Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing resort

Amazing atmosphere clean amazing food friendly people friendly staff very clean room 24/7 security very fast service very nice customer service delicious and fresh food nice restaurant variety perfect for families

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Over all nice property but a few things could be improved.

-The beach is very rocky and dangerous, the surf is very high and the undertow can be strong, there is a quieter beach area but it is off the property. The main pool was crowded ans noisy but the El Beso pools were nice. The lazy river is small and there are only a few floaties available. If you didn't have a butler you have to stand in line at 7:30 every morning to get your a la carte resto reservations. We ate most of the time at the PezDama and Privelge restos since they were on the beach [... read more] and the staff were so nice. -The buildings and grounds are well maintained and clean. - The staff are super nice but alot of them seemed to be new and were not able to provide information when needed. -The rooms are spacious with lovely balconies with swinging baskets. -The activities are nice, people seemed to be enjoying the dance classes, games etc. -The shows were hit and miss, best were the Magic Show and the Fire Show. -Every night there is live music and dancing at the central plaza, it is fun and family friendly. -Its worth it to have the privelege package, having a butler really facilitates things if you have problems(our safe malfunctioned), saves time with restaurant reservations and generally get info for you since a lot of the staff were either new or didnt speak much English.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: We will Definitely go back

Great place with beautiful facilities and we had a ton of fun. Food was excellent with lots of great restaurants to choose from and the main buffet was very good. All the staff was so friendly and happy made you feel really welcomed. In particular the entertainment crew under the direction of Walter were really fun and put on great shows and things like AquaFit, dancing lessons and more. Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Would go back!

We stayed dec 17th to the 23rd. The staff are excellent and all needs were addressed. Travelling with two adult sons and one adult daughter we had a great family vacation. Alberto our “butler” was very helpful and not intrusive. Helped sort out a game of golf for us nothing left for us to do but show up. Ezekiel and Leonardo we’re very good Bar keeps We split our time between the general swim up bar most lively and the entertaining staff were fantastic. Kept people engaged. We has the [... read more] colonial club adults side which had a better beach and i think the drinks were easier to get quickly but i wouldnt worry about it as the special cocktails were flowing and the pace was perfect. Nice beach. Didnt have to rush down at 6 am for chairs or beds. Lotsa room for everyone Would go back Food great. Recommend getting to the buffet early rather than later for more selection. Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Incredible Experience!

We visited this resort for 8 days with our kids and the experience was nothing short of incredible! Everyone, and I do mean everyone were beyond accommodating. It was my kids very first trip to the Dominican and they are officially in love with everything. The evening entertainment was breath taking and the resort itself was clean and well kept. Definitely a place we will be returning! Thank you so much to all of the staff for such a memorable experience!

Impressive Premium Punta Cana: Great hotel, but the staff could be better

The buildings and beach were beautiful! But I found the staff to be lacking! Been to Bavaro Princess 2 times and the service there was great. I felt the service at impressive to be not so impressive. Some staff were great but most waiters and reservation takers could care less.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Perfection at its finest

We 2 couples stayed at the Hard Rock Punta Cana from December 14-21. Shuttle service from the airport was the best we’ve had. We were quickly taken to the resort. Check in was also quick. We were in different buildings when we got there but were quickly moved to the same one so we could be close to each other. I had asked for renovated rooms which we did not get but we had amazing clean rooms none the less. We weren’t in it much so it didn’t bother me. The beach did have quite a bit of sea [... read more]weed but again didn’t bother us. We quickly found the adults only Eden pool which we stayed at for the week. It was clean and the staff were friendly and very quick bringing us drinks. They made our week. We are at Toro(steak house) twice. Excellent food and service and would highly recommend. Impanema and Italian were the other choices for the week as well as the buffet. All were excellent and service was impeccable. We never waited but we ate around 6 pm always. Moon lounge, ice cream shop and cafe were also places we frequented daily and again always friendly staff and quick. Shuttle service was frequent and got us where we wanted to go on time. Entertainment staff were high energy. We did the water aerobics daily. Shoutout to Sexy Evelyn, Alexandre for getting us moving. They work extremely hard. The only complaint I have is the push to become members. This was annoying and if I didn’t know better could have easily ruined our week but they still bugged us daily anywhere we went and upon check in and check out. Will definitely return soon

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Good variety

The water park section was a great way to split up the day. The one side of the pool is quieter which is nice. The other side of the pool is busy with lots of action to keep kids entertained. Food is decent.

