Resort is beautiful, long sandy beach, water little rough but did not prevent us from swimming in the ocean. Resort is clean, well maintained, food no complain, service excellent. Rooms spacious; air conditioning working perfect, cleaning service excellent. All in all great vacation!

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Such an AMAZING HONEYMOON!!

We came to Planet Hollywood for our honeymoon April 8-15. We stayed in the adult only section and upgraded to star class. We stayed in building 11 and it was a good location in our opinion. Honestly our butler Yomelly truly made our experience the best. We had a second butler Issac who was also truly amazing!!!! They both went out of their way each and everyday to check in on us, see how our dinner went the night before, share the resort activities for the day and Yomelly would even show up  [... read more]to our dinner reservations to make sure we had everything we needed. Further to all of this amazing service, Yomelly and Isaac even decorated our room one day to surprise us for our honeymoon. It was so heartfelt!! The resort itself is beautiful. I know there are some reviews that complain how only a 3 year old resort can look run down, I disagree. Yes there is some wear and tear but there are over hundreds of people staying there ALL the TIME, you’d think there would wear and tear. I didn’t see any issues with the wear and tear and it did not take away from our amazing experience. The food is great! Buffet food is buffet food, the adult Braza Grill for breakfast is great, the Sunset Steakhouse is so good!!!!! Catch is great for lunch! Pool entertainment on the adult side is so fun. Moses, Hector, Adrian & Carlos hosted fun challenges and games! The DJ was also very good. The foam party on Friday was a lot of fun!! Overall we had an amazing time and we will be back in January 2025 for our friends bday as we sold her on having it at this resort!

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Hotel dios playas faranda

When we first got to this hotel I was very surprised at the size ! It was small villas which we found more cozier. Rooms are cleaned everyday, towels changed ! I love where the safe is situated , easy for me to reach ! There is the main buffet dining room , there is an a La carte Mexican restaurant , pizza place and Japanese. Krystal Grand Cancun: Good resort

The beach is breathtaking. White sand, clear water, no vendors. Lots of chairs if you are there early. Locals are on the beach also but don’t use resort chairs. Hotel overall was good. Small resort, lots of pools, but lacked entertainment. The staff are very friendly and the drinks are very good Rooms are clean and cleaned daily I recommend ocean view altitude building.The breakfast was good and there is a bar in the building You need to reserve restaurants between 9-10 am daily w [... read more]ith long line up to get a reservation booked. I prefer to just walk up when I am hungry. The buffet was small, was almost all Mexican food and service was lacking. You needed to find staff to get water or cutlery. It’s a short walk to the market, grocery store, restaurants and bars. We felt safe off of the resort. Very long bus ride to Plays del Carmen. But a short walk to get a ferry to Isla Mujeres which we enjoyed and rented gulf carts to see the island.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Bahía Príncipe Coba

We had a great trip. Great food, great rooms, great service. My only con would be whenever we needed the trams they were no where to be seen or going the wrong way. I knew the resort was big but was happy the trams were there. The other Bahias I’ve been to the trams seemed to be continuous. We had a great vacay and I would recommend just beware it is a very big resort. Also the beach was very rocky. I would wear water shoes. Pools were great and a few to choose from.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Pretty close to Excellent!

I truly enjoyed all aspects of this resort, from the beaches, to food options, the beverages, the service was awesome and the quality of everything was fantastic! I had a couple of room issues upon arrival but they were resolved within 30 minutes of my complaint.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya: Nice laid back resort for relaxation

Resort is very nice. New and clean. Always felt safe and all staff were always very welcoming. Entertainment team is pretty good and pool bars have good drinks and service. Restaurants are pretty good. Buffet is ok but Italian was excellent and Landshark pub was great. Breakfast was always fantastic and great service. Luis was amazing to us. Some things that fell short for the price was their reservation system is not good and hard to get times. Pools are cold so most adult resorts we'v [... read more]e been to have heated pools so this was disappointing at times. Joe merchant's which is coffee house and sweets was always amazing. Snacks were great. One last thing is it's theeeee most expensive resort we've ever been to. We've been lucky enough to travel the past 10 years and mostly to Mexico. Things that are included in other resorts like specialty drinks, bud lite, gift shop etc is by far the most expensive we've ever been. Their spa is crazy expensive and we live spas. We've been to grand moon place spa and other top ones with hydrotherapy etc and this place was wayyyyy more money which was surprising. Over all for a place to relax, have good food, great service and a nice e vibe and great cleanliness this would be for you.

