Amasing resort and a stellar vacation experience.

This resort is absolutely amasing.Extemely clean and the friendliest staff.We wanted for nothing.The nightly entertainment is energetic and fun and very well put together.Our food experience was outstanding,, There was nothing that we did not like.Woould recommend the upgrade to Colonial level this upgrade is awesome.Our butler Franklin was absolutely outstanding .We would recommend asking for him as your butler.This was the best vacation we ever had and cannot wait to return.A wonderful resort.

Colonial club. Worth the upgrade!

We stayed oct 12/2015 week for our anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The butler was there asking if he could help us. Even when we didn't request him. 24 hr room service was great for times when you just wanted to stay in. Ocean was amazing. +++ on the colonial club. Def worth it.

Excellent resort

This resort has beautiful rooms, excellent customer service, everyone working there is friendly and helpful. The rooms have a jacuzzi tub with a separate shower and two sinks. Lots of closet space for cloths and shoes. There is also a balcony or patio for each room with chairs and table. Beautiful landscaped gardens everywhere you go. This resort also has many pools, with swim up bars. There is no shortage of food or beverages.

Paradise

Very clean, well maintained, grounds are spectacular, staff is very nice.No complaints. The pool is huge and always found a quiet spot to relax. The beach restaurant has a lot of variety which is perfect for those who avoid going to the buffet at lunch time. A lot of palapas, never had to worry about not finding a chair on the beach.

Great food beach and booze

They go above and beyond to make ur stay wonderful, rooms are all great, food is best of all resorts I've been to I been everywhere... Beach is great no sea weed white sand blue water , they have coors light beer and grey goose vodka, don't see that at many resorts it's very nice, sports bar is great get every game, buffet is awesome, along with steak house and Mexican and Japanese. Fantastic

We really enjoyed our stay at colonial majestic. Amazing accommodations and very good food. Really clean resort and great staff. Definetely would go back to this resort. Perfect location for the wedding we attended..overhaul great vacation.

Welcome to Paradise!!!

Majestic Colonial was absolutely beautiful!!! The grounds were immaculately kept, everywhere we went was very clean. Every staff member was friendly and courteous and made every effort to do anything to help us. Our lovely housekeeper who put special effort into making our room beautiful especially on our 25th wedding anniversary day. The flowers everywhere, champagne on ice, heart shaped towel with flowers & petals on the bed all made for a romantic occasion. Another special mention must go to Candida, our talented connoisseur of special coffees at the buffet !!! He is creative and humourous and it is obvious that he takes pride in his work!! Gracias Candida for the delicious coffees and "coucouracha shots" ...a must try!! All around we had an excellent time and would recommend Majestic Colonial for any occasion!

Very disappointed return customer

ground are lovely/pool wonderful/club lounge worth extra $/room nice HOWEVER, the food was way below standard for this resort- stayed 1 year ago at the Majestic Elegance next door and we loved everything about it- very DISAPPOINTED- our butler service was non existent(met him when arrived)- we are frequent visitors to Punta Cana and have stayed at several hotels here

Amazing Resort...

Our timing was excellent, going at an off peak time, the service was excellent. No line ups in the buffet, pool chairs were available, the best part was to be able to go to "a la carte's" every night :) we had a wonderful time!!!

Amazing beach and resort! exceded our expectations

This was a wow resort from the moment we stepped of the bus to the day we left!..we booked in the club portion of the Majestic and were not dissapointed!..from the club checkin experiance[and it was an experiance] to the tour from our butler ''Slyvestor'' and than walking in to our beautiful room...WOW..loved having our own bar with premium alcohol right in our room and having access to 24 hr room service we felt very special. The grounds were beautiful, absolutly beautiful and travelling with m [... read more]y 19 year college student daughter on a mother daughter trip we felt extremly safe, loved loved the adults club swim up bar pools complete with bed gazebos, it was hardly ever too crowded and the sun tan lotions provided there was a nice surprise.The pool boy ''Joel'' was great there, fabulous customer service and always had a smile on his face and really went out of his way to go the extra mile to make sure your vacation was going good, and saw him going out of his way for every one at the pool!! The beach , although not kept clean very well was nice when we chose to sit at a couple of times [ we found it very windy if sitting close to the water which was cooling but we also got sand blasted too much..lol..the entertainment was actually really good..the Michael Jackson night show was outstanding! our absolute fav from any resort or cruise we have seen..very talented young man who played him, and loved the circus show too ..well done crew!..they were great at getting the guests up and going ..fun crew! Restaurants were good, lots of variaty and clean, loved the french..especially the steak..way better than the steak house! disapointed with the mexican.. the app buffet was the best thing about it.. hated the dinner we ordered, we actually left and eat at the buffet..lol..japanese was fun and tasty..you cant choose what the chef is making you but still well done..fyi the sushi is quite good too!.every thing was easily accessable and found most of the staff to be very friendly and happy . we would definatly go back and bring the guys next time!..very good value for the money! thank you Majestic for a fabulous week!

