I would say that the staff was excellent although

I would say that the staff was excellent althoug the building needs much work to be fix the roof the elevators the curtains the blanket need to be aired out and the becuase they smell like mold they need to spray the building for roaches becuse the stuff were great if the owners where to give a little more attention i would recommend it msy be

Very friendly resort

it has been a great five star resort in its day,but it is now a little dated.The staff are very friendly and do a great job in daily activities and evening entertainment.The beach is beautiful and the food is above average for Cuba

Awesome resort

This resort was wonderful , very friendly, staff was great, place was very clean....it is older but lots of character....the beaCh is the best in Varadero....We loved it the grounds are very pretty.....the people are very sincere, THE FOOD WAS REASONABLE....10 out of 10 in my book!!!

Beautiful

Rooms were a little dated, but were clean. The grounds were well keep and easy to map the different areas. The beach was wonderful! Entertainment daily to enjoy. The food was good, you should not be hungry. Staff were very pleasant to talk to. We had a great vacation.

Breezes Bella Costa Experience

My name is Edmond. I stayed in that hotel on July 2014 for a week. It was my first trip to Cuba. I had a great time, the service was excellent, all staff was very polite. The beach was one of the best I've ever seen. I'm planning of going back to that place whenever I find time. I would recommend anyone to stay in that place. It's worth for the money payed.

Needs updating

my room leaked and I had a lake in it (literally) almost the whole time I was there....I had to call the front dest 4x to get someone to come and deal with it....they did not move me to a better room, so I had a lake again the next time it rained - it was coming from the ceiling in both the bedroom and bathroom(disgusting). Hard beds, old furnishings, very dated. Most staff were very friendly, but the hotel was not well run and if you had a question or complaint, it would take hours or days to h [... read more]ear back on it.

Not bad resort

Resort was not bad at all. Old, needs renovation. Distance to town from hotel is good. Mini bar was never fully refilled. Lots of nice staffs. Family suites is a very good size and distance to beach and pool. Air Transact guests have our own/private part of the beach. Freshly made to order pizza was really good.

Lovely resort, fantastic location!

Had a wonderful family vacation at the Breezes Bella Costa. This was our second stay. Food was ample and tasty for Cuban standards, beach was superb and plenty of activities to keep us entertained. My personal favorite was Zumba in the pool. We were not please with our first room in the villas and we're then moved to a second floor room with a view of the pool and partial oceanview. Beautiful! Book a suite in the villas - it's worth it. We went snorkelliing and saw some beautiful colourful fish [... read more] (short catamaran ride to get there). We also did the jeep tour -- highly recommended and a highlight for my teenage son and good value for the money. Bring giveaways like kids shoes or tshirts if you are doing the jeep tour as women and children line some of the rural streets hoping for anything tourists can offer.

Great staff!!

This resort is in need of some tlc but for the most part it was great. The food was ok and the beach was amazing ;) the medical staff are awesome. Julio (front entrance security guard) is a real stand up guy ;)

Wonderful Staff

This hotel is in need of an update. Someone needs to come in and spend some money on this resort. It has a perfect location!! The beach is amazing. The way the tide is, creates a sandbar like none I've ever seen before. The staff is wonderful, the food is consistent with the rest of Cuba. The lunch bar has a stone pizza oven for individual pizza's. Grab some items from the buffet there and add it to the other items they have available. Most days we grabbed 2 each and wrapped one in the fridge fo [... read more]r late night snack. They also have Panini's in the lobby late at night which not many are aware of. The beer was cold, the beach was unbelievable & the staff is amazing. I would recommend the Villa's. Not the hotel. It is decent value if you don't pay full price.

Amazing Resort and Amazing People

We stayed at Breezes Bella Costa for one week including my wife my 18th months old son and myself (29th May to 5th June 2014). I am really glad that we chose this resort. It's a perfect family resort. My 18th son loved the resort and he really really enjoyed. Him being happy really made our stay beautiful. People and service were amazing. When we arrived at the resort and we were waiting to check in we were served cold drinks right away (we had not even checked in; now that's what I call service [... read more]) Our suite was pretty decent and staff was pretty quick to respond. The beach was breathtaking. I loved the hobycat and snorkeling. The pools were clean and nice. The food (buffet) was good. Breakfast was the best. A la carte dinner at the Cuban restaurant was wonderful. Italian restaurant was good too. Japanese restaurant was disappointing though. Bars were very good as well. We really loved the restaurant by the beach. I would gladly recommend it friends.

Great resort for families with young kids!

This was a great resort for families with young children. Some parts of the hotel exterior were a little worn looking, but that didn't affect our stay at all. The beach was clean and the water was clear!

Everything we needed!!

A great resort that provided everything we were looking for and more! Helpfull and friendly staff, clean room, great variety of food, nightly entertainment, room close to beach, great beach with plenty of chairs and lots of information available for day trips etc. We would definitely go back to this resort!

Beautiful beach resort!

Beach is amazing, resort was clean and staff were friendly. Food was very good and well prepared (remeber to make reservations though), it was still cuba though.......but never went hungry. Almost an hour to the airport.

Had a great time!!

I stayed at this resort with my husband and 2 kids and we really enjoyed it!! The staff was amazing! The resort was very clean!! There was a lot of variety when I tame to food so we always found something to eat! I loved their pizza!! The food is as good as it gets for Cuba. I would definitely recommend it and would probably go back!

Love the location and the people

We were in a ground villa.Service great how ever the. Villa could have been better. Ac was dripping water. The people were great and always willing to assist o you. Everyone love the beach. I would de2finetly go back

One of the best!

Breezes Bella Costa has been one of our most favourites. As we take a lot of get aways in the winter we always seem to fall back to this one. The atmosphere and the staff are the BEST. Food is very good compared to others in Cuba. Have tried a lot of others resorts and seem to come back here. The price is right! It might be older but is clean and that is what matters. Staying at a smaller resort certainly has it's benefits. The beaches are great.

Simply An Amazing Resort

Hello everyone,we traveled to this hotel in the month of june for a week,it was our first time in Varadero. This hotel is a must visit, from the fast checkin to the end of the trip, the hotel n staff never disappointed Us. The grounds of the resort are very well maintained, n looks beautiful,the convenient size of the hotel makes you close to everything, the rooms are spacious and always well kept. Good resort!

Friendly staff,good variety of food,room as expected.Small problems fixed immediately.Beautiful beach with lots of good snorkelling.We enjoyed many hours under the trees by the ocean reading which was very relaxing.We had an excellent time.