Moon Palace Cancun: Great vacation and resort!

We all had a great time at Moon Palace! Stayed at Sunrise and convenient location to the beach and restaurants. Resort was clean and service was great. Brenda was so helpful with booking us the vacation and giving us great advice. Thanks!!!

Villablanca Huatulco: Friendly staff, excellent food, good location!

Villa Blanca staff and food are exceptional! I very much enjoyed the breakfast each day! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Improved lighting in the rooms would be nice, otherwise it was comfortable and just what we needed.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Sandos

First room they gave me was in the family section nice room but a very long walk to get the tram (train Tran) . I was then moved to the adult section on the second floor with the elevator not working. The second night in my new room the air conditioner stopped working so did not get a good nights rest. Otherwise not as good of a vacation as last year’s. Other issues were with Air Canada. Dealing with trip central was easy and delightful, Thank you Richard Denis

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Great family resort

Resort is huge, it’s actually 6 resorts that are all linked together. The 4 resorts in the middle are the normal level family resorts (Tropical, Colonial, Caribe, Beach). The one on the north side is the higher end Palace family resort, the one on the south side is the adults only resort. There is as double decker bus that you can jump on and off at each of the resorts, it also stops at the go cart track, the mall, the spa, and the beach/dolphin show (all of these are located on the resort!). [... read more] There is a ton of things to do to keep you/kids busy. Even though the overall resort is huge, you will prob spend most of your time around where you are staying. We did the go carts which was fun, but kids have to be 14 to drive on their own. Also don’t go in the middle of the day (too hot). Dolphin show is good, but we felt sorry for the dolphins in that small space. Snorkeling is good out from the beach when it’s clear. I was a few stingrays, 1 small shark, and a bunch of different fish. If you go near some of the tide pools in waist deep water with some bread from the buffet you will have a bunch of fish come around you. Just drop the pieces of bread in the water, don’t hold it for them cause some have sharp teeth. Worth a visit is one of the cenotes across the road (not on the resort). We just walked across and went to Cenote Cristalino (google it) which was $47 US for all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids). There are other cenotes around there too, but they are more expensive. The restaurants were all very good and worth checking out. The buffet is good, standard stuff you find at a resort buffet. We never had an issue finding tables and never waited very long for food. The nightly shows are ok, we’ve seen ones that are much better. But hey it gives you something to do after dinner. We booked with WestJet Vacations. They had a small shuttle waiting for us that only went to our resort which was nice. Shuttle ride was 45-60 mins from the airport and was comfortable. We stayed at the Beach resort, which we were happy with. Overall we were very happy with the vacation and would go back there again. Happy travels!

Riu Dunamar: Not a senior friendly resort.

We had to walk 500 steps to get to the elevator from our room. The stairs were near but it was hard for my husband to use those. He is 85 years old and has Alzheimer’s. The dining area floor seemed to be slippery in some spots and I know I had to be careful not to walk fast. > Room lights were all very bright, so reading in bed was not fun. Corridors were very poorly lit. I even found the toilets rather far to take my husband who needed to go frequently. Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Awesome Resort!

The Sunscape Dorado Pacifico was amazing! Everyone from the desk staff and Bellmen, to the bartenders, servers and entertainment team were amazing! The sun club privileges were wonderful! Premium beverages were available, and the private air conditioned lounge was fantastic.Having also a private Sun Club area on the beach was definitely a bonus. The hotel was extremely clean, the garden areas are very lush and well groomed landscaping is seen throughout the resort. The food was quite d [... read more]elicious and with so many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner available it was hard not to overindulge! Several theme nights for dinners were also hosted and very tasty! There is an area in the lobby that posts all of the daily activities and everything that you can participate in at the resort each day, which is very helpful when trying to make your plans. The resort offers several activities such as bicycle tours of Ixtapa and cooking classes, dance classes, Spanish classes and activities for the children. There is also a food truck in the children's area that has many kid friendly options. The rooms were well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable. Water pressure was awesome and maid service was fantastic! While a bit challenging at times to get pool-side beach chairs together, we always managed to find a couple available most times of the day. The pool was large enough to entertain adults and children all day long, and the entertainment team kept everyone engaged in pool activities. The beach is covered with the most luxurious sand! A few steps from your beach chair and you are ankle deep in cool ocean waters! This resort is definitely a must do for singles, couples and families. Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Not the Iberostar it once was......

