Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Palladium Bavaro 2020

We've stayed at Palladium in Punta Cana several times, and had been given VIP status (special bracelet) the past 2 years. We did get the VIP bracelets again this year. However, the hotel did not honour a request for first floor rooms. Navigating stairs wasn't easy for my spouse and our companion's spouse. The amenities at the resort were fairly good, although food wasn't always very hot at some of the a la carte restaurants. The staff are generally very friendly, and we've established personal relationships with some of them. One aspect that I don't like is the Travel Club. We are confronted by their agents at all parts of the resort, and they don't like it when we say we are not interested in what they are selling. They often employ trick tactics to get you to talk further with them. We sat through a gruelling 3 hours with them several years ago, and decided that Travel Club wasn't for us.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Nice resort

Quick check in, good food. Stayed on the Jamaican side. Rooms a little tired but no issues other then rooms was double booked, but was quickly resolved.Rained everyday, however mornings were good. I love Jamaica. People, they are so friendly.

TRS Yucatan: Truly wonderful in every way!!

As a woman of a certain age travelling alone I am always a bit worried before I arrive at a resort. No worries here. I spent a totally fabulous 8 days at TRS Yucatan resort. I was concerned about the hour and a half drive from Cancun airport. It went off with out a hitch. Didn't have to wait too long curbside for our little van. Only one stop before mine. easy check in process. Delivery to my villa by trolley was fun. Even the three floor walk up was not so bad. Loved seeing my driver put my [... read more] suitcase on his back to climb the stairs!! My room was a dream. Gorgeous, comfortable and stylish! Loved the motion sensored bathroom lights. Also loved the central turn off switch next to the bed for all the room lighting. Having an assigned concierge is a real treat. He was ready to help with anything I needed. The restaurants were terrific. My favorite by far was Helios.......perfect for breakfast lunch or dinner...so days I had all my meals there. Sitting outside by the beach was such a treat. The infinity pool was lovely and where all the action was. The daily yoga and water work outs were a must. My favorite hang out spot was the salt water tide pool. It was unique quiet and relaxing. Such a special place. I went there for part of every day. There is no big beach but this was perfect. There were evening activities galore if that's what you like. The beauty of a multi resort complex is the variety of options available are infinite both for food and entertainment. Make sure you make it visit with the flamingos. There are just a trolley ride away from TRS.

TRS Yucatan: ABOVE AND BEYOND YOUR WIDEST DREAMS!!!!

My Wife and I just returned from the TRS Yucatan Resort in Mexico and I cannot write enough about the level of above and beyond Customer Service this place had to offer. It was prestine, the food and drinks were custom made and absolutely delicious and we left this resort feeling the most relaxed we have ever been since we started taking vacations together over 20 years ago. Every staff member from the Personalized Butlers to the Food and Cleaning staff to the Welcoming Team always were willin [... read more]g to provide top notch service and did it always with a smile which unfortunately for some resorts does not happen but this resort knocked it out of the park!!!!! We had a private pool that was such a bonus as some days we would just call in room service which by the way was 24/7 and along with our fully stocked bar, these days were spent not even leaving the room. Absolutely FIRST CLASS!!!!

Grand Palladium Colonial: Amazing vacation!

This was our first trip to Mexico and our first Grand Palladium experience, and it was fantastic! The resort complex is very large but easy to navigate with the regular trolley service and the boardwalks. There are always seats available be it at the extensive beach or around one of the many pools(including two adults only with table service!). TRS Turquesa: Amazing vacation, amazing resort!

This resort was hands down the best we have ever been to. From our swim up room, to the beach, to the food, to the service it was all top notch. The service though... we literally felt like royalty our entire vacation. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Beautiful sun sets

Good resort with great staff. Lots of stairs and great weather. You can see whales from the beach, if your lucky. The resort is spread out but not too far from all the pools, restaurants and beaches. I would recommend this resort for able bodied travellers

