JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Third time’s a charm

Third time to this resort. Food was excellent, rooms real nice, and the animation team fantastic. I think the bathrooms are in need of being updated, but not too bad.....another year or so. The staff work really hard and seem to enjoy what they are doing. We saw quite a few staff from our previous visits and they have not sciped a beat. The beach is nice, but not very long if you are a beach walker. Played golf at both WhiteWhitch and Cinamon Hill. Bermuda grass killed me, but winter gol [... read more]f is better than no golf. The resort is about 20 minutes from the airport which is handy and the golf courses are both in between the hotel and the airport....so very convenient. Go and enjoy yourself.....like we did.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: A nice place to visit

I liked it. It was small enough you would never loose anyone, yet large enough to enjoy yourself. Pools were good , the beach was rocky in places but still good. I would stay again. It is very close to Dunns River Falls, the best place to visit.

Sunscape Splash: Awesome awesome and more awesome

Sunscape Splash Montego Bay - awesome, amazing, clean, safe. The staff were so cheerful and helpful and friendly. The grounds were clean, easy to navigate. Tons of fun and lots of places to relax too! Love love loved it!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Excellent Place

We actually stayed at Royalton Negril- we never stayed at White Sands. From the moment we arrived we felt special. We upgraded to the Diamond Club. We got to our hotel around 1030pm at night. We were shown to our room and on the TV was a picture of the hotel and our name welcoming us. The room was beautiful and there was a plate of fruit from our butler who we would be meeting the next day. Our other butler was Dorett, Thanks Dorett for filling up our tub with bubbles and flower petals. Keno made our reservations for us for the restaurants for the week. The Diamond bar / restaurant by the beach has great food, we ate lunch there everyday. The main restaurant/buffet we usually had breakfast there but if you are a light eater, they have at the Diamond lobby, fruit, yogurt, muffins coffee etc.Don't think we had one bad meal. We really enjoyed the Diamond Club BBQ and got to meet some other people. The property is very nice and the beach is great, real close, not far to walk to. We also got to walk the beach and see other hotels on the strip. We also enjoyed the hot showers. The resort has a large gift shop near the buffet restaurant and a duty free shop as well. If you decide to go, take the upgrade and ask for Keno, he will look after you.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Wondrful Vacation

This resort is fabulous, from the moment you step off the bus the service is excellent. A fun atmosphere where you can do as much or as little as you like. The evening entertainment is made quiet or moved away from the resort to the beach area so those who wish to enjoy a quiet evening or sleep can do so by 11:00. The other beaches are available to the guests as well as the pools so there is never a reason to miss out . We will be returning for our third time in 2019.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Went To Heaven For A Week

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall was the best all inclusive resort we ever have stayed at.All the food was scrumptious,staff at resort was so friendly,our butler oniel was exceptional and the gym at the resort and classes completly exceeded our expectations.We can't wait to go back soon. Brad & Rita

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Anniversary Vacation

The rooms were clean, nothing fantastic about the room. The housekeeping staff was fantastic. Fridge was kept filled everyday. The room was very musty and damp. The sheets felt damp when you got into bed. We were supposedly upgraded from our ocean view, didn't seem like an upgrade at all, that was a big disappointment as we were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The water at the bea [... read more]ch was very murky, there was only one day that we even attempted to go in. Thank goodness for a lovely pool. Bar staff was good, all kinds of great drinks. One evening in the Lobby bar there was some music with a singer. The rest of the time there was nothing, would have been nice to at least have some background music, after all we were in Jamaica for the experience. The entertainers work their buns off and do a fantastic job! The Japanese restaurant was great, I found the steak house a disappointment. We didn't try the Cajun. The buffet was excellent, always a great assortment of foods to suit eveyone's taste. We went with 2 other couples we had a great time!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great trip, great resort!

We had a great time at The Holiday Inn Resort. We stayed mostly at the adult pool & beach. The service was great & the food was good. Our room was larger then expected & cleaned every day. We didn't bring our kids this time but we saw that it would a great place for them to go as well, lots of swimming & activities for the kids as well. We would recommend this resort to others.

Riu Ocho Rios: Great Resort

Fantastic trip ! Hotel very clean, food and drinks fantastic, staff very friendly and accomodating to your needs. Only issue; music is very loud in afternoons around all pools so it is difficult to have aconversation around the pool. Since all rooms also seem to face pool areas it's difficult to spend some quiet time away from the noise after a full day of drinking and before dinner on your balcony but I would go back to resort again.

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing resorts

Public area nice, clean, food so delicious,service very helpful....will go back to visit again in the future. The beach it's not clean ,,not much sand have some rocks on the beach , suggest make sure to clean the rocks from some area on the beach to prevent the injury ( sprained, get cut....) to the guests.

