Great Value!

This new hotel was amazing right from the moment we stepped inside. The staff were all very accommodating and made sure we were happy throughout our week stay. The rooms were clean, towels and linens were fresh daily. The restaurant selection was very good and the food was decent. The beach is beautiful as well as the area around the pools. We will be booking another vacation there next year! We highly recommend it.

Not so satisfying.

This Review is for Sunscape Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana Apparently I was supposed to have the Deluxe Oceanview Room and much to my disappointment I had no room! I was not in the system. Unbelievable! You could imagine how I felt. Very angry and upset. This has never happened to me before. Looking at the Itinerary, now, it did not have a confirmation number on it. Anyways, I had to wait 3 hours. Talking to other people on the resort these mistakes seem to be common!! My room was not Oceanview it looked over the walkway of the resort. The room was fine. Housekeeping did not always clean my room. There was a time where I had to shower with my dirty towel after being on the beach all day. The sand on the beach was nice. There was a lot of seaweed on the sand and apparently the last day it was cleared. Out of the five a la carts, the Asian "Chopsticks" and the French a la carts where great. I had to eat there two times to be content. The Italian a la cart was not good. The only good thing here was the caprese salad and the tiramisu. Thankfully I have somewhat of a nice tan and needed the break. It was difficult to communicate since they do not all speak English. The locals that are set up on the walkways to sell their items are very, very persistent!! A lot of vacationers where not happy with this!

Great resort

The resort was very accommodating and everything was easily accessible. Would recommend it to anyone travelling to the Dominican rebublic. Great pools, bar service is top notch and staff are very friendly

Very modern resort

My family and I stayed here for 6 days and it was very accommodating. The servers at the main buffet are super kind and inviting. Almost all the workers here are extremely kind and charming with their winks. The front desk staff are, while kind, can give off a "hurry up and let's get this over with" vibe. The gardener here was my absolute favorite! He gave my family bracelets!! I chose the Creole restaurant and was a bit disappointed by the fact that it seemed to be the same food from the buffet but just with fancier plating. The beaches were beautiful. The rooms were very beautiful and clean BUT at the last two days the hot water in my room stopped working which was super unfortunate. But all in all, this resort is a very modern resort while having all the traditional aspects of an all-inclusive resort.

It was an Amazing vacation

The hotel was very very clean the service was excellent the workers were very polite respectful and very very friendly my family and friends had a wonderful time. It was my first time visiting Cuba and i have no regrets i am planning on going again

AMAZING RESORT

WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME. FRIENDLY PEOPLE. LOTS OF ACTIVITIES ON AND OFF THE RESORT. BE PREPARE TO PAY FOR SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES AS THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED, BUT THEY ARE WORTH IT. FOOD WAS GOOD!!! YES, THEY HAVE EVERY KIND OF FOOD- LOVE THE CHIEFS!! I GOT MY MEALS PREPARE BY THE CHIEFS JUST THE WAY I WANTED IT. RESORT WAS CLEAN. NIGHTLY PERFORMANCES WERE AMAZING. THE WEATHER WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE STAFF AT PULLMAN! KEEP US THE GREAT JOB.

Beautiful place

We spent a week from July 12 to 19. Beautiful hotel; some units are still in construction. Excellent food and wine (from Spain). Modern room. Nice beach with many palapas. I have nothing negative on the Pullman.

