Live Aqua Cancun: Mixed feelings

The Staff and the food were excellent, could not ask to be treated any better! The services were excellent as well the exception was the rooms... Our room and the entire hallway leading to our room had a very bad sewer gas smell! They knew about the issue before hand because of all the incense in the hallways which actually became more over powering then the sewer gas smell! We had to keep the door to the bathroom closed at all times just to be able to stay in the room! The rooms were getting ou [... read more]tdated as in the furniture was very worn and abused! We didn't spend a lot of time in the rooms anyway way so we did enjoy our Vacation at this resort!

Loved the professionalism of the resort staff. New hotel, gorgeous modern. Wonderful restaurants, excellent adult only, location perfect to see Cancun if you want. Great entertainment, amazing time here. Rooms are over the top. Excellent ambiance everywhere.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Luxury and Affordability

MEXICO! Excellence Playa Mujeres was our first all-inclusive vacation destination. It's THE way to travel! This hotel location made us feel very safe. The Hotel was beautiful and intimate. Our room was very comfortable and very clean and the mini bar was always fully stocked. The many restaurants had their own international flair; exceptional dining with friendly, knowledgeable service staff. There was always someone who had a broad knowledge of the wine menu. After a taxi ride to a local shopping mall and an easy ferry ride to The Isla Mujeres for an afternoon of strolling, shopping and eating, returning "home" to cool off in the Lazy River was so refreshing. Because every evening, top quality entertainment is enjoyed near the outdoor bar, in the theater and there are "special night" surprises! The Pyramid Cancun: Amazing Resort!!!

Excellent for any age group to visit. Staffs are friendly. We stayed in a water view room on the top floor. Room is clean. Shows are entertaining. Foods are good especially the "White Box" with a 2 star Michelin chef. Absolutely will visit again!

Riu Palace Peninsula: "Disappointing "

The food was not good and the service not the greatest. We expected more from this place since it's a new built resort and under "Riu Palace" category. Pool service was horrible. The beach wasn't good to swim .

Beach Palace: Good resort

Except for messing me up for my room resort was good. I attended a wedding. Experience was good. Beach is very nice and clean. Japanese restuarant so so. Terrace pools great place for party. Easy access to shopping.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Amazing place

The place is awsome I have been there 4 times and it keeps getting better!!! I have been there four times the pool is awesome the food is awesome lots of liquor just an amazing place to be centrally located you're just a taxicab away from everything

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Return Trip Guaranteed!!

We visited the Gran Caribe Real in March 2014, it was amazing!! Right from the first day I could see that this was going to be an awesome trip. The place was beautiful, and the staff were all so amazing. We got a beachfront walkout room, and I have to say this was the closest to the beach of any place that we've ever stayed, literally on the beach. The spa experience was perfect, Maria and Letti were our regulars, and gave the most amzing massage ever. Our room category also included access to the Hyatt Zilara next door, this place was so beautiful. The facilities there were a bit more high end I must say. The food at the buffet restuarant there was delicious, and the service was top shelf. I wish I could remember the guys name that made my girlfriend the specialty coffe, it was a show in itself watch him pour the flaming liquor, truly a sight to see. The gym there was very nice, lots of equipment, and nice and cool to workout. Needless to say, this has become our favorite amongst all the places we've been to date. Ever since we've been home we constantly talk about our next trip back there, and have already started planning it now. Riu Caribe Cancun: Travel Virgin

I bought this as a gift for my son and his girlfriend. She has travelled the world and this was his first trip outside of Canada or the U.S.A....they had a great time. The resort was clean with lots of food options. The staff was all very nice and helpful with information for off the resort. It was such a good experience that they can't wait to start planning their next trip.

The Pyramid Cancun: Best of both worlds

The resort was a nice first time stay for Mexico. You had lots of time to relax and have a good time in the evening as well. The staff was on top of everything and helped out whenever needed. They had performances during the evening for all age groups and beautiful views from our suite. I would absolutely go again.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: second time

While the resort had changed somewhat in 10 years I luv this place for the relaxed fun atmosphere created by the energetic staff and of course no little kids. The food is great too. Sure there is entertainment offered in the evening which is worth the look if you're feeling like you're looking for something to do but I wouldn't say it was a highlight of our trip. The resort overbooked so our reservation at the resort for the first night was spent elsewhere and while they did upgrade us it was an [... read more] inconvenience.

Moon Palace Cancun: This resort checks all my boxes!

