Jewel Paradise Cove- Service is excellent, food is very good and I think its important to mentioned that they will cater to any food allergies. Everything is close, easy access and beach is great.....

Catalonia Montego Bay: Relaxing

The hotel was really relaxing and pleasent. The staff was helpful and cheerful. The drinks and food were good. It was kept clean. Entertainment every night. I just wish there was a nightlife at the resort. If you wanted to party, you haf to off the resort.

Riu Negril: Riu Negril

They need to do a little upkeep on some things. Our phone didn't work all week and some of the balconies didn't have towel racks fixed to hang towels. Also always dirty dishes on top of the garbage cans that should have been picked up more often.The people that worked at the resort were wonderful. Very friendly and always asked if you needed help with anything.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: 9 fabulous days in Jamaica

Just returned from a awesome vacation at Gran Bahia Principe at Runaway Bay. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt very safe day or night. Food was very good both at the buffets and the a la cart restaurants. A slight mix-up with our reservation was handled quickly. Promised turn-down service and robes and slippers were slow in appearing but were minor problems. The resort was cleaned constantly. All and all it was a fabulous vacation.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: 7 Mile Beach is Awesome!!!

We just returned from our trip to Azul and had a amazing time! The staff is super friendly and always making sure your having a great trip. There is to many people to name! Everyone of the resort staff did a amazing job! The food at all of the la carte restaurants were all delicious. Our favourite was Garfields Beach House! Everyone of the bartenders were very friendly and went out of there way for you. The beach is amazing! Are only negative thing to say is that there was no Sunwing Rep at the hotel. He was there from 1:00 till 2:00 and he seemed always rushed to leave. We had a problem booking an excursion to go to Ricki’s cafe. It’s the first resort I’ve been to where there isn’t a sunwing Rep at the resort for the full day. But this had nothing to do with Azul. We’ll be talking to Sunwing about this. And if you are worried about going to Jamaica because of the lockdown? Don’t be. Montego Bay seemed like there was more police presence and a check point leaving St. James the rest of Jamaica seemed normal. We will definitely be coming back to this resort!!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Wonderful Resort

We had a wonderful time at the Iberostar RH Beach Resort. Buffet was great. Good fresh food with lots of selection. Entertainment was great. Kudos to Angel, String Bean & Buttercup. Room was clean

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall is AWESOME!

I went for a family wedding and was not disappointed in the resort choice. The bride gushed about the service of the wedding coordinator and that every detail was looked after before she could even think about it. The food and snacks were well curated, especially at the dessert spot, Bitez, where there were unlimited tasty treats. The French restaurant, Petit Paris, was excellent and I highly recommend the lamb! All of the staff were exceptional. Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Incredible Resort!

Absolutely no complaints at all. Food, service, facilities, entertainment...everything was amazing!! I will recommend to everyone I know and would absolutely go back again. Love Jamaica and all it had to offer

Riu Montego Bay: Pretty good

This is our 8th visit to Jamaica. We have stayed in 3 different all inclusive hotels in Montego Bay and many small hotels throughout. This was our first stay at Riu MoBay (January) and really found the resort to be very nice, the rooms are very clean and fairly well maintained. They need to change their A/C filters because it does create a musty smell. Although once we opened the patio doors it was gone. The food at the buffet was great found lots of fish and shrimp and great deserts. We lov [... read more]ed the Steak House!! The bars have awesome service with plenty of staff. The entertainment is good too. The young staff members do a great job of keeping everyone happy during the day and at night performed beautifully. Sunshine was my favourite. The beach is nice and warm and a fair size. Plenty of beautiful trees for shade and we didn’t have a hard time finding loungers. Unfortunately this hotel is about a kilometre from the airport so planes are a real nuisance and fly directly over the beach. It would be nice it they had service on the beach for drinks since you have to walk a distance to the pool bar. A few locals on small boats provide Ganja and this was very convenient and helpful to many guests. The beach party was fun too! The pool is huge and beautiful. I didn’t get in but it looked warm and lots of chairs and shade. Don’t miss the weekly Pool Party because it was hilarious and lots of fun!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great vacation!!!

This is a really nice & clean resort. The food was excellent with lots of variety at the buffet. Bar staff use premium/name brand booze in your drinks and servers (shout out to Monique) take orders at the beach and pool. The entertainment staff (Angel in particular) went above and beyond in keeping things fun and running smooth. Our only negative experience was the Japanese a-la-carte restaurant which is normally a high light at most resorts. 50% of the cooktop was not working (should hav [... read more]e been checked in advance & our group moved to another empty station) and the chef had his back to us the entire supper. On the positive side, our room was upgraded to an Ocean Front after waiting approx. 2 hours (5PM) for an available Ocean View. We would definitely stay at this resort again... great value for the money ($)

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Beautiful Resort

The hotel was very nice and rooms were good as well. The only issue we had is the that food could be hotter at the buffet. Overall that is the only issue we had while being there for 10 days. The grounds are nice and the people were very friendly.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Incredible Resort

The hotel and grounds were beautiful and well kept. Staff was amazing, from bartenders, wait staff, housekeeping, and others. Food was amazing and covered a variety of menu items. The pool was incredible and kept clean at all times and the entertainment was some of the best I’ve seen, from the nightly shows on stage, to Local musical talent, to the poolside entertainment crew! Loved it all!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Absolutely amazing!