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Very Dissapointed

This was my third time to this resort, and will be my last. I was very dissatisfied with to line ups at every resturant. We made reservations for a particular one, and upon arrival were told we had to be on the outside terrace, rather than inside where it was cold and comfortable chairs. We looked in the resturant only to fine half the tables empty. When we questioned why we couldn't be inside, we were told that they were reserved for members that may or may not show up. We arrived one morning for breakfast, and waited in line only to be told that the resturant was full, and we would have to wait until a table freed up. Then we were told that another location was open for breakfast, so we left the front of the line to try the other location. Once we arrived, we found it wasn't open and would not be open all day. We have now lost our place in line and ended up not getting breakfast that morning. When we arrived at approximately 12:30, we were told our room was not ready and that check-in was at 3:00. This is not a problem for us, as we totally understand, so we said we would go to the lounge and wait. At 3:00 we went to the check-in only to find out the room still isn't ready. We were with two other couples that were in the same building, so we asked that if we went to one of there rooms to wait, could they send the pass key to their room. No problem, they would do that. after repeated calls to the front desk, we finally had to go down to the front desk and get the pass key to our room around 5:30. I would not only not recommended this place, but would discourage anyone that is considering it. As I said, this was my third time here. The first time was excellent without any issues. This last time was plagued with issues. NEVER AGAIN.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Amazing Resort

This resort is totally amazing. Very clean and spacious rooms. Excellent food and amazing beach. Pools were heated and fabulous. Lots of lounge chairs with shade. The shows were okay. The staff were super friendly and always there to help. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Our Mayan Riviera Trip

Public areas and grounds were very well kept - pleasing to the eye and clean. Buffet was very good. There were a multitude of options for evening dining - all of which were very good. All staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room was large and spacious but could have been better maintained. House cleaning varied each day - sometimes four towels, then two... Facecloths one day then none... Bar soap then none... Even though we tipped, service didn't improve... The room itself had [... read more] a musty smell, as did the pillows and cloth cushions. The resort tried to address then offered a move. Looking back, we should have asked for a second or third floor room. It probably would have offered more air flow... Highly recommend the Ek Balam and cenote tour. It was a highlight with no crowds. Out TripCentral tour agent was excellent. SunWing rerouted our bags so they arrived late in the day after we arrived to the resort. Since bags are to travel with their owners, and we paid extra for priority status, this did not make sense. We were not told at the site of our departure only when we arrived in Mexico. Return home was delayed by 3 hours. Sunwing could have advised our hotel and changed our pickup time.

TRS Coral: Excellent resort

The pools were warm and clean. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food was excellent for an all-inclusive resort with a wide variety of options. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great time as always

This was our 6th visit to the Palladium and we had a great time as always. Staff are friendly, food was good, and grounds were very well maintained. Stayed for 10 days, want to do longer next time. Highly recommended.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: The Lady Hamilton is not just a resort. It is a hidden jewel in paradise.

This resort caters to all ages with activities, a pleasant mix of international cuisine and overall Jamaican charm. The staff was amazing. The blend of travellers from all over the world reflect the warm environment we experienced (again)! The clean, spacious suites were impressive, the overall maintenance of the resort was noticeable. Manicured grounds and diversity of flora and fauna were well mixed. The beaches are very well attended every day and provide an intimate setting for enjoyment. H [... read more]aving visited other resorts in Jamaica, Mexico, The Dominican and Cuba this resort has the overall polish the pushes it to the top. There is no singular event or activity that would stand out because the overall experience, from start to finish, was impressive and completely satisfying.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great resort!

This was by far the nicest resort we've ever stayed at. Buildings and grounds are well maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean with a nice balcony, showing a bit of wear in spots but I understand they are planning to renovate rooms on the Jamaica side this year. Beaches were ok. Infinity Beach is a little more crowded than the Sunset Cove Beach. Get there early to stake out a chair. Sunset Cove a bit quieter and easier to find a chair. We never went to Coral beach but it looked to be without any extra amenities and didn't seem to have many chairs around but if you're looking for quiet and fewer people, it would fit the bill. The beaches are private so you don't have people constantly trying to sell you something. There are resort people pushing the travel club and the spa though. Main pool was impressive. I heard many people complaining about the pool water being cold but I thought it was fine. You need to get there early to get a chair around the pool. Both Jamaica and Lady Hamilton also have smaller pools with their own bars if you like something quieter. Lots of activities to choose from during the day. Fitness crew put on some great aquafit classes. Evening entertainment at the theatre was ok but seemed to be basically the same dancing and singing but just with different music each night. Evening entertainment at the Infinity Bar was good, especially loved when they had live music. As far as food, the a la carte restaurants are fabulous. We ate at the steakhouse (twice), Italian, and Japanese for dinner and Poseidon for lunch. Hibachi at the Japanese restaurant was a great experience. The Jerk Huts at the beaches were good for a quick afternoon bite to eat. We spent a lot of time at the Sports Bar playing pool or grabbing a snack or meal from either their buffet or off the menu. Breakfast food at the two buffet restaurants is tasty and they have a decent selection but both seemed to serve the same thing and not much changes from day to day. Lunch at the Blue Lagoon buffet was good. All in all, a great vacation and would highly recommend this resort.