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Beautiful and Modern Resort

The resort was absolutely beautiful and very modern and clean with plenty of seating and things to do. Staff were very good and the food was amazing. Lots of food options for all ages as well as swimming areas for all ages (adults or families). We loved how this resort was so big so it was never an issue with over crowding or trying to find a spot to sit by the pool or beach! There weren’t any mask mandates with Covid and everything was open and running. Overall we can say we highly recommend this resort to you or any of your clients interested in traveling to Punta Cana!

Club Med Punta Cana: Something for everyone!

Lovely resort with amazing food! If you want to do activities all day long there is lots to do - tennis, circus school, yoga, gym etc.. If you want to be quiet on the beach there is lots of space for that.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: good resort!

The main issues that i had with the resort was arriving there, without being informed that it was being closed until further notice on December 20th. The last few days showed a noticeable change in available food at the buffet. We also experienced one disgruntled employee at one of the a la carte restaurants, but this was quickly handled by the management. The vacancy rate at the hotel was high, no doubt due to fact is was closing soon, but this resulted in fantastic service from the staff.  [... read more] Would not recommend the ocean area as it was always red flagged. The pool was great, but we are beach and ocean people.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Beautifully resort!

This resort is very large but with the trolley passing every five minutes it made going from one area to another much quicker. The pools are clean and there are enough chairs for everyone. Buffet has many options to choose from. Only thing I can say is the buffet close to the beach is not kept clean in the eating areas. Food left on the ground and tables not cleaned after the people's dishes are removed.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Customer service

Rooms are not actually clean, I noticed a stain on the bed sheets had my room cleaned the next day all the cleaner did was make the bed and did not change the sheets. Was given a towel with feces stain on it and shower dirty.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Pretty good, very big

Ocean el Faro el beso (adults only area) was very nice and very large, with multiple pool, lounge and bar areas. The day time entertainment was fun, but because there were so many areas, it sometimes felt like we were missing out on other areas of the resort. The Sports bar could use some snacks, the carts could be more frequent. The food was what we expected and the bar staff was a bit slow but very kind. The lazy river was a super fun addition to the resort!

Occidental Punta Cana: Ok resort

The grounds were well kept. The resort is nice. The staff not friendly and not much English. Saying that there was 2 bartenders at the main lobby that were great. And the poolbar was good.The food was terrible. Buffet was cold, oriental al a carter was nasty. Food tasted terrible. The steak house was good . Service was great until we finished eating the steak and sat for 25 -35 minutes waiting for the dishes to be cleared. Then the table collapsed on 2 of us. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beach is gone!!!