Every aspect of this hotel was top notch! Rooms were beautiful and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Several beach areas to suit anyone, beautiful pools. Extensive selection at the buffet restaurants, including authentic Jamaican fare (highly recommend!), broad selection for a la carte. Can’t say enough about it!

Riu Montego Bay: Missing the little things

Having stayed a a few RIUs it wasn't hard to book a RIU again. The resort was lovely and the people friendly. Very clean surroundings and the food okay. I was surprised there was no room service for early morning coffee in our room but was even more surprised when I wasn't allowed to take a pot of coffee to our room. I get up early so enjoying a coffee on the balcony is a real treat. So to be able to do that US$26.00 later I bought 2 travel mugs and walked to get 2 coffees to take back to the ro [... read more]om each morning. And what happened to supplying little lotions? As small as those things are, I look forward to those little things on my vacation. According to staff these are part of cost cutting measures. It's too bad. I'm not saying that if I don't book my vacations at a RIU they will shut down but, I'm definitely going to try some place different next time.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing resort!!!

Great service. Friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned promptly. The food was fabulous. Can't wait to go back..😎 from arriving to leaving free of hassles. Great scenic route to hotel. Ac on the bus. The a LA caRte restaurant's are a must try.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Awesome Resort

Our trip to Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort was great. The hotel staff is friendly and the grounds were clean and well kept. We had a few issues with our room and the problems were taken care of immediately. Some other places we've been you need to ask a few times to get a problem fixed but that was not the case at Iberostar. The food was delicious and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Great pick

We really enjoyed the new clean facilities. Everything was close and convenient. Beautiful time...Big thank you to Janeesha the best waitress in Montego bay.Nice staff and activities..food was plentiful but not outstanding..overall amazing time will go again...not crowded..just right..close to airport....ya mon!!!!

Secrets Wild Orchid: Wonderful Holiday in Paradise

This is the 12th time to this resort since 2012. It is about 15 to 20 minutes from the airport. We only travel for 3 nights so every minute counts in Jamaica. We had hoped for a room update for being repeat guests but the resort was booked. We stayed at the Wild Orchid Preferred Club. Our room was on the top (4th) floor. This time Breathless was open. The rooftop sunsets, and beautifully appointed grounds were like we were staying at two resorts for the price of one. Our meals were excellent for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately we had a few disappointing meals at Bordeaux which is our favourite French restaurant. The staff at Secrets and Breathless are exceptional. The weather was perfect! We could not have asked for better weather. This time we paid for the VIP package at the MBJ airport. Don't think this was worth the money. We can't wait for trip 13.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Great resort

Arrived to the resort in Jan/18/18. We were greeted by hotel staff, checked in and taken to our room. It was on the second floor overlooking one of the pool areas. The room is your standard hotel room and nothing fancy however we did have two single beds for our kids and a king bed. We got what we asked for!! The room came with a tall dresser that allowed us to put the kids clothes away as well as my wifes. There was also a closet for you to hang your clothes. I always work out of the sui [... read more]t case. The bed was comfy and clean. The shower worked well with good water pressure and a nice size. The resort has a great water park for the kids and adults to have all day fun. Lazy river, water slides, tube water slide. apparently its a much better water park then the expensive Beaches just down the road. There are two other pools to choose. The swim up bar with a kids pool attached as well as a sports activity pool. although the hotel was full you had no idea it was. You didn't have to wake up and rush to claim a recliner. There were plenty of them around the pool area, in the water park, and on the beach. That being said the people were spread out and you didn't feel cramped or uneasy about finding a spot as there were lots to choose. The beach area is nice and has some small reefs you can swim close to and see plenty of fish. You can sign out a snorkel and mask as well. For little ones they have a small lie down floatee that has a clear bottom so your little one can see the fish if they can use a mask . The beach is about 200m or so. clean and soft on the feet. water was warm too! The food was good and especially the jerk chicken at the all night restaurant. The specialty restaurants were good with only having to make a reservation at the Japanese one. Staff were very friendly at all times and everywhere you went. The buffet restaurant was good with a large variety to choose from. The entertainment at night started usually around 830 so we didn't have time to check out all of it as my kids were tired by then. We did see the steel drum band which put on a good show. It would be nicer if some of the entertainment started around 730 so you if you had younger ones you could watch it. However we did learn that the kids club was open til 9 so we would feed the picky ones at the buffet then drop them off at the kids club and we would go out worry free and enjoy our dinner in peace. The kids club was excellent and worry free. First time we used it on a resort and it was great. lots of toys and activities for the kids. there is also a youths room with a pool table and video games room for them to stay in. Overall it was a great resort and worth the money paid!
