Riu Palace Macao: Riu Palace Macao

Perfect vacation spot for the older crowd seeking a quiet adult only space. The room was a bit musty at first, but that's to be expected in this climate. Keep the AC running and it's gone in no time. Excellent service, excellent food, fantastic staff. Can't wait for next year to go back. Our only issue was at the Airport and the monstrous out-of-control children on the plane - both of which are out of Sunwing's control.

Riu Guanacaste: Lovely resort great locale

The hotel is well kept and clean. Staff are lovely and very responsive. It is located in a remote area which meant lots of local wildlife including monkeys, ant-eater and many birds. We recommend doing a snorkeling excursion via the hotel water program- it is nearby and you'll see lots of different aquatic creatures (Staff were great with younger kids and nervous swimmers so good for all ages and experience levels). If you need quiet for early sleeping, you may want to request an outside  [... read more]room (not in the inner circle) as the nightly entertainment was loud and seemed to echo into the rooms (We were on the fifth floor). You also need water shoes or flip flops for the beach as the sand gets very hot. This was our second time to the hotel and it did not disappoint.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: my husband and i were at the riu bachata amazing resourt

,the grounds were well manicured, the staff were very friendly,,the food was ok lots to choose from but could have better choices the same every day,the rooms were very clean,my husband is a double amputee upon arrival we didn't have our disabelled room it took two days to get it.

Riu Flamingos: Riu Jalisco was great!

We had a great time! Great food! Great entertainment!! We flew sunwing! Delayed 2 hours getting there and delayed an hour coming home!! Wasn’t crazy about sunwing! Bartenders were great! Bed was comfy

Riu Playa Blanca: Phenomenal Trip

The resort was beautiful, very clean and quite colourful and modern. All the staff at the resort were very friendly and made sure our getaway was perfect! The food was pretty good and there was quite a bit of activities going on at the resort all day. It was a perfect vacation and much thanks our travel agaent, Karishma for making this trip an unforgettable one!

Riu Palace Jamaica: Best Week EVER!`

Just came back from our fantastic trip to Jamaica! We stayed at the RIU Palace adult only resort and it was the best decision ever! This was a girls trip ( just the two of us ) looking for a week of relaxation and sun. We got a whole lot more! The hotel was amazing - super clean. Actually the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. All the staff were super friendly and courteous and greeted us every morning with a smile! Those 2 guys go above and beyond and deserve alot of credit! We miss their smiling faces and our morning seranades! LOL But the highlight of our trip was the AMAZING entertainment staff! Not only are they the elite at what they do, they are all the most kind hearted, sweet and kindest people I have ever met. I want to give a HUGE shout out to: Jo-Jo Dr Fun-Fun ( aka Shaggy LOL - get him to do a Shaggy song.. It's amazing not to mention is awesome laugh ) DJ Snake Kash CC Talawuh These people are the glue of that resort and can your week much more fun. Give them a chance to get to know you - they are amazing people with amazing stories. They love when you participate in the activities! The great place about RIU Palace is that if you want quiet there is another pool that is very low key for those who want to just chill and enjoy the fabulous cocktails. All in all I can't say enough about this place - It was just what the "dr" ordered for a girls getaway... It's a smaller resort which I liked - it made it more intimate and you got to know everyone and made lots of friends The only CON I guess for me was there wasn't much shopping.. I like resorts that have a few stores to shop around in the evening.. If you want to call that a CON One last thing - if you like long walks on the beach - this isn't the resort for that.. The beach is very small but super clean. FYI - their sister properties on either side of the RIU the Reggae and Montego Bay ( the beaches are small as well and not really well kept ) I give this place 5 out 5 stars! :)

Riu Merengue: Perfect Vacation

Pros: Food and drink are amazing. Beautiful beach. Live music at night! Awsome houskeeping. Access to riu bachata. Lots of pools. Paddle boarding and kayaking available!! Cons: Hard to get coffee in the morning at the main buffet. Wifi only worked for 3 out of 7 days.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Great resort

Well kept resort in a very scenic area. Staff very helpful and friendly very friendly people at the resort most are repeat customers. We were pleasantly surprised with this resort. Food at buffet better than alot of places. Alacarte’s were just ok

Riu Ocho Rios: amazimg resort

I cant say anything bad about this resort. This was the first resort that I saw workers on the resort really work , clean, paint, do up keep on the grounds. the staff was friendly and felt safe of the resort. Everything was great.

