Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: overated resort

too many childrens and very loud. the service was very poor. tables were not ready when we came for breakfast lunch and dinner. always missing some drinks. will never go back to this place . the food wasnt that great .

Melia Jardines del Rey: Wonderful Experience

First, the hotel staff were amazing! Accommodating is an understatement. Second, the food and amount was really great. The servers and hosts were for the most part, smiling and helpful. Third, the cleaning staff and fridge attendant were very pleasant and helped with our needs and getting us in our room when we were locked out. The beach itself was beautiful. One side of the ocean was smooth and clean. The other side to the right had some coral, grass patches, great for sea life to view [... read more] if you snorkel. The Grounds were well kept and the workers always doing something needing done. The palm tree hats and hand made creations were darling. Most of the entertainment were of dance groups. They were talented, colourful, but not my preference. To each there own,. The only things I would change/ improve; the notifications boards were at the entrance of the buffet and we did no see them until day 4 of our 7 day trip. We missed out on a lot of experiences. The bungalows were in need of some visual repairs as well as the huts on the beach, and the wooden walkways to the beach. There were missing boards in the walk ways that could have caused serious injuries. We did have water issues for the first 3 days, little to none in our bungalow (21). It took 2 days to have our toilet repaired so it would flush, without using a bucket of water. All in all, great trip for a first time to Cuba and first trip/adventure outside of Canada! Melia Jardines del Rey: Amazing 2 Weeks of Paradise! 🌴🌞

Check in was fast and Efficient. Rooms were large and clean, fridge was stocked daily with Water, pop and beer. Food was plentiful. Pools were nice the Ocean was AMAZING! Entertainment was also Great! The People working are Always Smiling trying to make sure Everyone has a great Vacay! Drinks are plentiful my Favorite would have to be at the Lobby Bar “Spanish Coffees”. Till next time thank you for your Hospitalty! 🌴🌞

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Modern, Clean, Beautiful

MGM Grand Muthu is a welcome addition to Cayo Guillermo. The hotel is new, very clean and modern in neutral colours. The 3 pools are beautiful with built in lounge chairs, stairs for easy entry and water spouts. Food was great, especially the Italian a la carte restaurant. Coffee & cappuccino is some of the best I have had, however be prepared to wait a minimum of 10 minutes, this includes cocktails as well. The same is for grill at buffet, they need to process more than one order at a time. Coffee in room only for first day. Rooms were exceptionally clean with fresh towels daily. Beach is beautiful, plenty of room with shade especially after 12 PM. Please note, this is a quieter resort, geared towards couples& families, not the appropriate place if you are looking to party all week. Overall a stellar resort, will return.

Tryp Cayo Coco: Not an amazing resort

well..... where to start terrible front reception staff bland food same food everyday walkways are crumbling & dangerous resort is really a 3 star â—‡ wonderful beach & pools clean/nice room & housekeepers/ground staff very sweet

Excellent amazing pool activities especially the girl Annie and. Kalyer mathers and the food at the Buffer. The Italian Resturant was amazing Can the Resort monitor the. Snack Bar at night for the clean ness and the cooking temp the the. Pizza not cook well

The Pullman was an amazing resort. ALL the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the variety was surprising. As for the beach....absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back!!

Melia Costa Rey: Excellent resort

Pullman at cayo coco is a great overall resort, the staff was very friendly and polite. Very family friendly, single adults would enjoy it as well. The pools and beach area are top notch. The bus ride from the airport is so quick and convenient.

Hotel Playa Coco: Extremely disappointed

This was our 2nd visit and it's obvious to all that the staff aren't happy. The resort management did nothing in regards to our complaints about no air conditioning, water puddle in the bedroom, the room was never cleaned. It was sad. We were always assured that it was going to be taken care of, but all requests were ignored. We'll never be back. I've recommended this resort in the past, that won't ever happen again. The food was cold, and we were told that we couldn't have ice cream, shrimp or  [... read more]lobster unless we paid? Aren't we at an all inclusive? Didn't we already pay? They do nothing to make you feel welcome anymore and the rooms, interior and exterior are disgusting. We'll find a new resort next time and every time after that.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Very Nice

A relatively small resort which we like because everything is nearby. As everyone has said, the staff are exceptional, hard working and friendly. The room was fine, bed was comfortable. Bar lineups were quick with good variety. We were 2 weeks and found good food to eat every day - it's not North American variety/quality. The buffet restaurant was uncomfortably hot though, a/c wasn't working. The beach directly in front of the resort is sandy into the water for about 10 yards before going grassy [... read more]/seaweedy. To get sandy bottom out to sandbars you have to walk down or up the shore for 10 minutes; otherwise the beach is very nice.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Gorgeous Beach!

