Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Wonderful Time

This was our 2nd time to this resort. Glad we came back as it was just as amazing as it was last year. The rooms, grounds, beach, pool, and service were all wonderful! The staff are all so friendly, helpful and courteous. I have recommended this resort to numerous friends and family. You won't be disappointed if you prefer a smaller quiet resort. The rooftop patio has a beautiful view and infinity pool. See you again soon Krystal Grand!! :)

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing resort!

My impression about this resort are as : - Ground was beautiful Buildings and rooms very clean Service workers everywhere very professional Food excellent, restorant very clean. All in all, very nice place to be as a four star resort priced well. Everything organised and managed properly.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: barcelo Maya Riviera - Adults only. Modern and very well managed

The Barcello Maya Riviera is the "adults only" and newest addition to the strip of Barcello hotels that are all on the same property. The hotels are all lined up beside each other along the shore. I would guess that its about a kilometer of walkable beach between the ends of the barcello property. The hotel is the newest one on this property. The building, lobby, and grounds are maintained beautifully. The hotel is very modern and current. The stone and tile work is outstanding.  [... read more] Breakfast and lunch is only available in the very large buffet. The hotel is able to host large conventions and this buffet section is built to handle it. The variety of food is great and well made. There are 4 other a la cart restaurants. Reservations are required. The service is excellent, the menus are excellent, the food is excellent. This is one of the best restaurant experiences we have had over the years. The pools are the largest, and cleanest we have seen. 4 Infinity edge, pools with a number of waterfall and tub like settings with jets. Beautifully maintained and a pleasure to use. This was our 2nd time back over 4 years. The hotel is maintained to the highest standard.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Amazing resort

we spent a week for my niece's wedding and it was amazing! This is a large resort with plenty to do. They are very well equipped for kids and adults. Pools were great, rooms were clean, and they had the largest buffet I've ever seen. Also plenty of à la cart restaurants, but do book early. The one hour snorkelling booked through the resort's dive center, which was a 10 minute boat ride away, was spectacular and very were worse the time and money.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Relaxing, Quiet, Clean, Beautiful

Spacious grounds, pretty gardens, very clean. Suite was spacious, clean, fridge constantly stocked with beverages, plenty of towels, shampoo/soap. Bed was comfortable. A variety of foods and restaurants to chose from, all delicious! Breakfast was our favorite, awesome omelets, French toast, pancakes, fruit. Ask for bacon! Occidental Costa Cancun: Fantastic

Everything was fantastic especially the staff. The swimming area in the ocean was small but access to the bars was very easy to get to also the ala carte. Met a lot of nice people from England, Poland , Ottawa Alberta , US , Argentina, The excursion was very good and also the tour guide. The staff always cleaning all round. The buffet was great and the snack bar.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Love the area.

Knew what to expect, have been there 3 times before. The only issue we had was not having any chairs on the beach. Never had this problem before, it seemed half of the lounge chairs were missing. The staff were wonderful as have been every time we have stayed at Decameron Los Cocos. The meals were good always finding enough of the things we like to eat. Loved walking around the main streets and found it very comfortable and safe. The venders down the streets and on the beach are awesome!

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Wonderful place

This was our second time there, and we enjoyed it. The staff was extremely helpful - a shout our for the front office manager Jorge (I am sure I am not spelling his name right!!), and Carolina! Thank you both for making the stay pleasant. The food was great, and we enjoyed the Mexican restaurant especially. The grill restaurant was a HUGE disappointment though. I know the hotel cannot do anything about it (maybe you can??), but the beach was really bad. The rocks jutted out and the legs and feet got scraped a lot. If anything can be done about it, then it would go a long way in ensuring repeat customers. Some guests at the beach would occupy the loungers by placing their towels and "reserve" their seats. Some of us were left waiting more than two to three hours for someone to vacate, while those loungers stayed empty of guests. One day I decided to occupy after waiting for a while, and after two hours a couple came to claim "their" spot and the girl was very unpleasant and rude. If the hotel staff could monitor this, it would be polite to all the guests.

Ocean Maya Royale: Very nice resort!!

This resort is excellent as an adult get away. The grounds and the rooms are very well taken care of. This is the first resort (out of 10 trips up to date), that we don't need reservations at restaurants and are able to have à la carte restaurants every night if we wanted, except for the Japanese one. You can only reserve the same night at 5:30pm for your meal between 6:30 and 10pm (no big thing). The Hacienda (buffet) has a different theme every day, which is also very nice. El Charro re [... read more]staurant on the quiet pool side has excellent burgers, fries and salad at lunch time. The nightly shows are half different from other resorts we have been to. Tourists actually participate in great numbers to pool activities and beach volleyball. It would be nice to have more shade around the regular pool. The beach is cleaned daily when weeds show up. Barman does come on the beach if you want anything.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: The name says it all- Paradise!

