Azul Beach Resort Negril: Amazing Azul

This was our fourth visit to a Karisma property. The other three were in Mexico. We loved the Azul Sensatori in Mexico, so we wanted to try this one. Loved it! Lovely hotel, beautiful beach, and wonderful staff. The à la cart restaurants were great. The buffet restaurants were average. Concierge worked magic to accommodate our needs. No elevators! Usually ran out of beach towels. Lots of lounge chairs. The only downfall is the 90 minutes from airport. I’d return for sure.

Dreams Rose Hall: Great resort

Had a great time at resort. Staff were courteous and professional. Room was clean. No problem making reservations for restaurants. Food was good. Jamaica night excellent. Never lines for food or waiting to get seat. Lots of chairs at pool beaches. Great place for family.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: FANTASTIC HOLIDAY

I want to say that the Palace Tropical Bay is one of the best resorts in Jamaica, I would go back anytime. The staff, rooms ,food,and beach there is nothing bad to say about the resort. I plan on returning in the near future. The price is a little steep for my pocket but its worth every cent. The activities for older kids there is none, I have a son that is 15 but he was able to enjoy the beach. The bus ride to the resort was not to my liking, as it was almost 2 hours

Melia Braco Village: Just ok

Great food & service. Rooms were nice but there were 3 days with issues with housekeeping. The grounds are nice but there is some trash laying around that could be addressed. For the most part every one works really hard but I'm afraid it's not enough.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Very enjoyable resort

Generally the resort was large and well maintained. The hotel too was spacious and service was excellent. Dining areas were clean and servers pleasant, engaging and eager to please. The beach area was large and the Caribbean sea a wonder to behold. Swimming, snorkeling and boating were easily accessible and fully enjoyable in and on the clear blue water. Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Great value!!

We have travelled to Jamaica 6 times now. Previously we have stayed at Couples, Jewel, Grand Paladium. First I have to say that this resort is small. Therefore the selection at the buffet is limited and there is only one a la carte. You can also eat at the a la carte on the neighboring property. The beach is very nice and we [... read more] could see many fish when we went snorkelling inside the bouy line. The entertainment was also good. The rooms are nice but there are no dressers to put your clothes in. The location is great, only about five minutes from airport. You do see and hear the planes but they don't seem to fly at night. This resort is the best value of any that we have stayed at in Jamaica.

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Excellent 10 days at Rooms on the Beach, Negril

Upon arrival our room was ready, staff were very accommodating when we asked to be change to a lower level and we were changed the next morning. Reception staff were very helpful if we had questions or concerns, they would go out of their way to help. Continental breakfast was great to get our day started and if you require more or if we slept in as we did some days, we purchased a full breakfast for an excellent price. Cleaning staff did a great job, our room was always clean when we returned from the beach. Beach is beautiful, O’Neil and Chris did a great job of making sure the beach was clean and that we had everything we needed on the beach. Security is great they check your room number as you leave and arrive back. We had a wonderful weather for 10 days and hope to return soon for a longer visit next time making this our 7th visit to Rooms. Riu Reggae: Great resort, but nothing good to say about Tripcentral or Sunwing

After completing our booking, we realized we had to get home earlier on our return day. Tripcentral advised us to purchase Sunwing's worry free option ($100ish) which we did. When changing our flight time, Tripcentral charged us $400 in addition to this though! After all of this, our flight home was delayed by 4+ hours, and we ended up missing our engagement we went through all the hours on the phone and dollars to get to. Worst travel experience ever. Just buy direct from Sunwing is my advice, [... read more] at least there is only one company that you need to deal with when something goes awry.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Amazing Resort

Excellent resort! I would not hesitate to recommend this resort. Lots of activities to participate in. The daily beach bbq was a nice surprise. The people were so accommodating & amazing. I can’t wait to go back!

Riu Ocho Rios: Favorite travel destination!

My husband and I have traveled for the last 8 years and this is by far the best experience we have had. The resort is amazing. The whole experience was perfect. The room was amazing. The beach and pool area perfect. The food was awesome and the choices were many. The jerk hut on the beach was delicious. The people there were so pleasant and fun to be around. We were asked many times how our vacation was going and if there was anything they could do to improve it. Honestly, I do not have one com [... read more]plaint about this resort. Riu Reggae: Wicked resort

The people and grounds were friendly and clean. The entertainment was excellent. No complaints from start to finish of our trip. The food was great and didn’t upset my stomach. Also the rooms were clean and tidy

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Overall really good!