Riu Republica: Amazing Experience

This hotel is amazing. The staff is unbelievable. They are so kind and do everything to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. 100% recommend this resort!! We have already booked for June. There is something for everyone. The food was very good and the rooms were so modern

Riu Palace Antillas: Amazing resort

Ok thank you Julie I had the most amazing time in Aruba first time there food was amazing staff was awesome room was great but we needed two double beds instead of a king size. But we managed but I'll we go back it was fantastic again thank you.

Riu Negril: Amazing two week stay

We have just arrived home from a two week stay and we were thrilled with this resort. We knew as soon as we entered the property that this was going to be a great place. We were in a bit of a line for check in but were moved through very quickly. We were in building four which is the farthest from the lobby. We were a bit worried about this at first but in the end this was perfect for us. It was very quiet at that end of the resort and the beach as well. We often felt like we had our own private [... read more] beach. I was a bit disappointed that there is no bathtub and only a stand up shower but it was a minor issue. The food was great. The only issue we had was anytime we didn’t arrive within the first hour of the buffet. Somethings would not be very fresh after the rush was over and we would have trouble finding warm food but usually was not trouble to get there while things were being filled frequently. Entertainment was great. Staff was amazing. Spa was incredible. We will certainly be back to this resort!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great until food poisoning

My husband and I stayed at the Riu paradise Island in Bahamas last week - booked through Sunwing. The resort was lovely and we had fantastic service and no issues until our return home. We left the resort at 6:30 last night to go to the airport for our flight home at 10:45 pm I started feeling ill on the bus ride to the airport and vomited at the airport once every 1/2 hour for the next 4 hours. Our flight was delayed an hour. My husband talked with other passengers and found out that there wer [... read more]e at least 5 or 6 others on the plane that came from Riu who were also sick. When we landed in Toronto airport an hour late we quickly went through customs and then had to wait an 1 1/2 for our luggage. I am not normally one to complain but will not be returning

Riu Palace Antillas: Our time at Riu Palace Antillas was very enjoyable.

The food was great and always something different. We found it very windy therefore the beach was uncomfortable with the sand blowing all the time. The pool was always full and found you have to be there very early in the morning to reserve a spot by laying your towel on the lounge. The staff was very attentive and always there to help with anything.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Very happy with are choice.

Great fun, easy to meet folks.Great new memories ! Value Excellente ...3 times in a year, love it..New friend planning on doing it again next year because of great times..For sure beach is rocky, bring water shoes and no complaints..No snow and warm !

Riu Republica: Great resort

This hotel is quite large however they do a great job of keeping it clean. You always see staff mopping floors picking up empty glasses in lounge areas and around pools. Rooms are very nice, only one complaint about replenishment of coffee and face cloths - ran out of both in our room. Food was good at both buffet and a la carte restaurants. Found the staff to be friendly and very little problem with language barrier.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING

The resort was above and beyond expectations. The grounds were kept very well by the hard working staff. The rooms were kept clean and up to standards by the cleaning staff. The restocking could use some help as we had to request things to be brought down for us. The food was amazing and the wait staff went above and beyond for our needs. In particular, Natherene and Crifton were ever so obiliging and Crifton went out of his way to make our last evening special with table decorations. [... read more] We will certainly return for another two weeks in the future. We don't have a bad comment about this visit.

Riu Montego Bay: Outstanding experience and amazing resort

The grounds were beautiful and laid out nicely. Staff was all extremely friendly. Food was excellent, especially the jerk chicken hut on the beach that served every day. Many activities during the day and night made the experience never have a dull moment.

Riu Republica: Riu Republica

Hotel was very clean and service from staff was excellent. Extremely large resort but with lots of entertainment. Beach was sometimes difficult to use because of rough waters. Pools were well kept and very clean. Only one shop for such a large resort, but seemed adequate for any purchases required.

Riu Reggae: Nice resort

The hotel was well managed. The food was excellent with lots of variety at buffet and the restaurants. Staff were friendly and entertainment was very good. They had activities during day as well. Room was nice and clean, comfortable bed..ask for more pillows. Lots of pool loungers and you could walk the beach to the other two resorts. Took one side trip to Dunn falls and lift up mountain.
