Beautiful Resort

i think this resort is good for people who loved alcohol the bar is open 24hours.It is good to relax and get away from work and stress. The people and staff are very helpful and humble. Nice breeze of air from the ocean.

Amazing vacation

Amazing vacation at this resort. Well taken care of grounds, clean rooms and exceptional food. Entertainment each night high quality. Never boring even day time , staff members made sure that there is always something to do. Beach with white sand and miles of walking .... washrooms always clean and friendly staff making sure that everybody goes home with amazing memories. Definitely going back

sorry but i thought that i had already ----enjoyed some things but room was one problem after the other---tried to talk to the man from sunwing a couple of times he was rude and uncaring and not only to myself to others that were there in line--sunwing rep at airport was uncaring when we got stuck there and would not answer questions ....would neveer go back there or recommend to anyone --EVER

Great spot! Amazing staff!

Valentin Perla Blanca exceeded our expectations. Beautiful beaches, great entertainment, and wonderful, friendly people. A number of tours available. The catamaran tour is a great value; offers a lot of activities in one trip. Our first time but not our last.

Relaxing Vacation.

Among the resorts we’ve been I enjoyed this one the most. I liked the fact that there is a quiet side on the beach. The people gave us top notched service. From the gardener greeting us when we pass by and giving me fresh flower every morning, the cleaner who’s very polite, the bar tenders and waitresses and waiters and most specially our regular servers at the buffet (Felix and his group) who made sure we get good service. W [... read more]hen we were checking in, two Spanish speaking couples approached the desk clerk while we were in the middle of arranging our room keys, instead of the clerk telling them to wait until he finishes with us, he entertained both couples. Hate to say it but I really told him off. It was a tiring long trip and it was 11:00 pm we were tired and hungry and we just want our room keys. ( how I wish they can put an extra person to have a quick check in and as well welcome drinks ). I let it pass, but when we were checking out, there was a line and there’s this guest who did not line up so I told her no, I have to go first. So I did and when she tried to butt in, it was nice of the clerk to say one moment please. The problem was that the clerk doubted me and took him a long time to give me the release slip. I paid to stay for late check out the day before and when I gave the payment, the desk clerk said it’s ok I don’t need a receipt. Not knowing that this would create a big problem checking out. Another problem was when I called to ask for sugar, we waited for an hour and still no one came. Another instance was the fire alarm went on at 11 at night, I called and it took them close to an hour before they were able to turn it off. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay, the entertainment at night at the lobby is a plus. I hope when we come back they will give more time to the 2 girls who played the violin and piano more time to perform. They only perform on Thursdays and at the time we were there, they only performed for an hour. The crowd was kinda upset that night. We all waited for them to perform after the intermission but unfortunately they did not. I don’t know if it was because of the show going on at the theatre or what but the management should had just let them continued. After all not all of us wants to be at the theatre not because of the performance but because it was held in a room. Performance should be out in the open for people to enjoy more but then again that’s my perspective that’s why a lot of people did not watch the performances. I would still recommend this resort and we are planning to go back next year with some friends. Hopefully that the problems we had will not be repeated again. To Felix and his group, the bar tenders at the beach and the snack bar, the waitresses and waiters at the lobby and tea bar our cleaner at room 3860, to the gardeners, Thank you very much for making our stay enjoyable. We felt like we are part of their family. I do apologize though for not remembering their names.

Wow

Beautiful resort. Service was great, Al Le carte dinners were fantastic, although the buffet food was lacking. Beach was beautiful water was crystal clear! Had an amazing time and would 100% go back anytime of the year.

Amazing Resort!

I like the room and the view around the resort. Nice bedding arrangements. Wish they would change the linen more frequently. They don't clean the toilet that well. They didn't provide toiletries after 3 days. Frog scared me almost fell off from the stairs. Kitty's around so lovely and friendly. Anyway they won't let you starve food is flooded but you need to be careful sitting on the toilet for couple hour.

Needs Improvement

The hotel was very clean and lovely but unfortunately it was also very inconstant. Right from the moment of check-in we were given an incorrect room, when trying to fix the issue we were told each time to come back the next day. It was never solved for the week. We were given a room with two twin beds, and their only solution for us was that they could send someone up to push the two beds together. We were also told by staff that the resort only had about 350 guests at the time, so this ma [... read more]de us wonder why they were unable to accommodate us when we didn't get the room we paid for. For the most part the beaches and pool were great. The food was satisfactory. There was a definite shortage with the a la carte restaurants, and some guests were only able to reserve one for the week since they had no availability.

Great resort

I went to this resort on the off-season and I found there was a few things that were not running due to the circumstances, so that made for a upsetting moment to find out I was not able to do the fun things I had seen this resort/Cuba provides. That being said the staff at this resort and the beach were absolutely amazing! I made do with what we had and my trip to Cuba was one for the books!

Very satisfied no complaints all was great.Very friendly people,room was clean and big,huge balcony.The beach is beautiful,pools clean,food is good,lots to choose from,also lots of fresh fruits,just return from 11days stay,we had great time

Great Resort

This was our second time. Initial challenges as when we arrived they did not have a room for us. They fixed the issue quickly. The room they gave us had no air conditioning, after two nights of complaining they moved us. After that all was good. We go to this resort because they have the most amazing beach. We walked for hours.