Pullman Cayo Coco

Hello, Visited Cuba and stayed at the Pullman in July 2017. I found the hotel to be lovely, although I think the customer service could be improved. The facial expressions of the staff did not seem very friendly at all, I felt like I was bothering them at times. It was nice to have many pools to choose from, which also meant more chairs, although you needed to be there pretty early to get chairs under shade. The beach was a little disappointing. It was very very weedy in the area we were a [... read more]nd the shells were not ground up so you needed to be careful or you could cut your feet. Our room was lovely but I don't think they did very much sweeping or dusting, there was a pile of dust and hair when we arrived and was still there when we left. I can't say for sure whether we would return to this hotel in the future, but we will definitely return to Cuba. This was our second family vacation to Cuba and my children and I had a wonderful time. I know that some things can be disappointing and may not be as other hotels visited in the past, but we still had a fantastic time. It was a vacation, we had the sunshine, relaxation, drinks, food, excursions. I think this hotel still has kinks to work out, but I think customer service should be better than it was especially with it being rated a 5*. The question of would I recommend this hotel, I can't really say yes or no I would explain our experience. It depends on what the people are looking for when travelling.

Beautiful resort

This resort was amazing. Food was good drinks were good and service was great. The entertainment staff were extremely Friendly and so much fun. The maids were very good and kept the rooms very clean. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Amazing Resort!!!

Myself and my boyfriend just got back from this resort! We had the most amazing time, our rooms were spotless, the buffet was great and the workers were the best part of the trip! Only issue was the men had to wear pants at the A La Cartes which we did not bring, we were actually sat at one of the restaurants and were asked to leave because the men never had pants on, that was the only thing that was bad about our trip! We can't wait to come back for another trip!

Кондиционер, горячая вода- по высшему разряду.Т.е, на бытовом уровне нет никаких замечаний, только похвалы. Сам отель, особенно его лобби, красив и поддерживается в хорошем порядке. Территория тоже содержится в чистоте. Много цветущих кустарников и ярких клумб. Деревья ещё молодые, но уже украшают территорию. Дорожки их камня очень удобные и чистые. Шлепать по ним босиком одно удовольствие! Пляж. Это было для нас очень важно. Громадный. Белый песок. Всегда находилась для нас тень. Мы никогда не занимали место заранее, хотя народ делал так... место в тени было всегда! Пляж удобный. Множество Активити, бар...кто что ищет. Мы наслаждались тёплым морем, играми в воде и песке. Небольшое неудобство вызывали обломки кораллов и ракушек при входе в воду. Можно было даже поранить ноги. Детям лучше запастись спец обувью. А я так просто очищала место, где играл мой ребёнок. Всех делов- 10 минут! Еда. Много . Изобилие и на любой вкус. Все свежее. Всегда. Большой выбор сыров, салатов, овощей. Для детей выбор йогуртов, сереалов. Изумительная выпечка! Хорошие фрукты, разнообразные и всегда свежие. Блюда на вкус? Можно похвалить, можно остаться недовольным. Кому как. Но всегда есть выбор! И всегда можно найти своё. Из ресторанов мы предпочли буфет! Безоговорочно! Французский и креольский нам просто не понравились! Не вкусно! Японский был хорош! И вкусно и развлекательно! Развлечения. Мы с ребёнком мало что смогли увидеть. Но то, что видели и слышали было очень высокого класса. Вечерние концерты у бассейна, в лобби и в театре были высокопрофессиональны! Внук был без ума от детской дискотеки. Экскурсии. Были только на одной. Ездили на пляж Пилар. Это стоило затраченных денег. Изумительный пляж (без ракушек!), ланч с морепродуктами и лобстеров. По дороге видели множество розовых фламинго. Явный недостаток. Только один! Мало времени! Неделя - это мало! Ну, и несколько слов о людях. Все без исключения очень доброжелательны, приветливы и стремящиеся помочь. Проблем с языком не было, английский ( и французский) знали все. Кое- кто даже говорил по- русски. Ð’ общем, друзья! Рекомендую!

Hi,as you said we just came back from this" amazing resort " and we head fun,this is our 24-th time CUBA,all different places so we can say we know a lot about this country. Only one suggestion the pool entertainment during the day could be more live.

1.Management forgot to supply DECAFINATED COFFEE!!!! 2.WATER LEAKAGE in bathroom sink 3.Bufet needs improvements 4. International alcohol drinks selection to increase 100% recommended to my friends.