Beautiful grounds ,beautiful view ,nice clean large rooms ,nice restaurants, friendly staff ,nice pool. Beach and view were pretty, but beach on natural side is nicer and bigger but a distance to walk, the jerk chicken outside at the restaurant awesome.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great Entertainment

This resort is nice. When we were there our daughter was the only child at the resort so they did not have kids club. We ended up upgrading to the Suites and it was worth every penny. The pool at the Beach Resort is nice and the Entertainment crew is amazing. Hallways were dark. Only one elevator out of 3 was working during our stay. Food is delicious & service is great. I would definitely go back to Jamaica but would stay at the Suites if you have children with you. If no children then Beaches [... read more] would be better as it's more of a party atmosphere.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Luxury Bahia Principe

This hotel was outstanding. Trip central was easy to deal with and our agent was very knowledgeable and friendly!! We had a wonderful vacation. From the time we arrived for the very quick shuttle to the minute we boarded the shuttle to leave we always felt safe. The room service was a little slow but the food was always hot when we got it. The lobby bar was fun at night and the disco played great music. I would suggest they change the way people get chairs around the pool. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Excellent entertainment

The entertainment was amazing. Truly talented people. Amazing dancing, singing, and comedy. Great shows. Constant activities. We all had a great time. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to be entertained in a warm, sunny place.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Destination Wedding in Jamaica

This was a fantastic property in my opinion. We were in a junior suite. Rooms recently renovated and very nice. Beautiful bathrooms. Staff were all amazing! Was rare to find someone serving without a great big smile. The entertainment crew were the best I've ever encountered. We were a group of 20 and they spent quite a bit of time hanging out. Food was good, lots of selection. Only downfall here was inability to make reservations. I'm a beach fan so I was a big disappointed when the flags were up a few days (no swimming allowed due to waves), but better safe than sorry. Sunset at the Palms: Quaint but elegant resort

The resort itself was clean ,comfortable,and not overcrowded . The beach area was private, with h a beautiful sandy beach with lots of shade! A bar and a grill,area, although the cook was somewhat slow, causing a bit of a wait for your orders. While on the resort itself there was a different menu every night, the food and desert choices where good and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only real complaint is the main roadway runs between the resort itself and the beach. Sunset at the Palms: Amazing, amazing, amazing resort!!!

We had a fabulous time! The hotel was very clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. They made you feel like part of their family. The food was delicious. We were able to enjoy the chef's a la carte restaurant and the meal was fabulous! We loved our treehouse room it was kept very clean and the grounds were beautiful. The beach was beautiful we enjoyed the white sand and beautiful swimming area. There was always plenty of lawn chairs. The beach staff were all very friendly and helpf [... read more]ul. We would recommend this resort to everyone and already have. The tours arranged through were all very informative and fun. The drivers we had were all great.

I found the resort very clean, the people exceptionally nice and helpful. The food was excellent. Fresh and a great selection. Rooms were spacious with most if not all a balcony with an ocean view. Would recommend.

SeaGarden Beach Resort: Great week at SeaGarden!

My husband and I visited this resort 4 years ago and had a wonderful time. We returned again last week with friends and were not disappointed. This is a locally owned resort that reopened 5 years ago and is in the process of rebuilding. It has an old world charm and while a guest, there is no doubt you are having an authentic Jamaican experience, as opposed to some of the larger European owned resorts that tend to be all alike. If you wish to eat at the a la carte (only one) there is a surcharge per visit. Once you get over that, you can begin to enjoy the wonderful things that SeaGarden has to offer. 1. Unbelievable staff The kind, caring and entertaining staff made out trip spectacular! Special mention to bar staff Ian, Linten and Presley who anticipated our every whim and who continuously went above and beyond. The beach attendant Roach had our chairs and towels waiting for us daily, and referred us to a wonderful glass bottom boat excursion that provided the best snorkelling that we have ever seen. The entertainment team , lead by TRex was fantastic . They entertained us well with their outstanding talent and warm humour. The beach cook, Ricardo worked hard to provide us with great beach barbeque food and yummy jerk chicken and pork. Kudos to the dining room staff who provided prompt and welcoming service. We cant say enough about the dedication of the staff to making the vacation experience outstanding. 2. Beautiful private beach 3. Fantastic entertainment 4. Delicious food . Although the restaurant was buffet style, there was plenty of excellent, well prepared and healthy food with a lot of variety. All and all we rated our vacation experience a 10 out 10. we give the resort itself an 8.5 out of 10 marred only by the lackluster rooms and tired bathrooms. That being said, we understand that hotel management will be addressing this moving forward. We will return and look forward to the continuing upgrades to this resort. !

Riu Montego Bay: Amazing

Clean hotel, great food and best entertainment staff of any resort. Only issue is the amount of people offering weed, hash and cocaine, it’s everywhere and many locals and cab drivers offering it. They don’t understand no.