This is my second time in Valentin Perla Blanca . I am completely satisfied with everything and I will visit this resort once more)) excellent service and nice staff)) I wish many clients and good weather)))

Rooms are cleaned daily. Clean beach, varied food in restaurants will satisfy every taste)) Daily show leaves impressions for life.you can also take advantage of various excursions. animators are working at full speed so as not to give you boredom and spend this vacation 100% friendly and always happy to share you time) at every step there are bars so that from the heat you will be saved by cool cocktails.I recommend to everyone)))))

Beautiful resort

Everything was amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The resort was clean and the good was good. We would go back to this resort again and recommend it to friends and family. Only complaint it the drive from the airport.

Lovely resort for Cuba

The resort was lovely as per Cuba standards. It is easy to get around it. The staff was nice. The food was crap. One needs to fully understand Cuba does not have excellent customer service, accommodations or food. It just doesn't exist in Cuba, no matter what part of the island you go to or resort you stay in. One goes to Cuba because it is relatively inexpensive, it is a short flight and the ocean is wonderful. However, if you must go to Cuba this resort is suitable.

Really a nice place for vacations

Welcoming personnel, clean rooms, excellent choice of tasry fois, services with a smile alwats, pool with lots of space, beaches generally clean and welcoming. My spouse and I, really enjoyed our stay. In moskitos season, we recommend you bring some protection.

Stress Leave Vacation

To start off the hotel was clean and it had an amazing view. When we arrived the reception at the front desk was not very helpful and did not greet us and never offered any help or got anyone to help us . We dragged our baggage to our suite which we we had to find on our own no assistance what so ever at 430 in the morning . On top of that we had my father 80 year old man using a cane had to walk up to the second floor which we clearly had asked for a bottom suite . No emergency elevators avail [... read more]able . We had no rep from Cubana airlines (ola Sun)greet us at all during our stay .We wanted to do exercisioms even that no one around to buy tickets we were stuck in the resort . The Buffett’s were old and dried flies on the fruit ran out of toast . I have absolutely nothing nice to say we were a group of 8 family members hope to have an amazing time and this resort and the Cubans airlines ruined it for us. We were giving notice on our door late Friday night that our flight for late Sunday was canceled and we were to pack our bags and that we were leaving first thing in the morning at 7am that’s 2 days before we actual had to leave. I’m very disappointed . Our phones did not work they’re dirty dishes for days sitting on the bottom of the stairs , no face cloths available . . Bottom line we want to be reimbursed 2 days for each person that we lost . The communication between all parties were very poor . We went for a vacation Not a stress leave vacation . Mediocre Resort

The resort was okay. Staff everywhere but front desk was friendly. Spanish speaking people got preferential treatment. A la carte restaurants were not good at all. Lunch, breakfast and dinner buffet had the same food each day.

Good resort

We were here in 2016 and loved it. It wasn't as goid this time. Beds could have been better. They were pretty hard on the body. The room we had last time was in better shape than this one. Having said that, we still loved it and will probably go back. Saff is friendly and atmosphere is pretty good. We just wish all of the restaurants were open like they were in 2016. I think that low season had something to do with that.

Don’t believe everything you read!

After seeing a few pictures and hearing good things about this resort from my travel agent, I booked this place instantly. Shortly after booking the trip, I started doing some research about this resort (reading reviews, looking at photos posted by past travellers, etc.).. some of the reviews were negative and some were positive. Most of the negative comments were outrageous and didn’t seem likely that a 4 star resort would provide people with such a negative experience (such as — the resort [... read more] ran out of beer, crabs were chasing a naked women and staff did nothing about it, staff were not attentive to upset customers, and so on). Like most people, I started getting skeptical and worried. My vacation turned out amazing. Both my boyfriend and I would go back in a heartbeat. We travelled from May 4-11 (both of our first times travelling to a tropical place in May) and I honestly do not have any complaints. The hotel was well organized and had a different person to deal wih different problems/questions. Wifi was $1 an hour and was decently strong (we could use it while in our room). The wifi went down for a few days, but that is not something to complain about since we are on vacation and shouldn’t be using our phones anyways! The resort had two huge pools. One pool was called the “party pool” and the other was called the “relaxing pool”. I tended to hang around the relaxing pool because it was closer to my room and I liked the quiet. The party pool was pretty crazy at times, so if you are young and like to party definitely check it out. On Friday night there was a foam party at the party pool (music, alcohol, foam, swimming and partying).. it was a good time! The food was good. Not amazing, but for Cuba I thought it was good. The dinner buffet was decent and had a stir fry station, a chicken and seafood station and a pasta station. There was a short line for some of the stations, but NOT A BIG DEAL! We went to three a la carte restaurants (french, italian and seafood). The french and italian were very good, but the seafood was soso. There is a bbq/snack bar on the beach that serves chicken, pork or beef burgers. Very tasty. Our room was always cleaned very nicely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The fridge in our room was restocked everyday with a one litre water bottle. Some people complained about this, but I didn’t find it to be a problem because all of the bars provided cups of water and had no problem refilling water bottles. The resort NEVER ran out of beer. There is so much more to say, but this review has become very long. Final words.. please do not hesistate to go here.
