROM THE RESORT OR SUNWING.YOUNG CHILDREN SEEMED TO BE OCCUPIED WITH NO PROBLEMS. Brisas Santa Lucia: Love this resort

It was our 8th time here. Staff are marvellous. Hotel is just the right size. The only complaint i have is that they often run out of toilet paper. Pool is great, pool bar is awesome. There is a kids pool as well. Beach has lots of chairs available. Always food available, snack bar open 24/7. Entertainment was superb, Roly and Carlitos are soo funny! All staff smile and make you feel welcome. I will def. Return !!