Fantastic vacation

This is an older resort but is maintained very well, the rooms were spacious, the food was good the animation team was exellent! The drinks were plentiful, service was great. Beach was beautiful always kept it clean. Lots of Huts for shade if you wanted it. Pool was huge. There was always something going on. In one week We had 2 foam parties in the pool, beach party, pig roast even a mechanical bull on the beach. They had a beautiful gazebo on the beach, were there was at least 2 weddings a day. [... read more] Over all it was a great vacation, and I usually like to try different resorts, but I will be returning to this one.

Amazing resort!

We booked last minute with Nathan and could not have been happier Beautiful resort, amazing pool with swim up bar , friendly people , great food choices , large comfy rooms with whirl pool that we watched hockey from lol. Great entertainment in evenings or choice of casino or sports bar ( play offs were on ) Beautiful long beach with amazing aqua water. Free kayak , boogie boards , Sail boats and snorkels. We stayed quiet and didnt do the excursions but they looked interesting. And off course we [... read more] had sunshine everyday!!!! Thanks Nathan we would recommend this highly and would most definitely return.

Great pools and beautiful sandy beach

Clean and friendly. Resort is spread out so you have to be willing to walk. Kids club was great. Husband did get a stomach bug so was not able to enjoy the meals and beverages for a couple of days. Loved the off shore snorklin.

Awesome Trip and Resort

The hotel grounds were beautiful, very nice spacious rooms, the staff was quite friendly and helpful. Raymond the bartender at our swim up bar was wonderful, he was always very friendly and had your drink ready as soon as he saw you coming to the bar. The food was pretty good, the beach was beautiful. A great trip.

Fantastic Resort

The grounds were impeccable. With the wide variety of food there is something there to appeal to everyone. The room we stayed in was clean and the service we had was great. Public areas I used were very clean as well. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Not much better

This was our second trip to the majestic,and it was better than the first visit.we were 4 fifty something's who found almost everything to their liking.amazing is the word for the upkeep of the buildings but the grounds keeping is unbelievable. Beautifull setting with all the lush growth that has been painstakingly cultivated and manicured.. The only issue,and it really didn't hurt our vacation was the two meals eaten at the seafood and the rodeo(steakhouse). Some work is needed in the kitchens. [... read more] Slower service than what we received anywhere else on the resort, and still wrong meals showed up. Nothing major, but a little work and these two resturants will be up to the calibre of the rest of the resort. A special mention to marilyn and venis in the lobby bar who made us welcome every evening before supper and afterwards. This will be our go to resort in punta Cana . Great Resort

The resort is large and very well kept by hotel staff. The pool and beach are awesome with lots of lounge chairs available so you don't have get up early to reserve. I found the food to be very good with lots of variety. Our room had a great view of the pool and ocean. Everything in our room was functional and in working condition. The only thing I really had an issue with was the service from hotel staff at the bars however, we were there during spring break so it seemed busier than normal. Nice Resort but needs improvement with food

A nice clean resort. Beach and pool was really nice but the quality of food was lacking. Buffet food was often cold and lacked of variety from meal to meal. Room was nice even though would need a little bit of maintenance.

Our 3rd time there and I know we will be back!!!

We were at the Majestic the week of Feb 21 to 28..and what a wonderful week it was! Our friends went for 10 days and we met up with them there. This is a CLEAN resort! the bathrooms by the beach are always being cleaned! That is a big deal - at least to me! To start Robertson made sure that we had a room next to our friends which doesn't always happen. There were always chairs available but we usually went to the beach early to make sure we got the space we wanted. The beach is beautiful and goes on for miles and miles! It is a popular wedding location and we usually saw a wedding every day.Lunch was always at the buffet at the beach and there was always a lot of choice. We ate supper at he Mexican restaurant twice - I think that was our favorite. The Chinese was great! the Steak house was down by the beach and no matter what you had there you had to enjoy it just for the atmsophere. Did not do much of the night life - by the time we had supper we were usually ready to santer back to the room and relax. The rooms were perfect - I would recommed the swim up room. After the day at the beach we would relax by the pool and wander up to the pool bar for a couple of drinks before getting ready for supper. There was a couple of shops to wonder around in for someting to do...We didn't have any children with us but there seemed to be a lot of families there. All in all the people are amazing...the staff are friendly and really do care that you are enjoying yourself. I would definately recommend this resort to eanyone who wanted a worry free holiday!

This is an amazing resort.

This resort is great. The staff are always kind, very helpful and just great, to name one Joan (Butler) always checking in to see how everything is going and always smilimg and trying to make your already pleasant trip better. Most of the food is great. I would not recommend the Gormet Restaurant. This is the only negative thing I have to say about this resort.