As outlined in most of reviews I read, the following are rated by my standards of an All Inclusive Week: Property: excellent maintained and beautiful. Pool: Large and a great feature of the resort. Pool chairs were a problem for only half of the week. Food: Average. Buffet was very similar but did have a good variety of items. Went to the Italian for dinner one night, it was terrible. Beach: Very good compared to most Mayan beaches. Value for the week: Below my expectations. I was here back in 2018 and I do believe the resort offerings have gone downhill. Room: Good. Dated but clean. Everything worked but its time to do some renovations. Check in/out: Great. Arrived late so were the only ones that checked in. Check out was very easy and fast. Concierge: Horrible. It reminded me of the time share bandits that usually hound you at the Cancun Airport. Must be on a commission or have quotas in the job. Very unprofessional for the Iberostar chain. Never really understood me when i indicated I wasn't interested. Shops: Pricing was ridiculous. Not sure why but it seemed that everything was overpriced and not of great value. I looked at a shirt and felt that the price was 4 times more than what it was worth. I did notice that suntan lotion was totally stupid in price. Make sure you bring more than what you need. Staff: Pool entertainers were great, front desk great and room cleaning was also great. I guess my only concern is a disappointment with Management. I really didn't feel like a valued Customer. No plans to go back to this resort. I might give Iberostar another chance down the road.

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: ~~

Wasn’t the best resort we’ve been to, when we requested shampoo and towels they didn’t bring it up; had to request it a few times. The accommodations in the room were not that great. The WiFi doesn’t work in the bathroom, we had the door tag on for room service to clean our room and they didn’t, so we didn’t tip. Not the best experience

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beach was terrible

The hotel itself was beautiful. Staff were friendly. Rooms are outdated but still nice. Food was incredible. Be prepared for lots of walking. The resort is massive. If you are a beach person, this is not the resort for you. So rocky and not big at all. Good luck finding a chair also. The tram system is fine but not reliable.

Krystal Grand Cancun: Disappointed

Krystal Grand Cancun-Altitude Tower (Upgraded) Other buildings are older and outdated. Altitude tower was nice. The beach was absolutely perfect. The pools were good, and the drinks were decent. The food was by far the worst I have had at an all-inclusive. Keep in mind that I am not fussy, and I have been to several resorts. There were very few a-la-carte options; Asian food was okay. Altitude guests did have a private breakfast sit-down meal, which was actually really good, with lots to select from. Room service was available (and free) to have things like burgers and nachos. This was helpful when I was tired of the limited restaurants and buffet selection. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was very limited entertainment, which was surprising to me. The first few days, there was no radio playing music anywhere. Then, it seemed on day 4 of 7, they started having a bit of music by the pool. There was only one show (Mayan theme) in the entire 7 days. I found we needed to go off the resort for any entertainment. The location was great; it was in the heart of downtown Cancun and within walking distance of many great spots. It is a family resort with adult-only areas, and small children are everywhere. Small kids were even sitting up at the bar I would not return to this resort unless there were some changes. I honestly hope to hear changes made someday, and I would reconsider. I am not the person who typically makes complaints, so don't think I am another person who just likes to complain. I am purely being honest. If I had to rate this resort: Food 3/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Entertainment 2/10 Drinks 7/10 Beach 10/10 Location 10/10

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Just what we needed

Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness resort was a setting for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The rooms, were clean and comfortable, the staff were so friendly and helpful going above and beyond with service. I would have liked to see more variety with the buffet and restaurant choices but we were not hungry. What a beautiful resort! Room always clean and so stylish! Everyday the buffet was outstanding...food variety and taste was amazing. Entertainment every night. Bar service ,top rate! Stafff?.... hats off to you all for always going the extra mile.....

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Great resort

The resort is well maintained, the staff are excellent, and the food is very good. There are three pools: very busy, busy and quiet. Each pool and building has its own concierge to ensure all your wants and needs are taken care. We have been to several Secrets, but enjoyed this location the best. This was our third visit.