Staying: Dec 2 - Dec 16, 2022, Villa 04 Hotel is dated (it was built around 2001-2004) and while everything was working in mine room it was "on borderline" - toilet flash was requiring "special" handling ,otherwise it could stuck and water will flow for ever. Shower was on the brink to be broken. Light in bathroom ( 2 of them) broken during mine stay but surprisingly they were fixed in 20 min (normal 20 min ,not "Dominican" (if you know what I'm talking about :) ) . Also air conditioner  [... read more]broke - not stopped completely but start losing/dropping water to extend that it practically flooded my room so I had to spend 20 min removing it from the floor with towels (it was 2 am so I didn't called service ). I turned it off and called service first things in the morning and when I returned from the beach around 4 pm it was back in full working mode. Minifridge "refreshing" not happening unless you completely emptied it so if you want beer or soft drink for spare remove it from fridge. Worst part was beach - not hotel problem - some natural disaster happens during first week of Dec 2022 and ocean "claimed/eat" literally half of the beach (first row of palm umbrellas were flooded and gone, volleyball playground completely gone ). It is third week of December and still there are no good beach. Remaining beach area is overcrowded /overfilled with lounges - merely not enough space to accommodate number of people staying at this hotel. I'm a beach person so for me it was disaster - pools are OK but VERY busy - TOO many people. Bars: 3 stars , while service is OK (but also not very good) - drinks are not - there are no premium drinks and even if you want cocktails based on tomato juice - at the best you can get them first hour from opening - after that - most likely tomato juice or clamato are gone. But what is worse - at all bars and even almost every restaurant /buffets - you cannot get simple club soda - most of personal doesn't speak English and doesn't know what is "club soda" is so remember Spanish term they will understand "agua con gas" (not even "agua carbonatada") - but still most places say - no - we don't have it. As well you cannot get it in minifridge Food: nothing "amazing" but you will not die from hunger for sure - and best part you can get it almost 24 hours (there are nigh snack bar at the beach - but no alcohol drinks) Good part about resort: they have pretty good night disco club but it opens at 11:30pm so you need kill some time before you can get here. Design of the disco /music and even service at the bar is amazing. While close to 2am you will start notice smell from toilets iside disco due to luck of cleaning - but you have to realize that place is packed from the moment it opens to last minute - so be prepare for some "side effects" Shows at resort looks a little bit amature (while girls' are beautiful and boys are strong) but still enjoyable. There are another "live" music show at the central plaza (common place where is disco and casino is) - and Surprisingly there are very good especially "rock band" which plays (some nights) with their interpretations/remix of latest (and not) hits - so I recommend and good part here as well - waitress service - so you don't need to get up and get drinks by yourself - keep tipping and you will have non stop coming of your favorite drinks (after second tip they were bringing me mine drink without me even asking - but still don't forget to tip) So overall - stay was good. Will I return? Most likely - no

Riu Republica: Amazing party resort

Love the resort, if you are looking for a party, there is one to be found every night. Friendly happy people everywhere we went, made lots of new friends, frienfly staff, grounds and rooms were clean, food was not the best, but found something to my likes everyday. Pool party's were amazing !! You must try the jerk chicken on the beach :) I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone who's looking to have fun at a resonable price.

Riu Republica: Dirty, run down,

The grounds are beautiful and well kept with the exception of the beach. There is so much seaweed on the beach it seems like they’ve given up on maintaining it as there was literally more seaweed than sand. Water was extremely rough everyday and absolutely not safe to go into and I’m a good swimmer. Red flags everyday - disappointing. Staff and food were hit or miss. Good thing about the size of the resort is many food options although the quality is mediocre with the exception of the  [... read more]jerk chicken near the beach which was fantastic. Rooms are VERY basic. We literally were given a bed sheet (1) and 2 very flat pillows. We had to request blankets and pillows but took a few days to get everything. 1 plug in the room and a usb charger. Our usb was broken and didn’t get fixed although we sent in 2 maintenance requests. Party pool is disgustingly dirty. Pool water is below the skimmer level so it gets nasty. Drinks were fantastic and bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly.

Occidental Punta Cana: not a 5 star

The Occidental is a very nice resort. The grounds were very well kept and the rooms were very clean and nice. That is about the only good thing about this resort. The service was not great and the food was mediocre at best. The beach only has a few palm trees for shade but it was very nice. The service at the beach bar was very slow as well. The service at the pool bar was very good tho and a few gentlemen at the lobby bar were great as well but thats about it. I will not go back to this  [... read more]resort. Also the website says 20km from the airport but took us an hour to get to the resort.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Great time!

Absolutely loved this Resort. Can't say enough about the amazing staff. They would do anything for you. From your butler, the wait staff, the maintenance staff, the bartenders. Everyone was wonderful! The food exceeded our expectations. Best filet mignon I've had in ages. The Resort is on the small side, which we loved. It was very quiet and relaxing. So if you're looking for a party, this Resort is not for you. We were aware that the resort was hit hard by Hurricane Fiona, but that did not affe [... read more]ct our wonderful stay. They are working very hard to fix all the damage by the hurricane . There are things that need a little TLC, but nothing we can't look past. The beach is pretty much non-existent, but we knew that before. So that was fine as we are more pool people. If anyone has anything negative to say about this Resort, then all I can say is they are extremely picky and high maintenance.