TRS Turquesa: Beautiful resort!!

The TRS Turquesa is a beautiful resort! The rooms were very nice and clean. We had a swim up in building 54 (near the back but only 3 minute walk to the lobby). The only downside to the room I found was the shower. Good pressure and heat but I didn’t like that there was only a wand vs shower head in ceiling. The service everywhere was great except we found the pool bar (in middle of pool) was very slow. Food was very good. It would be nice if items were labelled better at the buffet (or if they had a vegan section – maybe one day :) ) The Indian restaurant was yummy (the chef came to our table to discuss what vegan dishes we could have, that was nice!) Italian resto was good as well, yummy wood oven pizzas. We checked out CHIC Cabaret show – definitely worth seeing, very fun! I believe bookings after 2019 guests have to pay $20 ( it’s more if you are not TRS hotel – not sure it’s worth more than $20 though) This was our first time at TRS and we will definitely go back!

TRS Coral: Quiet TRS Coral

Really Clean hotel, staff is very polite and happy. But too quiet at night not enough music and ambiance Nice restaurant but hard to reserve. Sometimes it’s close when u wanna go. Sometimes it’s open but full. Love the alcool and the food tough

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Loved this resort!

Our room was quiet and spotless. Would have been nice to have a bigger balcony but we do prefer top floor so we’re willing to give up having 2 of us sitting out on balcony. The grounds were well kept and the restaurants along with the washrooms were very clean. One day when we were there, a restaurant we were eating in was being inspected. Good to see. Can’t say enough about Victor(pool bar), Yesica and Antonia(theatre bar). Very special people!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Would go again in a heartbeat

We love this place. Everything from people,beach, surf, food, service and layout was amazing! There is something for everyone and if you would rather just rest..I cannot imagine a better place for that as well.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Overall great, outstanding room!

While this hotel still has growing pains to settle, overall we had a great experience. ROOMS: amazing! We were in a loft suite and this was a game changer with a baby. We knew we would be spending allot of time there so having the 2 floors meant we could still enjoy the room while the baby was sleeping. Only things that could have made it better are 24hr room service and a room with an oceanview (assigned at random). FOOD/ DRINKS: best part was definitely the coffee shop! The resport is really big, takeout wasn’t an option and we had a baby that needed to sleep. This lack of flexibility was super inconvenient. BEACH was good, never a problem getting chairs, waiter service was good as well. POOLS: baby loved the kids pool. It was the perfect size for her and she enjoyed the different jets. Water was warm as well. The beach pool was nice, quiet and warm. It was a nice depth as well. Again, good waiter service. Lots of chairs. SPA treatments were good and the healthy bar has good smoothies. OVERALL: we enjoyed the resort. It was new, clean, great personable staff. We did find the service quite inconsistent, at times rigid and a lack of communication amongst staff. For example, sometimes we could bring our stroller on the boat, sometimes not, laundry wasn’t picked up (night staff hadn’t communicated), we weren’t given the imperial club perks until we asked and even then, we were told diff things as to how to apply them. When we arrived just after after 11pm with a young child they told us of we wanted to eat we had to walk or take the golf cart 10 mins away for a sit down meal. No room service, no snacks and no takeout. Seemed very rigid. We were also promised a room change on day 3 when it was available but it was then given to someone else. The boat and golf cart services were also not reliable and consistent. Some nights there were mosquitoes so bug spray is useful. These were all pretty minor inconveniences but meant we spent more time at reception than we wanted. Overall, great resort!

TRS Coral: Good resort

This was a nice place, well kept and helpful staff. Food was good in all the restaurants we went to. Very quiet around the pool on TRS side. Could play better more upbeat music at the pool. Have a little bit better activities other the water aerobics. Doesn’t need to be full on party but get volleyball going or some fun trivia.
