Grand Park Royal Cancun: Best resort ever

Excellent food, great service and very friendly staff, will return next spring, the room are very clean and fantastic view. The beach is very nice great for walking , the surf at time pretty heavy need to respect the red flag

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great time!

Stayed here for a week with a friend. Found the resort to be clean and well kept. The pools were nice (lots of kids in the main pool) but also a nice adult only pool. Beach was stunning but heavy waves at times. The food at the buffet was fine, lots of options. The food at the a la carte restaurants was excellent. Right on Cancun strip, just a short drive to the airport and lots of nearby attractions.

Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun: Great Trip Overall

I visited the Fiesta Americana in Cancun and enjoyed every minute of my stay. The service was remarkable and the room service was an added bonus. The food was always hot upon arrival. All of the bartenders and servers were extremely kind and quick. The a-la-carte restaurants were among the best that I have been to at an all inclusive resort. The taco bar by the pool was exceptional, with fresh catches daily. The grounds were always clean and the pools were well maintained. All in all, I don't ha [... read more]ve much negative to say about this resort except that if you are looking for a party resort this isn't it. It was quiet for the most part and the lobby bar was really the only bar to hang out at in the evenings.

Villa Del Palmar Cancun: Paradise

We recently travelled to Cancun, more specifically to Villa Del Palmar Resort where we stayed for 7 nights. I must say this was the best all inclusive resort ever. The service was impeccable, the staff was cheerful, extremely pleasant and attentive and guests were treated with the utmost respect at all times. The food was excellent and plentiful whether you ate at the A la Carte restaurants or at the Buffet. We were even served drinks and/or food at the beach... this was a first for us. When din [... read more]ing at the Buffet, tables were set outside around the pool and dinner was followed by nightly entertainment... lots of fun and really nice of the hotel and staff to set it up every night. The rooms were beautiful, very clean with a balcony overlooking the ocean and what a view, just gorgeous - the bed was really comfy -my husband and I never slept so well. And oh! we even had a hamac on our balcony. As for the grounds and the pools (all five of them) they were beautiful and well kept with little nooks here and there in shady or sunny areas to relax, chat and with friends and family. Also a plus whas the fact there were enough chairs for everyone. I don't know about you but if there's one thing I hate doing while on vacation is hunting for chairs either at the pools or at the beach - believe it or not we did not have to get up early in the morning to reserve chairs.... We intend on returning next year - this is a first for us as we don't usually go to the same resort twice. This was in fact our dream vacation - thanks to the the staff at Villa Del Palmar.

Grand Oasis Palm: Good for family with kids

Nice and clean resort located in the hotel zone, convenient to family with small kids, there is kids club available and fully supervised. The beach is nice and water is calm, good for little kids to play in.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Very Nice Resort!! The party all day evey day

Everything was clean and in very good condition. Food was not bad, imo not great. They have everything set up to have a blast. Nice swim up bar. Topless pool. But what ever you do don't go for the morning breakfest thing with them, Recommended!!.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Stunning Resort!

Everything was top notch. The food at all of the restaurants was awesome. We stayed in the adults only section and it was a fabulous upgrade with a nice private pool and drink service at the pool. We will definitely stay here again.

The Pyramid Cancun: Great Resort to have fun !

Grand Oasis Cancun Great resort for families with children in their teens, or for individuals from 20 -50 years old Size of the resort This is a fairly big resort but not so big that you need to take shuttles. If you had to walk from one side of the resort to the other it would take 5 minutes. The grounds are very clean Rooms The rooms are not outstanding but clean and functional. Food Excellent if you get the Grand Oasis package which allows access to all restaurants. Every style of food you like. There are a few specialty restaurants tucked away so you must make sure your explore and get to these places. Entertainment Not really any entertainment crew. Loud music at the one pool which is great if that is what you are looking for. Beach The hotel is right on the beach, beach is fantastic. Walk for miles and miles on white sand. Overall We are a family of 5 (children 19, 21, 23) and have thoroughly enjoyed going to the Grand Oasis Cancun. We have actually been 3 times. We have gone to nicer places in the Mayan and Dominican but overall for fun, upbeat crowd and very good food the Grand Oasis has been excellent. Note: If you haven't been to Cancun, you absolutely must go to Coco Bongos. We have gone every year and still love it. Pay the $80 and go. You will not regret it.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Iberostar Cancun kids club a disaster

As much as I liked Iberostar hotel i would not rrecommend it for family with small kids. The kids club had only one !!!! adult supervising all activities. Pool,beach etc. If one kid needed to be reunited with the parent the One adult supervised would leave the other kids ...in pool!!!!...and go to find mommy/daddy. That is a disaster waiting to happen. Other 4 star hotels ,and we have been in quite a few,have a device that is given to parents when they sign in their kids,so when the child is loo [... read more]king for mommy/daddy the device signals and parent can go and get the child. And all had more staff in kids club. All bars,restaurant ,polls etc had plenty of staff. Only kidsclub was understaffed!!!! Ican't understand why the management is so negligent about the kids safety. I would not compromise my kids safety in exchange for food and drinks. However it seems that iberostar Cancun does exactly that. Even with great food,pool,beach and room, I can not rate it 4 star.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Awesome resort and excellent service!!!!

I love staying at RIU hotels and RIU Caribe met my standards! The jospitLity was impeccable and the staff was sooooo accommodating . The food had plentiful choices , the day and nightly entertainment was super fun and the hotel was extremely clean!!! Highly recommend this hotel!!