I was surprised to have such delicious food ,service, and entertainment. Easy access to anywhere you want to go....and swimming with dolphins was practically on the resort! So well done. The people (staff)were just delightful, very accommodating and even try to remember your name. We will be going back.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Beautiful resort with top notch service

The rooms, grounds, and beach are gorgeous! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We were originally staying in a room that had an unfortunate view of some major construction, which was very loud at all times of the day. We were so happy with the concierge though, who quickly had us moved to another room on the other side of the resort. They even called the next day to make sure that we were happy with the new arrangements. My husband and I appreciated this very much.

Villa Del Palmar Cancun: Relaxing Resort

We have enjoyed a one week all inclusive package vacation three times at the Villa Del Palmar resort in Cancun. The hotel is approximately a forty minute drive from the airport and a thirty minute drive from downtown. On arrival at the hotel we were welcomed with a cold drink while we waited to check in. Checking in went smoothly and we asked for a room on an upper floor. We also asked the Concierge not to be disturbed by time share sales reps and had no problem. We were more than happy with our [... read more] room which had spectacular ocean views, and also inviting views of the Isla Mujeres. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and the housekeeper did a wonderful job. The rooms are large and modern with a huge balcony and a double hammock to relax in. There is also a mini fridge in the room which is replenished every day with beer, soft drinks, and snacks. These little extra touches added to our enjoyment. The hotel is well maintained and the beautiful gardens are immaculate. The pool area is comfortable with plenty of loungers and towels available. If you prefer the beach, you will find ample shade from the palm trees, umbrellas, and Bali beds, or you can enjoy a cold drink on one of the many loungers. There are several restaurants and bars to choose from, and we were always welcomed by friendly, professional staff serving excellent food and drinks. The same quality of service is offered from room service which is delivered promptly. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to a flea market or to the mall in downtown Cancun, or you can enjoy some time on the Isla Mujeres. The ferry to the island is located next to the hotel. Once on the island you can rent a golf cart all day for 40-50 USD. allowing plenty of time for exploring the islands amenities, like shopping, bars and restaurants, snorkeling, etc. This is a quiet hotel where you can relax and enjoy the sun and quiet evenings. However if you prefer a party atmosphere and more activities, you may want to consider the hotel zone. My husband and I are experienced travelers who have enjoyed many different types of vacation. We found the Villa Del Palmar to be very relaxing, and highly recommend it.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Beautiful resort!

My husband and I stayed at Barcelo Costa Cancun for 6 nights in June and we were overall very happy with their services. The room was very nice, but since it did not have a balcony, it was difficult to dry our bathing suits after each dip in the sea. You can, of course, upgrade to a room with a balcony (big, fancy one, with hammocks), but all we wanted was a place to dry wet clothes. The hotel pool and the beach were also very nice, as were the amenities, such as towels and lounge chairs. The se [... read more]a water could have been cleaner of algae, but overall, it was perfectly nice. Since we booked all inclusive, we got to try a couple of the restaurants at the hotel. We loved Claraboya and Mexico Lindo, where the food was truly delicious, but were not really crazy about the Albatros. This last one is the only one that does not require reservations and appeared to be extremely popular with the other guests, but we found the food really bland and tasteless. When we asked why there are no bold flavours that one normally associates with the Mexican cuisine, our server replied that it was because most tourists shy away from spicy food, so the hotel food is made with such concerns in mind. I guess that explains it, so if you are not afraid of spice, you better avoid Albatros altogether. Speaking of restaurants, the reservation system seemed a little useless and unnecessary. In order to eat at one of the three restaurants at Barcelo Costa Cancun that require reservations, you had to make those reservations in the morning of the day in question. You missed that for whatever reason (in our case, we were always in a rush to leave on very early trips), you were left with the Albatros, even though the other restaurants were by no means full. In fact, they had only a few tables reserved. Finally, we were deeply impressed by the personnel working at Barcelo. From the very nice ladies at the reception, to the bartenders, the ladies cleaning our room, the porters and the waiters, each and every member of the staff has been incredibly attentive, personable and helpful towards us. These people are the ones that actually make Barcelo Costa Cancun function smoothly every day and that make people like us feel welcomed and taken care of. I hope that their employers appreciate their hard work as much as we did.

Villa Del Palmar Cancun: Villa Del Palmar, A great and amazing place

Excellent customer service, we got to the hotel and we are greeted with the cool beverage, after a long travel there is nothing we can asked for than to be greeted with the great hospitality staff. We had an excelltent experienced with the hotel staff as being kind and helpful- great service with a great smile. The place is beatiful and clean. Occidental Tucancun: friendly resort

Hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. Drinks were excellent! Food was good and the restaurants were never overly busy. really close to a shopping center. What else can you ask for?

Melody Maker Cancun: Good Resort

This is a very good resort in terms of the food, grounds and location.