We really liked the resort. A lot of walking and spent more time at the spa side so spent a lot of time with kids, The Hideaway is really nice but needs some stuff to make it worth time just being there, the beach is man made and rocky so you have to go to the sister resort to enjoy but it is very nice. Not enough cabanas or umbrellas on adult side, Ocean point restaurant is worth it on Hideaway side though.

Sunscape Cove: The cove is a wonderful resort

The grounds are well maintained. With staying at the cove you have rights to the splash. Omar was a very good waiter in the cove restaurant. You have rights to 6 restaurants but mainly 5 the seafood one is rarely open. The beach is nice but found 7 mile beach better. When we were there it was noisy as the owner is expanding on his property so he put up a tin fence to separate the New resort going up next door. The cove was spotless. When I first looked in the gift shop there were no prices on anything. So I let air transit rep know by the time I was ready to buy everything in the gift shop had a price on it. The workers always smile and are so polite. The only thing I didn’t care for is when you met with someone at the hotel they give you an offer of a free breakfast at one of their other resorts for free. Then they carry on asking you questions. Then the lady will say we will offer you a 3 day2night stay for a $160.00 Then they will say I like you so much I will give you $100.00 gift certificate for our give shop. Us being Nieve signed up for breakfast. Then she said be here 8:30 and don’t forget your credit card. We should have caught on then but we were tired. When we were relaxing some people were telling us about it and this meeting is 90 minutes to deal with timeshares. So we cancelled our breakfast not interested in timeshares. They were very upset with us at that point. It was bad enough when we landed and we got to the resort and had to wait 3 hours for our room. Otherwise the people at the cove are awesome I would go back there but only to the cove. But that’s just me.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice and friendly resort

The people are really nice and friendly, big variety of food, clean and spacious rooms. The resort needs some minor renovations though, like updating bathrooms and changing carpets in the corridors. Also we asked for several things and some of our requests were never fulfilled...

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Great hotel

Stayed here before. This time in a swim up pool. Wouldn’t stay there again prefer the ocean view suites. Great food and great staff. Butler service was not helpful this time. We will be back . It is close to the airport , has a great beach and the staff are active and keep the place vibrant.

Honestly a fantastic vacay. We were 2 couples in our 50’s who are young at heart. We came down to escape the cold, long Canadian winter. We were all very happy with the resort. We all had only 1 complaint. That is the lack of an outside bar in the evenings. When escaping the northern winter the last thing we want to do is sit inside. The only place to go outside in the evenings was off the piano bar, which is too small with nothing going on. Also, kudos to Shaun B on the beach. She was an abso [... read more]lute doll to us and was the absolute best ambassador for the resort. She could not have treated us any better.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Great stay

My husband and I stayed from Feb 19 to 26 in room 637 and had one of the best trips ever. Service,food,staff and accommodations were all excellent. Dining under the stars was amazing. The resort itself was a great size just over 200 rooms spread out over a fairly large area. Beaches and pools were never too crowded and never a wait for a drink. Would return.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: First class resort

This hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. The food was good and all public areas were well kept. There was ample pool area but could have used a few more chairs. This was my second time at this hotel and I would use it again.

All in all, the resort was beautiful. HOWEVER, room 23104, where we stayed was full of mosquitos. We complained 4 times. We were with a party of 7 people. The other two rooms had no mosquitos. The hotel "supposedly" sprayed the room for the mosquitos. We still got them. Finally the last night we were there, they offered to move us rooms. Like really? Last night? I recommend the resort, as long as you don't stay in room 23104. We booked the A la Carte in the Mikado(Japanese) restaurant to have th [... read more]e chef cook right in front of us. They screwed that up as well, and said we didn't book it. Very disappointed for the amount of money it cost us.

Sandals Jamaica Caribbean Cay: Great time at SRC

Resort was clean, all staff friendly. Pools are small compared to other resorts, beaches are beautiful, well maintained, small as well but we always found a nice spot. Great vacation. Crowd was honeymooners or 70's.
