Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Paradise!

Amazing resort! I have no negative feedback. We had great weather, we had the best vacation ever! Grounds were immaculate. Rooms were spacious and everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Food was amazing! My 11 year old loved the buffet, Bitez and poolside food - he liked that eating didn't cut into his pool time! When not doing an excursion off the resort, we were at the pool having drinks, participating in trivia or dance classes. Evening entertainment was super as well.  [... read more]As wonderful as the resort is, the best thing about the Hyatt Ziva is the staff. Everyone from housekeeping, room service that delivered my morning coffee (and a fist bump!), the chef that made my morning omelettes, and the bartenders that gave me a different drink every time I said, "Surprise me!" They are amazing and our trip wouldn't have been the same without them! Special shout out to the entertainment crew who had us laughing all week - Antoneil, Omar, Rick, Crystal...so great! Can't wait to return :)

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Amazing resort

This resort is very well maintained. Every area is very clean, rooms public washrooms, pools, dining area, beach. The food is delicious a wide variety. We ate at the buffet for every meal. We enjoyed the activities on the pool deck. All the staff from check in to check out were extremely friendly and helpful. We have no complaints about this resort and hope to return.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fun in the sun

Beautiful resort, we had a wonderful trip. The resort is older so you expect some things that need fixing, example we had a crack in our sink. Did that bother us no....petty things like that are not worth complaining about. The only complaints we have is that the beach is not a nice walking beach and the grounds are not big for walking and seeing different things. Food was great, always something to eat for everyone’s different desires. The village is awesome, great for shopping if you want. Pool is beautiful, they were always entertaining you with something if you wanted to take part. Overall it’s a beautiful resort.

Mangos Boutique Beach Resort: Resort in bad repair.

Grounds were lush and a lot overgrown but staff were spending time taking care of that. The room was beautiful but the bathroom was in great need of repair. The paint was peeling from the bathtub that they had painted. The pool needed to be cleaned more frequently and more chemicals needed to be added to get rid of the cloudiness of the pool. The garbage including beer cans and glasses needed to be picked up regularly as it was usually left for a few days. The wind brought the waves in so the water was always up and there wasn't much beach to walk on. The food at dinner was always the same and no meat at breakfast. Lunch was always good. They ran out of beer, white wine and all liquors and even water each day. The room was only stocked with water and beer, maybe 3 times in 2 weeks. We had to ask the wait staff for water everyday. Then they had to run around and find it. Management listened to a lot of complaints but not a lot were acted on. The staff were the friendliest staff we've ever met. They did their best to try and make people happy. It definitely was not a 3.5; more like a 2 star.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Best resort ever!

The hotel was massive! So much to see and do on the property one week was not enough time to see and do it all! The two resorts in one truly feels like one very large resort! The beaches were clean and it’s the first time I’ve been south and not come home with sand flea bites! A true testament to the well kept beaches! I had a very decent nights sleep without back ache!! The food was spectacularly prepared and all restaurants and buffet’s were fully stocked and fresh! Staff were friendly and helpful each and everyday! It was our first time at this resort and we were all very impressed! We would return there! The grand pool is indeed grand it was never crowded because the size of the pool is massive and holds many! The infinity bar entertainment in the evenings was the best! The live singers were professional and their genre was diverse! Sunset cove was a gem. We found it day 4 and enjoyed it for two days!! My daughter got married there and the team of planners and set up staff were awesome! Our whole experience was pleasant and memorable! We all had a relaxing vacation after the wedding was over. Wonderful to have a vacation along with the wedding! The shuttles were prompt and available to take us everywhere we wanted in the property when walking wasn’t an option! There were NO vendor selling wares on the beaches!!! This was a surprise! A pleasant one because when I go to the beach I want to relax not be pestered to shop.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Beautiful resort!

Beautiful resort in large sheltered bay. Great swimming as water is calm and clear. excellent walking beach; vendors at far end. Hotel is beautiful, per Riu standards. Bathroom tub needed new caulking and one bathroom sink cracked. No hot food 24/7 (only fruit and popcorn). For these reasons can only give this resort 4.5 stars out of 5. Food is superior (hats off to the chefs!) and staff are helpful and courteous. Beach is lovely with shade available. Would definitely return.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Very nice property - solid 4****

My husband and I had the pleasure of going to this resort Feb 1-11 and we are so glad we did. Here are some pros and cons (the cons are few!) Pros: 1) The food is excellent! From the breakfast buffets to the beach grill, one will never go hungry. There is always something fresh on the menu. The a la cart was so good too! We recommend the beef tenderloin and the salmon. 2) The rooms are big, airy and so clean. The bed is comfy too. The fridge is stocked daily with pop, water and Red [... read more] Stripe beer. 3) The grounds and pool are spotless! 4) There are always more than enough sunbeds to go around. Loads of shade due to the construction of the hotel. Half the pool is in the shade all day long so you'll never get sunburned (unless you want to lol) 5) The bar staff in both bars and the drinks are top drawer. They really try hard to be creative with their mixed drinks, their shots and the bartenders antics. They are such a fun bunch and will try hard to make you smile 6) The support staff - from the front desk all the way to tour agents, everyone has one goal to make you relax and enjoy your holiday. Cons 1) The sunbeds at the beach have seen better days. They really need replacing. 2) There really needs to be handrails on the steps around the pool, the bar and leading to the beach. I realize there are ramps but they still need banisters on the steps. And there really needs to be a complete handrail in the pool instead of the half rail that's there now. 3) The beach sand is beautiful and loads of shade, palapas and beach tents so lying on the beach is a pleasure. However, be aware that there is a steep hill of sand to get to the water and when you do, there's a further drop into the water. It's not a place for kids. I'm 5' 6" and by the time I got on solid ground in the water, it was up to my shoulders. This is not the hotel's fault - mother nature is what she is! :-) I would not hesitate to go again and I would also recommend it to my friends. Britney at the front desk is wonderful. She helped allay my fears of the state of emergency in MoBay leading up to the trip. She was right! I felt just as safe and welcome as I always do in MoBay. So if you're going to book this place run, don't walk!!