Sandos Cancun: Small and quiet

I have traveled to 5 star hotels and although this hotel had some good points, I would not rate it a 5 star. First of all, believe it when reviews say it is very small and quiet. Nighttime activities are non-existent. They try to have some entertainment but it is always the same guy singing ballads in the lounge bar. One night, there was a dj who was playing good music, but not long after we got there, the same singer came on to sing slow songs... Again. Champagne party is also more hype then it [... read more] really is. We didn't really hang out by the pool much. Got up really really early the last few days to reserve a cabana on the beach (5:45). Otherwise there are not enough umbrellas and people were seen arguing over them. Also, some of the ones they did have were broken. The beach is the best part of this place.The restaurants are ok. Seasons restaurant was good but I had the risotto one night and it was so salty I had to send it back. Besides that it was very good. The gaijin was ok too. Buffet in the morning was great, at lunch, there were hardly any fruit to choose from. The BBQ on the beach was good. As for the drinks, it really depended who made them, however since I've been there, I have seen on Facebook that all the bartenders got a course in drink mixing. The room was so so. I've seen much more luxurious rooms. The gym is huge but again only 2 out of 5 treadmills were in working order. They ran out of wipes to clean off the machines after the first day I was there and did not add more the rest of my stay so it was really gross. Therefore, bottom line is If you get a really good deal then it's great, otherwise find something else. One more thing: staff is very friendly and great!

Villa Del Palmar Cancun: Best trip ever!

Staff polite and very helpful in all areas. Food was great including late room service. Beautifully landscaped. Daytime and nightly activities! A bit out of the way but Isla Mujeres easily accessible. Would return!

Moon Palace Cancun: The best family resort!

Moon Palace was by far the best family resort we have visited. We have stayed at 4 other properties in this areas and this resort ranks #1 for food, drinks, pools and service. The only disappointment for us was the beach. Our family enjoys swimming in the clear blue water and this beach was full of seaweed to the point where I didn't see anyone swim. The 1500 resort credits was a nice bonus. I would highly recommend this resort for a family.

Hyatt Zilara Cancun: Will return to this resort

Overall the hotel is great. We really had no complaints. We have been a few times and will go back. The pool is very private in spots and the beds are comfortable both around the pool and in the rooms. You won't be disappointed.

Temptation Resort & Spa: No time to sleep!

The hotel grounds were well maintained, the staff was warm and welcoming. The food and entertainment was excellent. An array of activities available. I did not leave the resort for the full seven days. I would return in a heartbeat!

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Amazing Resort

Rooms, pool, service, Hotel, great. Front door man helped me when my phone went dead and I needed to make very important call. I asked for a cab to go and buy a new phone. He gave me his instead. I made my call and all was good. That is great service for me. Above and beyond I was so impressed by his kindness in helping me at a very important moment.

Villa Del Palmar Cancun: Lap Of Luxury!

We spent 7 days at the Villa Del Palmar just outside of Cancun this past January. We were super excited as we have been to Cancun before and have compared all of our other trips to this amazing place. Also the reviews of this hotel looked promising and we thought this was going to be the recipe for our all time favourite trip! Unfortunately for us, it started to rain during our transfer from the airport to the hotel, and it didn't stop the entire time we were there. We were extremely disappointe [... read more]d with the weather because our winters back home are so long and cold!!! The only saving grace was the Villa Del Palmar itself. The resort was beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff very attentive and helpful, and the 1 bedroom suite was bar none, the best hotel room we have EVER stayed in! One other positive, we also met so many awesome fellow travellers who helped us forget about the weather, and really have some fun despite the rain. We highly recommend this "hidden jewel" of a hotel. We are afraid that once the word gets out, it will be extremely busy!

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Excellent choice

We stayed at EPM the first week of this April 2013 and had a great time. We requested a quiet room in the non-EC section and were placed in building 5 which suited us perfectly. We also contacted the hotel to ask them to reduce the use of scented products/cleaners in our room as my wife has multiple chemical sensitivities. They were responsive and while not perfect, we did receive a call from the Manager of Concierge during the first few days asking how they were doing, and if there was any more [... read more] that could be done. As has been noted by others, the lobby is heavily scented and this made entering or passing through it very difficult for my wife. Consequently we did not make as much use of the restaurants and shops within it. For the first time, we decided to go with a swim-up room, and this was the best decision we made. EPM has a very comfortable patio, and add to this your own stretch of grass up to the pool edge and you have heaven. It can be difficult to get back out of the lazy river once in, as there are only steps in the area near the Revive Juice Bar (mmmm!). The location of building 5 in early April gave us shade in the morning and then sun from about 11:30 on. So, after breakfast it was an unobstructed beach walk north, then time to sit in the sun near one of the other pools, and back to our swim-up for after lunch with a cooling off float around the lazy river from time to time. We had an amazing time at EPM and would recommend it to anyone. Great hotel, great service, great food and great location

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Good Value

We stayed at this resort in January 2014. This was ouir first stay at on the Cancun Strip but have been to the Caribbean 10 previous times. Good things about this resort is that there is lots to do for kids (we aer a family of 5) and that the quality of everything is pretty good. Decent entertainment. Accomodates a family of 5 without breaking the bank. Food was OK. Overall, generally meets 4 star expectations. Bad things - If you don't have kids, this is not the resort for you. There are kids e [... read more]verywhere. The buffet can be difficult to find a seat in the mornings when it is most busiest. The pool was very cool during our trip because it is shaded by the resort from about 4PM on each day.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: wonderful stat

This place is great, the staff is amazing, The entertainement at the pool was pleasant. We had some good laugh. The food was excellent, lots of choices. It was my first time to Mexico for my 18 years old daughter and I, and we both enjoy it. My only recommandation would be to makes sure your room is not next to a family with a baby or small children (cries during the night, and get up early.)