This hotel is a little out dated and needs an upgrade... BUT the people, the beach, the service definitely make this hotel! I would still go back. My husband and I went specifically to go Kitesurfing - which is right next door, so the location was perfect for us!

Hotel Mojito: Great Resort

This was our 3rd year visiting The Mojito . The staff are great here and have kept us coming back . However , this year the Buffett was lacking in the server area . Also staff has been cut in the lobby bar , we always tip but most of the time we had to line up at the bar. Not the servers fault , only had one on for a full packed lobby !

Tryp Cayo Coco: Amazing Staff and fellow vacationers

The best part of Tryp Cayo Coco was the staff. Almost all of the staff knew my name and face by the end of the trip. It was the staff that made the experience as good as it was. The beach was amazing, the pools were great. It's not a large resort, so everyone gets to know everyone, and all the fellow vactioners were super friendly and also made the stay memorable.

this is a great resort , the grounds pools are wonderful. rooms and service are also great bring your own shampoo and soap as you have some on arrival and thats it. the beach is amazing but if you want a palapa be prepared to get up early and put your towels on even if the resort says you can not reserve everyone does. the food could be better but it was ok . the main buffet at night was to small for the amount of guest there had to wait sometimes 20 minutes at the different stations. oth [... read more]er then that the resort was good

Hotel Mojito: a place to visit that makes you want to return

trip was amazing staff very nice food great weather great beach beautiful the staff made my trip they were their to please. would recommend to everyone great for kids and a adult pool to get away from kids .room was great big king size bed maid came same time every day bar fridge stocked every day need extra water or beer they would be pleased to help

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Friendly resort

The grounds were great with friendly staff. Bathrooms could be stocked better with toilet paper as some didn’t have any or ran out. Beach was beautiful and clean!!!! Swimming pools were always full of entertaining fun.

Melia Costa Rey: Beautiful resort

Very nice resort....upscale. Some rooms were recently renovated so they look new, whiles some rooms are still there from the start of the resort. Food was ok. The place is always clean. Beach is beautiful and people are great.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great friendly resort

Small resort about 300 spacious rooms with ocean front and ocean view rooms. With everything close to your accommodation. Needs improvement on supply of towels and face cloths. Maybe better TV service. Needs ventilation in the main restaurant and to fumeagate more often because of mosquitos. Other than that service on the beach was extremely friendly.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Nice Resort

This resort is a 4 star. It’s location is good, beach and water area was one of the best i’ve visited in Cuba. Rooms were comfortable, staff were friendly. But the food was not up to 4 star standards, no croissants in the morning, had bacon only once in the 7 days we stayed. The grill on the beach served the same food every day. Buffet lunch was always the same fish, chicken and pork. No themed lunches. I recommend the Japanese A La Carta not the other ones.

Melia Cayo Coco: Truly a dream vacation!

Our two weeks at Melia Cayo Coco were just as we hoped starting with the great service and advice from Trip Central and Debbie Maguire. The Melia resort is a great example of how a place should be run. The grounds are so well taken care of by all the gardeners and maintenance personnel. Room service and housekeeping is at the top of its class. People were constantly cleaning, sweeping, and wiping down everything all over the resort. The buffet and a la cartes were of the best quality food-w [... read more]ise with a vast array of all kinds of dishes. The desserts and ice cream challenge a good restaurant here in Canada. The cooks and wait staff are so friendly and they really care about your stay and try to get to know you. We met some wonderful new Cuban friends among the employees. The pool is shallow but deep enough to enjoy a good swim. Bernard, the general manager, was visible morning, afternoon, and evening. He was very friendly and approachable. My wife had a couple of medical issues and the doctor on site treated her with expert care. All in all, we were very pleased with our two weeks there and we are definitely going back next year