Sandals Dunn's River: Great vacation

The resort is small and very compact. Everything is a short walk away. All the staff were very helpful and eager to please. If you like taking long walks on the beach then this resort is not for you. It is perfect for lounging and enjoying the turquoise waters.

Couples Tower Isle: Fantastic Resort

The resort is awesome as soon as you arrive. Staff are excellent. They remodeled the resort with new furniture and a nice face lift. The food is fantastic especially Eight Rivers. Everything is truly included from scuba diving to golf . I have been there 4 times and will not hesitate to go back next year .

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: It was the best vacation I have had in a long time I did not want to come home

everybody at the Hotel were amazing so friendly treated me great not one issue did I have with anybody at this Hotel best every and I will go twice back this year for sure loved it the food was amazing the people were also amazing as was all of the staff they new I traveled alone so were great with me could not do enough for me

Riu Reggae: Excellent staff.....

Being a fairly new resort the rooms, grounds and facilities were clean and well maintained. Cleaning staff did a very good job. The food was equal to that which can be found at most good resorts with a good variety of choices - jerk chicken hut was my go-to.....delicious!! Kudos to Kevin! Entertainment staff were excellent - lots of fun and hilarity. Beach was clean and although rather small it never felt crowded. No hint of any issues outside the resort which was a concern considering we booked [... read more] prior to the state of emergency being declared. All in all a very good experience. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Did not meet my all my expectation as per Tv advertisement .

Architecturally; Grandiose ,Landscaping; Spectacular , Location; Superb Beach: Needs improvement to foar from the hotel tomany black spots and stoney areas not a good swim. Lobby area; Bathrooms too far from general entrance areas and insufficient signage especially for newly arriving guest who need to use the facility quickly upon arrival. Night entertainment needs improvement, a dress code for performers / presenters is badly needed. These show personal dress code is not wha [... read more]t I expected to see at a five star hotel. Dirty running shoes , the entertainment representative are properly attired so should be the performers . The welcoming four piece band/ group would be a better choice at night , I finish dinner at 9:30 entertainment was over at 10 one night it was over at 9Pm. Retractable Awning for for areas subjected to rain (ie) steps leading to public areas and hand bars for stairs leading to dining areas. This could be treacherous for the elderly and very dangerous when wet. Hospitality representative need more training include supervisors, they need to be more vigilant of and understand the need for being so. For me to recommend this hotel I need to pay a second visit. I was able to state my concern to a public relations officer and was very please with the response received from the public relation manager. I was invited to a private meeting , he was very professional and promised that he will would bringing my concerns to the next staff meeting. The hospitality / severs discriminates by assumption that a black person is not going to leave a tip or if they do it's not going worth the effort therefore we are ignored. I was told this when I made my booking , but I prefered to get find out if this was true and it sure was. I will return some time to again access it.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Love the Holiday Inn

This is a great resort for a 3-3.5 star property. People are great. Food is excellent. Rooms are nice. Beaches are great. Accessible resort. Rewards for returning customers or rewards program. Live music most nights. Superbowl Party a lot of fun.

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing!!

We had a wonderful time at the Riu! The hotel was very well maintained and always spotless. The food was great and always a great variety. The beach was very nice and the water was a beautiful shade of torquise. Staff was amazing, always helpful and personable. Definitely will return to this lovely resort.

Riu Ocho Rios: beautiful resort

The beach, and the pools were beautiful! The food was delicious! My main complaint is the musty smell in the rooms, and our shower water was either ice cold or scalding hot....no in between. It took three phone calls to have issue fixed. Over all such a pretty resort, very relaxing with a great variety of food!

Royalton Blue Waters: Great Family Destination

Our family of four spent a week at the Royalton Blue Waters at the end of January, 2018. This was our second trip to Jamaica and our favorite so far! The staff were wonderful and took time to make us feel welcome always ensuring that we had everything we needed. The resort is stunning and the landscaping is beautiful. We really enjoyed the beautiful white sand beach, the pools, lazy river and water slides were great for our kids (ages 7 and 10). The rooms are spacious, clean and modern with a balcony facing an amazing ocean view. There were a few issues with hot water a couple days however it did not hamper our vacation - we survived as everything else was perfect!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: First time won't be the last!!!

This was our first trip to Jamaica for my husband and myself. We picked the Luxury Bahia Runaway Bay after researching many resorts. This is a newer resort and is absolutely fantastic and beautiful. We chose a sea view with pool view on the 4th floor thanks to TripCentral as well. The resort is all inclusive and Adults Only which was great. The rooms, service, food and employees at the resort are all awesome. Very clean in all aspects of the resort and if we needed anything we called the front d [... read more]esk and were promptly attended to. The staff are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was kept clean on a daily basis and the mini bar stocked up continuously. We encountered no problems during our flight or stay which was 8 days and have not stopped talking about next years trip...yes back to Luxury Bahia..

Melia Braco Village: Great Resort

The resort size I thought was perfect (smaller than most), very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, food was very good. The Adventure Park is a nice addition, especially for younger people but every age were taking part. Enjoyed the bicycle tour. Beach wasn't amazing -- quite a lot of coral washes in that's a little hard on the feet at times. I would recommend water shoes.

Resort was out dated, rooms need mush help. Staff not very friendly. golfing was terrible staff at the pro shop very rude Over all Food was good. Room staff were good. Beach was very small but cleaned every morning.