Absolutely fantastic location. Couldn't have asked for anything better with this resort. Nice layout of the resort, nice balance of adults, kids and privilege areas. Tons of loungers at all pools (as long as you reserve early). All staff were SUPER nice and happy. Not too far from the airport. Was very happy with the privilege option.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Amazing beach

This is a very nice resort for the money. Very nice rooms, the property is spotless. The people mover trolleys are awesome and are constantly zipping around the resort, but there are a few areas where several steps are mandatory. Don't let the steps scare you off, there are thousands and thousands of people that come here every year that do just fine. Food - we found that the buffet is far superior to the a la carte restaurants, which is not unusual in our experience at all inclusive resorts. [... read more] At this resort though, the a la carte restaurants cater to the authentic Mexican cuisine, so if that is not to your taste, then you will be better off sticking to the buffet restaurant. No need for the 5AM chair dance, lots of chairs both at the pool and the beach. This property has the best beach in the area, we spoke to many people that had been to Dreams and Secrets and said their beaches are almost unusable, but we were on the beach our entire stay. AMAZING SNORKELING right off the beach, which is why we booked here in the first place. Overall a great place for the price, but for us the evenings are just way to hot in Huatulco - it just doesn't cool off like the many other places we have been.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Vacation in Paradise

After months of waiting we (group of 6) finally took a belated birthday trip to this resort and what an awesome experience! We arrived right at check-in time and the front desk had us processed in under 10 minutes. Our room was 5722, Junior suite oceanview and did not disappoint. Super clean, huge comfortable bed (the biggest we've ever seen) and a view to die for were just what we needed. Mini fridge restocked daily, towels replaced and room left spotless every time. A la cartes Went to all four and was not disappointed. Portion sizes were good and choices were plentiful Buffet Almost too many choices! Always a great selection and food was hot and replenished frequently Bars Great drink selection and bartenders were always friendly and service was fast. Club (Jaguars)/Strikers Bar A real night club at a resort and a rec/play area for all ages. Fun!! Cons None for this resort at all. We've been to quite a few all-inclusives and this was by far one of the best. A definite must return for us Just a heads up that the other resorts at this complex are a complete nightmare at the buffets. Kids misbehaving while their parents ignore them. Hands in the food, food on the floors and even a kid riding a scooter at dinner. Returning to the AO was a definite highlight after a visit to the Palace buffet. If you've seen the one negative YouTube review of this resort I can assure you that the person who posted it has either never really stayed here or is angry that he wasn't comped for his stay. Everything, and I do mean everything he said was a complete lie. Do yourself a favour and book this resort.

Riu Palace Baja California: Beautiful Resort

Rooms were very modern, contemporary and clean. The cleaning staff were awesome, in fact all staff were 'on it' ... in the restaurants, at the front desk, bars, drink carts/bartenders at the pools, etc. A very well kept resort. The food was excellent and if you went to dinner from 5:30 to 7:00 you were not in line since reservations are not needed. The buffet was also a great option. The only thing  [... read more]I didn't like was that you could not go into the ocean (red flags always) which is the 'norm' for this location with the waters being too rough (but I was told that before going). The view is stunning of the 'arch' mountain range but you do need to actually take a water taxi (or tour boat) to see the actual 'hole'. We didn't do any excursions because they were very expensive. The package price is also very expensive but I could see why with the 'high end' area and all the work the staff does. All in all, a great trip and would highly recommend.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Amazing resort

The hotel is very good and clean Good service The restaurant is very good and have good menus Transfer from airport isn't perfect, no clear information haw to reach service and bus. Activities at pool and hotel are good.staff is very friendly

Riu Latino: Decent resort

Very clean. Friendly staff. Food options are limited but there is something for everyone. We had a hard time getting bottles of water, had to call down several times to get some...There is a lack of bathrooms and ways to get drinks. And basically zero food after 10pm. Had a great time, but would probably goto a different place next time or different RIU.

Sandos Cancun: Great vacation!

The suite was very spacious, staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was very good for the most part. We found the cabana loungers a little rickety and worn, but still enjoyed sitting around the pool. The resort was very clean and well kept.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Best Beach Location

This is our 4th time to this resort and it is still the best and longest beach location. Accomodations were great and. grounds always well maintained.Lots of pools to choose from. This was the first time we were disappointed with the food....you won't go hungry but the quality of food was not as good as I remember but they say that covid has changed a lot with these hotels. Did a couple of ala cartes and they were excellent, wish we had booked more.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: A very nice place

We enjoyed 10 days in this resort. We have been here 4 times. The ambiance is nice and family oriented. The service was first class. Specially in the a la cart restaurants. They have professional waiters. The grounds are very clean and the gardens well tended. Our room was cleaned daily and left us fresh towels always. We participated in several activities, we played horse shoes the young man named Gerardo was very enthusiastic and very nice. We were very grateful to Andres the Captain for his personalized service during our dinner. We love this place is good value for your money. We recommend it and we hope to return.

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Great family hotel with a spot for only adults too

The hotel on the whole was fantastic food pools beach. Somethings that were lacking were keeping up with the amount of people who were staying they could have put more effort into cleaning around the beach with garbage left but vacationers. It attracted the birds to the leftover food. The saved loungers kind of got out of hand that also could be managed abit better. The bookings for the restaurants was absolutely ridiculous. But on the whole it was a beautiful resort our room was nice and comfy

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Spectacular resort

Very service oriented. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms, grounds, pools all very pleasing. The food and restaurant selections were fantastic! Check in/out was straight forward. Lots of areas to grab a cocktail.