Wonderful resort!

The rooms at this resort were wonderful. So modern and clean. Staff were very friendly. Infinity pool was our favorite spot with a great swim up bar. Snack bar served wonderful meals and all 3 a la crate restaurants were great. Lobby bar was fantastic. Great coffee there every morning. Beach was long, but seaweed free area was not very wide when we were there. We didn't mind though. We spent most of the time at the pool. Disco and nightly entertainment was great too. Beautiful Modern and Clean

We loved that this newer family hotel is not too spread out, has a long natural beach and several pools for kids, sports or adults. Our room was fresh smelling,bright and stylish with excellent air conditioning, large bathroom and a patio with an ocean view and steps to the beach- and it was not classified as an upgraded room. Main buffet restaurant offered tons of choices and 3 grilling/ frying stations for custom orders with eggs in the morning and fresh fish and stir fry at lunch and dinner.  [... read more]Always piles of fresh baked breads, pastries and cakes succulent fruits and different salads although don't expect a lot of fresh vegetables other than cabbage, tomatoes and broccoli. Pasta was good. Meats were varied and plentiful but many items were a bit odd. An open air buffet offered lunch BBQ daily and open air seating overlooking the ocean.The lobby is really a lounge area cooled by sea breezes and also looks out to the ocean where we always found seating and bar service. Never felt crowded or had to wait long for food or drinks and staff was very attentive and warm. Also a plus, it is 20 mins from the airport but we never heard or saw a plane.

Amazing Resort

This is our Second Year at Pullman.We as a family enjoyed every moment of our stay. Food was very good,staff was very friendly and helpful.Grounds are beautiful and everything is so close and easy to access. Beach is wider compering to last year and just breath taking. We would strongly recommend this resort to families and single people as well. Do not hesitate to book Pullman you will enjoy it for sure.

Wifi have some blind spot over the resort and 2cuc per hour are another issue for me, I had used over 30cuc just for wifi card for my 7 days stay and I do remember to sign out every time after I finish.

Beautiful Resort

Lovely resort, I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved that there was always live entertainment through out the resort, "lobby, by the pool and at all the restaurants during lunch and dinners". We made sure we watch the night show every single night! Rooms were new and very clean everything was in good working conditions. I really enjoyed the food in this resort compared to other resorts in Cuba, everything was fresh. [... read more] They had at the buffet various cooking stations of meat, fish and Pasta. We had reservations at their 4 a la cartes restaurants, Creole, French, Japanese and the Gourmet they were all very delicious!! We enjoyed immensely our walks on the beautiful white sand beach and to the lagoon. I will Definitely be returning to this resort!!!

Great resort

the pools were very nice, some need repairs tiles are coming off, could be a hazard if cut, resort is clean however, did not have a hot shower for the time spent, spoke with management, food is great, the size of the resort was perfect, other than the few issues with hot water, tiles in the pools, we enjoyed great weather, beach beautiful, nice resort for families

Beautiful Resort!

Hotel was beautiful. Staff were excellent. Beach was stunning. Pools were very beautiful and clean. Food is ... well it's Cuba ..you aren't going for the food. The Japanese and Gourmet a la Cartesian were the best. Rooms were very nice and well kept. We were in bungalow 31 and that was central to everything. Lobby is stunning. Great cappuccino and the drinks were awesome. Wifi is available by purchasing a $2 cuc in the lobby. This card is good for one hour of use. Don't forget to take [... read more] a drink cup like a Bubba as the plastic cups are small. We heard of some people in other bungalows where they were missing items from their room. We didn't experience this, however, there are safes in the room to keep valuables. Took am excursion to Pillar Beach...well worth the money! This beach was breath taking!! Tropical fish were everywhere!! All in all the trip was worth the money we spent. We have been to Cuba a few times and likely won't be returning but we do recommend the resort to Cuba lovers!
